this is a comic about living with hyperfixations and how they tie into those happy feelings that are just gone after they end, that is until the cycle starts again, however far away in the future that might be, like something u can borrow but you can never really make it stay

I settled on having it look like a relationship bc the similarities kinda haunt me, this has been on my mind a lot since I've had no fixations for 6 months and I'm now trying to adjust to living without, so I wanted to put it in art form :')

had this little idea, bc toga isn't dead and she scored herself a girlfriend that loves her weirdness <3

being totally honest i think thanks to toga being my fav and her last arc, i started paying more attention to uraraka (⁠ꏿ⁠﹏⁠ꏿ⁠;⁠)

Or to the part where Dabi's hatred of heroes wasn't caused by him being evil and his trauma wasn't just his dad not paying much attention to him, but his dad giving up his children to commit himself fully to being a hero and then failing to save his son's life when he had burned to death.

Why does the narrative end up validating THIS of all things

Tbh one of my favorite things about the little interactions between the guys in FFXV when you do link strikes is that these aren't the moves of people who have a lot of irl experience. These are the moves of four guys who spent hours training and goofing off in a training room. This is the first time they're successfully executing these moves against a real enemy thus why they do their little celebrations! The fist bumps, the high-fives, or pumping their fists in the air. It's like "holy shit that was so cool and it actually worked!"

i love redemption arc's. so i had this idea, where harumi is doing community service and lloyd pops up for a brief tea ✨

also i was so excited to draw harumi's hair - a combination of the "good" and the "villain" one.
