Regulus favours tragedies. He likes books that make him feel. Books he almost dreads turning the next page of, yet can't resist doing so. He's a fan of eviscerating prose and in-depth character-building. People in the pages to latch onto and themes that haunt him. Stories that leave him destroyed in the aftermath, where he has to lay down once he's finished them and ruminate on all that it taught him, all the emotions it gave him, for hours upon hours, like a safe space to feel anything at all. If the book doesn't leave Regulus feeling like he has a hangover for a week after he finishes it, then it's not his favourite. He likes the ones that exist like a ghost in the back of his head for the rest of his life. It's not only books that manage this. Poetry is good at that, too. Theatre, films, art, music. He wants something that moves him; he doesn't need to figure it out, he just needs to feel it. - Hide Your Fires, bizarrestars
