It was an amazing story. Nonetheless, I loved it🤍.

Status: Complete

Synopsis: Two people who don't quite fit in. Chinatsu an "assassin" who can't kill and Kasumi a man who can't see. Both of them just want to belong somewhere but Chinatsu fears his past and father make him unworthy of Kasumi's unwavering affection. Although even when Kasumi is told the truth he sees another, the one that isn't a lie.

⭐ My thoughts: This same author as Bride of Ignat SO you know the art is absolutely gorgeous!! The plot is also a lot to think about because it's heavy and heartbreaking but it's also cute and soft between the mc and ml. It's short and the ending had me in tears, I wish I could read this again for the first time 😭. Although the epilogue is very cute (Satoru is such a good brother to Kasumi).

Definitely check it out if you liked Bride of Ignat!

"Little Info About The Movie🪽"

✧ The movie "Ex Ex Lovers" is a Rom-Com film which follows a single mother named Joy, in her quest to find her run away husband due to the wish of her daughter to walk with him on her wedding day.

"My personal thoughts🪽"

☆ This movie was an overall ROLER COASTER. It was funny, romantic, emotional, and mostly sweet. I love the ending of it, the feeling of finally being free from the thing you despised and loved at the same time. It was honestly so sad because a lot of people currently live in this situation. I don't really have anything else to say other than it's an amazing story.

"My Thoughts About the Characters🪽"

✧(M.C.)Joy: Her character was honestly beautiful. She was a single mother, fearing her child facing the same thing she faced, and simply she didn't want that. I honestly am with her. Yes, her daughter shouldn't get married immediately. Marrying someone should be taken slow. And her crash outs were reasonable. Imagine your daughter wanting her absent father to be the one to walk her down the aisle while you were the one there for her, the one who provided for her, the one who took care of her, and the one who didn't leave her but instead stayed. Her character was written beautifully.

☆(M.L.) Ced: I had a love and hate relationship with him. I mean, he is a sweet father, but he was also a bad husband. I mean, letting your wife do all the work while you were in some other country, to just one day being invited by his daughter, that he didn't stay with her whole life. He was honestly good and bad. But I love his redemption and acceptance of Joy's decision at the end. They were soulmates, him and joy, but just as best friends.

The movie was a solid 8/10. I just wished that SC's boyfriend really changed and promised the best, and that's it. The movie was definitely a solid, nice rom-com movie that I would recommend for some people who like unique endings because the ending of this movie was satisfying.
