If Pod E101 hadn't been a reader POV story we would've gotten Ciprean here, who is still a very snarky fun OC in my head who Astrophel keeps around a good long while. He has a habit of trying to make arguments with Astro, who is good at accidentally shutting them down on the basis of how cute and naive they are. But he repeatedly prods Cip for arguments anyway because he finds it charming that Cip isn't the slightest bit afraid to speak his mind even after knowing full well how powerful Astrophel is.

Astrophel's avatar is like a sim btw, he has a "look," but he never has to form it exactly the same way, and he's known for jazzing up details like his ears and markings according to whim.

I have not hosted a contest in ages so here we go, we're giving Do This in Your Style a try!

It features Astrophel because he repeatedly has been my muse lately when creativity gets hard. He's a living nebula, 1/7 of a black hole that gained sentience and split itself to research the ever-growing universe. Astro was the piece created from this being's heart chakra and is embodied by it: being social, sweet, and naturally in tune with others at his best. After some drama involving the creation of a child that angered his sibling, the defacto leader among them, Astrophel is no longer allowed to spend extended visits at inhabited planets but was never told to stay away from space explorers, so that's how he makes most of his friends and gets in trouble these days. Astrophel is made of celestial dust and can form a massive celestial body that can shift mass and size dramatically or create small avatar-like creations inside of relatively simple environments or on planets/crafts.

First prize will be a fully rendered image of up to a full-body single character or a GT interaction image cropped to composition if that floats your boat.

If there are 3 entrants or more, first runner-up will get a colored single character sketch up to fullbody.

If there are 5 entrants or more, the second runner-up will get an uncolored single character sketch up to fullbody.

If I did a DTIYS due at the end of June, would anyone be interested? I'm thinking of doing one themed around Astrophel (with a couple of options since he's a weird one to draw). First prize would be a fully rendered GT commission, with 1-2 runner-up prizes depending on turnout.

Another Potsketch in my run of tiny rooms! The theme this year is western, so I went with an old saloon! Didn't have quite the gumption to color it this year, but I had a ton of fun playing with copic and prisma markers to make it look like an old tintype.

I went to a fundraiser to represent my work and make myself socialize. It was good for me, I think, but I also feel like I've been hit by a truck.

Also, new ceramic piece from awhile ago! It was in a little gallery show. Only one shot of it for now but more to come along with it's siblings from a surface imagery class I was taking, when I eventually have the motivation to set up my photo box!

It's been ages but the time slip with depression is real 💔 regardless, one more on the way! Two were sadly never claimed but a grateful thanks to those three that invested trust and patience in me to help me out of a creative slump. It means a lot! @keydekyie and @ruthlessamor so far.

The depression has still been all too real, but I'm still here! I am working on it and taking one day at a time. I hope to find the energy for some art or socializing eventually, but right now, I'm just keeping it together.

Late night posting 🌙 took me awhile to finish the written bit I made to accompany this and I didn't want to post one without the other. FYI you're going to want to zoom in close on this illustration 😆

I tried writing a reader insert story! Go meet Astrophel if you'd like and enjoy the read! This is a drabble from when Astrophel is more mature and understands a lot about people. I also really want to write him when he's young and causes lots of chaos.

Please tell me what you think! I write quite a bit but I don't share much. It wouldn't be hard to convince me though!

Thank you all for the support 🙏 I'm still not in great shape but I went to the doctor and made some strides toward recovery. One day at a time.

I'm so ready to not be depressed but it's going to be such a process to lift myself out of the hole this time.

Can I just cease to exist for 10 minutes and get a soft reset?

I'm gonna find some holds and start crawling my way back to the surface. I know I have essentially disappeared, but I hope you all have some hope for me.

Check it out I re-dyed my hair and even tried putting on real makeup for the first time ever just to get my ass out of the house and to the office because I am too low for much else lately, but a start is a start.
