Choosing a theme is a great start to begin your photography journey. Giving it focus and direction. Landscape photography, street photography, or even self-portraits are some examples of subjects to start with for a theme. Maybe you want more of an abstract theme, like texture and patterns.
Once you have chosen a theme and a title for your project, you can officially start and continue to be focused while you’re out there.
As a beginner, it’s a good idea to start simple. Some ideas to get you started include:
Self-portraits: Experiment with different poses and expressions.
Street/Urban Photography: Go for a walk in the park or your city, or take a ride to the beach or a mall to get inspired by your surroundings.
Social issues: Use your project to address issues like homelessness and abuse.
