#undertale#sans#beautiful... solemn...#Deltarune Sans will never be this solemn i fear#his writing in DR just goes in completely different directions so far#i stay with my Undertale impressions of him - much richer and more profound#jokester... judge... a loving brother... very observant of what others do and say and feel... not to mention probably a physicist#he is all of that and more in Undertale and it's gradually revealed and hinted at for the players to put the pieces together#what is he in Deltarune so far? he doesn't even feel like a mystery anymore there#there's pretty much nothing hinting at his immense love and care for Paps... he seems rather rude and tone-deaf...#nothing hints at him being a scientist or something... and there is nothing related to judgement of any kind#i dont know what Toby plans to do with his DR counterpart but so far he's losing me as a fan (strictly regarding Sans & connections to UT)#(i love my Lightner children i love my Darkner children i adopt them all but this post isn't about them)#sorry OP for the rambling in the tags#it's something i often do on reblogs and youe beautiful art made me think 'man... DR Sans can never be this'#and it kinda hurts ngl#UT Sans stays there in his own game which is peak on its own - i'll separate them simple as that#deltarune spoilers#<< tagging just in case
