This shit was absolutely amazing. It was so human it made me so conflicted.

Curly, the Captain wasn't a bad person by any means. He's probably like the second best person in that crew but his ignorance of Anya's suffering trying to make Jimmy take responsibility but being Gaslit by Jimmy into thinking that it's his fault for everything going on in that ship.

Curly's mentality of "It's my responsibility" is very prominent fucking Jimmy knows that and uses it to his own advantage and he doesn't fucking know it. Jimmy makes a mistake and either ignores it or fully convinces himself into fixing it. Jimmy was so focused into Curly's situation THAT HE CAUSED and didn't give one single crap about what did to Anya.

He knew that he was a "Villain" in that situation and ignored it in favor of becoming a hero to curly.

Daisuke Fucking daisuke was just a kid, He was an intern trying his best because he didn't know what he was doing. Swansea knew and could see Daisuke didn't. Swansea despite all my quarrels with that guy was probably the only one to give a reality check but his words meant nothing in the end. Fucking Swansea had to be one to end Daisuke suffering. Swansea found comfort in his life but Daisuke never found any.

This shit is probably the most amazingly written thing in a game.
