Big congrats to my buddy Ethan Banville for having the #1 kids show on #Netflix in the world #8 overall! He was one of the first interviews for my @screenheatmiami podcast with co-host @jlmartinez17. Had to get in at 3:15 a.m. for 2 hours but what an incredible panel in Kenya (I attended virtually) sponsored by the Kalasha international film and entertainment market, the Kenyan Film Commission (KFC) and Ada Animation. With the CEO of the KFC (next frame), head of the South Africa Film Commision and heads of two of the leading production companies in Kenya as fellow panelists it was an incredible, in depth discussion of the industry there and around Africa, currently and the future. Having lived and worked in South Africa and a comprehensive trip last December to Kenya on behest of the Ada Animation it's exciting to see such development and the industry developing in leaps and bounds. I’m heading back to Kenya tomorrow! Ok, only virtually but what an incredible time I had last December at the Kalasha Awards (Kenyan Oscars)! Well tomorrow I’m on a panel for Kalasha and the Kenyan Film Commission.  My two weeks there last December was action packed, but another highlight was really getting insight to their incredible film and entertainment industry, one of the top in Africa and one of the fastest growing and getting to know so many in the industry there. And of course connecting with my compatriots at Ada Animation and the graduating mentees of which i served as mentor. The panel will be early 3:15 a.m. est. (10:15 a.m. in Kenya), but well worth it. We're super excited our company @xavatar_ltd has made it to the second phase of the #Alsessor accelerator! It brings some monetary compensation but really so much of the value has been in the development, learning even more ways artificial intelligence and machine learning complements and enhances what we're doing with the company and gaining knowledge in other areas as well (and getting up at 3:30 a.m. to attend virtually in Ireland at their 9:00 a.m.-definitely worth it!). I can certainly understand how it's one of the best AI accelerators in the world. Spearheaded by top AI company Altada, after participating in their summit a couple of weeks ago on a panel about emerging technology I was exposed in a greater way how AI, ML and quantum computing across many different disciplines have enhanced and will give more time, efficiency and ways to advance our processes in so many aspects of our lives.
