Here is my brand new challenge! So many people have asked if I would be doing it again this year and I really hope you will all enjoy doing it! Iâm so excited to get to know you all through the posts and celebrate winter with you!
âïž Info âïžÂ Â
If you do the challenge, use the tag #winter studying challenge so I (and others) can see your posts. I will try to reblog as many posts in the tag as possible.Â
This challenge will run for 6 weeks - from the 1st December to the 14th January
There are daily prompts for every day of the challenge
But, as always, I donât expect everyone to be able to post every day so you can always do catch-up posts!
If you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask!
âïžÂ Rules âïž
If you want to do the challenge, please reblog this post
If you do it on any other social media platform (ie. Instagram), please give credit (my instagram | my tiktok | my pinterest)
The challenge will officially start on the 1st December, but if you come across this later, you can definitely start anytime during these six weeks!
DISCLAIMER: Quite a few of the prompts in December are to do with Christmas because that is what I celebrate at this time of year. I was very aware of that when I was writing the prompts but I did not think that I knew enough about other festivals and holidays at this time to write prompts about them. I did not want any prompts I made to be disrespectful. If you donât celebrate Christmas, please know that this challenge is still for you! You can either just use the prompts anyway (if they are applicable) or adapt them to fit the festival or holiday that you celebrate. If it is impossible to adapt, then simply tell me about what you celebrate during winter because I am excited to learn about them!Â

100 days: LANGUAGE CHALLENGE âą day 4&5
I forgot to update Wednesday(Mercredi) and Thursday(Jeudi) so I will post both days together here. I'll make a separate post for Japanese.
On Wednesday I reviewed the irregular verbs since those are the verbs I struggle with the most. I mostly remember how to conjugate them but will need to review them more in the future to understand them better.
On Thursday I reviewed ĂȘtre e and its conjugations. I spent the thirty minutes writing sentences and reading ones I wrote in the past. This one wasn't too difficult since I did mostly remember when to use it.

day 10 of french | jour 10 de français

if you speak french, please read below the cut and correct me if you see any mistakes :)
Hi all! Yesterday, I did not post my writing because it was short and I wrote about my family to practice so I did not want to publish it online, but today I am posting again! This week, I have been watching a lot of Outer Banks and the second season is incredible! I know that once I finish watching it, I will be more productive, but right now I can't stop! Now, I am watching the ninth episode before the finale. Anyway, yesterday I applied for a job in a lab. I received an interview for next week so I hope it goes well! I listened to the news in French to practice my listening skills. It is a bit difficult, but I know it will become easier with time and practice. I will try to listen to it daily to improve. It is interesting to hear what is going on in France anyway, so the news is very interesting for me. In less than a month, I will be moving into university! I am super excited and a bit nervous. I hope all goes well!

Learning Japanese day 1
While I am doing a language challenge for French I thought I could also do one for Japanese. Today I dedicated about 20 minutes to Japanese and have learned the vowels in Hiragana along with some basic words.
So far I've been using the app Bunpo on my phone. So far it has been really useful by providing explanations for the lesson topic. I'm also open to other suggestions for studying Japanese!

âą 100 days: LANGUAGE CHALLENGE âą day 2
Today I spent the thirty minutes reviewing the conjugations for the verbs(regular and irregular) and listened to some songs in French to remember how it is spoken/pronounced. Mostly listened to Le Festin and it surprisingly helped me remember how vowels and accents are pronounced.

everyone please stay informed and protect yourself to the best of your ability!!
couple important bullet points here:
the people who infected everyone else had gotten negative covid tests before traveling to the wedding
everyone was in a tent. it doesnt say how enclosed the tent was but it would definitely cut down on air flow
doesnt say whether or not people were wearing masks but i suspect not
if these people hadnt been vaccinated, it would have been a lot worse
the big delta wave will hit the US pretty soon, and is already starting in states with low vaccination rates. new mutations (delta plus, epsilon and lambda) are on the way; lambda is more infectious (symptoms and severity are unclear). the CDC is wrong, everyone should still be wearing masks indoors and in crowds (which is what the WHO says anyway). children still arent vaccinated.Â
you do not want to get covid at all, even mild covid. long covid even with mild symptoms is really fucking people up (talk to anyone with a chronic illness about what this is like and hopefully they can scare you straight). even mild symptoms like âbrain fogâ can effectively ruin your life. one guy got tinnitus from long covid that was so bad he committed suicide.
in ten years youre not going to regret being extra cautious right now, but you could very easily regret being careless.

need a break? take it!
âIâm just going to finish this in 30 minutesâ âMy teammates need me to do this so Iâm just gonna finish itâ
There have been times where Iâve tried to continue to complete all of my work, however, things didnât really work out and I felt extremely burned out afterwards. If you think that you need a break, then please consider taking it.Â
Would you want to relax and come back with more energy or sit there endlessly and burn out?
