I've been deeply passionate on making my own book (Dearly Possessed), but I'm like… scared that it will turn out to be corny or just cringy- and I really don't want to cringe at my own book. And I also don't want to fall on stereotypes or anything else like that. My book's genre is horror, thriller, fantasy/supernatural and what not. And I don't want people going "Oh… another edgy book written by an edgy person, so lame" or something along that line.

So far- for the shortest description of the book: " Vivian hates people, she really does. She makes that clear. There's been 9 people who 'unalived' themselves at the school- why not make it ten? She likes even numbers. She doesn't want to 'unalive' herself because of the bullying, that happens to everyone in the school- unless you're preppy snobby little fucks- if not, if you're a little different? Yeah, hate to you then. But Vivian didn't fit in anywhere, she didn't want to. The alts? Yeah, not really. The sports people? She hates P.E. The nerds? Yeah… nope. Vivian hates everyone. But one bully went too far, they were just meant to pick on Vivian, just a little- they… they didn't mean to push her that hard. They didn't know her head would land on a rock- it wasn't their fault. So they hid her body, throw it down into a opening, in a deep cave- left to rot. But what happens when Vivian didn't actually die? She just passed out- and now she found a weird looking book down there… and her blood gets on it when she reads it and- oops, looks like a demon is now attached to her, body and soul bound. "

Of course, not everything is written here, this is just a short draft that sums up most of the story that I have thought of so far. The main characters (or who I have fully thought of, and why they're in the story): Vivian Vrost, Kiaran (that's the demon) and Caleb- one of Vivian's 'friend's', she doesn't see him as a friend, but he sees her as one (he might also just be delusional and hopelessly in love with her)

but yeah, that's all I have so far. Feedback appreciated. Also, this might change in the future or not, but yeah- is this too much? Or does it interest some of you guys? I'd like some tips<3 Just a little scared this will be a failure like all my other passion projects

(ps. I'm not using the word 'unalive' in the final project, it's only there as a censor<3)
