Heels is on Netflix now. Go check it out, show them some love. They deserve it. This show is an amazing piece of art. The writing and acting is just top notch. They're getting a second chance now since they've been done so wrong. Here's hoping netflix will spring for a third season.
Okay, so since the strike in Hollywood prohibits actors from promoting their work, Stephen is getting a lot of hate for his opinion, and this show is amazing and it would suck for it to get cancelled because of the conditions the union has during the strike, I decided it is up to the fans to take over the promotion:
youtube
Go watch it, first Episode of the second season is amazing!
Show Stephen and the cast and crew some love.

I didnt really watch arrow, just few episodes but didnt ray gave her palmer tech also? So cringe.
Hi thank you for your question.
Ray turned Queen Consolidated into Palmer Tech and then just handed it over to her. After she dumped him for Oliver... like sure, very realistic, lmao. It was very cringe.

Unpopular opinion but Felicity didn't deserve the career she had and didn't work for it, it was just handed to her by men she was involved with. She was severly underqualified and had no understanding of a company's hierachy and zero respect for anyone, including her superiors. It wasn't badass, it was cringe.
She was promoted from simple IT worker to EA of the CEO not for talent, not because of her experience, not because of her degree, not because of her professionalism (which she was entirely lacking) but simply because Oliver was an idiot who didn't realize the issue of "If I'm going to be Oliver Queen CEO, then I can't very well travel down 18 floors every time you and I need to discuss how we spend our nights." could've been easily taken care of by the CEO requesting she travel up the 18 floors to come see him at his office, where they could privately discuss how they spent their nights. You're the boss, have the employees come to you, not the other way around. No need to give her one hell of a promotion she didn't even appreciate.
It was absolutely no surpise Isabel and most of QC drew the conclussion she was sleeping with Oliver and got the job because of that. Her wardrobe changed from professional to too short, colorful and tight dresses, she openly disrespected her boss every chance she got, in front of other employees, his business partner (who was trying to take the company from him), and even clients. Why should anyone respect Oliver in is role as CEO if not even his EA showed him any respect and tried to demean and ridicule him any chance she got? And regularly pointed out that he'd dropped out of college? She was so ungrateful and acted as if the job was beneath her, not understanding just how important an EA for the CEO and their work is. People spend years to reach that position and it was handed to her for nothing while she was in her early twenties, overgoing more qualified personal in senior positions. It's no wonder QCs employees harbored animosity towards him. His choice was very unprofessional and the way Felicity behaved made Oliver look like a joke and not someone to be taken seriously and knew what he was doing.
Also, she was then responsible for Oliver losing the company. Showed zero loyalty towards him by taking the job his rival who took the company from him offered, then sleeping with said man to get back at a grieving Oliver and a rise out of him. (And can we just take a minute to dissect the fact she got mad at him for 'not caring about Sara, his Sara's death' but then expected him to get over it right this second and jump in a relationship with her, make it make sense! Do you want him to grieve the woman he'd loved for eight years or do you want him to pretend he doesn't care and get involved with you right away? Make up your mind woman!) Using Ray to get what she wants. Ray hands the company over to her even after the shitty and disrespectful way she treated him, used him really, while she had zero qualifications to run it. She got the company because she was sleeping with Ray. And Ray later on in Legends regrets that choice after she ran it to the ground.
Felicity never considers offering the company to Thea, after she and Oliver broke up. Oliver might not have wanted it but Thea may have and she'd been a great choice. Felicity uses the company's scientific discoveries for her own personal needs, does a really bad job with the board who obviously neither like nor respect her, she hasn't earned her position, she might have gone to MIT but she doesn't have a business degree, any understanding of how an international company like QC is being run and lacking the people skills to potentially make up for her lack of knowledge nor is she willing to listen to and learn from other people because she feels she knows best, she graduated from MIT! What do those people with their business majors and years upon years of experience in the field know compared to her IT knowledge from MIT?
Felicity literally slept herself into the position she was in and it was no wonder she wasn't respected by the company's board and employees. She'd done nothing to earn that position or their respect.
Let me know what you guys think and if I'm alone with this opinion on the matter. It just always bugged me how little respect was shown for the position of an EA and how unrealistic Felicity's rise in the company was. One degree isn't interchangable with another and it doesn't matter how prestigious the college you graduated from was if your degrees aren't in the field you now work in. You might be the most knowledgable about computers but that doesn't mean you know how to run an international billion dollar company and she obviously didn't.

Something that always confused me were the people claiming Oliver didn't love Sara, wasn't really interested in her....
Right. That is why he was the one pursuing her and making the first step, initiating their involvements EVERY SINGLE TIME!
He begged her to come on the Gambit with him, she was having some serious doubts and Oliver went all caps on her "PLEASE" with exclamation points like seriously? How desperate was he to get her to come with him? But sure, it was just about sex cause Oliver Jonas Queen wouldn't have been able to pick up just any woman simply to have some physical fun with while travelling. He was begging his girlfriend's sister to join him on a trip with his father on a freaking Yacht which made keeping their affair a secret pretty much impossible.
On Lian Yu he risked everything to save her, to keep her safe and to protect her time and again. He was the one who initiated the kiss on the Freighter. He was the one making it very clear to her how he felt and what he wanted. Cause, there's no way that kiss was cause he wanted to get it on... it was a "we may not see each other again because I might die and I need you to know how I feel" kind of kiss.
When she came home, he did everything within his power to convince her to stay.
He was once again the one pursuing her and initiating their relationship.
He was the one taking their involvements to the next step or trying to "We should think about getting a more permanent place.
" - "we? are you asking me to move in with you?"
Oliver also didn't want her to leave. Tried to stop her even when knowing he can't.
And the look on his face in 3.01 when she showed up and his "I hope so" after asking if she'd be around more permanently again.
Oliver Jonas Queen loved Sara Lance dearly, completely, selflessly and unconditionally.
Sara was the one he chose time and again.
"I chose you." Was true in more ways than simply his choice between Shado and Sara.
Oliver was willing to risk everything, including his life for her years before he became a vigilante, had proper training or suffered any sort of losses.
Irresponsible, "selfish" according to him, immature playboy Ollie was willing to die in order to look for Sara after the Gambit sank. Mr. "I detest swimming" would've jumped back into the freezing, stormy seas of the North China Sea had Robert not held him back.
But sure, it was just a fling and she meant nothing to him.
Okay, I'm done ranting now. But just saying, there was no one Oliver took more risks for than Sara. Saving Felicity or Laurel after years of training doesn't measure up to him saving Sara, getting between her and a gun etc with little to no training and a much bigger chance of him dying.
But that is just my humble opinion.

What’s your favorite friendship between Oliver and any other character(s) in arrow? Love your blog and opinions!
Sara! Lmao, no just joking, well sort of... ;)
I love, love, love Oliver and Tommy's friendship and we were so robbed by the writers killing him off after Season One, so much missed potential and they pretty much ripped out Oliver's soul with that act.
I also love Oliver and Roy, their friendship was so precious and their loyalty inspiring. It grew with time and I loved that we were allowed to be part of the journey.
Oliver and Lyla are one of my favorites too, even though the show neglected them and ignored their potential. I think Lyla could've been someone Oliver could've confided in and that she would've understood him and his choices when the rest did not.
Yeah, I think those are my three favorite friendships, four if we count Sara.
It makes me so sad that Oliver lost his entire support system over the course of the show and was left with people who turned on him every chance they got, belittled him and blamed him for everything that went wrong. The poor guy would've deserved to have at least ond person who was always on his side.
Aw, thank you so much. That means a lot. I love your question(s) and answering any question anyone might have. I like the interactions, it's one of the things I love on AO3 that I can interact with my readers in the comment section.
I hope my answer was to your satisfaction, otherwise let me know and I elaborate, and that you have a lovely day.

What’s your opinion on Superarrow (Oliver x Kara)
That's a good question.
Theoretically, I'd say they have potential but given the way Kara treats Oliver and the opinion she seems to have of him I think it would probably not work. He'd once again be with a woman who wouldn't be able to accept him for who he is. Their world views and approaches are way too different. I don't think they'd work in the long run.
Kara just like most doesn't see Oliver as a broken man (I don't mean that in a negative way) and because of that doesn't understand that he is the product of all the tragedies and anguish and torture (both physical and emotional) he experienced, and judges him for his, to her incomprehensible, actions and behavior. I think she would struggle too much with his issues when it comes to sharing his feelings and his past.
And I feel like Oliver would put her on a pedestal like he did Felicity and constantly feel he wasn't good enough for her and didn't deserve her. And that wouldn't be healthy for either.
Kara needs to be loved by everyone, she can't handle it when strangers feel negatively about her, she puts so much value on the opinion of others that she probably wouldn't be able to handle Oliver on one of his bad days, she'd take his mood and behavior personally and would stress over it and feel like she did something wrong.
I think they are way too different to work in a relationship. I could see them as good friends though. You know once they actually, really got to know each other.
But that is just my humble opinion and how I’d see them.

missing canarrow 😔❤️
Yes, I do miss them. For me they were these rare couple between two people who had actual story together. Not just see each other and fall in love, but go through shit and fall in love. I also love the idea that a man and a woman can be soulmates and also equals in power level and importance in the story, without the need the one to be diminished so the other to thrive. They were the real power duo.

What are your favorite arrow episodes? If you don’t mind me asking?
I am so sorry it took me forever to answer this one, life's been crazy lately.
That is a good question.
I love 'Heir to the Demon' I think this episode was great.
I also love the Pilot, simply because it had me hooked and was when I got invested in Oliver (and Sara to be honest).
'Sara' surprisingly is one of my favorites too, simply because of Stephen's acting. He knocked it out of the park here and really drove how important Sara was to Oliver home. He understood what the writers forgot.
I mean 'Sacrifice' and 'Seeing Red' were great episodes I just hated that Tommy and Moira died (and Sara left town right before)
One of my favorites and least favorite ones is 'Suicide Squad' love the Oliver any Sara scenes don't really care for the Dig part. Sorry. But I was more invested in the main couple than the sidekick 🙈
I loved most os Season 1 & 2. I thought 'Invasion' was a lot of fun and it is my favorite from the crossovers, the personal drama was kept to a minimum and Oliver and Sara were allowed to interact at least a little and we had Thea in it too.
Uh, almost forgot 'The Promise' was a very powerful episode, I really liked that one.
And I loved the Season 2 island flashbacks with Sara. And yes, I know my bias is showing, lmao.
Thank you for the question.

Okay, seriously, everyone who is not yet watching Heels has got to. This show keeps on getting better and better with every episode and the twists and things they blindside you with are just amazing! The writing is phenomenal and the acting is just spot on and mindblowing!
Okay, I'm done fangirling now but seriously, check it out. Stephen Amell brought me here but the writing and acting has not only kept me here but kept me hooked.

What songs remind you of Oliver and Sarah? Either as a ship or their individual characters? If you don’t mind me asking
I am so sorry for how long it took me to answer your question. The last couple of weeks have been crazy.
Yes, so many 😉 most are for both since they are very similar in character and their stories and demons are pretty much a reflection of the other, at least in my opinion.
Canarrow:
The songs
Gang Gang - Nova Rockafella,
Ghost - Tom MacDonald,
Army - Ellie Goulding,
Always remember us this way - Lady Gaga,
Rewrite the Stars - Anne-Marie & James Arthur,
Parachute - Ingrid Michaelson,
Him & I - G-Eazy & Halsey,
Kill for you - Eminem & Skylar Grey,
Remind me - Brad Paisley feat. Carrie Underwood,
I want Crazy - Hunter Hayes,
Secret love - Little Mix,
Can't say no - Rae Garvey,
Wild Love - Rae Garvey,
The Only One & Don't give me those eyes - James Blunt,
Oath - Cher Lloyd feat. Becky G,

Can you hold me - NF feat. Britt Nicole,
Mirror - Justin Timberlake,
Mein Mädchen - Fler
Sweeter than fiction - Taylor Swift
Us against the world - Westlife
Lullaby - Nickelback,
Lucky ones - Lana del Rey,
Heaven - Gotthard,
are just a handful that make me think of them as a couple or friends.
Leave a light on - Tom Walker,
Paralyzed - NF,
Battle Scars - Guy Sebastion feat. Lupe Fiasco and most songs from Soldier Hard or Icon for Hire remind me of Oliver and some Sara too.
Oliver:
Just a man & I can't sleep - Tom MacDonald,
Difficult & Going through Changes - Eminem,
Astronaut - Simple Plan,
Comfortably Numb - Roger Waters,
Numb - Linkin Park,
The coldest night & Traces of sadness - Vanilla Ninja
These are mostly for both of them:
Happy hurts - Icon for Hire,
Triggers - Soldier Hard,
Mansion - NF,
Outside the Wall - Pink Floyd
Sara:
Chasing Twisters - Delta Rae,
Skin - Sixx A.M.
Those are the ones that just came to mind but there are so many more I missed for sure, lol. Some of these might have inspired a story or two ;)
Do you have songs that make you think of them?

Okay, so unpopular opinion but Oliver didn't really have a right to be angry at Moira after he found out Thea was Malcolm's daughter, or maybe he did but he had no right to judge her without even giving her a chance to explain.
One he knows better than anyone that people make mistakes. He has cheated on his past girlfriend several times, having a full blown affair with her sister, so getting mad at his mother for having been involved with a friend of his father's is a bit hypocritical. Just saying.
I get that he was hurt and very emotional, Felicity's awful timing in dropping that bomb didn't help and his first reaction being like this makes kind of sense given the entire situation he found himself in, but after the first shock and some of the initial feelings had passed, it would've made more sense for him to confront her and get the entire story, which he would've understood.
And two that knowledge changed nothing for him when it came to his feelings about Thea. So it didn't really matter and since he was also angry at Moira because she made a liar out of him because Thea could never know once again shows that he agrees with Moira's choice to not tell Thea. So they are on the same page and the actual person who turned him into a liar is Felicity. Moira wasn't the one who told him that secret and burdened him with that knowledge, Felicity was. Moira would've taken it to her grave.
Also, honestly, Felicity is more to blame than Moira. And I know a lot of people will disagree with me here but there was no reason why Oliver or Thea needed to know that Thea wasn't Robert's biological daughter. He had loved her as if she were his own. And after knowing who Malcolm was and what he had done it would've been a kindness on Felicity's side to not share that information, especially because she went against Oliver's wishes and behind his back to dig into his family's past. That is not okay.
Plus Thea being Malcolm's daughter had no effect on their lives until the moment Thea learnt about it. Had Felicity stayed out of the Queen family's business, they wouldn't have lost everything, the relationship between Moira and her children wouldn't have been fractured before her death and Thea wouldn't have gone with Malcolm and lost her trust in Oliver and been manipulated to kill Sara.
The fact that Oliver was not angry at Felicity also made little sense to me. Like Moira said, he'd hate Moira but he'd hate Felicity too, he should've at the very least been angry at her for going against him and purposely go to try and dig up dirt on his mother. I would've been. If someone who claimed to be my friend wouldn't listen if I told them to not go hack my family I'd be mad. It's my family and none of their business. But that's just my opinion.
Plus people are entitled to their secrets and Moira had good reasons to keep that one. It was the only way to keep Thea out of Malcolm's grasp. Her action was made out of love and in order to protect her daughter.
Moira made some shady decisions but I get this one, especially since Robert had been aware of it and chosen to love and raise Thea as his own. Not telling Thea was a kindness at that point in time and since both Moira and Robert had known how dangerous Malcolm is for years I think keeping the truth from Thea had been the right choice. Learning the truth messed her up so much which is proof that the choice to keep it from her had been the right one on Moira's part.
This is just something that's been bugging me for a while but I couldn't really articulate why until now, lol.

Do you ship anyone else with Sara or Oliver? If you don’t mind me asking / nbr (not being rude)
That's a good question, I had to think about it. And you are not being rude at all.
I did like Oliver with both Helena and McKenna there was a lot of potential there in those relationships and I wish they'd been developed more. I found the characters of both women also very interesting and would've loved to see more of them.
Having Oliver and Samantha work things out and possibly work out as a couple would've been an interesting road too. Even though they would've had a lot to work through, what she did to Oliver was just unforgivable in my opinion but Oliver is a far better person than I am.
I think Sara and Snart had a lot of potential. Same goes for Sara and Zari and Sara and Constantine. I really wish the Legend writers would've gone down the Sara/Zari route, it could've been so great and would've made a lot more sense than Sara and Ava which came out of nowhere, Sara and Zari had built up and development.
I also think Sara and McKenna or Sara and Helena could've been fun pairings. Or you know throw Oliver in the mix and it would've been a party.
But in my opinion Oliver and Sara are the perfect fit, they work very well together and they have such a deep love, understanding and respect for each other. They know the other inside out and know they can trust the other completely and that there is nothing they could do to change the way they feel about each other.
Yeah, I think those are all the other people I could see them with.
Oh wait, Oliver and Kara have potential too. Or Oliver and Constantine, don't ask me why, I just find the thought amusing and part of me thinks it could actually work, lol.

Started an Arrow Season three re-watch, haven't seen it since that first time years ago, ten minutes into the first episode I already wrote a big rant, had to stop mid episode it is just so wrong on so many levels.
I tried to go in with an open mind but the first five minutes already pissed me off so much...
Like Oliver telling Felicity she should've bought him a bed instead of a fern because he's been living in the Foundry the past five months... so, I imagined the bed he and Sara slept in while they were staying at the Foundry in Season two... I must have, right? And Oliver having lived there since Felicity butted into his family affairs even after he told her not to and ruined the relationship between Moira and her children and Oliver and Thea. And with that forced him out of his home and into the Foundry. Oliver's pretty much lived in the Foundry and slept in the bed he had there since 2.13 Heir to the Demon... Just saying...
Not even gonna start on the stupid, unrealistic Oliver is completely broke storyline....
Anyway, I might post the actual rant at some point, or not. We'll see. The bed thing just gets me so mad, there's no reason or point to it. He had a bed in the Foundry in Season two, he was not sleeping on the floor. Where did that bed go? A bed doesn't just go poof...
