Card 1: Page of Swords

Page of Swords indicates curiosity, new ideas, and the yearning for knowledge. Ideas, inspiration, curiousness, etc. However it also indicates the need for patience, the need to not get drawn into arguments, the need for communication, and the fighting of injustice. This could suggest that, in your life as J, you had access to some sort of knowledge or insight due to your curiosity, that was integral to fighting some sot of injustice. However, you probably kept yourself from sharing it from fear of causing an internal conflict.

This card also implies that you had a quick wit, and a head full of ideas and musings. You were good at communication, but hesitant to do so due to the possibility of causing arguments. 

Card 2: Five of Swords  

Five of swords indicates conflict, first and foremost. A disagreement leading to a fallout with others, hostility and tension. This hostility you caused most likely drew you into isolation, and even though you won the conflict, you felt like you lost. It was self sabotage in a way. However, the conflict also brought about a needed change, something that pushed your story forward. 

Five of Swords is also said to represent those crimes that we never wish to encounter; crime, theft, bullying, abuse, r*pe, etc. It’s possible you experienced some type of abuse or physical injury as a result of the conflict you caused. This experience gave you wisdom and strength as you overcame it. It gave you the empathy to heal others. 

Card 3: King of Cups 

King of Cups represents emotion, creativity, sympathy, balance, romance, affection, generosity, and married men. This card could suggest healing and coming to be fully in control of your emotions, either through marriage or through a relationship that meant very much to you. You learned to be emotionally balanced, and were compassionate and sympathetic to those around you, including your enemies. Your experiences made you wise, mature, and caring. You learned to accept what you can’t control, and from that found healing.

Hey there! My apologies for accidentally abandoning this blog. I’m in college, and classes have been taking up almost all of my time and energy. Do you know of any guided meditations for memories? I couldn't find any

 Hypnotic Guided Meditation: Past Life Regression by Rasa Lukosiute (the first one that worked for me, female voice)

Hypnosis for Past Life Regression by Michael Sealey (also worked for me, male voice)

i suggest looking up “past life regression” instead of memory recollection or something along those lines, you’re more likely to get results! 

i usually use these two^ when I find it hard to slip into a meditative state, but you might find others that work better for you (i don’t like the ones that have a reverb effect, it gets me spooked, and i like these voices, so!)

also if you don’t like voices in general something like rainymood, brown/white noise or other background noise (cough cough i use my ambient mix pretty often bc Angel Feels) works pretty well!

keep in mind you’ll likely have to listen to these a few times to get anything concrete, so don’t give up! (and try not to fall asleep)

The Change of Clothes

Of course! This certainly had an overarching theme. 

“Out On The Town”  - fun.

 “I was out on the townSo I came to your window last nightI tried not to throw stonesBut I wanted to come insideNow I’m causing a sceneThinking you need a reason to smileOh no, what have I done? There’s no one to keep me warm“

This is a break-up song. The singer knows he has made large mistakes, especially in this relationship, and despite doing his best to move on, always finds himself back under their window, wanting inside once again. You might have had a relationship that you made very large mistakes in. You may have spent that entire lifetime regretful of the choices made, or your perceived lack of “measuring up”. This could have led you down a self destructive path, never stopping wanting the old love back.

“(Coffee’s For Closers)” - Fall Out Boy

The overarching theme of this song is the idea that “only the successful get what they want. In the pre-chorus, the singer compares himself to a manufactured product, saying “when they made me they broke the mold”. This could suggest that in this lifetime you were “made” to intentionally break out of the common molds and stereotypes surrounding you. Other lines suggest feeling like a “mascot” beside someone else’s successes and triumph. Meanwhile others suggest being watched under a perhaps unforgiving public eye. You were most likely a very public figure who was “molded” from early life to fit the role you ended up carrying out, meanwhile still being stuck in the shadow of someone more successful. 

“Stuck”  - temposhark

“ My heart won’t let me beI’m stuck on your memory…All my lifeto find the oneIt took so longand now you’re goneI can’t move on “ 

This song has a pretty obvious meaning. It’s about being unable to move on from your lover after a break up, constantly missing ”the love that we had”. This most likely suggest the same as the first song, and ties into those feelings and experiences. It was an amazing relationship, very in the public eye, that everyone gawked and aww’ed over, yet no one was able to fix it once it was over.

“Jungle Gym”  - Jack Johnson

This song suggest having a childlike, fun-loving nature in spite of the grittiness of the world you’re placed in. Always seeking out the fun in the mundane. It also suggests finding a rhythm and groove to your life that you fit into very naturally. It’s a very upbeat song! 

“Cherry”  - Moose Blood

“ And that face that you give me, when you’ve missed meAnd I’ve missed our go so guide them my childSmoked a lot and I feel so roughGuess this is just what I wanna doKeeping half smoked smokes in the tinTo half fill room‘cos I was young and irresponsible“

Almost as if to contradict the previous song, this is a melancholy song about growing up quickly, suddenly, due to repercussions of irresponsible actions during their youth. It is also about not ending up with the love that you thought you would, and missing them still in the present. You’re probably missing someone you held dear right now, and you might be feeling the fear of growing older. 

“Brain Stew”  - Green Day 

“ My eyes feel like they’re gonna bleedDried up and bulging out my skullMy mouth is dryMy face is numbFucked up and spun out in my roomOn my own, here we go “

This song is, to put it simply, about a drug trip, hallucinations due to insomnia and drugs, delirium, etc. This probably indicates a very sudden spin-out into a deep rough patch during that lifetime. Not necessarily drugs, but something along the lines of the side effects brought up here. Insomnia, hyper-awareness, hallucinations, numbness, lack of motivation, confusion. All the nitty gritty issues.

1. Past Life: Six of Cups. Six of cups is associated with home and childhood. It’s a sign of innocence, youthfulness, idealism, etc! Or of giving out love with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Probably represents that you were a very loving, childlike person with an innocent outlook, or that your life was such. 

2. Personality: Four of Wands:reversed. Four of wands is about “the end of a job well done”, completed efforts, and “achievement of a greater level of understanding”, happy families, and celebrations. Reversed, represents unhappy families, postponed/cancelled reunion, leaving home, cancelled celebrations, etc. Can indicate failure, neglect, insecurities, and self doubt. 

3. Physical Attributes: Two of Cards:reversed. In general, indicates instability or lack of harmony. Can signify that you may fall victim to some form of inequality, abuse or bullying.

4. Environment: Ace of Pentacles. Represents new beginnings, life altering luck, and prosperity. A very good card to get in a Tarot spread as it signifies starting something new which will be very positive for you. Also signifies abundance in all areas of life and security and stability. 

5. Family/Relationships: Seven of Cups. Represents having lots of options to choose from, unfulfilled promises, passive victory, empty sentiments, error, or multiple possibilities open to you. It can be an indication that you have so many choices or so many things going on at once that you may be overwhelmed. 

6. Past Life Experience: Knight of Cups. Represents exciting proposals, offers, good news and invitations. Can also signify affection and warmth or diplomacy! You may have acted as a mediator between parties in resolving disputes. 

7. Death: Page of Wands. In a general context, represents good news that should be coming to you shortly. When applied to a past death, could probably represent you rushing into things too fast without thinking first. Could represent that you died while still young and child-like. 

8. Influence on Present: Nine of Pentacles:reversed. Represents self-worth, over-investment in work, lack of independence/stability/security, deceit/dishonesty, failure, or lack of self-discipline. Could represent that thoughts of your previous life is causing you to lack independence, self worth, and proper work ethic. Alternatively could mean you’re working too hard in one area, and ignoring other areas that need your attention. 

9. Lesson(s): Page of Swords. Represents a need of patience, ideas/inspiration, a need of planning and vigilance, being more protective and guarded, and using your head. May be telling you to be patient, to think before you speak and not to get drawn in unnecessary arguments or conflicts. Could also represent fairness, and speaking out and fighting injustice.

10. Remembering: Balance/Temperance:reversed. Represents imbalance, lack of perspective, clashing, hastiness. Can be an indicator that you are behaving in a hasty or reckless fashion. It can signify of many issues with excessive or harmful indulgences. In this context, I believe this is telling you to slow down a bit, take a step back, and think things through again. Step away from this life for a while, and come back with a new, fresh perspective. Then more memories should come to you!
