Just Finished Rewatching Strong Woman

I watched it with my friend, and at one point she saw Min Hyuk and was like "Look it's Gook Doo's boyfriend!" And I just died 🤣

The other day I momentarily forgot Choi Se Gyeong's name and I freaked out. And when I remembered a few seconds later I was like "No hang on. That sounds waaaaay to familiar, it must be a famous person's name, so what's hers- But no cuz that's definitely her name..." Yeah so I guess that's how much it took over my whole brain 😅

I watch dramas with my family, and it's great because we spend time together, but we also often watch them long after they've aired. So by the time we watch them and I'm now obsessed, now matter how popular the drama was at it's time of coming out, most the world is over it by the time I get there.

It's been a hot minute

I haven't stopped posting, I'll likely post something Kdrama-related just after this in fact, just real quick want to rant about the book series I've been reading.

I've been reading Sarah M. Eden's Jonquil and Lancaster series - they're Regency novels - and they've been great but also devastated my vocabulary. And by that I mean you can often tell in most conversations. So fair warning. They've also entirely consumed all of my time bc book.

So, I started watching Chicken Nugget.

It's like, somehow even more absurd than I was expecting.

Insane

My mom put it this way: The drama itself accepts that the concept is absurd and doesn't take itself seriously and leans into the ridiculousness of it. They fully give into the absurdity and keep that tone consistent

I think about the fact that Eun Gyeol is either named after himself or it's somehow a coincidence daily. Like a lot.

It's like, the only way he could not be named after himself is if they like, forgot his name. And that could be possible by something something time travel magic.

But if he IS named after himself, what about Eun Ho? Like, if this friend meant so much to you that you named your child after him, why your second child???? I can't think of an explanation for that

What is up with these women's genes?! 🤣 Fr. I noticed this upon my rewatch of the episode last night, and I can't stop thinking about it. Like, how?! How do you get your genes to just, like, replicate themselves??? Like, their fathers literally have no genes somehow???
