My boyfriend wanted to point out that the cover is absolutely beautiful. He just wishes that either the umbrella or the awning were a different color, lol.

I loved this book though. It was cute, it was funny, and it was deep.

I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did.

It's hilarious, sweet, and spicy. Also has some mystery and suspense to it.

I might have to track down the rest of the series, I'm not sure.

Maybe it's because it's a short story, but this isn't my cup of tea. I feel like I'm being fed a whole lot of info at once.

I can't seem to get past the first page or so. My Kindle App says I'm on page 6 of 29, and that's pretty sad.

Okay, so this one gave me heckin' mixed feelings. Got this one for free via Stuff Your Kindle Day.

But... I did read this to 100%... kinda... I honestly skipped the steamy bits... I just... enjoyed the non sexual Little parts more. It was also just so... short...

For starters, the Little and Big scene isn't exactly mine, so I'm not 100% sure where I stand because of that. This does seem to separate the two, but sometimes... I'm just not really sure about it or how I feel.

I'm not sure if I'm going to follow up with this series at all.

But the characters were nice, and the premise is good... I just feel like I wanted a bit more development? Or a bit more time for things to develope? Like, she's been through some things, I feel like she needed more time to heal?

I'm not sure about the writing structure, but I'm sure that can be said of absolutely anything I type ever, so it's actually relatable...

Also screw it, I'm posting this on Goodreads, because I did read all of it.... kinda...

This fantasy romance turned out to be much more than I was originally expecting it to be and I certainly wasn’t ready to be bawling my eyes out at 2am as I read the ending. If you like books filled with angst, forced marriage and enemies to lovers tropes then this is absolutely for you. I have to say though the last 30% of the book is what bumped my rating to 4 stars.\

I wasn't expecting to finish this one. Yeah, it was short, but... sometimes it felt a bit like watching a late night TV show with a laugh track. Like it was missing a certain depth to it.

Other than that, the representation was fantastic. Story is more on the fluffy but spicy side.

Not really sure if I'll be reading more though...

I think about this book often. Because of this book, my entire friend group knows how strongly I feel about the word 'prick' being used in a 'sexy setting'. I personally don't think prick is a sexy word at all.

Like really, the amount of times I've shouted something like "The word Prick has no business describing giant, meaty orc cock" in the middle of a social gathering should probably be embarrassing... but I have no shame...

I didn't finish this book... I'd still like to try again one day, but it just makes me so angry. I've seen so much praise for the author and series though, and sometimes I wonder if I was really fair...
