last night i sobbed to tick tick boom on netflix (side note: andrew garfield is a star i love him holy shit new obsession ig??) but anyways not the point. then i proceeded to listen to my spiderman no way home playlist and went to sleep and then i awoke to 30/90 playing at 9 AM goodmorning to me ❤️‍🔥

i've seen a lot of people excusing dean and his behavior throughout the series of gilmore girls and i am here to tell you why you are so wrong he was the worst bc i dislike him no no no thumbs down -9283918392731038293729922/10. in the earlier seasons he was okay but i only liked secretive from a far dean once he started being involved and they dated it was a wreck and i hate him and i always will and here is why this time i promise it starts here:

reason #1: he got mad over the basket tradition thingy even though rory told him that her and jess were just friends. he didn't trust her and trust is key in a good relationship

reason #2: when jess came over with food "from luke" when her mom was out of town at the spa, dean didn't trust her and paris had to barge in then and only then for him to believe her. again, the trust issues through the roof

reason #3: he was controlling and i didn't like that about him. controlling significant others make me upset especially dean as a whole

reason #4: he cheated on his wife. if he cheated on his wife in the later seasons, who knows what he could've done while dating rory? he could've cheated on her and she would've never known

reason #5: when he was upset and had his moments he left rory to explain with "he's had a bad day" and just make up excuses for him. his gf shouldn't have to do that all the time

reason #6: who even likes dean? i've never met a dean apologist and i'm not about to find one now (i hope)

reason #7: my girlfriend hates him and if she hates him i'll hate him too bc she's always right

i rest my case. now u know why i'm right and that's it

ways to show your s/o you care!! (little but affective things for people who don't know how to express their love for their partners but want to <33):

-send little messages of reminders!! like reminding them to drink water, reminding them that you love them, little stuff like that.

-say i love you and WRITE OUT THE WHOLE THING I REPEAT DO NOT SAY ILY OR I LOVE U SAY I LOVE YOU TYPE IT OUT JUST PUT EFFORT IN 🤬

-send them images and songs that remind u of them!! they'll appreciate it i promise <33

-tag them in tiktoks if they have tiktok!! even if it's silly things, if u think they'd like it or it reminds u of them then do it!! i promise they'll love it

-make them a playlist!! it could be anything, either songs that remind u of them, songs you recommend, love songs, for a special occasion like an anniversary, or just because!! they mean a lot i swear

-snapchat selfies that are silly!! it shows u care and are comfortable with them

-spontaneous calls and plans and stuff like that

-random oragami gifts like a flower bouquet, or oragami hearts :))

-GIVE THEM FLOWERS I PROMISE THEY'LL LOVE IT!!

-small gifts you think they'd love. like in spiderman how peter parker game mj the necklace, if u think they'd love it then do it.

this reminds me of my grandmother and grandpa ☹️☹️ they would sing and dance together and she'd cheer him on when he went out to perform for money and when he started his radio show (it went on for several years and i was actually announced on there when i was born!!) and i don't know the energy is the exact same
