(W.i.p name cause im dumb) Part 1 David x reader
Night city, a dystopian hellscape where violence runs free and you can't get by without packing iron, a truly dangerous city like no other. to Rose was home, the bustling streets, the neon lights and the distant gunshots and sirens. It’s been apart of her life so long she really wouldn't last long anywhere else before missing the chaos in the city, it was in her veins, born bread and raised on the streets. Somehow she found herself here the Arasaka school uniform hanging on the back of the sofa staring at her seemed more intimidating than any of the dangers that she might encounter in night city.
She started the School year late, somehow getting a scholarrship and financial aid in order to attend. This is the last thing she wanted for herself but her father had arranged it shortly before he passed away. He wanted a better life for her. he was an edgerunner, he saw so much violence and hate he didn't want the same life for her.
Walking into the classroom she was early only seeing a few students so far but one stuck out like a sore thumb in the best way possible. He was wearing uniformed blazer jacket over a black tee shirt and rocking a pair of street jeans, she was able to see his personality shine through from the moment she laid eyes on him . her eyes were drawn to him immediately. He gave off a different vibe than the others and he looked equally as miserable as herself. If anyone could spot a fellow street kid it was her. deciding to walk over and introduce herself taking a shot in the dark. She took her headphones off putting them around her neck as she walked over to greet him.
"Hey. Anyone sit here?" She asked pointing to the Link chair next to the boy with her thumb Her Arasaka uniform, as much as she hates it, complemented her hair and rosy cheeks. She gave him a kind smile. Her tie hung lazily around her neck as she didn't care enough to tie it properly.
"Nah, s’ not, take a seat." He replied looking at her suspiciously. he sat on the edge of the chair facing her and she did the same.
"Im David"he held his hand out for her to shake hesitantly as if trying to figure out my intentions.
"Rose, Nice ta meet cha." she shook his hand, her pale scared hand interlocking with his for a brief moment. Her eyes locked with his doe brown ones and she couldn't help but notice his hair, it was so different compared to the others just further proving her thoughts that he indeed was diffrent.
Before they could further their conversation a creepy looking bald hologram lady appeared in the center of the room. Rose jumped in surprise at the unexpected blast of light.
"Good morning students. Take your respective seats please and put on your wreaths." Her voice was monotone. It was uncomfortable to look at the holograms face getting extremely close to the uncanny valley.
"Martinez, David. Ross, Rose. You are not in compliance with the dress code"
"S' at the cleaners" He spoke to the hologram giving the lady his excuse. Next to her she could hear a scoff coming from the blue haired boy next to her with a rather lame haircut.
"Do you have a spare?" The 'thing' asked only for david to give a snarky "yeah it’s there too." He rolled his eyes giving me a quick glance. Raising his eyebrows as if to say ‘ welcome to hell ‘ and she could definitely agree with him.
"Ross, Rose. Please make sure to completely tie your tie next time"the voice rang out. Rose jumped slightly hearing her name again come from the inhuman thing. there were some murmur's in the room. she looked around starting to feel a little self conscious. All of these corp kids started to make her feel sick. Gangs and scavs? No problem but this. This was entirely diffrent.
"Martinez you can get a uniform exemption form after class" he still looked annoyed like he would rather be literally anywhere else. This time I rose my eyebrows at him amused giving him a small smile. The same blue hair boy gave her a dirty look and she sent one right back. True blood corp scum, she couldn't help but contort her face in disgust, somewhat similar to the face she made after she saw herself in the uniform.
The hologram disappeared for a moment leaving the students to talk amongst themselves once again. The ugly boy who was sitting next to her made his way over with two of his friends.
"Gutter rats, your rats off the street. If i were you, i wouldn't show my face around here" he spat out now also addressing Rose. She wasn’t surprised that he could tell she was from the streets.
"Crazzzy. I know. But some of us are here to learn" he rolled his eyes. From his reaction she could guess this was a reoccurring thing
"With your old shitty tech? Don’t make me laugh!" She looked at david trying to see what he was talking about. ‘Oh, his wreath’ she then looked down hers was and by no means was hers new either, maybe just one model older than his. She felt her heart speed up as His eyes snapped to her wreath.
"Are you fucking kidding me, this school has really gone to the dogs now, just letting trash just roam the halls, First martinez and now you? Where have the standards gone?" Rose tightened her fist getting ready to get out of her link chair but david held his hand out a little
"S’ not worth it, there are cameras in here" he whispered. she stopped and the kid with the ugly mullet bowl cut combo laughed. Her nails dug into the skin of her Palm. Oh did she want to put him in his place.
"Is that fossiltech even compatible?" He said sticking his nose up.
"None of your fucking business bitch" she gritted her teeth hands shaking, before any more words could be exchanged the hologram reappeared,
"Now, let us begin todays lesson." At the same time everyone put on their wreaths and they started up lights starting to shine in everyones eyes. Everyone was now laying in a field but something felt wrong. She looked to right seeing a black glitching mass where david should be. Suddenly everyones headsets started to glitch and they were all kicked out of the brain dances with the wreaths sparking and lightly zapping the class
"It was fucking Martinez again!"
"Not Again!" Another classmate yelled. A shitstain of a ‘classmate’ glared over at david growling in frustration. The system was fried and we thankfully left early but she saw no sign of David as she left the building.
Rose was ecstatic about being able to leave the sterile looking school early, so happy in-fact she decided to eat out, by no means was night city street food good but it was still better than her shitty cooking. She knew this small ramen place near her apartment. she walked in taking off her uniform jacket tying it around her waist hiding the arasaka symbol out of shame. She had a white tank top on underneath, she stuffed the tie into her bag, she found the shop and sat down ordering. She sighed resting her head in the palm of her hand. The smell of ramen blocking out the disgusting smell of the alley just next to it. While she waited she trained her eyes on the small television hanging in the corner of the shop. Nothing really important or interesting was going on. The television suddenly changed to a live coverage of a wreck rather close by. On the bridge from the "nicer area" where the school was located into the main city where the ‘normal’ people like us lived.
"Holy shit that looks bad…" it was a horrible sight. Cars on fire, some flipped over and others torn to bits trauma team rushing in. She couldn’t finish eating after seeing that, no Corpo would even think about touching us ‘peasants’ . She made made her way home putting her headphones back around her neck It was starting to get dark and the last place you wanna be outside at night is where she lived she needed to be alert and on guard.
She made it home in time ever so excited to rip of the disgusting uniform. Pulling the blazer around her waist off on one foul swoop throwing it across the room. Pulling the skirt off kicking it off who knows where. The shoes ended up on two different sides of the apartment. She flopped down on her bed closing her eyes. the day exhausted her and she was just ready to sleep preferring not to think about what tomorrow has in store for tomorrow.
(Authors note) please give me constructive criticism and maybe some titles if you want. And let me know if this is something your interested in reading. Its gonna follow the plot line with a few minor changes and plot events are moved around a bit to make the reader being there more immersive and lore friendly.(Lucy is still here and no shes not gonna be a bitch LOL)

Added this on the Stardew Valley Amino as i'm looking for feedback from there as well.
So I wrote this as the first chapter of a stardew valley Sebastian fan fic I'm looking for constructive criticism💖 it's my first work and I want to know if people would actually read this or if I should turn it into a Y/N fanfic
As snow turned to rain the winter that seemed like it would last forever came to a long awaited end. The remaining snow on the ground had long turned to slush, leaving the busy street in front of JD's small downtown apartment flooded with dirty water. God only knows what else was in there. Normally the beginning of the spring got many excited, the cold frigid weather behind them, and the nicer more tolerable weather of spring begins to set in, However for J.D it meant going back to their shitty nine to five at Joja, When people hear that they think’ how bad can it be’ But they don't know the truth of it, Sitting in a cramped work space staring at a screen all day and the sounds of old keyboards clicking away in a soundless room, Limited 10 minute breaks if your lucky. J.D swore that this was a form of torture they heard about back in high school, when they learned about Greek tragedies in english class. Now picture that for years, They’d been working there since they got out of Highschool thinking it would be a nice job until they got off on their feet, and oh boy were they wrong.
J.D ran their hands through their knotted hair, Now that they had looked back they couldn't remember the last time they had brushed it. They cringed inwardly as they pulled on a particularly rough knot. J.D sat up swinging their legs over the side of their bed, looking around and getting a bearing on their surroundings, they wanted to do nothing more than lay back down and curl up in their blankets, However they needed to pay their ridiculously high rent somehow. J.D sighed, getting up, their feet hitting the cold fake hardwood of their apartment floor. On the way to the bathroom they grabbed what they needed such as a hair brush and their work clothes. The cold atmosphere of the bathroom made everything worse, the heating in the complex was out and the tile of the bathroom flooring was enough to send a chill down their spine, Quickly they stood on the bath matt and turned the on water knowing that it would need a while to warm up to a tolerable temperature, While they waited they went to brush their teeth but that idea went out the window once they caught a glance at themself in the mirror.
J.D ran their hands over their face, their dark circles under their eyes evident of their lack of sleep. They shook off the disgust they felt while looking in the mirror and grabbed their toothbrush, running it under warm water in hopes to warm up. They finished brushing their teeth and felt the water. Surprisingly it was actually pretty warm. J.D shed their pajamas that they have been wearing for weeks and let the water roll off of them. The cold left their body immediately, but something was missing. Music, they forgot their phone on the charger, Deciding that today was shitty enough as it is they grabbed a towel and stepped out of the shower. They dashed out of their bathroom grabbing their phone and running back, the room feeling colder now than ever. Once back in the safety of the warm shower they opened their playlist and clicked shuffle. Now the day was arguably a bit better having the music to distract themselves, however the distraction may have been a bit too effective as the Alarm from their phone went off.
J.D froze in place realizing that if they didnt get out now they would be late, the last thing they wanted to deal with was a lecture from their boss. Reluctantly they got out of the shower wrapping their body once again in the fluffy towel. J.D got ready at the speed of light, the possibility of being late hung over their head. It all happened in a blur now they were out the door and pulling out of the parking garage. The time spent in their car really helped them calm down, forgetting the dread that lurked in the back of their mind, knowing that they would be doing this seven days a week. Pulling up to their parking space that hole in their chest that was filled temporarily by music and ignorance quickly emptied the hollow feeling setting in once again. Turning the car off and putting their keys in their bag they got out locking their car and making their way inside.
The walls lining the way to the offices were nice, a huge change from the area where J.D worked. It was like a portal to a dystopian universe; the once colorful walls and decorated hallways turned into dull beige walls with cracks and spider webs in the corners of even the most traversed areas. They were greeted dully by a few of their co-workers and their boss seemed a bit too happy to see them as well. They brushed it off with a tight lipped smile taking their seat at the desk. J.D cringes as their back hits the backing of the chair, They could feel each and every spring digging into them. They made a mental note to buy a new chair seeing as they had the same one since they started working there and it was provided by the company so who knows how long it's been in use. Logging onto the computer the loading circle spun around and around on the black screen, for the second time today J.D caught a look at their appearance. Their un-dyed roots showing their natural blond color. They saw the thing they swore they would never become, a slave to capitalism, another corprate worker with no soul. The computer screen turned blue and the cursor turned into a spinning rainbow. They huffed in frustration, the first day back and ther computer had already blue screened. Pulling open their draw a letter had fallen out. They reached down, picking it up and reading through it. The eyes that had been lifeless for so long finally had a gleam of hope. Enclosed in the letter was the deed to their deceased grandfather's farm in the countryside. It was a rather long bus ride out there but it was leagues better than working here for the rest of their life.
Upon learning this information J.D had put in their two weeks almost immediately and with all the vacation days they had piled up they didn't need to work for it anyway. The next two weeks were full of packing and working out the contract with their landlord. That was the rough part of it, J.D never understood why people said packing was the most stressful thing about moving. To them it felt like the beginning of a brand new start, a clean slate to have the life they always dreamed about. Before they knew it they were off to the valley. The bus ride there was quiet leaving J.D to doze off having dreams of when they were little helping their grandfather on the farm, and now that he passed it was all thiers. They wondered what it looked like now, If anything had changed over time.
