Yeah, so I do a lot of characters with headphones on. Here’s Tsukki from Haikyuu! I wasn’t sure weather he was sporting a pair of Sony MDR-ZX100′s or MDR-V55/WHI’s in the anime. Knowing that he’s a high school student, I went with the cheaper, more practical ZX-100′s. hehey!

Hey! It’s been a while! I’ve been all caught with my new job over at Japan Crate in SF so I really haven’t had much time to just sit and draw or design. It’s funny, after these past couple of years “growing up”, I’d end up working with a company centered candy, anime and Japanese pop culture! :)) So yeah, it’s been a trip so far and its brought me back to watching anime again. Here’s a fanart piece of Ranma 1/2 using a new illustration style I’ve been developing. Ranma was probably the first anime I ever grew to love as a kid!

Death from Sandman
Practice, practice! I missed using the tablet! Haven’t really been using it through my grad studies. It’s funny how my “drawing” has mostly been separate from my “design”. Maybe one day I’ll find the right space to merge both skills!

Just got to watching Char’s Counterattack today. I’ve never really followed the original Gundam UC series except for maybe Unicorn. Now I’m really into it! The recurring theme about man’s need for evolution in order to be more adept to our broadening horizons and how politics and social views tend to conflict when change arises, is all so enticing on a philosophical level. I’m all into psychological evolution, projection and metaphysics! If anyone has recommendations on things to read and watch in line with these topics, leave a comment! I’d greatly appreciate it! :D
In my mind, Interstellar would be a pretty good prequel to the whole series! ;)

Here is recent design project I did for a lovely bride and groom to be. I’ve never designed for weddings before and I always thought that it was never going to be something I would take up. But when my good friends, Gio and Reg asked me to design their invites for their wedding, the only answer was “YES! OF COURSE!”
I ended up really enjoying this project. I had to draw from my inner cheesy self who was a sucker for lovey-dovey stuff for juice! Looks like this something I’d be willing to do more of, after all. Maybe for close friends.
Thats all for now. Just sharing the love yo!
CONGRATULATIONS TO GIO AND REG! <3

I build model kits on my free time. (I’ve been having way too much as of recent to be honest.)
Here’s one I recently got to finishing. Its a kit bash between Gundam Wing Endless Waltz and Gundam Wing Hanoo. The paint is of course custom. I’m really happy how the paint scheme turned out! And yeah! it transforms!
I’ll probably call this baby, Gundam Wing Uriel. Basing it on the angel-like motif and the flame swords! Oh, and in case anyone’s wondering AMDG, stands for Ad Majorem de Gloriam.
Okay, I’ll stop geeking out for now!
edit: Just got featured in gundamkitscollection.com!

Hello Tumblr!
It’s been a while! I haven’t been uploading anything for the past few weeks so I thought I’d start sharing little experiments I’ve been playing around with!
Here’s one of the image composites I made using images I’ve taken downtown. It’s inspired by one of my classmate’s, Lynn Yang’s, thesis work; Hidden Cities.
It’s interesting what you could make by dissecting a location into photographs and piecing it back together in parts.

I was surprised to see that Tracy’s been updating the Tender Blender blog! She’s even got posts from our food trips here in San Francisco!

Off the Grid at Fort Mason! As you can tell by these first few photos, it’s a food truck fiesta!

Kiks and I arrived early that Friday afternoon, so there weren’t much people yet.

Also, BACON BACON TRUCK.

Similar to our own Mercato Centrale in...
