Writing without much engagement is the exact reason most of us don’t frequently produce anymore. It’s sad.

Just For A Picture
Pairing: WandaNat x Reader
Words: 2.6k~
Summary: Based on the song Smile by Morgan Wallen
Warnings: grab your tissues my friends, depression, anxiety, all the sad feelings, I wrote this instead of sleeping and haven't proof read it, so there are probably many, many errors
A/N: I actually listened to the lyrics of this song for the first time, and they hurt my feelings. Jokes aside, idk if this is how he meant to write the song, but I heard it and thought, "that's exactly what it feels like to love someone with depression." The song got stuck in my head, and... well... this happened. It was actually really cathartic to write. I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you began getting ready for the party, they were surprised...
...pleasantly.
Natasha and Wanda share a small smile before continuing their own prep. Wary that a larger reaction may cause you to change your mind.
Yesterday, you had told them you would go to the party, but they weren’t sure if you would still feel the same today.
It had been so long since you had gone out with the team.
You’ve been able to keep up with training and missions for the most part, but everything else is just too much. Socializing, exercising, cooking, chores, bathing, eating, even getting out bed some days just seems impossible.
The last few months being the worst you’ve had in a while.
The team does all they can. Your girlfriends most of all. They try to take as much of the burden for you, but they know there are some parts of this they can’t take from you, no matter how much they wish they could. So, they do what they can and enjoy whatever moments they are able to share with you.
Which is why tonight means everything to them.
I can’t remember the last time you looked as happy as you did tonight.
The team has the entire place to themselves.
Carol is on Earth for a few days, and Tony had bought out the entire bar to celebrate.
Wanda and Natasha stand with you at a table to the side of the bar. Each of you have a drink in front of you, even if you hadn’t taken a single sip of yours.
They can tell your uncomfortable, but you’re trying.
For them, right now, that is enough.
“Thank you for coming out with us tonight,” Wanda wraps a careful arm around your waist.
Natasha reaches across the table to take one of your hands in yours, “we’re so proud of you.”
You give them a smile that doesn’t come close to reaching your eyes and bring your glass to your lips.
“What are you doing all the way over here?” Carol asks, coming up and wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
“Just a little quieter,” you answer her with a small smile.
The blonde steps away from the table pulling gently on your arm, “come take a picture with me?”
You give a quick glance to your girlfriends, before allowing yourself to be pulled away.
Your tipsy friend grabbed that bar tender, gave him her phone and pulled you over there with her.
Carol hands her phone to the guy behind the bar and pulls you close to your side.
You’re not particularly fond of pictures, but seeing as she is your best friend, you oblige her. You ready yourself to make your best fake smile.
As the bartender holds up the camera, Carol whispers a joke in your ear.
... and for the first time in a really long time, a genuine laugh bubbles up from your throat.
He counted to three, and baby I haven’t seen that side of you in forever.
From the table, your girlfriends watch as the two of you pose. They know you dislike photos, but they also know Carol, as your best friend, is capable of talking you into doing anything.
They watch as the bartender counts 1...2... You smile.
Most people would probably think nothing of it. They would see that smile and think you’re the happiest person alive.
But not the two of them. They know you. They know that smile. They know it's the mask you put on when that's the best you can do.
Just before he gets to 3, Carol says something they can’t hear, then the most beautiful sound cuts through the air.
A laugh.
Your laugh.
Your real laugh.
The bartender snaps the picture and captures you smiling ear to ear.
A smile they barely remember but still takes their breath away every time they see it.
Natasha and Wanda relish in the sight. The concern ever present in their chests lifting, if even for a second.
I hate it's the truth, but baby you never do when we’re alone together.
As the night goes on, the weight on Natasha and Wanda continues to lift as you become more yourself then you’ve been in months.
You don’t order your own meal, but you help both Wanda and Natasha finish their plates.
You even take up Yelena’s offer to taste her mac ‘n cheese. Normally the blonde would never share with anyone, but you having any kind of appetite is more than worth it for her.
You tell Carol about the new book series you’ve read since she was last on earth. She makes you pinky swear to let her borrow them before she has to leave again.
You playfully debate over the correct order to watch the Star Wars movies with the guys.
You roll your eyes when Clint and Kate let you win a game of darts.
It takes a couple drinks, but they are eventually able to get you on the dance floor for a bit.
When the dj slows the music down, Wanda and Natasha wrap their arms around you and sway softly to the music.
“Are you having a good time?” Wanda asks gently.
You nod your head with a smile. The alcohol has turned your brain a bit fuzzy. The thoughts that normally cloud your consciousness are quiet. You feel like you can relax. ... like you can breathe. It’s not weighing you down. It's not unbearable.
“Are there plans for tomorrow?” you ask quietly, resting your head on Natasha’s shoulder, feeling just a bit sleepy.
“Do you want plans?” Natasha answers your question with a question of her own.
You don’t answer verbally, only nodding.
“Ok,” you can hear the soft smile in Wanda’s voice, “what about brunch and maybe a walk in the park?”
“Does that sound good?” Natasha asks.
Again, all you give them is a nod, this time with a smile to accompany.
They share a look full of relief and hope.
Relief that you have this break from the demons in your head.
Hope that better times may finally be on the horizon.
It was good to see you smile.  Girl, you know it's been a while.
Natasha had woken first like normal. She slid out of bed, kissing both yours and Wanda’s heads without waking either of you.
Her regular morning run seemed so much lighter today, like she had an extra pep in her step.
She knows the culprit.
You.
You at the party last night.
You agreeing to go out with them today.
You finally coming back to them.
This wasn’t the first depressive episode you’ve had since the three of you had been together, but it was the longest.
They know this mental illness isn’t you.
Just a thief.
A thief that comes and takes your joy. Takes you from them for a time.
They know this. They know all they can do is love you in every way they can, until the thief releases you again.
They take advantage of those times. Cherish them, every second.
When she returns to the compound, Natasha pulls out her phone. She calls your favorite brunch spot, making a reservation for three at your favorite table by the window.
She ends the call just as she reaches the door to your shared room.
She opens the door as wide as the smile on her face.
She’s met with a look of despair on Wanda’s face. Her green eyes are glassy as her arm wrap around you. Your face is buried into Wanda’s chest. Your hands gripping her night shirt. Your shoulders shake tremble with the sobs you struggle to restrain.
Natasha’s smile falters as reality sinks in.
The thief had returned.
They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, but you ain’t said one since you woke up.
Wanda shushes you gently, rocking a bit, rubbing your back. Anything she can to bring you even the smallest bit of comfort.
Natasha lays behind you wrapping her arm around your waist, “no spoons?” She uses the same analogy you had when you explained your depression to them the first time.
You shake your head as a shaky breath claws its way down your throat.
“That’s ok,” she comforts, “I’ll go steal some for you.”
You chuckle lightly at her usual response. She knows it's not that simple. If only it were, you would never know a moment’s misery.
But just knowing she’s here, that they're both here is enough for now.
Silly me, thinking we could make it work, but can you blame me for getting my hopes up?
Wanda holds back tears as she holds you together in her arms.
The thoughts in your head are too loud for her to block out, and they tear her heart apart. The way you think about yourself.
She’d give anything to take them from you, especially because she can. Her powers give her that ability, but it would require her crossing a line she doesn’t have permission to cross. So she won’t.
But it take everything in her not to. Especially after last night. The glimpse. The reminder of life when you aren’t being weighed down by the demons in your head.
When you get to be happy again.
You know it took me right back to how it used to be.
Wanda and Natasha step into the kitchen. They didn’t want to leave you by yourself, but you assured them you were ok. You just wanted a minute alone, and they should go eat.
“Morning.” Steve raises his cup to say hello.
Natasha heads for the coffee maker, while Wanda goes to the fridge gathering a few ingredients for breakfast, “good morning.”
“Is Y/n coming down?” Yelena asks. Everyone’s eyes turn to Natasha and Wanda, hopeful.
Neither can bring themselves to voice it. They glance to each other for a moment, before Wanda gives them a tight-lipped smile followed by a shake of her head.
A collective sigh of disappointment settles over the group.
There’s a sweet sadness they feel together. They all miss her. She is their family. Without her, they feel like something is missing.
Last night, they felt complete.
“She did really good last night,” Clint says, sending Natasha a small supportive smile.
She nods, “she did.”
Baby seeing us like that, is still a little bittersweet.
“Hey, can I show you something?” Carol asks, sitting down while Wanda and Natasha began to eat their breakfast.
The pair nod and lean in as the blonde holds her phone, “I got a few pictures last night.”
As she flips through the pictures, tears gather in both Wanda and Natasha’s eyes.
First is the picture of you and Carol that the bartender took. Then a selfie of you, Carol and Pepper. A group shot of several of you around a table. You aiming a dart with Clint and Kate cheering you on behind you.
The last picture is of you, Wanda and Natasha on the dance floor during a slow dance. You’re standing in their arms. Natasha in front of you, Wanda behind. You’re laying your head on Natasha’s shoulder. Their heads are resting on yours.
They had no idea the picture was being taken, but you did.
You are looking right at the camera with the softest smile.
“I can send them to you if you’d like.”
Wanda quickly wipes away the tears that have fallen, “please.”
If someone were to see this, they’d think everything’s alright.
Wanda stares. She can’t stop.
Everyone else has finished breakfast and left the kitchen. The only one with her is Natasha who is cleaning the dishes.
Wanda stands at the counter holding her phone in her hands. The last photo from last night fills her screen.
There’s an ache too deep for words that settles in her chest.
The aching wish that she could keep you in that precise moment the photo was taken.
There on the dance floor, between the two of them, with that smile.
Completely at peace.
No raging thoughts. No anxieties. No feelings of inadequacy.
The longer Wanda stares the stronger the ache gets. Tears fill her eyes until she can’t keep them at bay. Her lips quiver, and her face collapses in pain.
“Hey, hey, hey,” Natasha quickly wraps both arms around Wanda from behind, “I know, I know.” She tries to provide comfort as her girlfriends cries.
Wanda drops her phone onto the counter and leans back into Natasha, “I just want to help her.”
“I know.”
They both look down to the photo.
“I miss her.”
Natasha holds her closer, “me too.”
At least we got a pretty little moment frozen in time.
They returned to the room a little while later. After they had put themselves back together well enough to be there how you needed them to be.
They find you still in bed, curled up on your side.
“Can I lay down with you?” Natasha asks, wanting to respect your space if you still need it, but you don’t. You just need them.
You nod, and she curls herself behind you again.
Wanda kneels beside the bed with a bowl in her hands, “I brought some fruit if you think you’re up for it.”
You shake your head and just reach for her hand instead.
She sets the bowl on the nightstand hoping for better luck later. When she lays in front of you, you curl into her chest as her fingers card through your hair.
“I’m sorry.”
“For not eating fruit?” Wanda questions.
“You never have to apologize for that,” Natasha kisses your head, “we know you can’t control your appetite-”
“No-” you interrupt, “for being like this.” They try to hush you, but you continue, “for being sad all the time, and not being able to do anything. I’m sorry you have to take care of me. I’m sorry you have to see me like this-”
“Shhhhh, what do you mean see you like this?” Wanda takes your face into both of her hands. She brushes away your tears with her thumbs, “can I show you how we see you?”
After a moment of looking into one another’s eyes, you nod.
She gives you a kiss on the forehead, and suddenly you’re not in your bedroom in the compound. You’re at the bar from last night, but not in your perspective. You’re seeing through Wanda’s eyes.
You watch as Carol drags you away for a picture you don’t want, but then you watch yourself laugh, truly laugh, and you can feel Wanda’s relief in that moment. You watch as Wanda shows you the rest of the night. You can feel the way she delights in your happiness. You watch your friends gravitate towards you. The way they look at you. The love they feel. The happiness to just have you with them.
Then you’re on the dancefloor. The vision fades away and you’re left with Wanda’s feelings and emotions of holding you like you are the most precious thing there is left in this world.
“We love you so much.”
It was good to see you smile.  Girl you know its been a while.  It was good to see you smile.
They lay in bed with you all day.
They hold you as you doze in and out of sleep.
You always sleep more on your worse days.
So, they hold you.
Praying that at least in your dreams, you get to smile again like you did last night.
Even if it was, just for a picture.
a/n: how did I do? I know it's been forever since I've posted anything new. Of course I come out with an angsty heavy hitter lol thank you for reading!

When They Remembered
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: WandaNat x Fem!Reader
Summary: Everyone forgot your birthday. But will they remember and make it up to you before it’s too late?
Warnings: Angst with a happy ending I promise
Word Count: 2.5k
A/N: lol so i know this wasn’t a request but i like REALLY wanted to write it. and its currently 4am here so idk if this is actually good or not because i’m very tired. but pls enjoy! shoutout to @wandaromanova for giving me motivation to write this lmao
*****************************************************************************************************
Birthdays were a big ordeal with the Avengers. The group truly was each other’s family, so they tended to go all out in expressing their love for one another on their respective birthdays. Wanda would cook a special birthday breakfast, Steve would decorate the compound, Tony would throw a huge birthday party, even Nat and Bucky (who typically were fairly closed-off and stoic) would join in with the festivities. Needless to say, the highlight of living in the compound was celebrating birthdays.

Wish We Could Be Like That
Part Three
Pairing: WandaNat x fem!Reader
Words: 7k~
Summary: Your relationship with Natasha and Wanda is a secret, but does it have to be?
Based on the song “Secret Love Song” by Little Mix
Warnings: this one does have a more explicit scene, bad words maybe?, Reader finally figures out how to talk about her feelings, bad writing
A/N: ****drum roll please**** HERE IT IS! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! Thank you for being patient with me. This really needs another proof read or two, but I didn’t want to keep you guys waiting any longer. Thank you for all of the love you have shown me and this series. I hope you enjoy!

Dream Sequence

Part One - Part Two - Part Three
Everyone files into the conference room for an urgent last minute meeting. No one has any idea why they are here. The alert sent by Fury calling for the meeting was vague. All that was included was the time and location.
The first person you notice is Wanda, of course. No matter where you are, your eyes always search for your girlfriends first. The red head sits with empty seats on either side of her. You know she’s done that on purpose. One for Nat and one for you.

It’s me again with another prompt idea 😅 Since today is April Fools Day (which I don’t like personally but I thought of an idea) I thought about an idea where Mina, Delia and Reader are in a relationship and the reader plans an April fools prank for her girlfriends but it backfires? Some angst, but definitely also fluff and definitely happy ending please ☺️
Cordelia Goode x Billie Dean Howard x Wilhemina Venable x Reader- Exile
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
second request: Hello, you are a great writer I enjoy your work lots! Could you maybe write a story with Cordelia x Wilhelmina x Billie x Reader where Reader is learning a new spell and she gets hurt or something along those lines? Thank you. You are great!
A/N: I'm sorry but I had to merge those two requests because it works so well. I've added Billie to the original request <3 I'm not the biggest fan of this, it feels a bit rushed but oh well
tw: cursing, violence, mention of blood, mention of death, angst + fluff

As the sun dances around the academy, illuminating the white rooms and hallways in beautiful oranges and yellows, you find yourself in front of Cordelia's office, a flicker of excitement coursing through your veins as you knock gently.
,,Come in'' Cordelia smiles, being able to tell which one of you is standing outside her office at any given time.
Walking inside and closing the door gently, you take in her features, only having seen her briefly this morning and around the academy today. Stunning as ever, her hair is slightly curled, the perfect amount of makeup, some blush coating her cheeks. As you continue staring, taking in her outfit including a beautiful flower dress, she smiles, seeing you so lost in your thoughts and daydreams.
,,Hey sweetheart'' she greets you, snapping you out of your thinking and pulling you back into the reality of standing in her office.
,,Hi Delia'' you beam a little as you approach her. ,,What can I do for you my sweet girl?'' she asks, glancing up from her computer and offering you to sit.
,,I have been thinking'' you begin, having the supreme's full attention as her eyes are on you. ,,Could you teach me a spell?'' you ask, your eyes locking with hers. Her eyebrows raise in surprise a little as you pretty much have perfected most spells by now, your speciality being potions however.
,,Sure what is it?'' she asks before you fiddle nervously with the hems of your sweater. ,,Transmutation?'' you ask, adding your best puppy eyes and smile in the hopes to convince your girlfriend and the supreme.
It only then dawns on her how surprisingly, you have never teleported before. It wasn't uncommon exactly but she completely forgot that you aren't able to do the spell, which she has taught many girls in their times at the academy. Cordelia hesitates, her mouth ajar before she asks ,,Why do you want to learn it sweetheart?''. You pause for a moment, not being able to tell her the real reason and knowing you need to be very convincing so she wouldn't catch on your lies.
,,I just thought it would be fun Delia, besides almost everyone here can do it'' you try, already being able to tell by her features she would deny you any moment.
Cordelia's eyebrows knit together in concern as she listens to your proposal. "Darling, teleportation magic is not something to be taken lightly," she cautions, her tone firm yet gentle. "It's a highly advanced spell, and if not performed correctly, it can have disastrous consequences. I'm not sure it's a good idea for you yet''
You pout slightly at her refusal, disappointed that she doesn't trust your abilities enough. "But Deeeelia, it would be so much fun!" you protest, trying to sway her with your enthusiasm. "I promise I'll be careful, and I'll practice under your supervision. Please, teach me how to teleport'' you practically beg at this point.
Cordelia shakes her head, her expression unwavering. "I'm sorry, darling, but I can't risk your safety," she insists, her voice soft but resolute. "I will teach you another time okay?'' she tries, meeting your eyes with a little head tilt.
Despite her refusal, you can't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. With a sigh, you nod in understanding, getting ready to leave her office, before she gives you a warm smile, feeling bad for denying you but your safety her biggest concern. Defeated and pouty you make your way downstairs, seeing if either of your girlfriends had returned home from working yet, wanting a little cheering up.
But to your disappointment, neither of them are home, Billie still working on her show and Wilhemina at work. As you glance out of the kitchen window, you can see some of Madison and the girls and so you make your way over with a determined glance, as an idea pops into your head.
,,Madison?'' you ask with a beaming smile, the blonde already rolling her eyes, knowing this means you want something from her, as she flicks her cigarette.
,,Could you teach me how to teleport?'' you ask, not wanting and needing to beat around the bush with her.
Her eyebrow raises, almost the same way Cordelia's had before, as she speaks ,,Can't you ask your girlfriend? the supreme?''.
Averting her gaze, you bite your lip ,,She said it's too dangerous'' you admit, the pout slowly returning to your features. ,,Well maybe then you should listen to her'' she states before a smirk creeps it's way to her features, seeing your desperation. ,,There's plenty of books in the greenhouse, just teach yourself it's not that hard'' she explains before shrugging her shoulders and walking off, throwing her cigarette to the floor.
And then it dawns on you how Madison was right, you often used several of the books in the greenhouse and library to teach yourself, especially for your potions. With a determined glance, you make your way to the greenhouse, hoping you could be alone to do your research and definitely hoping Cordelia wouldn't figure out your secret plan.
A while later you find yourself surrounded by the usual greenery, the earthy smell reminding you of home as the greenhouse was basically your second home at this point. You enjoyed spending time there, not only popping in and out whenever you needed something like the other witches. The greenhouse felt special to you, safe to you and as you stand there, you think back to your first kiss with your Delia in that exact spot, before eventually the two of you met your other two loves, medium to the stars and a certain purple obsessed redhead.
Flipping through the pages of a book about the seven wonders, you pretty much find it straight away, putting the book on the table and reading through the words written on the pages: ,,Salire per spatium. The ability to transport yourself instantly throughout physical space. Just pick a spot in the room, envision yourself there, and make it happen''
,,Make it happen'' you think to yourself with an eye roll as you continue reading, knowing it wasn't that easy as you had practiced that same thing a lot of times in the past, focusing your magic on somewhere you wanted to be and it never worked. As the hours pass on, you read some more and then some more until you have eventually read all of the books regarding or including transmutation and lost in your task, you completely missed that the sun had set a while ago.
,,Little one?'' Wilhemina's voice rings through the quiet greenhouse, causing you to jolt a little. ,,Hi Mina'' you smile, quickly putting the books back into the shelf before walking over to greet her. ,,Someone has been busy'' she states with a little chuckle before taking your hand and guiding you inside. ,,What have you been working on little one?'' she asks gently ,,Just some magic stuff you know, nothing special'' you mumble before you hear a chuckle escape the redheads throat. ,,Okay then little one.. dinner?'' she smirks before you nod in agreement and follow her into the dining room where your other two girlfriends wait for you.
,,Hello babydoll'' Billie greets you with a beaming smile, opening her arms. ,,Hi Billie'' you smile, happily letting her soft arms wrap around you before she plasters your face in kisses, causing you to giggle.
After being smothered by Billie, you take a seat next to the redhead, before Delia passes you a plate. ,,Thank you Delia'' you smile gratefully before the four of you fall into a comfortable conversation, Billie talking some about her work and the ghosts she had successfully chased away today, Wilhemina complaining about some new interns she is dealing with at work, that are apparently utterly clueless, causing you and Billie to chuckle a little as Cordelia listens with a raised eyebrow, amused by the redheads antics. ,,What about you babydoll?'' the medium to your left questions. ,,Let me repeat- just some magic stuff you know- nothing special'' Wilhemina mocks your earlier words in a playful way, causing you to smile as your cheeks blush a little, Billie bursting out in laughter.
,,What were you doing in the greenhouse for so long sweetheart?'' Cordelia asks curiously before you avert her gaze. ,,Working on my potions that's all'' you lie, knowing if she found out about you doing research about teleporting, she would scold you and probably be upset. She holds your gaze for a moment, being able to tell you aren't quite honest but she lets it slide, her workload causing her to forget already about your earlier conversation. ,,That was really good Dee'' you praise Cordelia's cooking, ignoring Wilhemina and Billie's eyes meeting and a smirk forming on their lips.
,,It really was Dee'' Billie Dean now playfully mocks before muttering ,,But somehow I'm still hungry... how about you Ms Venable?'' and the redhead simply continues smirking, Cordelia shaking her head in a playful way before your cheeks blush, slowly watching Billie get up, her fingers motioning you to follow her upstairs which of course you comply.
----
It has been two days since you have been researching and trying to learn transmutation. Despite reading every book, asking some of the witches for help, it wasn't working and with each passing second, each failed attempt, the frustration settles in. You had always been stubborn, wanting to make whatever you put into your head possible but it had always been a little tricky with your magic. Standing in the greenhouse, the sun had again set a while ago, your frustration and emotions bubble out of you, causing you to throw the books around the room in anger and frustration. Sighing deeply, you stand there for a second, blinking back some tears, the whole idea starting innocently enough but now you wanted to know, needed to do be able to do it, not to prove it to anyone other than you.
,,Babydoll?'' Billie's voice rings through the quiet greenhouse and with one quick motion you wipe the angry tears from your eyes. The blonde glances around the greenhouse for a second, before walking over, her heels echoing with each step. ,,Are you okay?'' she asks as she approaches, her features and voice laced with concern. You simply nod, not wanting to talk to her about it. The blonde takes your hands into hers before gently whispering ,,Tell me honey'' as she meets your eyes.
Silence follows, only increasing her worry for you before she speaks again ,,Come on my sweet girl, you have been hiding in here for days, what's bothering you?'' she asks so gently and filled with adoration and worry, you just couldn't not tell her. And so with a heavy sigh you begin to speak, filling her in how you have wanted to learn a new spell, how you had asked Delia but she said no, possibly leaving the part out where she said it was too dangerous, telling Billie how you had read every book, tried everything but it wasn't working. The medium frowns a little, wishing she could help you.
,,Why don't you try again for me?'' she tries but you shake your head in defeat ,,It won't work Billie'' you sigh but she encourages you. ,,Come on I believe in you sweet girl''. She positions herself behind you, placing her hands gently on your shoulders, giving you an encouraging pat before whispering ,,You can do it, do what you told me, think about somewhere and close your eyes''. Nodding, you do as you are told, fixing your mind on another point in the greenhouse, inhaling before exhaling deeply and closing your eyes.
Suddenly you disappear right in front of the medium, causing her breath to hitch a little. Panic fills her features before she turns around finding you there with a shocked expression. ,,You did it babydoll'' she beams and squeals at the same time, taking you into her arms. ,,How was that?'' she asks, filled with genuine excitement. ,,A-amazing'' you answer, taken back a little by the fact it actually worked. ,,Told you you could do it'' she states proudly, cupping your cheeks. ,,Personally I think that was due to my talents and the white light spirit of course'' she chuckles and you can't help but playfully roll your eyes. ,,Sure Billie'' you smile before she pulls you into a proud hug.
,,Billie?'' you ask, your voice sounding a little more serious. ,,Can this stay between us for now?'' you ask innocently, fluttering your eyelashes to add to your desired response. ,,I just wanted to surprise the other two'' you admit with puppy eyes. ,,You sure this has nothing to do with April fools coming up?'' the medium questions with a raised eyebrow. You gulp before she smiles ,,Sure babydoll, only if you promise me to be careful for me?'' and you nod seriously at her statement. ,,Promise''.
----
Two weeks pass, and with each passing day, you feel yourself growing more confident in your abilities. You practice in secret, hiding your skills until you feel ready to attempt the spell on your own. Finally, the morning of April Fools' Day arrives, and you're filled with nervous excitement as you prepare to execute the prank that started this whole thing to begin with.
With a deep breath, you focus your energy, channeling the magic within you as you visualize Cordelia's office in your mind. You utter the incantation under your breath, as you cast the spell with all the determination you possess.
Suddenly, the world around you blurs and shifts, and before you know it, you find yourself standing in Cordelia's office, a triumphant grin spreading across your face.
Cordelia looks up from her desk, her eyes widening in surprise as she takes in your sudden appearance. "What in the world?" she exclaims, momentarily startled before breaking into a delighted laugh. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Someone's been practicing behind my back, haven't they?"
You beam proudly at her, feeling a rush of exhilaration at the success of your prank. "Surprise!" you exclaim, unable to contain your excitement. "Happy April Fools' Day, Cordelia!" you chant, meeting the supremes eyes. Despite her initial shock, Cordelia's face softens into a fond smile as she approaches you, wrapping you in a warm hug. "Well done, darling," she praises, her eyes shining with pride.
,,So this is why you wanted to learn how to teleport darling?'' she questions with a raised eyebrow and you simply avert her gaze, your cheeks coating in red a little. ,,Possibly?'' you whisper, hoping she wouldn't be too upset with you. ,,Happy now?'' she asks, her eyebrow still raised.
,,Definitely but wait til you see me prank Mina and Billie, they are in the garden'' you smirk, that same mischievous smile playing on your features. ,,Sweetheart wait'' she urges, despite the pride she is feeling, still worried about how you ended up learning the spell and wanting to make sure you could do so safely. As you focus your memory on the gardens, you disappear right in front of your girlfriends face, Cordelia rolling her eyes a little at your excitement, before making her way downstairs to watch your pranks on the other two.
Billie Dean stands with Madison and the girls, having a cigarette and out of nowhere you appear behind them ,,Boo'' you whisper, causing the medium to jolt and almost drop her cigarette to the floor. ,,Jesus'' she huffs, smirking a little though as she watches Wilhemina a few feet away from her, seeing as you are already getting ready for your next round. Focusing on the redhead you close your eyes.
,,Y/N'' an excruciating scream follows, Cordelia's heart stopping in her chest as she is almost downstairs. Somehow you must have calculated your next steps wrong, focusing on the black iron fence rather than the spot behind your girlfriend. Wilhemina watches in horror as your lifeless body hangs in the fence, Billie dropping her cigarette, already running over, her heels angrily tapping against the ground.
,,I think I've seen this film before'' Madison mutters to Zoe, remembering a similar incident years ago. Zoe shakes her head, rolling her eyes before running over to you, Cordelia equally on her way.
,,What the hell happened?'' Wilhemina's voice rings through the air, Billie shaking uncontrollably ,,Teleporting, she's been learning to teleport, she must have done it wrong'' the medium states, with shaking hands before at last the supreme joins them, her face filled with horror and shock.
,,Girls get inside now'' the supreme scolds, not wanting any of them to see this. With shaky hands she reaches for you, with a flick of her wrist having the four of you in the greenhouse, your body now on the table. Blood streams everywhere, down the table, Cordelia's shaky hands. Wilhemina watches in terror at your state, not having the smallest clue what just happened. ,,I feel so bad, this is all my fault'' Billie cries, considering she is the one that encouraged you.
Wilhemina carefully scans the blondes features, confusion written across her face. ,,She's been wanting to learn it so bad and then-'' the medium begins before her sobbing betrays her. ,,Then what?'' Wilhemina questions, trying to stay calm. ,,She couldn't do it and I helped her practice'' the medium admits under her girlfriends gazes. ,,You what?!'' the supreme now speaks, her voice laced with anger, despite feeling guilty herself, knowing she could have taught you better and safer.
,,You can fix this right?'' Wilhemina speaks softly, trying to keep calm despite her inner turmoil. Cordelia simply nods, with careful movements hovering her hands over your bleeding body. Gently her face moves closer to you before she closes her eyes and carefully blows on your face, quite literally putting some life back into you.
Silence follows, their hearts beating with fear over you before you choke on the blood that had been building up inside your mouth. Billie gasps both with relief but also shock seeing the blood stream from your mouth. ,,Little one?'' Wilhemina whispers, carefully moving closer to you. Cordelia is quick to fetch a cloth and wipe your mouth, softly and gently guiding you through this and finding your breathing again ,,That's it sweetheart, slow breaths for me'' she instructs.
Finally you open your eyes, seeing your three girlfriends, Wilhemina by your side her face conflicted with pain and relief, Billie's face filled with gratitude and guilt and Cordelia's face simply filled with soft adoration and love for you. Confusion washes over you, not understanding or recalling what had happened. ,,Wha-?'' you try to speak but your voice quickly betrays you, your throat and body in a soaring pain.
,,No sweetie, don't try to talk yet, you need rest'' Cordelia coos, cupping your cheeks gently. With a gentle and swift motion your blonde girlfriend has you in her arms, carrying you safe and soundly through the academy towards your bedroom. Billie and Wilhemina follow closely behind, not a word spoken between the two of them. After finally making it back to the bedroom, the supreme lays you on the bed gently, before leaving to the bathroom for a second. As you lay there, you still cannot recall what happened since teleporting behind Billie Dean.
The pain pierces through your body, every bone hurting, feeling as if your bruised everywhere. Not having the strength to actually observe your body or think, let alone talk, you lay there eyes closed and taking deep breaths. Within seconds Wilhemina and Billie are by your side, as you feel a gentle hand stroke your cheek assuming it's Mina's and another soft but manicured hand holding onto yours and squeezing it a little. Shortly after Cordelia finds you again, with a fresh set of clothes and a wet cloth to clean you.
The next minutes are painful as they help rid your body of the reminder your foolishness had left on it. ,,It's okay sweetie, you are doing so well'' Cordelia coos, as she puts you in some clean clothes, discarding of your blood stained ones. ,,You rest now my sweet girl'' she reminds you before her hands hover over your body once again, this time putting you to sleep, to gently guide you to some rest and letting your body recover from the events.
As soon as you are finally asleep, a long sigh falls from their lips, relieved to see you okay. ,,Delia I-'' Billie speaks softly, meeting her lovers gazes. ,,Not in here'' the blonde responds, her voice neutral given the circumstances. And so the three of them gently step away from the bed, Cordelia leading them to her office next door, Wilhemina glancing at you one last time before gently closing the door. As they walk through the hallway, the academy is silent, only the sound of cane taps and heels to be heard as they retreat to the privacy of the supremes office.
,,Dee I'm so sorry'' Billie apologies under tears, as Cordelia walks to her desk, taking a seat and rubbing her temples in frustration. ,,Can someone fill me in?'' Wilhemina's voice rings through the bedroom, before the blondes eyes meet her own. ,,Y/N has been wanting to learn teleportation, that's why she's been in the greenhouse so much, I found her a while ago and she told me she couldn't do it, I encouraged her and she managed to do it'' the medium admits, her guilty gaze falling on the supreme. ,,I think she wanted to learn it to prank us today, but I also think she got frustrated not being able to do it'' Billie explains, her eyes pleading with Cordelia's. There is a long silence, Wilhemina letting the words sink in, feeling frustrated with you but at the same time understanding all to well about stubbornness and wanting to be better.
,,It's my fault Billie not yours'' Cordelia finally speaks, some tears lingering in her brown eyes. ,,She asked me for help and I turned her down'' she admits ,,I thought it was too dangerous and I was busy'' she adds, a tear streaming down her features. Billie walks over to Cordelia before kneeling in front of her ,,She's fine now honey, thanks to you'' Billie thanks her, reaching out to cup her cheek before Cordelia melts into her touch, the medium wiping her tears. Wilhemina remains silent, not necessarily finding the right words, not mad at either one of them, understanding Cordelia's reasoning and not blaming Billie in the slightest.
Silence stretches over the room, a long one as the three of them try and find peace with what they had witnessed, images of your body still lingering on their minds. Meanwhile you had woken up with a gasp, a dream reminding you of the events that unfolded earlier today, your body still taken back by the pain. As you glance around the room you can't find either of them and with a painful gasp you make your way to your girlfriends, the guilt already consuming you and wanting to apologise. It takes you several minutes, leaning on the walls to finally get to Cordelia's office, despite it only being one door away.
With all the strength within you, you push the door open, finding your girlfriends, Delia and Billie by the supremes desk, Wilhemina closeby, the three of them lost in thoughts. ,,Sweetheart?'' Cordelia speaks, seeing your pained state and not expecting you to be awake yet. ,,Are you okay?'' Billie questions, already on her way over to you. ,,I- I- teleported into a fence'' you state, guilt consuming you ,,I'm so so sorry'' you apologise, feeling bad for lying, for not listening and for making them watch.
Cordelia's features soften, seeing the genuine guilt and not feeling anger towards you, knowing she should have just helped you to begin with. ,,You sure did babydoll'' Billie chuckles a little, taking you into her arms, wanting to lighten the mood a little. Cordelia is quick on her feet, before taking your hand. ,,Come on, you need rest sweetheart'' she argues, guiding you gently back to bed. ,,Delia I'm sorry'' you plead with her as she tucks you in. She sits beside you before explaining ,,I'm sorry darling for not helping you, you did a great job teaching yourself and this kinda thing can happen, I'm just glad you're okay''. You nod at her statement, tears swelling in your eyes.
,,Can we agree on no teleporting for a while?'' Billie Dean's voice fills the air as she stands behind the supreme. ,,Promise'' you whisper a little shy, feeling embarrassed about the whole thing. ,,You must be exhausted babydoll'' Billie states, noticing your state ,,Let me get you some water'' she coos, before Cordelia looks at you ,,I'm just going to fill in the girls that you are okay, alright? I'll be right back sweetie'' she promises before pressing a kiss to your forehead.
After they leave silence follows, Wilhemina simply standing by the bed, averting your gaze. Your heart pounds guiltily in your chest, before you break the silence. ,,Mina I'm sorry'' you whisper, barely audible but she picks it up. Her gaze meets yours, her features softening at seeing your genuine guilt and trembling state. With quiet steps she makes her way towards you, before sitting beside you. ,,It's okay little one'' she coos, finding your hand under the blanket Cordelia had tugged you in. ,,Just-'' she begins to speak but stops herself, her emotions getting ahold of the redhead. ,,Just don't ever do that again'' she speaks, tears lingering in her brown eyes. ,,I can't lose you little one'' she admits, causing your eyes to fill with tears.
,,I promise Mina'' you whisper, tears flowing freely from your eyes, but your Mina is quick to catch them, before pulling you onto her lap. ,,Come here little one'' she coos, her chin resting on your head as she holds you close. ,,You're okay little one, all safe and sound'' she coos before pressing a gentle kiss to your head.

Heated Hands (Part 1)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yours and Wanda's great love story was almost inevitable...
Carol had left you behind, having apparently cleared out the apartment of all of her belongings, and ghosting everyone around—subsequently breaking your heart into a million pieces.
"Where's Wanda?" You ask, desperately wanting to apologize to your best friend for making her cry last night, when you know damn well she'd never hurt you.
You thought the same thing about Carol... Wanda's different though...
———
"She's upstairs helping Yelena prepare a room for you."
"I have an apartment Natasha." You deadpan.
"That's under construction." She results to pointing out the obvious to you.
"Plus, there's no way in hell we are leaving you unprotected when you're in this state." She replies, while crazily motioning to your body.
"It's a couple of bruises and a leg and arm cast Natasha."
"Plus a multitude of bruised organs, and fractured ribs. I'm not leaving you defenseless with the amount of enemies we've all piled up over our years." She replies in a warning tone, and you sigh in defeat.
"Okay mom...." You grumble with a playful eye roll.
She smirks at your childish behavior, then moves you—against your protests, into a wheelchair to take you upstairs.
"Interesting, I see I'm between you, and Lena, and look, Wands is across the hall."
"How else would we get to you if you need help." Yelena immediately remarks, as she moves to help you into the bed, but you swiftly slap her hands away.
You instantly fall forward, but Wanda's quick to catch you with her powers, but your face betrays you and freezes up at the contact. As soon as Natasha grasps you, Wanda releases and goes to run out of the room.
"Maximoff!" You shout, using your 'don't move a muscle' tone, and she turns to you with a dejected smile.
"Cyka's, give us the room." You command, as your fellow assassins stare at you in faux offense and with a reluctancy to leave.
"You're right next door, calm down." You laugh out.
Wanda enters your room, but stops in the doorway, while Natasha and Yelena stand out in the hallway staring in.
"Close the door please." You gently ask.
"Wait, we can't—."Natasha tries to say something as she approaches the shutting door.
"Lock it too." You quickly add, and she does as you ask, then leans against the door as she stares at you with a pained expression.
"Maxi, come here." You plead, patting at the spot beside you, and she takes cautious steps your way, releasing a yelp as you pull her down beside you.
"I'm sorry for —." You both start to say at the same time.
"Y/N/N, what could you possibly have to be sorry for? I sometimes forget that my powers..."
"Wands, I'm sorry because I made you cry, and feel bad about something you already have so much anxiety over." You interrupt her while gently grabbing her hands and linking your fingers with hers, watching as a stray tear runs down her cheek.
"Your hands being surrounded with red energy when your angry, is the same as if my hands were to ball into fists. It's unfair to treat your natural reaction as if it's inherently dangerous. I'm not afraid of you if that's what you think, I promise that I trust you completely..." You say, trying your hardest to reassure the Sokovian, while meaning every word.
"It's just, I guess it's my bodies natural response to freeze up at the sight of powers right now. I was so scared Wands, I tried to calm her down, but she was just so angry... I-I...." You try to explain but find yourself to be a stuttering mess.
Wanda immediately unlinks her right hand from yours, then reaches it up to cup your cheek. Stroking gently, as you lean into her soft touch, and she smiles at your response.
"I know Y/N/N... I saw it all, she wasn't being forthcoming so I got to the bottom of it myself. I'm sorry for invading your privacy, but I could just tell she wasn't telling us the whole story. Seeing you like that was absolutely heartbreaking for me; I love you so much, and would do just about anything to protect you." She gently relays, as she strokes her thumb across your cheek.
"I'm sorry you had to see that, it's not fair for her to make the accusations that she did... You've never done a thing to overstep any boundaries... She's just been so jealous for the last year, and I don't know where it's come from..."
"Hey, don't you worry about me darling, I'm okay as long as you're okay. So, are you?"
"I'm always okay when you're here Maxi." You reply with a wide smile, she returns the gesture, then you lower your head to her shoulder.
The room falls into a comfortable silence, Wanda lays her head atop of yours, while she mindlessly strokes her thumb across your knuckles in an attempt to calm you.
"Can you hold me?" You shyly whisper into the silence, feeling incredibly vulnerable, and in desperate need of some comfort.
"Of course..." She whispers, as she pulls away from you, and lays down with her arms open wide.
You cautiously scoot into her embrace, laying your cheek on her right shoulder, and lifting your casted arm over her abdomen.
"Is this okay? I don't want to hurt you." You sleepily murmur, and Wanda uses her left hand to scratch at your scalp.
"You could never hurt me Y/N/N, now rest."
Your eyes were already closed, sleep seemingly consuming you rather quickly, most likely a side effect of the meds that you are on.
"I love you sweet girl, if and when you're ready to love again, I'll be right here waiting..." She whispers out to your "sleeping" form, as she closes her eyes and lets your warmth lull her to sleep. You fall asleep with a warm feeling in your chest, and a faint smile upon your lips.
Natasha and Yelena grew restless in the hall, and at the sound of silence their anxiety peaked, so they picked the lock to your door. Natasha was first to see the sight of you peacefully sleeping, cuddled into Wanda; she genuinely smiled, having known all about Wanda's not so secret—pure love for you. Yelena was far more skeptical though, simply opting to keep a steadfast eye on Wanda, prepared to sniff out all of her intentions.
Months had honestly flown by in the blink of an eye—nine to be exact—and you'd honestly found yourself breathing a lot easier.
Though your apartment has been ready for the better part of four months, you'd decided to stay in the compound. Being closer to your sisters, and Wanda made you feel the most at ease. You'd also not entered the place since the incident, as you get a sinking feeling every time you even consider it.
Anytime something had been needed, Natasha or Yelena would collect it. Natasha and Yelena have urged you to break out of the lease, but the idea of that taunts you as well. Nothing feels right, Carol and you never even officially broke up, the closure you need is so far out of reach... You know for a fact that you want to move on, you just need to understand why...
Why it was so easy for her to just walk away, after the massive displays of jealousy that led you to where you are now? What even inspired the jealousy to begin with?
"Get up!" Natasha shouts at you, haphazardly throwing an outfit on top of the duvet that covers your body.
"We're not having you waste money on a place you won't stay in, so we're going to go there together to help you clean it out." Yelena clarifies why there's a sudden need for you to be awake now.
"Guys.. I don't think I can do that, please..." You plead, but it falls on deaf ears, as your sister's determination never leaves their eyes.
"Malen'kiy pauk, we've been up against tyrants, I promise you that you can do this. You're so much stronger than you think." Natasha relays, with a much softer tone as she sits besides you in your bed.
"Yeah, you got this Y/N/N. We'll be there every step of the way. This is a good step forward, yeah?" Yelena further adds.
"Maybe when we get back, you can finally go to dinner with witchy..." Natasha suggests, smirking your way as she sees you blushing.
"I'm not ready..." You whimper out, honestly wanting nothing more than to take that leap, but feeling as if something's caging you in, vehemently preventing you from being able to.
"What do you need?" Yelena gingerly asks you.
"A reason why..."
"She's Medusa Y/N, that's why... Sucks your soul from your body and turns you to stone." Yelena grumbles.
"But she wasn't always like that though Lena... She was my everything, she literally held my heart in the palm of her hands, and then out of nowhere she was just someone new. Two years together and she vanishes as if what we had meant nothing, as if I was nothing to her."
"Look at me!! Carol, she's gone, and you might never get the answers you wanted from her. However, going to the apartment might give you the edge you need to move on. So, as I said, get up!" Natasha commands, clapping her hands together as she stands, telling you she's not letting this go.
Reluctantly, you change into the sweatsuit your sister threw at you, and get out of the bed.
"Fine... I'll try, but I demand ice cream and cuddles for the torment!" You grumble, and your sisters laugh and nod in agreement to your "harsh" demands.
As you go to leave, you notice Wanda's sat on the couch, with her legs tucked under her body, in an oversized sweatshirt. Her face is calm, something you hardly get to see as Avengers, as she reads the book you'd gifted her last week. Reminding you of the many recent nights she'd spent reading to you, just so you could fall asleep.
Wanda had offered to spend the night with you, and you were quick to take her up on the offer, as your sisters had both been sent on a mission. She saw the pure panic on your face when your sisters begrudgingly had to leave you, and she knew you hadn't wanted to sleep alone just yet—so she'd make sure you didn't have to.
"Wands, what are you doing?" You asked, as you saw her huddled under a blanket on your windowsill couch, reading In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust
"Reading this chapter of my book before I go to bed, I can put it down if the light bothersome?"
"No, why aren't you in the bed? It's much comfier than the tiny windowsill couch."
"I didn't want to assume." She shyly replies, and it warms your heart that she's so incredibly patient with you.
"You're always welcome here." You beam, patting the spot beside you, and she gingerly makes her way over to slide in.
She smiled as you wiggled your way into her arms, so she made it easier as she secured her right arm around you, before continuing to hold her book up.
"Wands... Can you read to me?" You sleepily mumble, having found immense comfort in her embrace, and finding her voice tends to have the same affect.
"Of course darling..." She coos, as she instinctually kisses the crown of your head, and begins to read to you from where she'd just left off.
"We believe that we can change the things around us in accordance with our desires—we believe it because otherwise we can see no favourable outcome. We do not think of the outcome which generally comes to pass and is also favourable: we do not succeed in changing things in accordance with our desires, but gradually our desires change. The situation that we hoped to change because it was intolerable becomes unimportant to us. We have failed to surmount the obstacle, as we were absolutely determined to do, but life has taken us round it, led us beyond it, and then if we turn round to gaze into the distance of the past, we can barely see it, so imperceptible has it become."
As she'd gone to flip the page to continue, she'd heard your breath evening out and fading into the gentlest of snores. She smiled down at you, then with the flick of her wrist her now bookmarked book was behind you on the table, and the lights were off. You both fell into nightmare free slumber, the first of many similar nights that her embrace brought you.
In your flashback inspired daze you'd failed to see the witch had caught on to your staring, and had actually found herself right in front of you. Her gentle tap on your shoulder brings you back to reality, and you feel your cheeks heating up at the thought of being caught.
"Darling, where are you headed off to?" She questions, deciding not to tease you, and instead to find out why you look ready to leave.
"Well, cyka one, and cyka two are forcing me to face my demons and return to my place to collect my belongings." You sigh out, with an uncomfortable expression automatically taking place on your face.
"Hey! We heard that." You vaguely hear your blonde sister shout from the kitchen, where they're collecting "road trip" snacks for the ten minute drive.
"Oh, I can come too if you want..." She offers, a gentle smile on her face, and two grounding hands upon your shoulders.
"No thanks, I don't need you to see me like that even more... A mess that is" You chuckle out, trying to make light of the situation, but her gaze just saddens further.
"I'll take any part you have to offer Y/N/N, the good, the bad, and even the ugly." She intimately whispers, as she strong arms you into a tight hug, and you cling to her, while working to hold back the tears.
"I'll see you when you get back then." She promises, as she pulls back and slightly shakes your shoulders.
Upon arriving at the apartments, your heart rate steadily climbs, skipping a beat every now and then as you glance at the familiar surroundings, more so as your eyes drift to the field. Natasha's driving, and as soon as she notices your mood swap, she reaches her hand out to you. You gladly take it into yours and lean against the seat with your eyes tightly closed.
As soon as she parks, Yelena's at your door, linking her arm with yours as she walks you through the complex blocks. Once you reach the 200's block, you take a steadying breath before ascending to your floor. Natasha's ahead of you, while Yelena's behind with a hand firmly against your back for comfort.
"You ready, malen'kiy pauk?" Natasha asks with a squeeze to your hand and a gentle smile, and you shakily nod, realizing this is as ready as you'll probably ever be.
Once you enter a wave of emotions comes crashing over you all at once, the primary one being immense sadness, secondary only to the residual fear. The sight of the differing shades of paint makes your body shiver at the reminder of that fateful night. The next thing you notice is that your sisters had clearly already cleaned up and packed everything for you. They simply brought you here, because they wanted to walk you through letting go, and at that thought you collapse to the floor in a fit of sobs.
The two watch you crumble to the floor, allowing you a moment to just scream it out, before they crowd you with their unwavering love and support.
"Let it out malyshka, we got you..." Natasha coos, as she takes her place behind you, pulling you directly against her.
Yelena makes her presence known in front of you, as she kneels down and holds out a cold water bottle.
"You'll never be alone Y/N/N, as long as we're still breathing, we'll be right by your side." Yelena tearily relays, clearly getting emotional at the mere sight of you. She reaches out to cup your cheeks, lightly squishing them as if you were a tiny baby, and you freely giggle at the action.
The sounds of your giggles calms your fellow assassin sisters down, and puts their hearts and mind at ease... They did the right thing bringing you here—you're going to be okay...
As Yelena takes the last box to the car, you wander off into the room, that once held all of your happiness and you sigh in relief as you close the door for the final time.
"Are you coming?! Yelena's apparently starving!" Natasha shouts from the front door, and you bound towards her and trap her in a bear hug.
"Thank you Natty..." You mumble into her leather jacket clad shoulder and she tightens her hold on you.
"I got you always malysh, but I can't protect you from a hangry Lena, so let's go."
You laugh boisterously against her at the honest notion, and she smiles widely at your response, continuing to do so as you drag her down the stairs. As you entered the car for the ride home, your body felt infinitely lighter, almost as if you were breathing for the first time. Excitement flooded your body at prospect of starting over, and your heart fluttered at the thought of who you’d like to do that with.
Once you'd arrived back at the compound, you were met with a heavenly smell, that had you immediately gravitating towards the kitchen. You saw Wanda at the stove with her back turned to you, humming to a tune you vaguely recognize, as she was meticulously stirring the food before her.
"Is that paprikash?" You shriek, she jumps at the startling, and then she giggles over the pot.
"Yes darling girl, I thought you could use a comfort meal after your day away." She gently relays, and you can feel as the butterflies erupt.
"Thank you Wands." You shyly reply, as you overlook the bowl being slid your way in favor of pulling her into a hug.
"No need to thank me."
"Well that's just not true..." You reply, and Wanda stiffens as she feels her shirt slightly dampen.
"Hey, what's the matter?!"She frantically asks, while trying to pull back, but your grip is incredibly tight around her.
"Ever heard of happy tears Maxi?" You laugh out, and squeeze her that much tighter.
She chuckles, and reciprocates the embrace.
"I'm just grateful is all, for your unwavering love, and support. You've been my rock throughout this whole time, and in honesty for the times prior as well. Your never ending patience with me as I've navigated through my grief, has been nothing short of perfect. You're as perfect as they come Wands..."
"You should never have to thank someone for such simple acts of kindness, Y/N/N, that's the absolute bare minimum. You're more than worthy of having someone show you patience, kindness, and unconditional love. I'm far from perfect, but for you I try, because you deserve the world sweet girl..." She tearily relays, then quickly pulls herself together once she sees the onlookers over your shoulder.
"Now, let's eat!" She commands, pulling back from your loosened embrace.
"Thank God, I'm starving, I thought this display of emotions would never end." Yelena grumbles—having clearly reached hangry, then groans as Natasha elbows her in the ribs.
"Yelena, I made a pot of mac and cheese for you, since that's your preference..." Wanda remarks with a simple hand wave, never really removing her gaze from your face, missing the way Yelena’s lights up.
You look calmer, leading her to think you'd finally had a moment of closure today. Once she notices Natasha's all to knowing smirk, she moves to collect her and Natasha a bowl of the food as well.
Yelena took the whole pot to the counter, where she made sure to sit across from you two, with an ever present, yet subtle glare. Deep down she loves the witch, for the most part she could trust her with her own life, but she'll be damned if she lets anyone else hurt you like Carol did.
Natasha watches all of you in amusement; as you are chowing down obliviously, Wanda's staring at you adoringly, and Yelena's glum aura didn't even need observing to be felt. Natasha's just as fierce in protecting your heart, but she'd always been a fan of Wanda's. She couldn't think of anyone more deserving of love than the witch, well besides you of course. She's been working tirelessly for months to push you into her painfully obvious open arms.
"Y/N!!!! Lena, Maria and I have to go on a mission—annoyingly so, I was supposed to have an anniversary dinner tonight with Maria but..."
"I'm sorry Natty, I can reschedule it for you."
"Nonsense, the reservations were insanely difficult to get, so I called and had our names replaced with yours and Wanda's." She slyly states, with an obvious smirk upon her face.
"Natasha..." You warningly groan, but she just innocently shrugs her shoulders.
"Enjoy the meal with your "friend," just make sure to bring me home a slice of their chocolate mousse cake. There's a dress on your bed, reservations at 7PM, and I left my black card for you to use." She instructs, as she places a kiss to your forehead, and swiftly walks off.
You internally began to plot her murder, but made your way to Wanda's room anyways, because free food isn't something you'd ever pass up on, nor would you want to deprive Wanda of...
Plus, besties can have meals together... in romantic restaurants... dressed to impress... while some harbor their “secret” feelings, and others wait patiently for them to come to light.
"So, who's looking forward to the party Tony's throwing tomorrow?" Natasha nonchalantly cuts through the thickening silence in the kitchen.
"I'm excited to drink, and make fun of Clint just so Kate can get all defensive. She's adorable when she's annoyed." Yelena comments, as she adds even more sriracha to her pasta, and Natasha prays for her stomach lining.
"I'll be there, but not sure for how long." You reply, saying exactly what is expected of you, as has been your answer for the last year or so.
"You used to be the life of the party Y/N/N, Tony's growing annoyed with having to take over the title. He's not cut out for it, he's much better at being hated."
You snort at the comment, nodding silently in agreement, because Tony’s capacity for being a fun drink only lies between three to five drinks. Once he surpasses that threshold, he just becomes insurmountably unbearable.
“Well, I’ll be there this time, apparently it’s nonnegotiable.” Wanda quips as she goes to wash the dishes.
Your body perks up at the announcement, and suddenly the need to be in your bed by 10PM tomorrow is no more.
“Oh, well you two can go together then. Y/N here can show you the ropes of a Stark party.” Natasha states, smirking deviously in your direction over her coffee mug, and you playfully glare back in her direction.
“I’d love to.” You genuinely confirm, and Wanda spins to look at you with a curious gaze, and you shyly smile at her.
“It’s a date.” Wanda confirms in a playful yet flirty tone before she skips out of the kitchen.
Natasha laughs boisterously, patting your back to pull you from your shocked state as she also leaves the kitchen.
“Wands, are you ready? Party started ten minutes ago, we need to leave now to make it at the perfectly fashionably late time. We’ll make our grand entrance.” You murmur through the door, slightly knocking as you do.
The door flies open, and your breath catches in your throat, rendering you speechless. Wanda’s face tints a light pink under your intense gaze, her gaze drops, and she then takes the moment to take in your appearance as well.
“Wow, Wanda, you look absolutely stunning.”
She had been in a low cut scarlet dress, the type that leaves nothing to the imagination. There was a simple triple tier gold necklace adorning her neck, drawing one’s attention away from where most deem to be respectful. Her fingers are delicately covered in rings to match her necklace, and earrings. She kept her makeup simple, simply matching her lip to her dress, and doing the simple eye routine.
“Look who’s talking.” She breathlessly replies, taken aback by your choice in outfit, silently cursing herself for having skipped all other parties thus far.
You’d chosen to wear a black form fitting high waisted leather mini skirt, with a red, sheer, low cut shirt loosely tucked within, and a matching leather jacket draped over your arm. Your skin shined with a simple moisturizer having been used, and your lips were glossy.
“Shall we?” You question, a smirk upon your face at her flustered state, with a hooked arm stretched out that she graciously loops her through.
“We shall.” She confirms with a smile of her own, as she shuts her door and allows you to guide her.
Your grand entrance is as expected, the occasional wolf whistle from your favorite Avengers, and your sister’s glares as they take in the clothing you’ve “borrowed” from them.
“Love the skirt, it’s almost as if I have the same one in my closet.” Natasha playfully jabs at you
“Well, you do have a tendency to copy my every move.” You jab back and she gasps, with a hand to her chest.
“Name one time!”
“I was gay first.” You reply with a smirk.
“Out of the closet maybe.” She grumbles over her drink and glares your way.
“Where’s Maria?”
“Running behind, but she’ll be here shortly. You two go have fun!!”
After rounding up a few drinks with Wanda, her attention diverts to Vision who’s having a moral grey area dilemma, so she departs from you to briefly assist him. You smile as she goes, but it quickly falls as she’s out of sight. Yelena finds you at the bar, and challenges you to a drink off, which you always win, but she never fails to try.
“I’ve built up my tolerance.” She boasts, just to tap out on shot number six while you’re taking the tenth like a champ.
“Maybe next time Lena.” You comfort her with a hand to her back, as you peruse the crowd for the Sokovian.
Your eyes finally land on Wanda, smiling widely as you do, but having it drop instantly. She’s currently engrossed in a conversation with a gorgeous blonde, and you can’t help but to feel jealousy roll throughout your body. She’d apparently said something funny as Wanda’s head was thrown back and her hand delicately landed on the woman’s shoulder. You excused yourself from a clearly oblivious Yelena, and made your way outside to stand on the balcony.
Natasha had been lazily talking to the boys while waiting for her wife to arrive, and was stunned to see her wife running towards her.
“She’s here!” She ominously gasps out, trying to regain her breath.
“Who?”
Maria locks eyes with her wife, as they have a silent conversation, and Natasha’s face turns deadly. She looks all around for you, but your nowhere to be found. She walks across the floor, and stops when she finds Wanda, who’s no longer with you. Suddenly her trust in Wanda’s at an all time zero, but she has to remind herself that she was equally in the dark about the return…
“Wanda, where’s Y/N?”
“She was at the bar.” She kindly replies, but her eyes are pleading with Natasha to save her, but Natasha’s too preoccupied with her immense need to find you.
“Well, she’s not, and I need to find her first.”
“Natasha, what’s wrong?”
“She’s here.” She grits out, abruptly spinning on her feet before taking off towards Yelena.
Wanda’s mind starts to run a mile a minute, then she notices the woman she’d been politely placating is now gone, and it must’ve been an elaborate distraction all along.
Your phone was blowing up, but you wouldn’t know that because it’s in your jacket pocket. You’d left your jacket at the bar, which normally would be a mistake, but as of now you certainly welcomed the chill of the NY breeze. Your skin was hot, almost overbearingly so, It’s unfair to be jealous of Wanda and the woman, she’s single, and if you’ve learned anything this year it’s that jealousy isn’t cute.
You heard fast, yet dainty footsteps approaching, and your once overheated body now ran cold. You’d recognize those steps from anywhere, and now the fresh air you sought out became stale. You felt trapped, which you were, as she stood before the doorway.
“What are you doing here?”
“I saw you bought out the lease.” She slurs, ignoring your question as she takes a wobbly step towards you.
“Yeah, it was about time I let that place go.”
Her face dropped at your words, but they didn’t do anything to deter her.
“I miss you baby girl…”
“You sure have a funny way of showing it..” You bitterly chuckle out.
“I tried to come back, but I just couldn’t face you… I love you so much Y/N/N, please, let’s start over…”
“YOU DON’T LOVE ME CAROL! If you did you wouldn’t have done what you did, and you certainly wouldn’t have left me behind. If you love someone, you don’t break them, and leave them beaten down and heartbroken.
Her body begins to glow, as anger once again courses through her body, angered that you’d shout at her, more so that you’d tell her how she feels.
“I do love you Y/N! That’s why I came back for you!” She seethes, as her powers surge and begin to overwhelm her body.
“No! You came back for your need for control, you saw I was actually moving on, and what? Thought you’d just come back and stake your claim?”
“You’re moving on? Let me guess, with the witch? Where is she then? Last I saw she was flirting with a busty blonde, so I mean I guess you just couldn’t keep her attention…” She darkly chuckles out, as she aims to taunt you, and raises her arm to silently threaten you.
“No Carol, not moving on to someone, but to moving passed you. I was so blinded by my love for you that I never saw the changes occurring. You’re not the woman I fell in love with, and you haven’t been for over a year…”
“No!! That stupid girl got too close, she tried to take you from me! I was jealous, but I promise I’ll be better, for you I’d do anything!” She shouts as an energy blast shoots off, and you duck, narrowly missing the attack.
“Oh how fucking rich! You’re going to do better, while literally repeating the actions that brought us here? Fuck you, and your bullshit. Come on, hit me with your best shot, that’s clearly what you want to do.”
“Yeah, and this time I’ll take you far away from here, then you’ll see just how much I love you, and how much you truly do belong to me.” She cooly replies, as she raises both fists to blast you.
Your eyes close, accepting your fate and awaiting the blast, but it fortunately never comes. You open your eyes to see a deep red mist surrounding the bright orange energy, and a collection of eyes desperately pleading for you to move. Once you do the blast is released and knocks a chunk of Tony’s compound to the ground below.
Carol looks up to see she’s extremely outnumbered, and goes to fly off, but Wanda blasts her right out of the sky then runs to you.
“Y/N/N… I was so worried… I-I, why’d you leave the bar?” Wanda scrambles to get out, while checking you over for any marks.
“I needed some fresh air, but I’m okay Wands… I knew you guys would rescue me, I’d have jumped but there was no room for a grappling hook under this skirt.” You laugh out, as you hold her close, while opening your other arm for your sisters to crash into.
“We’ll be handling the wench down there!” Yelena growls out, as she takes a grappling hook out and “cascades” down the building.
“Maria and I will be the ones to actually handle her, because as you can see our sister’s slightly inebriated.” Natasha chuckles out, as you all stares down the side of the building to see Yelena is currently stuck upside down.
“Well, she did challenge me to shots again.” You laugh out, and Natasha nods with a slight chuckle.
“I’m proud of you malyshka, I’m happy you got your fire back.” Natasha smiles at you, and kisses your cheek, then uses her eyes to not so subtly look between your eyes and the body clinging to yours.
The chaos dies down, as everyone retreats back inside to party, and you two remain outside.
“Hey, wanna climb up to the roof with me?”
“I’d go anywhere with you.” Wanda murmurs against your shoulder, having not yet released her iron grip on you, and your heart skips a beat at the proclamation.
“So yes.” She sheepishly continues, as she pulls back from you, and ascends the ladder to the roof.
The two of you sit on the edge, staring out at the starry night sky, and your body finally catches on to the cold as you shiver.
“Are you cold?” Wanda questions with a frown on her face as she realizes just how bare you actually are.
“I am fi—.”
Wanda loudly scoffs at your attempt to write off your obvious chill, then she conjures up her red tendrils. She spins them slowly around her hands, leaving you in awe; she then throws a transparent field up that radiates a familiar warmth around the both of you, feeling as if she’s hugging you.
“I think I’m ready…” You blurt out, and Wanda turns to you with a quirked brow.
“Ready for what?”
You turn to look at her with a gentle smile, with eyes full of immense adoration. Then before she can even utter another word, you lurch forward to capture her lips in a sweet kiss. Initially she gasps, but she’s quick to meet your lips with intense fervor, moving to straddle your lap, and instantly deepening it.
“Ar-re you sure?” She pants out, as she pulls back and locks her gaze with yours, and your heart breaks at how vulnerable and unsure she looks in this moment.
“I’ve never been more sure of anything in my entire life detka… You—Wanda Maximoff, are my angel… You’ve saved me time and time again. You taught me just what love is supposed to be, and you never had any expectations for a return. You’re my dream girl, so yes, I’m sure. I’m ready to openly love you, ” You shakily reply, then she pulls you in for another kiss.
“It’s about damn time…” She mumbles against your lips, and you chuckle lightly before meeting her lips once more.

The playground was buzzing with chatter, laughter and the occasional shout of excitement as you ran around playing ‘tag your it’ with your friends. You raced around the playground just like your late uncle, Pietro, would’ve, you were always the hardest one for your friends to tag. But the laughter and big smile soon turned to fear as you saw the schoolyard bullies approaching.
“Look!” One shouted, pointing at you. “it’s the girl with two moms!” Snickered Bailey, a boy from your class. He was only a few inches taller than you but somehow it always felt like he towered over you. His friends, Drew and Blake, laughed as they stood behind him, pointing at you. Your cheeks flushed with humiliation; the entire playground was now looking at you.
Feeling confident within himself, Bailey took a few steps closer to you with a teasing grin on his smug face. “Are you going to grow up and be a fag like them?” He teased once more. The feeling of humiliation quickly turned to a surge of anger that you couldn’t contain and in a moment of raw emotion, you stepped forward closer to Bailey and, with a quick motion, your hand in a strong fist, you punched the boy right in the face.
The playground fell silent as Bailey tumbled back, landing on his backside. Laughter was replaced with gasps of shock, Bailey began to wail when he noticed the blood streaming from his nose. Your heart was pounding as you towered over the school yard bully, the playground around you turned to a blur as you death stared the boy.
“Y/n Romanoff!” A stern voice called, snapping you back to reality. You turned to see your teacher, Miss Smith, with her arms crossed over her chest. “Principal’s office, now!” She added. You sighed heavily knowing just how much trouble you were in as you began to make your way to the large building. “Bailey, come with me, we’ll get you cleaned up and you can tell me what happened” you heard your teacher’s voice behind you.
Lunch time was over, and you were still sitting outside the principal’s office. Miss Smith had not long taken Bailey in to discuss what had happened. Your heart felt heavy as you thought about how much trouble you were in, what would your moms think?
Before your mind could begin to go deeper into thought, Mr Thompson opened his door. Miss Smith and Bailey walked out without saying a word, Bailey holding a tissue to his nose as he walked by you, sending you a glare. “Y/n, come in” Mr Tompson said in a rather disappointed tone. You pushed yourself up off the chair and walked into his office. Mr Thompson closed the door behind him before taking a seat behind his desk.
“Y/n, Miss Smith and Bailey told me what happened today during lunch time” he started in a serious tone. “You know that we do not tolerate bullying in this school” he added.
“But…he was bullying me!” You corrected, trying to defend yourself. “He came up to me and made fun of me for having two moms and called them a slur!” You added. Before Mr Thompson could reply, his door swung open and in walked your moms.
“Honey, are you okay?” Nat said in a worry, giving your face a check over, “Mr Thompson said you got into a fight” she added.
“I’m fine mom, I promise” you said, looking up at her.
Your mother frowned in confusion, “what happened?” She asked.
Wanda, gently placing a hand on your shoulder for comfort.
“It was Bailey again” you sighed, “I was just playing with my friends and he came up to me and made fun of me for having two moms and then he asked me if I was going to grow up and be a –“ you paused, not wanting to say the slur that was wrong at you so you looked up at Wanda, letting her read your mind. Wanda turned to Natasha and quietly whispered the slur so you wouldn’t have to say it.
“So I punched him” you added.
Your mother, Natasha, turned to Mr Thompson, crossing her arms across her chest, “let’s be clear here. Y/n isn’t the problem. She stood up for herself while this kid has been continuously bullying her!” She said sternly.
Mr Thompson adjusted his glasses, “I understand your concerns Miss Romanoff, but we do not condone violence in this school. I’m sorry but I have no choice but to suspend Y/n”
“But you condone homophobia?” Wanda looked at him.
“Of course, not” he replied, looking up at your mother who stood protectively behind you. “Bullying of any kind is not tolerated here” he added.
“So, let me get this straight” Natasha cleared her throat, “you’re going to suspend our daughter because she stood up for herself when she was the target of a homophobic slur? But because she hit somebody, this kid gets what? Nothing? A few moments of attention because he got some sense knocked into him?”
Mr Thompson, taken back by Natasha’s words, “I was not aware of the nature of the situation until Y/n came in here. I was simply told that she had been given Bailey a hard time recently and today when Bailey asked her kindly to stop, she hit him”
“That’s a lie!” You inserted yourself, “he is always making fun of me! He is always making others laugh at me, it’s not fair!” You snapped, holding bad your tears of frustration.
“If you’re going to suspend her for this, I will make sure everybody knows this school likes to give a pass for homophobic behaviour. Do I make myself clear?” Natasha said in a serious tone. Defeated, Mr Thompson finally relented. “Alright, I won’t suspend her, but I will speak to Bailey and his family. I do apologise for all of this. Y/n, you may go back to class”
“Actually, we’re going to take her home” Wanda replied, sending a proud glance to Natasha. Your moms always taught you to stand up for yourself, others and what you believed in and today proves that you were taught well.
As you and your mothers left school, Nat took your hand, “you did the right thing today sweetheart, I’m so proud of you” she smiled softly.
“But you always said violence was bad” you replied.
“It is, but, in this case, you used it to send a message and it was big one” your mother explained.
Wanda smiled softly at you, “how about we go get some ice cream? I think you deserve it”
Your eyes lit up, “yes please!” You beamed, “can I please get two scoops?” You asked, making your mothers chuckle.
“I’m sure two scoops is perfect for our brave girl!” Wanda replied.
“You may have as may scoops as you like, my love” Nat said, taking your backpack from you as you all reached the car.
“You guys are the best!” You beamed, jumping into the car.
Your mothers smiled at one another, “we love you, darling” Wanda said, before helping you buckle your seatbelt.
“I love you too!” You replied, sweetly.

Dream Sequence
**********************************
Part One  Part Two Part Three
~When you call her name…
…like you do when you’re with me~
It’s a lazy afternoon.
Most everyone is out of the compound, on missions or running errands. So no one noticed the three of you hide away in Wanda and Nat’s shared bedroom all day. It started with watching a movie, but roaming hands and stray kisses quickly distracted the three of you.
As it got later, Wanda volunteered to get dressed long enough to go grab something from the kitchen, allowing you and Nat to lay around the room.
“Say it again,” you lie face down on the bed with Wanda’s pillow beneath your head.
Behind you, Nat delicately runs her fingers along your bare back, every now and again her fingers circle a purple mark left by one of them.
“Say what?” her touch ghosts over a particularly dark mark.
“My name.”
She smiles, “Y/n.”

Heated Hands
Carol Danvers x Fem!Reader
Wanda Maximoff x Fem!Reader (“Besties”)
Natasha x Widow!Reader x Yelena (Siblings)
I love Carol, this isn’t meant as slander 🥺
TW: Violence
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Carol never meant for it to happen... She never should've gone out drinking, nothing good ever came from her and unlimited shots of patron...
————
You'd spent your entire night at the compound with your sister's—Natasha and Yelena—while your girlfriend Carol was out for drinks with her closest friends—Valkyrie and Maria. It shouldn't have been a problem, but it turned into one when you returned to your shared apartment at around 1AM. You wouldn't have even returned had it not been for Fury calling your sisters for an impromptu mission in the early morning hours.
"Hello darling, what are you doing up?" You nonchalantly question your girlfriend, having honestly expected her to be in an alcohol induced slumber by now—apparently that was the wrong thing to ask.
"Why do you ask? Trying to sneak back in unnoticed, huh?" She venomously questions you.
"No? What are you on about? I was at the compound with —."
"The witch? The one that I've repeatedly told you has eyes for you? God, you're blind." She shouts as she starts to pace around the living room.
"Carol—for the zillionth time, I'm with you! I want you! Even if Wanda did want me, she's never once overstepped a single boundary, and I've never once flirted with her. This arguments becoming exhausting Carol..."
"You didn't deny it... So you were with her?"
"Carol, I didn't need to deny it, because I have every right to see my friends. Now, as I had been saying, I was with Natasha and Yelena!"
"Liar! They're on a mission! Maria got called away for it too!"
"That's why I'm home Carol! We'd planned a sleep over, remember? They dropped me off on the way to SHIELD. How drunk are you?"
"The compound is closer than the bar, your story isn't adding up."
"Oh my gosh... They had to get ready first! We were in our fucking pajamas, so they had to suit up, and prepare their arsenal of weapons."
"Stop making excuses! Tell me the damn truth for once!"
You sigh exasperatedly, while rubbing at your temples, entirely too tired for this familiar argument.
"I'm going to bed, you can take the fucking couch, and we can have this same conversation in the morning when you're sober."
"Don't you dare walk away from me!" She shouts, and it's then that you finally look her way to see that she's completely glowing.
"Carol, calm down..." You croak out, honestly terrified beyond belief, having only ever seen her like this on missions.
"Calm down?" She questions humorlessly.
"How can I calm down when my girlfriend is whoring herself out?!" She shouts, while waving her hands around crazily and hitting your chest with a surge of energy from across the room.
The surge knocks the wind out of you, leaving you temporarily immobilized, and causes your voice to fade out.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" She bitterly chuckles out in question, while her powers continue to surge, and you now realize how screwed you are.
Widow's are smart, coordinated, strategic, amazing marksman, their skills list is honestly endless. You just never expected to need to be a Widow with your girlfriend, and now it's too late, either she's going to calm down, or you're going to get hurt.
"Car-ol, baby, calm.." You choke out, attempting once more to get through to the rational part of her.
"Don't call me baby!" She seethes, surging forward and hitting you full force—directly in the chest, with both hands consumed by her energy.
Your body goes flying through the kitchen wall, and then again through the main wall of your apartment; successfully throwing you out of your second story apartment, and onto the grassy field behind the building, successfully knocking you completely out.
Carol was frozen in her spot, eyes glazed over and foggy due to the residual inebriation. Her brain takes a full ninety seconds to catch up with what's actually taken place here. She shakes her head, trying desperately to clear her patron goggles, then she sees the two you shaped holes in the wall and her blood runs cold.
She runs to the edge of your shared apartment, desperately looking around for your body, eventually spotting you about fifty feet out, completely folded in on yourself.
She clumsily levitated down to your body, collapsing beside you, as she assessed you as best she could for life threatening wounds.
"Y/N, baby? Please wake up... Fuck.. I'm so sorry, I know you're not cheating on me. I know Wanda's just your friend... Shit! Please don't die... I-I, I love you, this wasn't supposed to happen... I got you... I'll get you help..."
Carol lifts you up by your thighs, and gently lays you over her shoulder, then runs to the car. As drunk as she had been, she's completely sobered up enough now to get to the compound. She races there, cutting the ten minute drive down to five, and then she bursts through the doors.
"Friday! Call for Cho, and Bruce to meet me in the medbay, Y/N's hurt!" She shouts over her sobs as she carries your limp form to the medical wing.
She's pacing the room, completely unable to look at your unconscious form in the bed beside her. The anxiety inside of her is growing with every minute that passes, her patience for the doctors is wearing thin.
"Carol, what the fuck happened?" Wanda shouts as she enters the medbay, rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes, and as soon as she sees you her face drops.
"Maximoff, this doesn't concern you." Carol bitterly remarks, unfairly taking her anger out on the woman that "caused" all of this.
"Danvers, it sure as hell does concern me. That's my best friend on the table."
"We both know that's not what she is to you."
"Fuck, Danvers, you need to get over your insecurities, because that girl on the table only sees you. You're all she talks about, and now you accuse us of what? Having an illicit affair? I'm no home wrecker, and Y/N's too in love with you to even consider cheating. Now, what the hell happened? I won't be made to ask again."
"I-I..."
"No..." Wanda lowly says, as she's starting to piece it all together.
"Tell me you didn't do this... Tell me you fucking didn't!" She shouts, as red tendrils begin to consume her hands.
"It was an accident."
"This won't be!" Wanda seethes, as she throws her powers at Carol, throwing her into the medbay's wall.
Carol jumps up, preparing to throw an energy blast of her own back, but a disheveled Bruce and Cho make their way in, and both women's attention shifts to your well being.
"Oh my God, what happened? I didn't know Y/N had a mission, did someone tell Natasha and Yelena yet?" Bruce anxiously relays, while moving to hook Y/N up to the machines, and Cho begins to come up with where to start with you.
"Do we even know what happened? Why didn’t the team call this in sooner so we could prepare?" Cho asks, looking up from the chart she'd started, and Carol's jaw clenches at the gravity of the memory replaying in her mind.
"She was thrown from a two story building, landing about fifty feet out in a field." Carol calmly relays, hardly answering the questions.
"Her clothing is singed, do we know what attacked her? I can call Fury to see who she was up against." Bruce comments, while cutting your already ruined clothes from your body.
Wanda's eyes flash red, as she delves into your mind to get to the bottom of things, since Carol was skipping around the truth. She pulls out of your head with nothing but blind rage fueling her next movements; as she lifts Carol's form into the air, completely encasing her body in a mist of red.
"Wanda! What are you doing?" Bruce shrieks
"Go on Carol, tell Bruce what creature attacked poor Y/N huh, WHO threw that sweet girl through not one, but two fucking walls huh?" Wanda seethes, while tightening her mist around Carol, who's immense guilt is preventing her from wanting to fight back.
"Wait, are you trying to insinuate that it was Carol that did this?" Bruce questions, as a shocked expression takes over his features, and he turns his attention back to you.
Wanda hears you whimper in pain, as your consciousness slightly seeps through, and she swiftly drops Carol to the ground as her heart clenches.
"It was an accident...." Carol whispers dejectedly as she lifts her gaze to be met by the disappointed ones of her friends...
"Please tell her I love her, and I'm so sorry." Carol sobs out before flying off in cowardice, and leaving behind the mess she’s made of you.
Wanda scoffs at her statement as it clearly doesn't match up with her actions, then she gently pushes the hair out of your injured face, and taps her fingers to your temples to override the nightmares you're currently having. She then stands off to the side while Bruce and Cho do their best to fix you up, vowing to stay by your side no matter what—she will protect you.
Yelena and Natasha were about halfway to the mission's location when Friday had alerted them to your current state, and to say they were furious would be an understatement. They literally just left you at your apartment two hours ago, and somehow you're in critical condition in the medbay.
"Fury, send replacements, I'm not joking!" Natasha shouts, as she and Yelena "borrow" a motorcycle from outside a bar.
"Agent Romanoff, Y/N's going to be fine, so just finish your job!"
"Our sister comes first—you know that, and if my sources are correct I have a new mission."
"Yeah, what's that?" Fury annoyedly asks.
"Eliminate Captain Marvel, in the most brutal way I know how." She growls into her comms, then shuts it off before he has time to reply, as she speeds off towards the compound with an equally pissed off Yelena clinging to her.
You wake with a start, having had the worst nightmare of your life, which quickly becomes your reality as you fall back against the medical bed in immense pain.
"Y/N?" Your blonde sister groggily acknowledges your movements.
"Lena?." You brokenly whisper, while fresh hot tears immediately cascade down your cheeks.
"Shh.. Vse v poryadke, pauchok, ty v bezopasnosti" She coos, while staring down into your eyes with sad eyes of her own.
(It's okay little spider, you're safe.)
You cry even harder at her words, and she just leans down and gently holds your sobbing face to her chest, while stroking your hair, and whispering comforting words into your ears.
"Natasha?"
"She's handling some important business..." Yelena growls, which tells you she knows and is on a mission to find Carol...
Your older sisters have always been overprotective, they'd even hesitated allowing you to join the Avengers with them, but they knew you'd be safer with them so they relented. When Carol began to court you, they'd fiercely shoot her down, never really trusting your heart with her.
"She's got heartbreaker written all over her." Yelena would always grumble when you'd try to get them to stop scaring her off.
"I've seen her other situationships, I simply don't trust her, you're too special malen'kiy pauk." Natasha always added before shooing you away.
You'd eventually taken their mutual absence for a mission as your chance to make your move on the gorgeous blonde. When you'd approached her she had been practicing with her powers in the gym, letting off some excess energy, and she'd looked hot while doing so.
"Hey there hot stuff." You shamelessly flirted, which startled her, and made her miss her intended target.
"Ooh, Carebear, Tony's not going to like the melted punching bag.. He's already tired of replacing them every time Steve has a fit, you might want to hide." You giggled out, and she turned to face you with an obviously fake annoyance across her features.
"Mini Romanoff... To what do I owe the displeasure of this encounter."
"First of all, it's Y/L/N, you know that. Secondly, I'm taller than my pipsqueak of a sister. Lastly, stop pretending like you haven't been pining after me for the last five months, I'm a spy, you know that Danvers." You cheekily replied.
"Well, you're supposedly off limits..."
"Listen, I'm a free agent, my sisters are not my keepers..."
"Is that why you waited for them to be on a month long mission to make your move?" She laughed out, with a quirked brow as she awaited a response.
"It's called being strategic, if I sweep you off your feet, and they return to us in an established relationship, then they have little to no power here. Keep up..."
Her face was fully amused, as she went to make a whitty remark, you'd cut her off.
"Careful not to miss your window now. I'm free of dinner plans tonight, if a pretty blonde would just move passed her fears of my harmless sisters, she could have the night of her life, starting at 7PM of course." You'd playfully instructed her, while walking your way back out of the gym with a wide smirk upon your face as you could feel her gaze stuck on you.
Two years later, and what was once a perfectly loving relationship, has bubbled over and become toxic. Riddled with her ludicrous ultimatums, and rampant unhinged jealousy. You'd always been fascinated by her magic, and the warmth she'd always provided you with it. You never expected to be on the receiving end. Never in your worst nightmares had you expected something so beautiful, to turn into something so tragic.
She'd never laid her hands on you before, even when she'd been drunk and angry in the past, she'd always calm herself down enough. This new side of her wasn't the Carol you knew and loved, and you're not sure you want her back.
"She's gone." Natasha angrily spits out as she enters the medbay with force, and you flinch at the sudden loud sound.
"Smart move on her end, because her death wouldn't have been pretty." Yelena growls, squeezing your hand tighter at the thought.
"Oh, mladshaya sestra—I'm sorry, I didn't meant to startle you." She coos, as she makes her way to the other side of your bed to soothe you.
"Natty, what do you mean she's gone?" You question, overlooking the apology in favor of finding out where your girlfriend had gone.
"She ran away like a fucking coward." You hear someone say, quickly registering that the angry voice belonged to the redheaded Sokovian.
"Guys, I-I, you're lying right? She wouldn't just leave me..." You cry out, as your heart shatters further.
Even if you weren’t sure you could get passed this, it still hurts that she wasn’t even willing to try. She hurt you, in more ways than one, and she’s not even here to see that you’re okay. That the two years of love was so easily disposable for her, as if it was only ever a passing phase for her.
"She said she never meant to hurt you, that she loves you, and all the other blah blah nonsense one tends to sputter out when caught." Wanda seethes, and her hands illuminate in red.
You flinch at the sight of her anger induced magic, everyone takes notice as your heart monitor goes crazy, and Wanda's face instantly drops as she shakes her hands free of the mist.
"Y/N/N, oh God—I'm sorry... I'm going to go." Wanda whimpers out as she scurries out of the room, with tears streaming down her face.
Your body violently shakes with sobs, fueled by the pain of Carol's every action, and the sudden guilt you’re feeling for causing Wanda's pained expression. Natasha immediately slides into your bed beside you, and guides your face to her chest, as Yelena slips into the other side and throws a protective arm over you.
“We got you, Y/N/N.” Natasha whispers as she places a kiss to your hairline.
“Always!” Yelena whispers out as her grip gently tightens around you.
They really do, they always have had you, and they always will… This is going to hurt like hell, but your sisters will love you through it all.

The Life You Deserve | Natasha Romanoff x Child!Reader
Tumblr media
Masterlist | N.R Masterlist
Words: 4.4k
Summary: When Natasha is selected to mentor you in the Red Room, she will do everything in her power to get you both out.
Triggers: Red Room, injuries, death of a side character.
✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧:・゚✧
Natasha vividly remembered when she first saw you. She was fourteen and you were only five. She remembered seeing you in your little tutu as you elegantly moved around the room, your hair pinned up in a pristine bun.
You were clearly the youngest in the room. Innocence radiated off of you, and the fact that you were extremely tiny compared to the others.
She hated looking at you.
There was nothing wrong with you yourself, you looked like a cute child, but she hated that even now as you were dancing, she was watching the innocence being ripped from you as Madame B began screaming at the group to correct their forms. You looked scared, and she knew that one day that scared look would be replaced by a cold mask planted on your face.
Natasha was the best in the Red Room, she excelled and outsmarted all of the other widows, even those much older than her. Which is why she had been selected to be a mentor to an even younger widow. You had been selected.
You were one of the youngest, so if Natasha made some errors with her first mentoring job there would still be time to rectify the situation. The situation being you.
You didn't know that you had been selected to be a mentee to improve your already flourishing skillset, so you were oblivious to the horrified fourteen-year-old watching you through the glass. You just focused on your steps and form.
Ballet made you feel free, even with Madame B screeching orders at the group. You just loved dancing, so it was easy to ignore the cons that came along with it.
But you froze when you noticed Dreykov walking towards you, followed by a girl with bright red hair. You were praying that they were going to be talking to one of the other girls in the room, but your prayers were not answered.
He gently placed his hands under your arms to lift you up and place you on his hip. You flinched at his touch which broke Natasha's heart. But she kept her cold mask up, looking at you blankly now that your gazes were relatively level with each other.
Her face displayed no emotions, but even at your young age, you could see that her eyes were staring at you with pity. You didn't remember someone ever looking at you like that, so you just stared at her as though she was the most interesting thing on the planet. She held your stare, your soft gaze intriguing her.
Due to being distracted, you hadn't heard the conversation that had just taken place between Dreykov and Madame B, explaining that you were being taken away from classes for the rest of the day.
So, you were startled as he began walking out with you, Natasha a few paces behind. You thrashed your legs slightly due to the confusion, which only caused the man holding you to painfully increase his grip.
You whimpered slightly as your bottom lip wobbled, and Natasha looked over at you again. In a perfect world, she would have snatched you from his arms and run away.
But this wasn't a perfect world.
Sensing eyes on you, you turned to meet her gaze, which instantly relaxed you, so you creepily stared at her the entire way to Dreykov's office.
Natasha was confused but saw you relax when she looked at you, so she didn't look away. She liked how you were looking at her in a friendly and trusting way, no one else did. Most people those days either saw her as a threat or as someone to push around.
Once in the man's office, Dreykov set you down beside his desk and told you to stand by Natasha on the other side of it. You promptly did so and looked up at her with interest. At this point though, her full focus was on Dreykov, she did not want to get on his bad side and so knew that she couldn't openly show you any affection.
You saddened at the lack of attention and got startled again when the man sitting at his desk slammed his fist down to get you to look at him.
Your head whipped around to face him and your breathing quietly picked up pace, Dreykov couldn't hear it, but Natasha could. Once again she just wanted to reach out and get you both out of there, but those ideas stopped when the talking began.
Dreykov began explaining that Natasha was to be your mentor until she graduated. You didn't miss how her demeanour faltered at the mention of graduation, but you weren't aware of why.
You two were to train together, dance together, eat meals together, and Natasha's bed was to be moved next to yours. He wanted you two to spend practically 24/7 together so that you would naturally start mimicking everything that Natasha did.
You, naturally, were slightly confused at what Dreykov was saying. But Natasha understood every word. She didn't know you, but you were going to be turned into her carbon copy, and she didn't know how to feel about it. What she did know is that she suddenly felt quite protective of you, and she would try and make sure that no harm came to you whilst you were in her care.
In her head, it made the situation slightly better. If she was being forced to do work for the Red Room then she could at least do it with as much compassion as she could.
When Dreykov was done talking, you were dismissed and told to wait outside as he continued to speak to Natasha. You didn't really want to leave alone, but you didn't have any choice, so Natasha gave you a small smile of encouragement as she watched you leave.
It felt like you were outside for days on end as you stood outside of the office leaning against the wall, your limited attention span due to your young age was making this a very boring wait.
After a while, Natasha also exited the office and spotted you a few paces down the hall. She tapped your shoulder and gestured for you to follow. You happily did, blissfully unaware of the consequences of that meeting. You only knew that you were happy to follow this girl that you had suddenly formed an attachment to.
She was walking quite quickly, so you had to start jogging to keep up, but that was hard with your little legs. You whined slightly as you slowed, making Natasha turn on her heels to face you and silently cursed herself when she realised that you were further back than she thought.
She sent you a small apologetic smile before she held out her hand for you to take. You grinned, which melted her heart, and ran forward to reach for her hand.
The two of you walked to the cafeteria as it was now time for dinner. It was already packed by the time you arrived. There was a specific time that all of the widows have to leave the cafeteria for the night, which Natasha was conscious of. So, she hastily guided you over to the edge of the room and handed you your tray of bland food before picking hers up.
She watched as you cutely tried to hold it without tipping the contents of your meal over, tongue sticking out in concentration.
"Come on Y/n", she softly said, and slowly walked over to somewhere with two empty spaces. You toddled along behind her as she placed her tray down, then took yours and placed it on the table for you saving you from the horror of emptying your food onto the floor. It was one tray per person, even if your food ended up inedible.
You climbed up onto the seat and began to eat your meal. It consisted of a plain lump of chicken, a spoonful of mashed potato, and some mushrooms.
You inhaled your chicken and potatoes, Natasha had to hold back a laugh as she watched you stuff your face with the flavourless sustenance. She eventually told you to slow down, she didn't want you to choke.
She frowned when she saw you place your cutlery down before making a start on your mushrooms though. Everyone here knew that you had to finish all of your food before the time to leave came around. Which was in about five minutes.
"Eat your mushrooms", she handed you your fork and continued eating her own meal. She abruptly stopped though when she heard you breathing heavily again as you stared down at your plate with your bottom lip sticking out.
She didn't really know what to do. With your age, she thought that you were about to have a tantrum about not wanting more food. She wouldn't be able to deal with that. "Y/n", she warned sternly which made you look up at her, "Eat".
You gulped as you turned to face the plate again. The last time you ate mushrooms you ended up in the medical wing. "Allergic", you whispered and placed your fork down again, terrified of Natasha's reaction.
Her eyes widened as she looked at you, she obviously couldn't force you to eat something that you were allergic to. Her eyes widened even further when she saw that people were getting up to leave. Time was running out.
Checking that no one was watching, she hurriedly switched your plates, leaving you with half a lump of potato, and her with your mushrooms. "Eat", she emphasised again as she quickly ate the rest of your meal. You did as you were told and she gathered both of your trays, telling you to follow her again.
That night yours and Natasha's beds were placed next to each other, with a small gap to walk between them. Your bed was to the right of Natasha's, and you lay still whilst one of your wrists was handcuffed to the bed. At first, you used to complain about it but eventually learnt that it was of no use.
Natasha watched sadly as your tiny hand was being attached to the bed by a small set of handcuffs. She sent you a small smile once the adults had left the room for the night. Usually, Natasha slept facing the left side of the bed, but she lay on her other side from that night, wanting to keep an eye on you.
She only allowed herself to fall asleep once she had seen your eyes flutter shut.
---
Natasha had been mentoring you for four years now. She was eighteen and you were nine, and she had loved watching you grow and was so proud of your progress. You were an incredibly smart child, and you were still excelling in training. You were becoming a mini-her when it came to skill, but they hadn't managed to rid you of your bouncy personality yet, which Natasha was grateful for every day, you made her life in the Red Room better.
So far, she had succeeded in her promise to let no harm come to you whilst you were under her watch. She would take a bullet for you without looking back, her worst fear was you being harmed without being able to do anything to stop it, so she could only stare in horror as she watched you walking into the fighting ring.
Your age group had reached a milestone in your training, now it was time to eliminate the weak links. You would each fight another person until your opponent died, halving the group, leaving only the strong ones left.
Due to you being in the mentor programme, Natasha had thought that you wouldn't be a part of these eliminations, but she was wrong.
She had never been so scared in her life as she watched you take a fighting stance against someone who was two years older. The age gap wasn't big, but when you're young it means a lot in terms of size.
Natasha was filled with hope as she watched you holding your own in the ring, blocking hit after hit, and even breaking your opponent's nose.
All hope was lost though when you had been pushed backwards in a way that made you stumble. The other girl had lifted you up and threw you to the ground before standing on your chest, rapidly increasing the pressure.
Natasha panicked as she saw you in pain and struggling on the floor, she desperately wanted to help you, but she couldn't. She flinched when she heard the snapping of your ribs, and felt like sobbing when she heard your pained screams. She was certain that you were going to die now.
Your head moved to look at the people watching, and your eyes met Natasha's. She looked distraught, and this sparked something in you, you couldn't leave her.
You grabbed the leg that was on top of you again and tried to twist her off of you, it took a few tries but you managed to send her stumbling away. So, you quickly stood and let out a cry of pain, you couldn't hear it but Natasha's breath hitched at seeing you in pain again.
The other girl looked like she was going to charge at you again, so you did it before she could. You leapt at her and manoeuvered yourself to be on her back. You had to hold back a scream as your ribs slammed against her, but you ignored the pain and placed your hands on the side of her head as she tried to shake you off. You desperately looked over to Natasha and saw her nod at you quickly.
You twisted your hands, and she dropped to the floor.
You had completed your first kill.
Your breath was wheezy as you looked at Natasha again, your lungs clearly affected by the multiple broken ribs.
When Natasha met your gaze her heart dropped, the once bright ones that used to stare at her had dulled slightly. The Red Room was breaking you, and she didn't know how to stop it.
---
That night Natasha laid awake as she faced your empty bed, struggling to sleep with you being so far away. You had won the fight but still had to spend the next few days in the infirmary. She stared blankly at your bed as she slowly drifted off to sleep. She wanted out.
She wanted out with you. And she knew that it would need to be done soon.
Natasha didn't realise how soon that was. The next day she was called into Dreykov's office for a meeting and was given the worst news possible.
Her graduation was going to take place the next day, and you had been sold to a high bidder who was part of the KGB. They needed a child for one of their missions. You fitted their criteria.
She nodded and thanked them before walking out. Her mouth went dry and her hands were shaking. She didn't want to be put through the graduation process, and she didn't want you going through the KGB. She was going to get you both out.
---
You were sleeping when Natasha stuck into the infirmary, she stilled when she saw your small figure laying in bed in a hospital gown. It was something that she had never wanted to see. But she quickly shook her head and moved forward, she then shook you awake and whispered your name. You immediately woke up and panicked until Natasha reassured you that it was just her.
She hugged you quickly and you nuzzled your face into her shoulder, absorbing the comfort that she gave you.
"We need to go", she disconnected your heart rate monitor and ripped out your IV. You were confused but just let her do her thing, you trusted her.
You whimpered though when she picked you up and held you against her front, your ribs were in excruciating amounts of pain. "I'm sorry. I know it hurts. You just have to trust me, okay? I'll get you out of here".
You nodded and pressed your face into her neck. She would have melted on the spot if it were any other situation, but she couldn't allow herself to do that.
She ran out of the room and had to ignore the tears that had silently started streaming down your face.
Natasha was acting cat-like as she manoeuvred around the building until an alarm went off. A nurse must have noticed your absence and triggered an alarm. Her cat-like jogging had turned into a messy sprint as she worked to get out before the place when into lockdown. She didn't dare think about what would happen to the two of you if you got caught.
She shoved her way past some guards, the impact causing pain to explode in your chest. You were openly sobbing now, the pain was too much. Natasha pressed a small kiss to the top of your head as she slowed to turn a corner, your sobs were breaking her, but she knew that you would both have worst fates if she didn't get you both out.
The screeching of Madame B could be heard by the both of you as she yelled for the two of you to come back and that you were both in for a world of pain. Natasha's grip on you increased protectively.
When you reached the front entrance you thought that you were both goners, but Natasha kicked the door down with so much force that the thick metal hinges had flown off.
You flinched at the loud bang but didn't have much more time to think as before you knew it she was taking off at a full sprint. You weren't sure how she was running so fast with you in her arms, or how she hadn't dropped you yet, you still kept a firm grip on her shirt just in case.
She wasn't sure how she hadn't dropped you yet either, but her grip was like iron so it wasn't a surprise really.
Natasha didn't know where she was running to, she just sprinted as far as she could in a zig-zag pattern to throw the Red Room off of your scent. You tried to keep quiet to not distract Natasha, but the occasional yelp still slipped out of you if she took a heavy step due to rocks and tree roots in the forest that you were now travelling through.
She responded by breathlessly voicing an "I'm sorry", or "I know".
It felt like hours that she had been running for, and she wasn't far off. She had sprinted at full speed for an hour, the adrenaline of getting you to safety at full speed powering her.
After she had run through almost the entirety of the large, unforgiving forest, there was a small abandoned shack that appeared in the distance, and she thought that it would be perfectly suitable to take a break and hide away in until she figured out where to go.
She practically collapsed onto the floor with you on her lap once you had both entered. Her breaths were very laboured, so you attempted to get off of her so that she could regain her breath and strength, but she just shook her head and muttered "No, no, no", as she pulled you closer into her and rested her cheek on the top of your head.
Natasha let a few tears slip in relief. She did it, she got you both out.
About half an hour had passed where she just held you, nothing else. You just sat in her embrace and allowed her to hold you as tight as she wanted to, without hurting your ribs.
She suddenly became conscious that you were still just in a hospital gown though, not that you minded, she was providing you with plenty of warmth. But she immediately cursed herself as she looked around the place in search of a blanket, but she came up empty. Sighing in slight defeat, she pushed your shoulders back slightly to look at you.
You gave her a small, tired smile as she pushed some hair out of your face, "Are you cold?", she asked with extra softness in her voice that you hadn't heard before.
"No, you're keeping me warm", you replied as you practically slammed your head back onto her chest. She laughed and you felt the vibrations going through your skull, it was calming. She gently rubbed your back to try and lull you to sleep, it had been a long couple of days for the both of you.
There was nowhere in this shack that was comfortable to sleep, so she lay down on the hard floor and kept a grip on you to guide you down with her. She wrapped her arms around you in a bear hug as you lay on top of her, unknowingly using her as a mattress whilst you slept.
"It's all okay now, I'm here. I'm always going to be here", she whispered before letting herself fall into a slumber as well.
She was going to give you a good life, she'd get you both good fake IDs, you'd leave the country and she would get a small job. She had always dreamt of having an apartment to share with you, and she would enrol you in a school where you can make friends your age. Natasha would love to do the school runs and hear about your day as she walked you both back home.
Natasha was going to give you the life you deserved. She'd make sure of it.
---
1 year later
Natasha had successfully gotten you both out of Russia and into America. She had decided on residing in Ohio, it had been nice when she had lived there for a Red Room mission when she was young, so she wanted to raise you there.
She had found a nice little two-bed apartment, and she loved sharing it with you. The space was dotted with pictures that you had painted, and of photos with the two of you on your various adventures over the year. Paintings that didn't go up on the wall went into a little folder that she kept in her bedside table drawer, they were her most prized possessions. You truly brightened up her life. As a child, she had imagined escaping on her own and going about her life, but now she couldn't imagine life without you.
Somehow, she had managed to get full custody of you, she had wrangled up some old contacts from previous missions to get the legal side done. It had meant that she could now enrol you in school. You were ten and eager to be with other kids, you were so excited that she couldn't help but be excited for you too.
The first night after school was spent wiping your tears. The other kids had teased you at school for your Russian accent. Natasha was livid but tried to keep her cool and reassure you that it was just new for them and that they'd forget about it soon. She didn't know if her words were true, but she wanted you to be excited about school still.
Her heart broke as she saw that you were too shy to speak when you woke up the next morning, afraid that your voice was weird.
She told you that she loved and you that you sounded beautiful. You believed her, Natasha would never lie to you.
It took a few days of more tears, and Natasha was close to pulling you out of school and attempting to do homeschooling, but you eventually made a friend, and the rest of the class didn't care that you didn't sound like them anymore. The novelty had worn off.
Whenever Natasha picked you up from school she got weird glances from parents on the playground waiting for their children. She very clearly looked to be in her late teens/early twenties, so the fact that she was picking up a ten-year-old seemed weird to them. But she didn't care, she loved being your mother figure and seeing your little face light up when you saw her as you came out of the classroom door with your giant backpack on.
Natasha had expected you to still be looking a little glum about your American school experience, but when she saw you hugging another young girl goodbye, her heart swelled. You looked so happy.
You then spotted Natasha from across the playground and sprinted over to her. She crouched slightly held out her arms for you to jump into, and then spun you around as you giggled.
She repositioned you to rest on her hip as she walked out, even though you were too old for that. She just loved holding you and knew that one day you might not like it anymore. "How was your day, honey?".
She smiled non-stop as she listened to your ramblings about your new friend and all of the mayhem that the two of you got up to today.
Natasha decided to make this day even better for you by taking you to get ice cream. She had a low-paying job so wasn't able to treat you like this as often as she wanted to, but she did whenever she could. You didn't mind that you didn't get treats all that often, you just loved being with Natasha.
Your face lit up again as she entered the parlour and pointed out the different flavours to you.
After you had picked one out you both sat down on a cute little white wooden table at the back and ate your delicious treat.
You got it all over your face, so Natasha started laughing at you. You were extremely confused at first until Natasha told you to smile as she took a photo of you with the camera that she carried with her, something that she did increasingly often. She had many photo albums stored in the apartment even after just a year, most of the photos being of you.
You couldn't help but laugh either when she showed you the mess that you had made. She grabbed a napkin and started gently wiping around your mouth. You gazed at her whilst she was doing so, you were still getting used to having these domestic moments with Natasha.
When she felt you looking at her, her eyes moved up to meet yours, and she was immediately taken back to when you had first stared at her five years ago. She had to hold back tears as she realised how much you had grown and how far you had both come.
She'd one it. She had given you both the life that you deserved, and there was no way on Earth that she was going to let it go.

Wish We Could Be Like That
Pairing: WandaNat x fem!Reader
Words: 5k~
Summary: Your relationship with Natasha and Wanda is a secret, but does it have to be?
Based on the song “Secret Love Song” by Little Mix
A/N: This was originally gonna be a one shot, but I got a little carried away. So I’ve broken it into 3 parts. This is my first time writing for the MCU. It’s also my first time writing a reader insert… so please be gentle :)
********Font Cheat Sheet:********
~Song Lyrics~
*thoughts*
Dream Sequence
**********************************
Part One Part Two Part Three
“What will we say?” you ask your girlfriends of six weeks.
The three of you lay on the roof of the compound looking up at the night sky. Natasha lies on her back with you pressed close to her side, head resting on her shoulder. Wanda curls around you with an arm wrapped around your waist from behind.
You’ve had the compound to yourselves for the past two months. The rest of the team being off on a lengthy mission.
A part of you expected to spend the two months as a permanent third wheel without the rest of the team there, but that lasted half a day. Really, you should have expected as much. You had been drawn to both of them from the moment you joined the team a year ago. Quickly you had bonded with the women and they became your close friends. But now, you were basically living alone with the world’s most perfect couple, and the rest of the team wasn’t here to act as a buffer when needed. However, it wasn’t awkward at all. The three of you instantly fell into a comfortable rhythm. There wasn’t a couple… plus you. It was just the three of you.
Two weeks into the two months, the two of them asked you to join their relationship.
The weeks since have been like a perfect dream. But unfortunately, that dream that is coming to a close. You had avoided the conversation as long as you could, but now it was inevitable. Tomorrow the rest of the team will be returning, and your momentary solace will end. When they left, Natasha and Wanda were in a relationship, engaged to each other, and you were very much single. Now, they are returning to the three of you as a trio. As much as you don’t want to admit it, the thought terrifies you.

Our Sleeping Beauty
WandaNat x PregnantFem!Reader
Request | 1,347 Words
“We didn’t want to wake you up.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Natasha—like always, was the first one of you three to wake up, and after a minute of ogling the both of your sleeping forms she went on her typical morning run. Only to return an hour later to an awake Wanda cuddling into your slumped form., “She’s still asleep?,” Natasha asked over a soft chuckle splitting Wanda’s attention between the two of you,“Yeah, and she’s just too cute to wake up.,” the witch mused with a raspy voice as she looked to her other wife with tired eyes full of love., “Then I say the two of us leave the sleeping beauty to rest while we run her errands.”
Wanda gently removed herself from your side, settling a pillow in her place as to not disturb you, and once she saw you were resettled she made her way over to embrace Natasha., “You’re absolutely right moya lyubov’, our angel is already overdoing it as it is, and she needs all the sleep she can get.,” Wanda confirms, then she leaves a soft peck to the redheads lips before scooting off into the restroom to get ready.
—————————————————
Natasha sits down besides you, admiring how beautiful you were in quiet moments like this. When you’re not bustling around to keep the house in order, or to keep all the Avengers well fed. Being Tony’s assistant for nearly a decade sure had perks, but it also came with a hefty workload that your lovers see firsthand. They have repeatedly begged you to retire the job, to become their pretty little housewife, but you truly are a stubborn one. So for now they will just assist you as best they can, and allowing you to sleep while handling Tony’s ridiculous list is just going to have to do for the day.
Natasha just couldn’t help it as she settled a kiss to your forehead., “YA tebya lyublyu.,” a coy smile takes over her face when you stir ever so slightly in your sleep, the silky grey covers consequently fall and leave your pregnant belly exposed to your lover whose eager lips lean down to press another kiss to your bump., “Mama lyubit tebya.,” she gasps lowly when the baby shifts under her lips., “Ostavaysya yeshche malyutkoy. mame nuzhno pospat'.”
(I love you) (Mama loves you) (Stay still little one, mommy needs to sleep.)
Wanda quietly tiptoes over to the scene, her hand lays against Nat’s shoulder as she too leans in to press a loving kiss to your bump., “Be good little one.,” she whispers against your skin, then as she pulls back she turns Natasha’s body, carefully she pulls her off the bed as to not disturb you further, and then into a kiss., “This is going to be a long morning.,” she sighs against the older woman’s lips who then chuckles into the kiss., “Better get going then.,” and just like that the brunette was being pulled out of the room, and was off to collect your to do list from under the magnet on the fridge.
A significant amount of hours had flown by before you woke up with a start. The talons of one bored calico kitten had etched a mark into your thigh before the older black cat could stop her successor. Your eyes flew open to find the cat was now lying on your bump, purring loudly in what you assume to be a self soothing move as he awaited your likely scolding. Though it never came as you were too busy looking to the clock that flashed 11:00AM.
Panic etched its way into your very soul seeing as how Tony’s charity gala was tomorrow and you needed to get everything pulled together. You realize that in your pregnancy induced exhaustive state last night you’d forgotten to set your alarms, but the vacancy’s in bed that belonged to your lovers left you perplexed. They knew today was your important day set aside for pulling all the loose strings together for Tony, and it irked you that they’d leave you in the lurch like this knowing how much you valued your position with the billionaire.
You tried to get out of bed, but the process had only become harder the closer to your due date you got. Falling back with a huff you did the next best thing., “Hey Siri, call baby mama and baby daddy on speaker for a conference call.,” and after only a few rings you heard the sound of panting, and then a slightly panicked voice., "We didn't want to wake you up...,” Hearing Wanda in such a state amused you, and if you weren’t panicked yourself you might’ve tried to ease her worries., “Well I have a lot of work to do, and it was irresponsible to leave me sleeping well into the late morning.”
Natasha rolled her eyes at your tone, she was clear across the way from Wanda, and was nowhere near as worried about your anger., “Detka, we made a logical decision for the sake of your health, and you should be happy to know we handled all of your little tasks.,” Natasha’s face held a smug smile as you were silent, but Wanda’s held a grimace as she was almost certain you were planning their deaths., “So, instead of waking me up as you should’ve, you two went out and handled all of my work for me without any issues?,” your tone was level, and the words were clear as day, but still they found themselves at a loss for an answer.
The silence felt safer to your lovers, your question was simple, but it also felt like a perfectly crafted trap they didn’t wish to fall into today., “An answer would be nice.,” Wanda cleared her throat, deciding it was her turn to brave the storm that was a hormonal, unpredictable you., “Yes detka, we finished about an hour ago, now we’re actually headed to get some food for you—our beautiful angel.,” Natasha smirked at the brunette’s attempt to placate you, knowing that it was likely to work.
“What food?,” you asked just as level, though you had to fight off a laugh when you heard your wives gulp, because truth be told the answer they give now matters the most., “A BBQ Chicken pizza from Joe’s, loaded carnitas fries from Sal’s, and an Oreo shake from Jack in the Box.,” Natasha said without missing a beat, and she stared at Wanda through the car window with the aforementioned pizza in hand. Neither woman moved as they listened to your heavy breathing through the phone, they imagined you were likely sharpening your knives, but really you were just trying to sit up.
“When can I expect my lovely wives to return with my snacks then?,” they both sighed in relief when your voice was suddenly elated., “We’ll be there in less than twenty detka.,” Wanda cheerfully replied, the car was already thrown in reverse as Natasha was buckling up., “All will be fine just as long as we don’t forget my Coke from McDonald’s, because we all—.,” Natasha humorously cut you off, “There’s no Coke better than a McDonald’s coke. We know moya lyubov.,” she shook the icy drink near the phone’s microphone for emphasis and she could practically see your smile as you spoke., “Thank you Natty.,” and just as Wanda went to speak her displeasure you cut her off., “Thank you Wands, I know it was probably your idea.”
Wanda looked to Nat with a cheeky smirk., “Mhm, of course moya lyubov’, food was all me, but handling your day was all Natty.”
“Well, then you both have a good chance at receiving kisses for your efforts, but only if you’re on time.,” and you could actually hear the tires screeching., “See you soon lyubov.,” you giggled while snuggling the purring cats close., “I sure have your mommies wrapped around my finger.,” you mused with one hand on a cat, and the other lovingly rubbing your baby bump., “Gotta teach you now little one, because you and I are about to rule this castle if you get it all down now.”

gosh ur writing is truly amazing 🥹 I'm obsessed! I'm wondering if I could possibly request a Zelda Spellman, Cordelia Goode and reader fic with some angst? I'm currently obsessed with these characters rn and you honestly write them both so well🙃 if not tho that's fine <3
Cordelia Goode x Zelda Spellman x Reader - I'll crawl home to them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: I am obsessed with this request!! Thank you 🫶🏻 I have missed writing for Zelda and after rewatching the whole show I just kept thinking about this idea, Cordelia makes it even better. I hope you enjoy and this is what you wanted <3 For any witch experts on here, please ignore some of the witchcraft and rituals, I wrote it to fit the storyline and it's not too accurate to both Delia and Zelda's powers. Also, I wish I could have carried this on for a lifetime but it was long already.
warnings: mention of death, mention of witch hunters, mention of violence, mention of guns, mention of blood, mention of smoking, angst, fluff at the end

Sitting at the breakfast table in the academy's dining hall, Cordelia stretches her arms, feeling the satisfying pop of her joints. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the scent of warm pastries, that the supreme had prepared hours ago. Zelda sits across from her, with grace buttering a slice of toast, her usual newspaper beside her. Both women look relaxed, yet tired, the week's demands having taken their toll on the headmistress and high priestess.
As you walk into the room, balancing a tray with breakfast items, you set it down with a soft thud, both of your girlfriends greeting you with content smiles. The three of you had barely seen each other all week, each wrapped up in the responsibilities of running their respective academies. Cordelia lived in New Orleans, running Miss Robichaux's Academy as headmistress plus supreme, Zelda living in Greendale, both teaching and leading the Academy of unseen arts for witches and warlocks. You had originally spent a majority of your time in Greendale, growing up there, before eventually wanting to see more of the world and finding a certain blonde far away.
Fate had bounded you together again, as both Cordelia and Zelda had known each other from countless council meetings in the past and when the three of you reconnected and realised that you all not only knew each other but had a certain attraction towards each other, one thing eventually led to another. You hated the idea of being far from either of your lovers but as the three of you mastered the ability of teleporting, Zelda additionally knowing how to astral project, it made the whole thing a lot easier. The three of you practically lived at Miss Robichaux's now, despite Zelda still calling Greendale her home and making an appearance at her home at least twice a day. This week she had only been in Greendale, as there had been some troubles with newer witches and warlocks at the academy. You had always been stuck in between, wanting nothing more than to help your girlfriends out with the burden that their responsibilities brought. And so you mostly split yourself, teaching and helping Delia in the mornings and working besides Zelda in the afternoon, before eventually collapsing into a bed with either of them, whether that was Greendale or New Orleans.
This is partially the reason why you enjoyed weekends so much as you knew you could always spent it with both of your girlfriends as they made those their priority, knowing if they didn't, this relationship wasn't going to work out. The three of you dig into breakfast, enjoying the rare moment of silence and the comfortable embrace of sitting beside each other. For a while, you simply savour each other's company, the peacefulness of the morning making the moment even more precious.
,,So, what do you both have planned for today?'' you ask, breaking the silence eventually. Cordelia sighs, setting her coffee cup down. ,,Unfortunately, I have an urgent meeting with the council. They've been quite insistent on discussing the new security measures, since.. you know'' she says, Zelda rolling her eyes slightly at her statement. Of course you knew what the supreme was talking about, several academy's and covens having been attacked lately and you knew this was far more important.
As you glance at Zelda, hoping she would at least be free, she shows the same guilty glance as she lights a cigarette. ,,And I'm afraid, I have to join Cordelia'' she huffs, knowing security measures are important but equally she wanted nothing more than to at least have a break this weekend. You nod thoughtfully, forcing a gentle smile and pretending this didn't hurt but at the same time who are you to whine about something as important as this. ,,I'm sorry sweetheart'' Cordelia coos, brushing her hand against your cheek with a guilty expression.
,,It's okay Delia'' you reassure but both witches are able to see right through you, not just due to their magic and abilities but also having been by your side for a very long time and knowing whenever you are playing it cool in front of them. ,,How about dinner tonight? just the three of us?'' your redhead girlfriends suggest and you beam a little upon hearing her offer. ,,Would you both be done by then?'' you ask a little hesitantly, knowing that those kind of meetings can take hours sometimes. ,,We'll make sure we are dear'' Zelda encourages and you trust her every word. ,,I'll take care of it'' you announce happily before Cordelia's brown eyes meet yours.
,,You don't have to sweetheart'' she tries with a head tilt but you are quite adamant, always happy to make your lovers happy. ,,What do you have in mind my love?'' Zelda asks affectionately as she abandons her cigarette in a nearby ashtray. ,,I'll see what I can find, leave it to me'' you announce happily before they nod contently. And so, with a plan in place, the three of you finish breakfast, enjoying the fleeting moment of togetherness before the days responsibilities pull you in different directions. You are the first one to leave, wanting to give both witches some space to prepare for their meeting and wanting to make sure you could make this dinner special. They both part you with loving glances, thank yous and kisses goodbye.
,,I need to stop by home first, Hilda has some kind of emergency apparently'' Zelda announces to her blonde girlfriend with a hint of annoyance in her voice. ,,Oh, is everything alright?'' Cordelia asks, concern laced in her voice, ,,Don't worry, probably a baking disaster of some sorts'' the witch snorts and the blonde can't help but smirk at her girlfriends antics. ,,See you there'' she smiles before they kiss goodbye. While Zelda teleports back towards greendale, you make your way towards the markets, Cordelia getting ready for her meeting and glancing over the documents they had sent beforehand one more time.
As you make it to the markets, you instantly feel at home, as Cordelia would take you here often on weekend mornings, picking up either flowers, ingredients or fresh produce with you. She had always made it a habit but since knowing you she enjoyed going with you even more, even before the two of you had become so close, although as you think about it a little further, you believe one of the reasons you had fallen for the supreme was how she took you around the markets with the brightest smile, holding onto your hand and guiding you from stall to stall with such excitement that it made your heart quickly beat faster for her. You had thought about the kind of meal to make on your way there already and eventually settled on both Zelda and Cordelia's favourite. As you walk through the markets, greeted by some familiar faces as they recognised you by now, you purchase several different ingredients.
Meanwhile, Zelda had made it to her home in Greendale, brushing past Ambrose who had greeted her with a quick ,,Hello Auntie'' before rushing into his room with several books and snacks as if he was planning something. And if Zelda wasn't so busy, she would have investigated what he was up to but she couldn't make the time to care. ,,What is it Hilda? I'm incredibly busy with this council business'' she huffs as she walks into the kitchen, feeling both annoyed and a little on edge what her sister wanted. The blonde stands by the kitchen island, some fresh cupcakes in front of her, as well as a fresh pot of coffee and tea. Zelda approaches with a raised eyebrow before glancing at her sister. ,,So?'' she asks with a raised eyebrow before the blonde looks away, trying to remain serious. ,,Well you have been so busy at the academy and you know.. with your girls'' she begins, giggling excitedly at the later part. ,,And I just really wanted to catch up'' she speaks, forcing a bright smile in the hopes that Zelda wouldn't be too upset and end up killing her for this.
,,Catch up?'' Zelda scoffs almost sarcastically as she couldn't believe her sister made her come all the way here for that. ,,Oh please Zelds, I made your favourite'' she tries with a beaming smile and the redhead simply rolls her eyes before taking a seat, lighting a cigarette and letting Hilda pour her a cup of coffee and slowly sliding a plate with a cupcake in front of her. ,,So how have you been Zelds? the girls?'' she asks excitedly and despite her cold demeanour, the redhead appreciated the gesture nevertheless, after the last year having grown closer to her sister than ever before and even if she wouldn't admit it to anyone or herself she had missed her, especially being so busy lately.
While the two sisters catch up, Cordelia had made her way to the council meeting, making it there way too early but wanting to catch up with some of the people from the academy's that had been attacked and hoping to offer her support if they needed anything at all. As the weather had taken a turn for the worse, you decided that you wouldn't be able to find the last few ingredients at the markets, trying another store but after this also being unsuccessful, you decide to abandon the things you had purchased already at the academy, before heading to Greendale, hoping you could either find some other seasonal things there or possibly being able to ask Hilda for some assistance what to do about this meal, because you knew by now if anyone could cook or bake then it was her. With practiced ease, you teleport into Greendale, stopping by the Main Street first before heading into a shop.
,,You're late'' Cordelia states with a chuckle as Zelda finally joins her for the council meeting, the redhead instantly rolling her eyes. ,,Everything okay with Hilda?'' the supreme asks, always having been fond of her girlfriends sister and especially her kindness and humour. ,,Yeah, believe it or not she wanted to catch up'' the redhead huffs before Cordelia tilts her head a little. ,,That's very sweet'' she coos, quickly stealing a kiss before the two of them make their way into the main room, joining both the council and the other headmistresses and witches and warlocks in charge from academy's around the country. Thunder begins rumbling outside, illuminating the room with bright flashes, matching the seriousness of the subject, as well as a certain witches mood.
Time seems to pass by as slow as possible, Zelda fidgeting with her rings as she was growing impatient, wanting nothing more for this to be over and to smoke, while Cordelia listened intently, knowing the importance of this, despite finding her girlfriends antics quite adorable. ,,You know'' Cordelia begins whispering ,,You can pretend to go to the bathroom and steal away for a smoke'' she chuckles and Zelda smirks, finding more and more reasons why she loved Cordelia. In a swift motion, she stands up, straightening her skirt before excusing herself to the bathroom, the supreme trying hard to suppress a smile as Zelda walks away, swaying her hips more than necessary on the way out, causing for the blondes cheeks to be coated in a slight red shade. For a moment, Cordelia reaches for her phone, checking for any notifications but there aren't any and it leaves a slight bitter taste in her mouth as you hadn't checked in with her yet and it had been hours of them being here.
As Zelda returns a few moments later, having tried to cover up the smell of smoke with some perfume, Cordelia again leans in close before whispering ,,Have you heard from Y/N?'' and the redhead simply shakes her head, however noticing the concern laced in her girlfriends features. ,,I'm sure she's fine, probably getting lost shopping at the markets or blasting music while preparing dinner'' and the supreme chuckles, able to imagine both scenarios so well and so she sighs a little before focusing on the meeting again as both her attention and input was undeniably needed, considering she was the supreme after all.
It's not until hours later when the same concern seems to reappear on the supreme's features and mind as they had both finished the council meeting and neither had a message. Cordelia's concerned brown eyes meet Zelda's green ones and despite the redhead knowing her girlfriend was prone to overreact and worry too much, she also found it a little strange, despite her not one to admit such a thing. ,,I'll call her'' the supreme announces, clutching the phone to her ear in anticipation. ,,Straight to voicemail'' she announces before her eyebrows furrow in confusion. ,,I'm sure she'll be home'' Zelda tries encouraging the supreme before Zelda reaches for Cordelia's shaky hands before the two of them teleport back into the academy in New Orleans.
As soon as they step inside, they find both darkness and silence, the academy both dead quiet and no one inside. All of the witches had left for the weekend and so it was no surprise, however you not being there concerned them. ,,Maybe she went to Greendale?'' Cordelia suggests and despite that outcome not making any sense, Zelda agrees, sure this was just some mixup. ,,Let me go and check, you stay here incase she comes back but I'll let you know'' Zelda reassures, holding onto the blondes hands before pressing a kiss to her forehead in order to ground the supreme a little. With a comforting smile, the redhead disappears in front of the supreme's eyes, quite literally blasting into dinner at her home in Greendale.
,,Zelds? what are you doing here?'' Hilda asks with a hint of concern and surprise after having seen Zelda hours before to catch up. ,,I-'' she begins but before she can finish, the phone interrupts them, causing Hilda to hold up her finger ,,Just a sec''. The blonde hops towards the telephone before speaking ,,Spellman Sister's mortuary, how may I help?'' the blonde speaks with excitement, before her features turn incredibly serious. ,,Oh dear right'' she says, listening to the person on the other side of the phone speak further and share some more details. ,,And you are sure on the name?'' she asks before her features both tense and drop further. Zelda doesn't pay much attention to the call as she had gotten used to them by now, before lighting a cigarette, wondering whether you may have been here and she may have simply just missed you and you may already be with Cordelia by now.
However, with a soft whoosh Cordelia appears right beside the redhead, causing for her features to wash over with confusion. ,,Cordelia?'' the redhead speaks in confusion, abandoning the cigarette she was about to light. ,,I- something is wrong, I don't have a good feeling'' she explains, the concern written across her face. Zelda watches as Hilda returns, her expression unreadable as she locked both shocked and traumatised. ,,Hilda?'' the redhead asks in a serious tone, having seen that expression a few times before. The supreme's head snaps towards the blonde's, not having noticed her presence until now. ,,Um- they- are'' she begins, unable to finish her sentence. ,,They- bringing- a body'' she stutters, before Zelda rolls her eyes, having more important things to worry about as of right now. ,,Well yes Hilda, this is a mortuary after all'' she hisses, but Cordelia can already tell that something was wrong.
,,It's- oh god how am I going to say this-'' she begins, tears welling in her eyes. ,,Just spit it out'' Zelda hisses, not in the mood to deal with her sister antics. ,,It's Y/N'' she finally announces, before the room begins spinning for both the redhead and blonde, staring at Hilda in both disbelief and shock. ,,Oh don't be ridiculous, it can't be Y/N'' Zelda remarks, covering up her inner turmoil and disbelief of her sisters statement. ,,I-'' Hilda stutters, unsure what to say as the people on the phone seemed quite adamant. Cordelia remains frozen in her spot, her worst fear finally coming true and her not having any doubts about this as you had been nowhere to be found. ,,What did they say? how do they know its her? why would she be in Greendale?'' Zelda begins questioning her sister as she paces around the room, lighting a cigarette. ,,I don't know Zelds, I'm so sorry'' Hilda announces, taking a seat at the table as the shock had rippled through her bones.
,,How long until they get here?'' Cordelia finally speaks, meeting Hilda's eyes before the blonde looks down. ,,About twenty minutes'' Hilda announces, offering the supreme to sit but she declines, feeling like her world had stopped spinning when hearing her statement. Zelda remains pacing, with each minute passing, her impatience growing as she lights cigarette after cigarette, chain-smoking her concern away and still thinking this is some kind of mixup. The three of them are startled, as Ambrose steps into the room excitedly, dancing along to some music that none of them could hear. ,,What's for dinner auntie-'' he asks excitedly before laying eyes upon both his aunts and Cordelia and their expressions.
,,Woah what's wrong, who died'' he jokes, assuming this was just some catastrophe at an academy, not realising the extend of the situation yet. Cordelia's eyes swell with tears further as Zelda gives him a glare that could kill him if she tried hard enough. ,,Ambrose darling, they are bringing in a body'' Hilda announces gently, before his features grow serious. ,,It's Y/N'' she carries on before his face turns pale, finally understanding the extend of the situation. His face snaps towards the hallway as he hears a car approaching, quickly glancing at his aunties before assuring ,,I'll go check'' not wanting to put that burden on either of them. ,,Thank you'' Hilda speaks softly, before the real waiting game begins.
Ambrose tries his best to move the body downstairs as quickly and safely as possible. To his surprise, the three women walk down the staircase, joining him with faced filled with hope and anticipation. He is quick to open the body bag, taking a look at the persons features before his heart stops in his chest. ,,I'm so sorry'' he sighs, before their heads snap towards him. ,,No..No.. No'' Cordelia cries out, taking a step closer and seeing your lifeless and pale expression. ,,This can't be'' Zelda sighs in disbelief still, taking a step closer before taking a look at you. ,,That's not her.. that's not our darling girl'' she shakes her head in disbelief, despite the others knowing this was just the shock speaking. ,,I need to.. I need to see her wrist'' Cordelia speaks through tears, before Ambrose glances at Hilda in confusion, the blonde simply nodding through her own tears. ,,She has a little tattoo on her wrist'' the blonde chokes on a sob before Ambrose carefully inspects your wrist, finding the tattoo and sighing.
,,What happened we can fix this, Zelda right?'' Cordelia begs, the shock rippling through her body as she shakes uncontrollably. Now Cordelia was always strong, put together and able to stay calm in situations like these. However after losing most of the people closest to her in her life, watching one of her most promising witches die in her arms, her mother and true mother figure, she couldn't deal with this, not you, not her sweetheart. ,,Ambrose, how long has it been?'' Zelda asks, trying to keep her composure and ignoring your lifeless body besides them. ,,Auntie.. I can't tell like this, I'd need to..'' he begins but his auntie is having none of it. ,,I need to know now'' she speaks through gritted teeth, Hilda in the meantime holding onto Cordelia's sobbing shoulders.
,,Give me some time and I'll figure it out'' he explains, beginning to put on his gown and glasses before Hilda ushers them away and upstairs. ,,Let me make you some tea darling'' Hilda speaks softly, ushering both women to sit down. Zelda remains standing, pacing around the room before again lighting cigarette after cigarette while Cordelia is falling apart on the same chair Hilda had sat her in moments ago. ,,This can't be real, what was she even doing in Greendale for satans sake?'' Zelda hisses, her heels echoing against the floor. ,,I don't know darling but Ambrose will figure it all out'' Hilda tries, trying to remain strong for them, despite the thought of your death also killing her as she had always been fond of you and treating you like a daughter.
It takes around ten minutes before Ambrose rushes upstairs, holding onto the doorframe with a shocked expression, as they all rise to their feet. ,,It's um... it's witch hunters'' he speaks, finally catching his breath. ,,What?'' Cordelia asks in shock before he ushers them downstairs. ,,Remember the bodies you asked me to examine from those attacks?'' he speaks as he examines the bullet further. ,,It's exactly the same like the others'' he recalls. Cordelia's features turn even paler as the extent of the situation settles in. ,,I assume it's been an hour maybe two'' he explains before the supreme seems to snap back into reality. ,,Zelda we need to speak to the council at once, check on the academies'' she speaks and Zelda simply looks at her with a raised eyebrow, caring more about you than any of those things as of right now. ,,We can fix this still, if we try, she may have a chance'' the high priestess speaks, having done her fair share of resurrections herself.
,,Go, we have got this, right Ambrose?'' Hilda offers, before he nods confidently. Cordelia steps over your body before leaning in a little closer ,,You've got this darling, please come back to us'' she begs, a tear running down her features before she presses a kiss to your forehead. ,,I promise we have this'' Hilda encourages her sister, noticing her hesitation. ,,Bring her back to us.. please'' she begs while reaching for your hand and is met with two reassuring glances before the two witches disappear into the night. While they inform both the council and make sure their academies, witches and warlocks are safe, Hilda and Ambrose begin the ritual, gathering the necessary items before beginning the ritual, chanting some latin words and working hard on bringing you back home where you belong.
The last hours had been nothing but painful, after your arrival in Greendale, you had managed to actually gather the ingredients for dinner for your girlfriends. As you glanced at the time, you realised that you still had a while to return to the academy to cook and so you decided to check on Hilda as you hadn't seen her in a week as well as Ambrose. However, you hadn't noticed that someone had been following you, unaware that they had been following you for a while, in New Orleans already days ago and watching your every step, simply waiting for the opportunity to get you alone. Before you knew it and could reach the Spellman's home, they managed to find your trace, dragging you deeper into the woods, demanding answers from you about your girlfriends. They didn't care for you, nothing special, just a simple witch but they had figured your connection to both the supreme and another powerful witch and so they wanted their location, ideally the councils whereabouts to cause as much death as possible.
Much to their surprise, you had remained silent, despite the torture and abuse they had used on you in order to reach their agenda and get their answers. You would have never given anything up, as you would quite literally protect them both with your life, knowing their lives and positions meant so much more than your own. After they didn't get any answers out of you, they felt like they didn't need you anymore, knowing time was running out and so they gave you one last chance before they pulled the trigger, everything going black afterwards. And ever since you had found yourself in this strange darkness. Moments before your life was coming to an end, you had seen a little collection of your happiest memories, growing up in Greendale, meeting Zelda for the first time, teaching alongside Cordelia and spending hours in the greenhouse with her, your first kiss with both of them and your last. After that, everything had been quiet, peaceful and darker than any dream you had ever had.
Eventually, you find yourself in a dark forest and somehow you must have known that this wasn't real as it felt like any other one of your nightmares. Unaware, that you were quite literally fighting death, as Ambrose and Hilda tried their hardest on bringing you back. It was the biggest fight of your life, walking past all of the people you had lost in your life, the people that had guided you, the people that you had lost years ago as they begged you to join them, follow them further into the darkness. But the only thing on your mind was Cordelia, almost being able to feel the way she'd kiss you on the forehead, almost being able to feel the way Zelda would hold onto your hand.
It takes another couple of hours before Zelda and Cordelia return to you, having secured both academies and alerted the council so they could take care of this further as their main concern was you. As they find themselves in the basement again, they are surrounded by candles, Cordelia a little shocked as she knew about the different kind of magic Zelda practiced but never having seen a ritual quite like this and the darkness of the whole thing. ,,Any news?'' the supreme asks, anxiously as she finds Ambrose and Hilda sitting beside you. ,,No.. it's all up to her now, she needs to fight her way back to us'' he explains, before they nod with sad glances, Zelda's green ones meeting Cordelia's brown ones. They join them in the end, sitting beside you on the floor, praying in their own ways, Zelda praying to Hecate and Cordelia begging over and over again for someone to bring you back.
,,You can do this darling, you need to find your way back to us'' Cordelia whispers, tears pouring down her cheeks as it had been hours of them sitting there. And after hours of aimlessly walking through the forests of death, you finally manage to get towards the end, hearing their voices literally calling for you. However, the fight against life and death wasn't that easy, as you walked past what looked like your own grave, your name engraved on the gravestone and the thought of you being buried in this dark forest made you feel uneasy, wanting nothing more than to return home. And so with one last effort, you keep crawling towards them, at this point beaten and defeated by the looming shades of death. And then with one loud shriek you finally take a breath, your entire body on fire and hurting as the wound from the earlier bullet impact that Ambrose had successfully removed stings through your entire body.
,,Y/N'' Cordelia breathes out in relief as she begins sobbing uncontrollably. ,,Oh praise Satan'' Zelda breathes out in relief, wiping at her own tears. Ambrose raises an eyebrow at her statement, before Hilda pats his shoulder. ,,Well done darling'' she praises him as he sighs in relief that this ritual had actually worked. ,,Darling it's okay shh.. don't speak'' Cordelia coos as she watches you struggle against this pain. Zelda could only imagine what you must feel like as of right now, having seen this kind of awakening a few times. ,,You need to rest my darling girl'' she coos before the supreme softly strokes your cheeks, guiding you softly back to sleep as she knows you are safe as of right now.
Eventually, they managed to get you upstairs, into Zelda's bedroom, keeping you comfortable as they had washed and gotten you into some new and less bloody clothes. Cordelia watched in pain as Zelda carefully inspected and treated your injuries, some very visible ones as your body was coated in bruises and cuts from the attack. They both stay right by your side, Cordelia having used one of her spells to ease the pain. Zelda having some magic tea from Hilda right by your side for when you would wake up. The two witches had in the meantime settled on the bed beside you, wanting nothing more than to stay right here for you whenever you would wake next, despite knowing it could take hours, possible days for that to happen as your body needed the right amount of time to adjust and regain it's strength.
The next time you wake it's several hours later, the moon illuminating the dark bedroom. As you open your eyes, you realise the unfamiliar surroundings and panic for a moment until you realise it's your girlfriends bedroom. Inspecting your body and the lack of pain due to Cordelia's magic, you debate whether it had all been a dream for a moment. With shaky legs, you manage to rise to your tired feet, turning on the little lamp in the corner in order to see, before laying eyes upon Cordelia and Zelda, sitting against the head frame of the bed and resting on each other's shoulder, still in the clothes they had been wearing this morning. And then everything dawns on you, the attack, the forest and waking up on the floor besides your lovers. ,,Delia? Zelds?'' you whisper, as the shock of it all seems to drown you for a moment.
They both immediately wake with a sharp inhale of their breathing, before they rush to your side. ,,Sweetheart, what are you doing up?'' Cordelia speaks, her voice filled with concern. ,,I- I woke up'' you explain in confusion, your voice still hoarse from the events. ,,Sit down my love'' Zelda instructs and you oblige, feeling fatigue wash over you. Cordelia helps you to sit down on the bed, before Zelda passes you some water. ,,Drink up'' she instructs and you do as you are told again, the cold liquid feeling nice against your dry throat. As you pass her the glass again, you suddenly find Zelda crying, despite trying to hide her sniffles. ,,Why are you crying Zelds?'' you ask in confusion, your eyebrows knitting. ,,Darling, do you remember what happened?'' Cordelia asks gently, not wanting to overwhelm you with the truth.
,,I think I was dead?'' you question, meeting their gazes as their faces turn a little paler. ,,You're safe now darling, we brought you back'' the supreme coos, before taking you into her arms. ,,Who did this to you?'' Zelda hisses before taking a seat beside you and gently stroking your bruised and beaten cheeks. ,,Witch hunters I think'' you speak, trying to recollect what had happened. ,,I don't know who they are but they..'' you begin but quickly stop yourself, not wanting to concern your girlfriends further. ,,They what?'' Zelda asks with a hint of seriousness in her voice as anger overtakes her and she was for sure going to kill them once she found them. ,,It's okay, doesn't matter'' you quickly try to brush it off but Cordelia can tell there was more to this and she desperately needed to know in order to find them.
,,Come on darling, tell us'' the supreme encourages, gently moving your chin so you can face her. As your eyes lock with her brown pleading ones you begin speaking again ,,They wanted the councils location and both of yours'' you admit, almost whispering. Cordelia's eyes close, instantly understanding the extend of the situation and knowing that this happened because you'd rather protect them both. ,,And then what? they just shot you anyway?'' Zelda asks in confusion, not having the full picture yet. ,,No honey'' Cordelia tries but you simply glance into your lap before explaining. ,,I didn't tell them anything'' you mumble into yourself before Zelda's head snaps towards you. ,,And why ever not?'' she asks in confusion before you whisper ,,Because I would rather keep you both safe''.
The statement causes for silence to fill the room, Cordelia simply pulling you into her arms again, holding you close to her chest, knowing her sweetheart to be a fighter and she knew that you would rather keep them safe, given your history and what a fighter you truly are and how big your heart had always been. Zelda struggles to understand your statement, while she would have told the witch hunters to go to hell and not say anything either, she doesn't understand why you didn't. She'd rather have them find them and fight them herself, rather than seeing you in danger and this extend of pain. Slowly though, as gentle brown eyes meet hers, she begins relaxing a little, understanding how true and how big your love for them truly was in order to sacrifice yourself to keep the both of them safe.
,,You did a brave thing my love'' Zelda finally speaks, gently taking your hands into her own. ,,But do me favour?'' she asks, encouraging you to meet her eyes. ,,Please never do that again'' she tuts and you and Cordelia can't help but chuckle, feeling a little lighter being in their arms again and seeing your girlfriend back in her old antics and habits. ,,Promise'' you whisper before holding onto the redhead. ,,I'll never stop keeping you safe though'' you mumble before she raises an eyebrow. ,,Maybe we can work on other ways for that sweetie'' Cordelia tries before you smile at her with a nod. After being in their arms a little while longer you glance at the supreme once more before fiddling with your fingers as a nervous habit. ,,What's going to happen now?'' you ask anxiously and the blonde can quickly tell what you are referring to. ,,The academies are safe, the council is handling it and will find them, I promise'' she reassures.
,,So you'll both stay tonight?'' you ask and your girlfriends eyes lock as your question kind of kills them both. They realise then that they had been prioritising the academies too much in order for you to ask this kind of question after a day like this. Without speaking, they decide here and there to dedicate more time to you, more time with the three of you and to figure this out for you. ,,Of course we will stay, silly'' Zelda tuts, before lovingly stroking your cheek and pressing a soft kiss to your lips. ,,Bummer about that dinner'' you sigh after a while, causing your girlfriends to chuckle lowly. ,,Are you hungry darling?'' Cordelia asks softly and you shily nod, considering the time. ,,What do you want, anything for my darling girl'' Zelda speaks softly and you shily glance at her before requesting some grilled cheese. ,,On it'' she chuckles before pressing a kiss to your cheeks and leaving for a moment.
Cordelia simply pulls you into her arms, gently stroking over every cut as if you are the most fragile thing on the planet before gently stroking your stomach, careful of the scar that now formed where the bullet had hit you hours before. ,,Does it still hurt a lot angel?'' she asks carefully before you shake your head. ,,Your magic worked well'' you smile before she looks at you in confusion. ,,How did you know?'' she asks before you giggle. ,,Delia I died and then you brought me back, without your magic I'm sure it would hurt a hell of a lot more'' and Cordelia can't help but chuckle despite the seriousness of it all, simply glad to have you back in their arms and to have her same brave girl with the same antics and humour back. And despite knowing this would still be a lot of work tomorrow, both in finding the witch hunters and keeping everyone safe in the future but also working with you through what you had endured. But she feels confident as of right now, having you in their arms, as you quite literally crawled right back to them, never being able to simple leave them like this, even through death.

A Perfect Night for Stargazing
prequel to Wish We Could Be Like That
Pairing: WandaNat x Reader
Words: 2.4k~
Summary: After two weeks alone in the compound, Natasha and Wanda have something important to ask you.
Warnings: none? its pretty much just pure fluff, very brief mentioning of sex, Reader is insecure, bad writing
A/N: I know that you were all looking forward to a sequel, but I received this ask, and my hand slipped. lol Actually, this was half written in my drafts (it got cut from Part One), so I decided to finish it. So here you have it! The prequel no one asked for! I also figured we could use a shot of fluff, before we get back to the angst. I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“See those three that make a triangle?” you ask pointing up at the night sky, “and those six that kinda look like a backwards question mark?”
Wanda looks for a second before nodding.
“That’s the constellation Leo,” you lower your hand back to your stomach.
