He stared at the woman, perched high on her throne with her elbow propped on the arm, her head pressed against her knuckles and her legs shifting to fold under the sheer fabric of her dress. He stood in the large throne room, six heavily armed and highly skilled guards standing either side of the Queen with three to an arm.

“Seven hundred and sixty-nine people died for my cause,” the woman repeated. “I remember their faces. Their names are a constant scream in my mind, their names carved by my own hand into the throne you so desperately wish to rip from my grasp. So I ask again, Alexander, how many have you murdered in cold blood to see my head fall from my shoulders and roll on the Dead King’s marble flooring?”

Alexander took a trembling step backwards, the scarred wings on his back flaring in warning as two of the guards -lean, muscular Shifters who,would rip the wyvern apart before he could flee- stepped forward and pulled the scythes off their backs.

“That isn’t a fair question, Lyra! I didn’t mean to lead them into a war!” The man rasped, falling to his knees. “Everyone follows the hero! So why is the villain getting the recognition?!” Lyra’s face contorted into a scowl, black magic ripping from her skin and building around her as demons clawed their way out of the guards’ shadows.

“Because they heard the pleas of a mother who lost her children to someone who was supposed to protect them. Not sacrifice their blood to play peacemaker,” Lyra whispered as she stood. The demons screeched, and lunges for their first meal in centuries.

“How many people have died to achieve this world domination of yours?” “769.” “…What?” “769 people died to achieve my plans. I counted them, and had each of their names etched on my throne so I never forget what my victory cost the world. Now tell me, how many have you killed to see me dead?”

This is an AU where Tsu’tey survived and ran off to the Metkayina of Awa’atlu in shame, where he bonded and mated with a Metkayina woman named Saeyla and had you, his little Txampay Tsamisyu – his little Ocean Warrior.

You quickly adopted Rotxo, Tsireya, and Ao’nung as your friends when it became clear you were the only child who could handle all of them together. Saeyla is gravely ill and Tsu’tey has been sent beyond the reef to go deep sea hunting with a neighboring clan, the F’nalti and he doesn’t return until the Tulkun do after Kiri’s seizure

You are bonded to a Tulkun named D’vi, your spirit sister, and a male Ikran named V’ili, birthed from your father's Ikran. You know of your heritage and connection to both forest and water so you don’t take kindly to Ao’nung’s bullying when the Sullys arrive

Also, because my brain demands it, Tsu’tey and Neytiri are close friends, best friends, and his ‘death’ hit Neytiri harder than she thought it would so cue the breakdown from seeing him again

There is another Sully child, an oc of mine for Ao’nung to have a relationship and see the impact his bullying has on others because let’s admit it the boy needs his head pulled out of his ass.
