HTTYD Hiccup x Male!Reader: Chapter 2.
[Previous Chapter: 1]
yo!! :D i'm rlly excited to bring another chapter of this fic!! it's so fun to write in the httyd universe oh my godd as always this will be crossposted on my Ao3 acc (@/No1RatedSalesman1997) if you'd prefer to read it there!! :] anyways,, story begins under the cut!! - Jeri <333
“This is Toothless.” The boy that you now know as Hiccup states, gesturing to the dragon that is now peering at him with caution from the other side of the clearing. “As you can see, he’s also a Nightfury- er, that’s the name that we on Berk gave this type of dragon.”
Toothless eyes you curiously, large pupils hollowed into slits and set on you, unmoving.
Despite your countless years of dragon research, you find yourself sheepishly admitting that you don’t know very much at all about this type of dragon: Ulfur is the only ‘Nightfury’ you’d ever seen, so you’d just come to assume that they were naturally illusive, or simply extremely uncommon.
You fix your eyes back on the dark mass at the other end of the clearing. It more or less looks visually like Ulfur, body low to the ground and sleek, black scales obscuring powerful muscles working beneath. Maybe a little younger, you supposed, noting the size difference in both the extruding spines trailing its back and body mass in general.
The reptile creeps slightly closer to the pair of you, lashing its tail to the side, perhaps as a sort of warning.
“... He’s missing a tail fin?” You turn your attention to Hiccup as you speak, now noticing the obvious absence.
“... Yes.” Hiccup replies to you after thinking for a moment, looking to his feet. “I’d like to tell you that it was all a massive accident, but I was the one who shot him down and ripped his tail fin. On purpose. Um, but it wasn’t on purpose, you know? I mean, my Dad had all these expectations of me and I thought that-”
“Don’t worry.” You chuckle, giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder as you cut him off. “I know what Vikings are like: I grew up in a family of them, so…”
He turns his attention to you, obviously startled.
“What- really..?” You can practically see the thoughts whirring around his head, and it brings a smile to your face. “There are Viking settlements outside of Berk..? Uh, I mean, you don’t look like a Viking-”
You chuckle, his sudden inability to piece together a sentence reminding you a little of yourself in a somewhat weird, reassuring way.
“Yeah, I have been told that before. I sort of abandoned the lifestyle after Ulfur and I started travelling.”
You turn your attention back to the wary dragon ahead of you once again, finding that he’d inched his way to about ten or so feet in front of the two of you. He was visible in the light now: the sun's beams bounced off his scales in the most familiar way, forest green eyes still set on you- although now seemingly more of curiosity than of caution.
“Ah, he’s friendly.” Hiccup blurts out beside you, and you let out a poorly stifled laugh. “... Not that I need to tell you that, but I have spent the last half a month with him building up trust.”
He ambles towards you, pupils dilating slightly as he moves to greet Hiccup with a friendly mewl. Circling around the boy, he sniffs him up and down, occasionally looking up to him expectantly.
“Oh, sorry.” He begins, placing a steady hand on the eager reptile's muzzle to steady him. “I didn’t bring you any food today, it completely slipped my mind.”
You took the moment to study the creature as he stared up at you, head tilted slightly to the side. Upon closer inspection, his head was slightly narrower than Ulfurs, facial features and overall appearance being more dainty and nimble. His wings are unfurled and splayed out slightly at his sides, a subconscious reflex that you’d noticed previously in Ulfur when he wasn’t quite comfortable in a situation. He chirps and coos as Hiccup pets him to your side, a noise that you’d grown accustomed to as a welcome constant over the course of your chaotic, exciting life. Now that you thought of it, it did bring you a sense of ease to know that Ulfur at least wasn’t the last one of his kind as you had been beginning to believe. Toothless carefully moves his attention to you, flat nostrils flaring outwards as he treats you to a cautious sniff. He’s beautiful, you conclude. One of the dragons that Nature really chose to outdo herself on.
“... I wonder if Nightfuries are territorial..?” You zone back into what Hiccup is rambling about as he absent- mindedly pets Toothless beside you. “I mean, just think! There’s just… so much we don’t know about them. Like, do you think they're solitary dragons..?”
A realisation hits you hard as you register his question. Something that you probably should have taken into account before placing yourself in front of a massive, extremely dangerous reptile.
You look down at the dark-scaled dragon in front of you with newfound fear. He ruthlessly searches your cloth shirt for your scent, and for a minute you’re left completely unsure of what to do.
You take a deep breath.
“... I think we’re about to find out.” You reply to Hiccup’s open-ended question, looking to his somewhat confused expression with one of fresh panic.
Just as you catch the boy’s expression turn quick from questioning to realisation to horror, your back hits the ground and all breath leaves your lungs. Dust clouds plume around your face, a substantial force pinning you down to the dirt by your shoulders.
As you blink open your eyes, blazing green irises bore into your own.

DR:THH Byakuya Togami x Male!Reader: Chapter Two.
[Previous Chapter: 1]
heloo!! :P sooo its rlly late where i am,, so i'll have to do my final proofread of this in the morning,, but it should [in theory] be good to go now!! been feeling shitty again,, but byakuya = best comfort chara so story begins under the cut!! - Jeri <33
A small cry of shock escapes your lips. Upon stepping through the doorway, all eyes in the room turn to you, and as you scan the disorderly crowd, you fail to recognise any familiar faces.
You force your body to get ahold of itself, hastily clearing your throat as you muster the most positive smile that you can given the circumstances.
“... Are all of you new here?” You begin somewhat sheepishly, allowing yourself to get straight to the point as you address the room. “I could use a little help figuring out what’s going on…”
A tall girl sporting long, silvery hair takes a small step towards you at your words, and now that all of the students are focused on you the click of her heel on the dense concrete rings out around the room.
“We all could, honestly.” She looks to you with a carefully composed expression that seems to conceal her true thoughts. As she prepares to speak again, she tucks her hair behind her ear with a gloved hand.
“It appears that we all blacked out upon entering Hope’s Peak Academy and regained consciousness to find ourselves seated at school desks. Can you corroborate this..?”
You can’t help but feel a little relieved at her words. Although it adds a slightly sinister element to the situation, it’s comforting to know that you’re not the only one who feels that there’s something fundamentally off about this ‘first day’.
“Yes.” You speak firmly and politely, withdrawing your hands from your pockets with care. “Yes, that’s precisely what happened to me. I also seem to have lost my belongings- I had a bag on my person that appears to have been taken.”
She raises a steady finger to her chin, eyebrows furrowing as she processes your words.
“Curious..” She mutters in response, her indifferent gaze drifting down to the concrete floor as she ponders.
No sooner had she taken her attention away from you than you found yourself clumsily introducing yourself to the room.
“Oh- hi..!” You start, pulling at the neck of your sweater out of habit. “My name’s (Y/N) (L/N).”
You make quick work of introducing yourself to everyone. The girl with the ashen hair is Kyoko, then Ishimaru, Sayaka, Celestia, Yasuhiro, Aoi- who’d insisted that you call her ‘Hina’, Junko, Mondo, Chihiro, Sakura, Leon, Hifumi…
“... Toko?” You question the timid girl in front of you, awestruck. “Toko Fukawa..?”
The purple hair, the wire-rimmed glasses- yes, you’re certain this is her!
The girl glances back at you, clearly a bit perplexed.
“... Yes,” She begins, eyeing you up in a way that you can’t quite read, “I just told you that, didn’t I..?
You quickly catch yourself, adjusting your shirt collar and clearing your throat.
“Yes, yes of course.” You say with a smile, your eyes closed. “Sorry, it’s just that I’m a massive fan of your works! My personal number one is probably ‘So Lingers the Ocean’- although now that I think about it, I’m not sure if I can really choose just one favourite.”
She looks to you abashedly over her glasses, fiddling with her fingers as if uncertain about what to make of your words. You shift your weight from one foot to the other, anxious about potentially making a bad impression on someone you admire.
"Oh, I'm sorry," You blurt out without even thinking. You try to explain yourself, hoping you don't sound too clumsy. "I know it's a little strange considering that your books are targeted towards women, but I really can't resist a well-written romance novel."
You hold out your hand for her to shake, sending her your most amiable smile when she takes it in hers.
“Nevertheless, it’s great to meet you in person!” You say with a grin, feeling thankful that you decided to turn up to this weird school after all.
You offer her a small wave and a ‘see you around!’ before turning your attention to the only person in the room you hadn’t spoken to yet: a tall, reserved blonde hiding himself away in the corner. As you make your way over, you’re sure to flash him a friendly smile.
“Hey,” You start, fixing the fit of your sweater, “my name’s (Y/N). It’s nice to meet you.”
He frowns down at you, eyebrows suddenly pushed down and knitted together in an expression that causes your own smile to diminish.
“The name’s Byakuya Togami.” he snarls, and you can’t help but adopt a small frown of your own. You wait a little while for the conversation to continue, looking up at him expectantly but eventually finding yourself cracking under his harsh stare.
When you come to the realisation that he has no further intent of talking to you, you resolve not to let him leave without having a proper back-and-forth conversation with you. You hum, taking a small moment to look him up and down and study his appearance.
“Do you like literature..?” you question, watching as his attention is brought back to you.
His sophisticated outfit- the tie, the shirt, the jacket, dress pants- made it safe for you to assume that this boy had probably read a few books in his lifetime, You’d guess if not for pleasure then to improve his rep. As a bonus, it’s something that you obviously have no trouble talking about, so it’s the perfect topic of conversation.
You look back to the stranger’s face, noticing that, if for only a second, his intense expression relaxes just a little bit.
“... What did you say your title was again?” He inquires- not an answer to your question, but an answer enough to make you crack a small smile
“Oh, I’ve been labelled as the ‘Super Highschool-Level Bookworm’- which would not be my first choice of word, but what can you do?”
You decide that you’ll take the lead in this conversation, seeing as the closed-off male makes no further attempts to speak.
“So,” You start, taking in a deep breath and clasping your hands behind your back, “Togami, what’s yours?”
He pushes his white half-rim glasses further up his nose with a slender index finger, crossing his arms across his chest as he turns his head away from you.
“Super Highschool-Level Heir.” He replies bluntly, annoyance laced thickly in his voice. “Although, in my personal opinion, I too feel that it might be a convoluted insult towards my status...”
He barely mutters the last part, with his- although somewhat half-baked- attempt at making coherent conversation with you subtly improving your mood nonetheless.
As you’re about to respond to his answer, you’re curtly cut off by the girl that you now know as Kirigiri, a gloved hand pressed lightly to her lower lip in thought. Sharply, she calls for the haphazard group’s collective attention.

Death Note L x Male!Reader: Chapter One.
yoo!! i'm back :P sorryy its been so long and sorry that i havent updated anything else recently,, ive really been struggling for motivation :(((( but i should (hopefully) be back now!! with that said,, have this fic that i wrote with a burst of motivation i got at two in the morning :] story begins under the cut as always!! - Jeri <33
Darkness.
The street is delved in the solid obscurity of night, the tall buildings lining the pavements blurring together into a mess of shadowed industrial brick and sleek, tinted glass. The road ahead lacks any sign of human life: no cars or loud drunks making their way home after a night out drinking. All there is to experience is the smothering silence, the kind that brings a ringing to your ears if you keep your mind focused on it for too long.
You’d seen this place before. The realisation hits you in a sharp, desperate attempt to stun your legs into action- a raw, primal instinct to preserve your life: yet, as you hastily command your muscles to move, they bitterly refuse. Letting out a poorly stifled noise of frustration, you are compelled to accept your fate of being unable to flee, being trapped on the spot as if tied to lead and sinking slowly, forcibly into the inky, eternal darkness of a calm ocean current.
It appears in front of you. A figure that towers over your own, silhouetted black and gold against the dull glow of the amber streetlights lining the alley. With deep, crimson eyes boring into your own, it perches over you, unmoving. A cold shiver rockets down your spine. You take a deep breath.
“Why…” You find yourself asking to the air, struggling for a way to stand your ground, “why am I here..?”
You don’t get any form of an answer. You never do.
You’re forced to watch as the beast extends a singular, slender clawed finger towards your chest. Your body seizes as if in a perpetual state of fight or flight, the blood that’s pumping in your ears shaking your eyes and blurring your vision.
You open your mouth in another attempt to speak your case, but it doesn’t discourage the monstrosity in front of you from resting the tip of its vile, slim finger atop the middle of your ribcage.
You’re immediately hit with an overwhelming electric sensation, a mangled, startled cry crawling out of your lips as you find yourself crumpling to your side on the cold, dark tarmac. You desperately claw at the uneven road with weak fingers, casting a heavy, strained glance up at the carmine eyes of your darkened captor.
It grins back down at you. Your vision fades sluggishly to darkness.
You startle awake, a small gasp slipping from your lips as you subconsciously reach a hand to grasp the fabric of your shirt where it sits over your heart as if to verify that you are, indeed, still alive.
A shaky breath rattles from your lungs. You’d had identical night terrors to this one time and time again, but that vile creature had never in any of them smiled at you.
You take a deep breath in and exhale it through your nose, attempting to forcefully remove that look of malice that the silhouette had given you from your active mind.
Heartbeat beginning to settle, you cast your eyes down at the hardwood desk below you, scanning over the sprawled out files and haphazard note paper- that’s right, you were working on a case.
You lift your arms above your head, attempting to rid your back of the tension from your previous experience and the crick caused by the awkward wooden chair you’re currently sitting on. You sigh heavily, trying your best to draw your attention back to the notes you were taking before succumbing to slumber. You spare a glance at your watch: only thirty minutes had passed. That’s good. Rain hammers down on the window panes of the library building as you get back to work.
It is only when you take your pencil back in hand and begin to scratch down ideas that you notice a presence over your left shoulder. At first you ignore the feeling, but as you realise that it’s not disappearing you decide that confrontation is required.
Turning your head around, you’re somewhat startled to be met face to face with a young black-haired man. He has a… peculiar air about him, and the dark circles under his eyes suggest that the two of you have at least one thing in common.
“Can I… help you?” You quiz the boy, watching as his attention shifts from your unorganised work splayed out on the desk to you. He tugs on the hem of his white t-shirt, placing a tentative thumb on his lower lip as he speaks.
“I’m sorry.” He talks slightly bluntly, although you can read the conviction and deliberate placing behind his words. “I couldn’t help but notice that you’re struggling with whatever it is that you’re working on.”
He takes another somewhat hesitant look over your paperwork before continuing, his eyes drowsy yet intelligent and focused, speaking volumes yet revealing seemingly nothing at all.
“Are you a detective..?”
And thus began the friendship that would pin you right in the crosshairs of a killer.

DR:THH Byakuya Togami x Male!Reader: Chapter One.
heyy!! :DD sooo,, i wouldn't really consider myself hyperfixated on danganronpa anymore,, buttt Byakuya is still a massive comfort for me and i've been going through a rough patch recently :'] so enjoy this fresh fanfic idea that i've been planning for a little while now :)) story begins under the cut!! - Mod Jericho :3
You cast a glance down at the paved floor, fiddling subconsciously with the hem of your sweater.
This is it.
The moment that your life ‘changes for the better’.
Hope’s Peak Academy.
After you’d been crowned ‘Super Highschool-level Bookworm’ (which wouldn’t have been your first choice of wording, but hey) by a formal letter assuring you that you’d gained a place at the school and should attend at the beginning of the next semester, you’d spent the next month preparing your belongings for a school year of cramped dorms, angsty teenagers and awful canteen food. You’d seriously considered turning down the offer: the promise of a shitty title and how graduating was ‘a guarantee for success!’ not exactly coaxing you to accept.
Yet here you are, hesitating in front of the iron gates.
You straighten out your shirt collar out of habit, taking a breath to cleanse your mind. Recalling that the acceptance letter stated to be in the school hall at 8:00 for the opening ceremony, you pull yourself together, swing your messenger bag to your side and push open the gate. You take a glance at your watch- 7:40.
As you enter the lofty building through the large, wooden front doors, you study the foyer: beige marble flooring reflects a row of glass double doors and tidy bronze pillars, a school community board tucked away in the corner and framed by off-white wallpaper.
You sigh, deciding to ignore the lacklustre decoration and just head to the hall and get the opening ceremony over with.
Yet, as you take your first step towards the looming corridor ahead of you, your vision begins to warp. Before you can even process it, the room is twisting, spinning and slipping away from you. With nothing around you to grab onto, you collapse clumsily to the floor, the hallway ahead unrecognisable as your vision slowly fades to black.
When you regain consciousness, your head is resting drowsily on a hardwood schooldesk. Lifting your head is a considerably ambitious feat. You rub the space between your eyes tentatively in an attempt to rid your head of the foggy remnants of unconsciousness.
Using the desk below you for support, you hesitantly stand, taking a moment to breathe. The walls felt like they were closing in, the garish yellow animal-print wallpaper aiding in creating a sick feeling in your stomach. Fluorescent lights overhead provided gaudy lighting and an obnoxious buzz, the sound gaining an overbearing grip on your mind.
You turn your attention to the classroom’s windows in order to gain an idea of how long you’d been out: instead, you’re met with sheets of dull, thick metal bolted to the wall. Curiosity piqued, you slowly make your way over to the surface, eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Giving the metal an instinctual tap with your knuckles, you find yourself frowning- why on Earth would a school need to secure metal plates over its classroom windows?
Having now been forced fully conscious by the distressing change of environment, you turn your head back to where you’d awoken, discovering that your messenger bag had seemingly disappeared while you’d been comatose.
Great. With your phone and laptop gone, you had no way of knowing where you were.
Catching the blinking of a small, red bulb from just above the chalkboard at the front of the classroom out of the corner of your eye, you turn around to be met with what looks to be an industrial surveillance camera.
This really ties the whole ordeal together for you. Why would a highschool need to reinforce its windows and install cameras in the classrooms?
You shake your head. There had to be some explanation for all of this. The camera. The windows. Your missing bag. The passing out. None of it made any sense to you.
You clear your mind, pushing back your doubts and deciding that you should be expecting heightened security in a school that claims to house the ‘most talented people from around the world’.
You stumble from the classroom and into a barren, dimly-lit hallway. The sight immediately places a pit in your stomach- where are all the students? This is the first day of a brand new semester, so either you’re now incredibly late to the opening ceremony or something legitimately sinister is going on.
You give your best attempt at keeping your cool, deciding to head back to the foyer in pursuit of your lost belongings. Stuffing your hands into your jean pockets, you scurry down the corridor, the slight sharp pink tint of the lights and the black and white floor tiles instilling an uneasy feeling into the rooms’ atmosphere.
You let yourself breathe a quiet sigh of relief when you happen upon a room clearly labelled with an ‘exit’ sign. Yet, as you swing open the door you are not met with your absent bag: instead, you find yourself face to face with a room full of people.
heyy,, welcome to the end!! :D
sooo,, i'm trying to keep my chapters shorter for maximum ease of reading-- i hope this helps :]]
i'm excited to get out more chapters of this story-- i've already started writing the second one :'3
anyways,, thank you for your time and i hope you enjoyed!!

HTTYD Hiccup x Male!Reader: Chapter 1 :)
Heyo!! so,, this is the beginning of a HTTYD Hiccup x Male!Reader that i've been cooking up for a while!! It's not a request,, so it's straight from my brain especially for your viewing pleasure :] anyways,, enjoy!! :D (story starts under the cut!!) - Mod Jericho :))
You reattach your journal to its place on your leather belt at your hip, straightening your spine and pulling your shoulders backwards. The wind streams through your hair and pins the stray strands to both sides of your face, moisture from the young early morning clouds clinging to your eyelashes. Dawn’s rays bounce off your companion’s murky scales, complex muscles moving intently just beneath his skin. Broad wings gently carve through the heavens like raw ink across paper, a dark blot against the sky and a shadowed smudge reflected in the waters below.
“Alright, Boy.” You reach out a hand to swipe across his head affectionately, earning a contented chirp in return. “We’re almost there; what'd ya say we see how fast we can go..?”
You plant your feet firmly in the stirrups of his saddle, gripping securely onto the leather handle in front of you in anticipation.
Swiftly, the reptile tucks his feet backwards, extending out his wings to their full span before bringing them harshly back down, propelling the two of you forwards at a stunning speed as you blink the air from your eyes.
Try as you might, you can’t block the wide grin that develops across your face; despite the many, many years you’d both been travelling together, the sheer childlike thrill of soaring through the clouds at extreme speeds simply never weakened, never failing to grip your chest tight with emotion and send adrenaline rushing through your body.
As you look to the horizon, a rather meagre, leafy expanse of land begins to emerge.
“Well then, Buddy…” You address your accomplice, feeling the air pass by at a more leisurely pace as he slows the beat of his wings, “This looks like our stop.”
At your word, he curls his body downwards and pushes himself into a nosedive, aiming for the shade and cover of a lush, green forest sprawled out below the two of you. He keeps his speed, aptly weaving in and out of dense trees before halting himself at a clearing with a swift and powerful thrash of his wings, dropping to the ground silently and flopping to the floor in order to rest his limbs.
Dismounting his saddle, you begin to take in your surroundings as you walk around to speak with your reptilian companion.
“Great job, Ulfur.” You praise him, giving him a scratch under the chin as he chatters back in reply.
You appear to have found yourself in a clearing of sorts; the both of you are now surrounded by lanky, thickly needled trees and heavy shrubbery. The day was still young: the sky managing to peer through the forest's canopy and the sun's warmth travelling with the wind.
You take your place on a nearby moss-tainted rock, settling down cross-legged and once again pulling your journal from your hip, running your fingers briefly over the rough leather cover.
Your stomach lets out a hearty growl, and you can’t help but chuckle.
“Hey, Boy.” You think aloud, grabbing the reptile’s attention. “You wanna go fetch us some fish while I write a few observations in my notebook..?”
The dragon groans in agreement, pupils visibly widening as he bounds off into the waxy shrubbery ahead, leaving only the sound of rustling leaves in his wake.
Something brushes against the back of your neck. You startle, whipping your head around hastily to get a look at your 'attacker'.
You let out an audible hum of confusion when you're met face-to-face with a needled tree branch sprouting intense, crimson berries.
“Hmm, strange…” You murmur, touching the tip of your pencil to your lower lip as you flip through your notebook with your thumb, “I swear I've never documented this type of tree before…”
You look up from your fixation on your work only to lock eyes with a young boy, possibly around your age, looking you over with awe etched onto his face.
You stumble up from your sitting position, disorientated at the sight of another person.
“Hello there..!” You attempt to be friendly- you don’t want to scare him, “Sorry to intrude- I didn’t think anyone inhabited this island.”
Pulling at your collar sheepishly, you observe the boy quickly pull himself together, an awkward smile eventually befalling his face.
“Er, Yes- we’re a village of Vikings, I’d say around 150 to 200 strong..?” The mystery boy replies, taking a few curious steps closer to you as you look back to him in shock.
“Really?” You slap yourself for not properly looking for any settlements as you were landing, “I’m truly sorry; if I’d have seen your village on the way in, I’d have gone to introduce myself..!”
You leave the short boy in front of you no slot to speak, instead deciding to ask a few questions.
“So,” You open, bringing your journal up to eye level once again as he steps ever closer to you, “what else can you disclose about your village..? If you don’t mind telling me, that is…”
The mystery boy opens his mouth to answer, but before he can even get a word in, a hulking mass of black scales and brown leather moves hastily in front of you, extending out its wings to act as a shield and baring its sharp teeth in a low growl.
You panic, running out in front of the reptile and trying to get his attention.
“Woah, easy Boy..!” You attempt to quell him, resting your hand as gently as you can on his muzzle, “He doesn't want to hurt us..!”
To your relief, you are able to calm his nerves with ease by tenderly running your hand along the bridge of his nose. You sigh, releasing a breath you didn’t know you were holding in and allowing yourself to catch your breath.
“A… Nightfury..?” You hear the mystery boy breathe out behind you, and you whip your head around to face him.
“Don’t freak out..!” You extend your free hand out to the boy as if it will make him stay to listen, “Please..!”
You can hear your heart racing in your ears: the last thing you want right now is to be chased down by a group of dragon hunters.
However, the boy’s feet stay planted firmly where he stands, with you taking his choice to remain as your chance to explain yourself.
You usher Ulfur over to stand by your side, preparing to make your getaway if it is needed.
“Look…” You start, sending a serious look to the boy standing in front of you, “I know it's not exactly… common practice for a Viking to ride a dragon.”
You gesture to the wind-battered saddle strapped on your companion’s back, and the expression on the boy’s face is unreadable.
“But you have to understand…” Your voice lowers in level- you need to get through to him, “Ulfur and I… we grew up together. I would trust him with my life should the situation turn grim.”
You turn to the side in order to brush a hand across the top of Ulfur’s head, and he lets out a noise of hushed endearment.
“I don’t know how much your people have documented about his kind, but I can assure you that he’s not a danger to you or to anyone in your village.”
A moment of silence passes between the two of you, and you brace yourself for the worst.
You debate just grabbing onto Ulfur’s harness and leaving; moving on to the next island on your map and forgetting that this ever even happened.
The boy’s quiet voice brings you back from your thoughts.
“S-So you’re saying…” He stumbles over his words, taking a hesitant step closer whilst eyeing Ulfur, “It’s possible..? They can be trained..?”
You’re stunned at his question. You take a moment to gather your thoughts, genuinely unsure of how to answer.
“Dragons..?” You question, hesitant: you’d expected him to react with fear, not with curiosity. “Well, sure- I’d say so…”
A look of long-awaited respite washes over his face, a small smile emerging on his features. You eye him with caution, indecisive on how to feel about his reaction.
“Okay, this is gonna sound crazy,” He starts, the beginnings of a chuckle woven into his voice, “but… could you help me with something..?”
alright,, my first ever writing post on this blog!! I wanted to start this series off with a sort of prologue,,, just to get myself onto the right track of thought and maybe possibly drum up some interest??? (i’ll still write it even if no-one sees this,, i'm in love with the ideas i have for this story :D )
yeah so basically what i'm trying to say is the chapters after this will include more story and be better etc lmao
but,, i hope you enjoy this nonetheless!! :)

hello & welcome!! :D
hello all and welcome to my fanfic blog!! :33
i'll tell you some things about me so that you can get to know me better!! --
you can call me Jericho!! :))
i use he/him pronouns
i am neurodivergent (i am autistic),, so please bare this in mind when requesting etc!! (thank youz!!)
as i am autistic,, my blog will be completely neurodivergent friendly!! (font/ image/ gif wise etc!!)
i feel like i should state this: my reckless use of lowercase/ overuse of punctuation will not be in my actual writing lmao,, its more of a thing i do bcuz i like it :33
i am 17 (a minor) so i will not be dealing with anything inappropriate in that manner!!
my fanfiction is mostly written so that i can explore/ indulge in my hyperfixations (ive heard some people don't like this,, so i thought i'd say it here!! (: )
I mostly write 'Character x Reader' fanfics,, but i might stray to 'Character x Character' from time to time :DD
my personal blog is here,, so feel free to put something in my ama tab or message me if you want!! :)
I have an Ao3 and wattpad acc (although the wattpad one is old lol)!! they're both @/No1RatedSalesman1997 !!
guidelines for requesting!! --
again,, i ask for no openly sexually explicit prompts/ asks of any kind plz!! (as i am a minor (: )
i wont write anything with real people in it bcuz that feels weird to me :))
LGBTQ+ asks/ prompts are of course allowed + actively encouraged!! (me being an asexual gay man myself :3 )
no extremely violent gore of any kind plz :') (this includes s*lf h*rm as this is triggering for me (: )
plz only submit a request once!! (this doesn't mean you can't submit two different requests at the same time tho :D )
i write pretty much everything from full-fledged fanfics to imagines ,, so don't be afraid to ask for what you want!!
of course i ask for no anti-LGBTQ+,, p*dophillia or inc*st content in my ask box ty :))
other than that,, ask away!! :DD
sources that i write for!! (in no particular order) --
how to train your dragon (httyd)
megamind (im not joking im very much hyperfixated on it currently)
danganronpa?? (im not hyperfixated on it anymore but i can still write for it >:D )
lucifer (the tv series)
detroit: become human (d:bh)
death note :)
undertale / deltarune
the legend of zelda (loz)
avatar: the last airbender + legend of korra
steven universe (although plz note that i can't do anything romantic for this,, only platonic (: )
lego ninjago (again,, i am for real rn)
(dont see your fandom here?? feel free to ask/ message me and i'll see if i'm up to the challenge >:3 )
final thoughts!! --
i understand that my energy isn't for everyone,, but i really hope that you can enjoy what i put out here!! :)
hope to see you at my first real post (and many others after that!! :DD)
