just wondering, how would i pronounce pousane from your book scout is not a band kid?

its the german word for trombone. i personally pronounce it kinda like "po-zone-nuh" or "po-so-nay" but honestly i also struggle

once again, I had the joy to work on the TTCriders holiday card! this time honouring the Scarborough LRT, a train that honestly I loved to ride. You can order them here!

TTCriders is a volunteer-run group of transit riders who work to get better transit access and service in toronto. They are really great, so check them out and their campaigns!

honestly, i would love to. my current daydream is a little short webcomic about the two of them going to an anime convention together haha. i'm just so bogged down with my current GN that i dunno when i'll get the time... thank you for this, im glad to know at least one person would want to read it haha ^^

Happy to announce my next book! A young adult graphic novel about a ragtag group of teens trying to juggle being magical girls while also living normal teen lives (very difficult).  So excited to be  working with the incredible Samia Fakih and the rest of the team at First Second : )

Sorry if this is information you’ve already shared & i just can’t find it but i got into sheridan animation this year (yay!!) and am debating whether or not to go (🗿) , and I wanted to know what you thought of the program and eventually what your reasons were for leaving the program (if you’re comfortable sharing them ofc lol)?? I live in Europe so it’s been a bit difficult to get super specific information abt the school but yeah just wondering!! thanks for any help u cud give me!! :)

eyyyyy! congratulations, thats amazing. its a really hard school to get into. i am wary to say too much, because I left in 2017 which feels like sooo long ago, lol.

pros: amazing life drawing classes and extracurricular life drawing, truly incredible, i met some of my absolute bestest friends there, i drew a lot, some of the profs were cool, each year has their own studio, i did get an animation job through the school (!)

cons: you are in a horrible horrible suburb outside of toronto called oakville and its the worst (you can train into toronto in about 35minutes though), the school only wants your money, its just a big business so it is really expensive, the class sizes are really big, mostly white staff when i went, some of the profs aren't so good, there is a lot of pressure in the program and a LOT of homework (like way too much!!!)
