This will be 4:00pm GMT to 0:00 GMT
For reference, the votes will be counted on the basis of amount of chapters completed (disqualifying blatant results skewing—presumably, stuff like only playing ch 1 of a book over and over), which breaks down as follows:
One full playthrough of The Elementalists (b1, b2, winter special): 19 + 17 + 4 = 40 chapters One full playthrough of Endless Summer (b1, b2, b3): 16 + 15 + 12 = 43 chapters
So basically one full pt of each one is the same as 0 votes for TE and 3 for ES
Reminder that the voting period is from June 25, 9:00am PDT to July 9, 5:00pm PDT

Last night I read Volume 12 of Saga by Brian K Vaughan and this very much felt like a calm before the storm story by setting up quite a lot to come.
Reading how Alana has adapted her situation after the events of Volume 9 was quite something. Let's give a shout out to single parents!!
I feel like the main two new characters introduced in this one will be sticking around for quite a while.
All that being said, it looks like that is it for now as there is no sign of a release date for issue 73 and this volume went up to 72. Having been doing some reading, it looks like there are some things happening outside of the work, but I am more than happy to wait.

Looks like Damian is sticking around as Robin. Curious as to what leads to that decision. I'm absolutely going to have to check out this series and find out everything that leads to him originally making the decision to step away and become a different kind of hero, and what leads to him staying on with a new suit!

Not long finished Storm Volume 1: Earth's Mightiest Mutant by Murewa Ayodele, and WOW, this was really good, quite the kick off to this series.
Ororo herself was really well written and it was really cool to read the different sides to her.
There is a lot going on in this with Ororo's story as well as what is going on around her, but it's written so that it can still all be easily followed and not become confusing.
Like with any first volume of a series there are some questions, but those are questions that I'm sure will get answered as the series progresses.
Definitely looking forward to volume 2 when it releases (which unfortunately isn't until the end of the year).

Creating Cole Young in Mortal Kombat 1
BACKSTORY Once a member of the Lin Kuei, Cole asked the old grandmaster to be able to leave when he fell in love with a woman named Allison. The grandmaster allowed him to follow his heart and they soon married and had a daughter called Emily. When word reached him of the threat of Bi-Han and the Lin Kuei turning it's back on being defenders, Cole knew it was only a matter of time before they came for him as he never saw eye to eye with Bi-Han and Sektor. And so, he prepares for kombat once more.
ENDING
"In the wake of Titan Shang Tsung's defeat, I knew Bi-Han would come for Allison, Emily and I. So I took them to the Shaolin in the hopes that we could live as normal as possible, but it was there that Liu Kang told me about the Kuai Liang and Tomas founding the Shirai Ryu. Knowing I could still trust them, we went to Japan where we were taken in with open arms. And I gave my skill to my new clan to protect Earthrealm, but more importantly... protect my family.
DESIGN
So for design I could see him in more of an orange version of the Lin Kuei uniform kind of like the first palette for Scorpion. Or perhaps because of his lower position, the standard grey with hints of orange like the second one.
And then perhaps a very simple mask as he isn't in as high a position as Bi-Han, Kuai Liang, and Tomas were, so I would say something very simple like this but maybe in orange instead of blue, yellow, or grey. And then keep his tonfas from the movie as well as the shorter hair.

Just finished Black Cat Volume 6: Infinity Score by Jed Mackay, and this ended up being a very character driven story with why Felicia was going after the infinity stones. Which, by the way, I'm wondering when they became a part of people, making them powered rather than being the colourful rocks.
But yeah, I enjoyed this, and the ending gave me a laugh.
On the whole, I really enjoyed this series. Jed Mackay did some fantastic exploration into Felicia while fantastically showing how she blurs the line between anti-hero and occasional villain. I am more than happy to say that Black Cat has become one of my favourite Marvel characters.
What I liked was how at most of the points, although there could be some dark points, there was still some light to it with how Felicia is, and the series is also fun to read. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Plus it's Jed Mackay, all the stuff of his I've read I've enjoyed. My hat off to him with how many titles he writes.
I am looking forward to seeing what G. Willow Wilson does with her once her run begins in a couple of months. Will definitely be picking up Volume 1 when that releases.

Not long finished Black Cat Volume 5: I'll Take Manhattan by Jed Mackay, and bloody hell, this was something.
It was what everything beforehand had been building towards, and then took a turn that I didn't see coming until it happened. But the way it was executed was cool to read.
With only one volume of this series left, I am curious to find out how things will go.
Black Cat is very definitely becoming a favourite.

Not long finished Black Cat Volume 4: Queen in Black by Jed Mackay and this was an interesting tie in to the King in Black event. I have to admit, I think Felicia is becoming one of my favourites.
Admittedly, I don't fully remember all of the story for King in Black, but it was cool finding out what Felicia was doing during this event and how she ended up playing an important role. It was made very clear her thoughts on Eddie and Venom, probably for the best they didn't run into each other.
Like with last volume, they kitted her out in some new outfits with one being made from a piece of the Anti Venom symbiote and then her becoming a goddess when she took up what was left of Doctor Strange's Yggdrasil staff. It was interesting to see how the magic within the staff tried to tempt Felicia and become a full time goddess, and how she sees it all. All while fending of Knull's army.
This also dived into Lily Hollister / Queen Cat and it was interesting learning about how she saw herself as well as her thoughts on Felicia. I did have a quick look to see if she had her own solo series, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I do remember her being in Cult of Carnage: Misery, but other than that, this series is the only other place I have seen her.

Last night I read Black Cat Volume 3: All Dressed Up by Jed Mackay and I think this might have actually been my favourite one so far of the series. All the hassle it has been to try and pick up a copy was worth it.
The way she went about fooling Stark and getting what she needed was really cleverly executed and her Iron suit design was SO COOL.
The annual story in this also was a really cool read and showed that Felicia is indeed a good person. The way she blurs the lines between hero and anti-hero is really interesting. Looking forward to seeing how the culmination of her heists plays out!

Finally got to starting Olympus Rising, and I'm interested so far.
One random thought I had at one point was when Apollo mentioned about it being easier to ask a different pantheon about gods dying, and my thought was that he could be referring to the Norse pantheon, suggesting Ragnarok has happened.
So while that means no Thor or Odin, or certain others, there is the possibility of Magni and Modi as I know they do survive it according to mythology. Admittedly, I don't know which gods survive Ragnarok apart from them.
But yeah. Olympus Rising. Curious to see what happens and how it all plays out. Both the mystery of what happened to Demeter and how Aphrodite's route plays out.
