I let the Sony T90 go. It doesn’t suit my needs & I’m glad to have had the opportunity to use it.

I went on a 3 1/2 mile loop trail in the Haw River State Park NC.

Found this at a thrift shop a few towns away. I was about leave after perusing their shelves. I always look through the glass cases at the entrance. I almost missed it was under a a few pairs of earrings. I wanted one 15+ years ago and now I can let my curiosity have its way.

It’s a Sony DSC T90 Cybershot 12.1 megapixel pocket camera. I was surprised at how small it is. It is the same size as my card wallet but a little thicker. It’s has a metal body and the weight feels good. Its size makes it feel spy-like.

I’m excited as it was an “as is”, no returns, no charging cable or pro duo memory stick. So I’ll won’t know if it works until Saturday. I ordered a new battery/charger and used memory stick. Fingers crossed that it works.

This is my next project. A modified frame pack with a randonneuring style bag at the top of the frame & a space below to put a bear canister. I will be using modern light weight materials for the bag.

I have committed myself to this because I have cut the frame down a more manageable size. As seen in photos.

As for the small military frame pack in the picture on the bottom right. My intention is to clean that frame up and make a nice waxed hemp bag/rucksack and more of a traditional.

I will be drawing a mock up and replacing the picture as soon as I have a chance to sit down and do. I’m just putting these thoughts down live and quickly.

A few hours in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Wish I had had time to hit the waterfront park. I believe it may be Riverside Park. Maybe next time.

Went to my local thrift shop & found this Lenovo ThinkPad T460. I walked out with it for $32. ($12 was for the power supply & tax). It’s only issue was it had BitLocker. It was decommissioned but not wiped. I removed the drive wiped it & installed Arch Xfce4 base package plus Firefox & neofetch. Happy with this find. Battery is in good shape. Definitely has a matte display.

Messing with older laptops & Linux is better than doomscrolling & tv for me. Your mileage may vary.

She dances & splashes in the reflection of the moon & stars. The moon shines on her feet as if she danced in golden paint. But she is the hanged woman card #12. A leather strap holds the painting by her ankle. Suspended she hangs with her hair flowing down. Is she pulling her dress up or holding it down with her hands bunched in it.

#12 She is a gift to my love.

Doing last minute Christmas stuff today and saw this Ouroboros.

I miss riding a bicycle (commuting/transport) & white water kayaking as a hobby. Nothin like hiking in for a huck fest after winter time rain in WNC. Slow hardwood dry times with splash of cold rain. I never had a bad run on 7ft falls. Boat of choice Eskimo Diablo OG but I’m thinking I might look for a Liquid Logic Braaapp or similar. Just a fun time on a class 3 river run that is my dream now. If I get reincarnated, I want to remember get into WW kayaking early on. The plan would be become the ultimate river-rat dirtbag but be fucking happy because that was my happy place. Hindsight is the worse. Wow this whole rant comes from a very selfish place.

Thanksgiving Day after party.

Jouer Seur “not playing alone” tonight. Had fun playing Yahtzee & Sorry. Was the Sorry winner but was third of 3 in Yahtzee.

“I picked up this Yahtzee game 2nd hand. The cup has felt lining so it not as loud.” Amazing idea! Two thumbs up because it works.

Based on the game’s mechanics I drew an Ace of ♠️’s & rolled a 4️⃣ so that = take a class for an hour.

So I took the Dyslexic U Entrepreneurs and StartUp Mentality course. Took two hours because I needed to digest what I had learned. I am dyslexic and I realized I have been told to not think the way I think. I don’t know other people think in the same way. Like the term “helicopter view” is what I have discussed with friends and family. I had an emotional dump 20 minutes into the course. Then I finished it up.

Wow, I like this approach to free time.
