Do not falter or grieve, for you will be superior (in victory) , if you are believers.

If Allah helps you, none can defeat you. But if He denies you help, then who else can help you? So in Allah let the believers put their trust.

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' "

There’s a saying that goes, “If you board the wrong train, try to get off at the first station, because the farther you go, the higher the cost of coming back”
And so is the train of sins and transgressions

Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near.

Those of you who ˹sinfully˺ divorce their wives by comparing them to their mothers ˹should know that˺ their wives are in no way their mothers. None can be their mothers except those who gave birth to them. What they say is certainly detestable and false. Yet Allah is truly Ever-Pardoning, All-Forgiving.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.’”

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allah's orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives to whom he wills without limit.

Narrated Abu Hurairah (r) : Allah's messenger (sw) said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil till I love him. Then I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection, I will protect him, and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him' "
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith no. 509)

When Allah wills for you to be full, He inspires you to eat by placing a feeling of emptiness in your stomach.
When He wills to quench your thirst, He places a dryness in your throat that moves you to drink.
When He wills to give you something else of this world or the next, He fills your heart with a strong feeling of fear or desire that moves you to dua.
We think we started the dua. How do you know it's not the other way around?
In all cases, it was the will of Allah that came first. Hence the ulama agree on the saying: "When Allah inspires you towards dua, then know that He wants to give you." Others added, "know that He wants to give you what you ask for, no matter how grand or far off it seems."
