U GUYS OMGGG I JUST MET AN OLDER GOTH COUPLE AT THE STORE AND THEY WERE SOOOO SWEET 🥹🖤

I was standing in line waiting to pay for my stuff, just scrolling through Instagram. The older man looked at me and goes “I love your outfit so much! It looks cool!” and that already made my face light up because no one in this boring town likes the way I dress. So I immediately smile and thank him. He tells me that him and his wife have always loved the gothic style and that they think that someone my age in this time dressing like this is cool. We continue talking for a bit and I thank them for their sweet compliments. As they’re about to leave, he comes close to me and says that he’s always wanted a long black dress like the one I’m wearing, but men weren’t allowed to dress like that during his time. I tell him that I hope him and his wife can comfortably dress however they want now and they both smile warmly at me and then leave the store. It really was one of the sweetest interactions I’ve ever had and I’ll think about them for a while. I hope they can life a happy and comfortable life.

My mom told me she used to listen to this song a lot when she was young and that she still loves it. She told me that a long long time ago and I never thought much of it. But just the other day, I was feeling sad and that memory suddenly popped into my head. I decided to listen to it and it suddenly hit me how beautiful and comforting this song is. I could understand why my mom loved it so much growing up. It kinda feels like I could become a little closer to her even if she doesn’t know it. It’s like I can feel what she felt and it’s oddly comforting in a way. Like I’ve always been apart of her and like I always will be.
