Miss Korea nuggets

Oh Hyeonkyung's Miss Korea nuggets from ep. 338 ingredients crackers chili powder mayonnaise chicken breast or chicken tenderloin directions mix some chili powder into some mayonnaise. Thinly slice some chicken breast or tenderloin. Coat both sides in the mayo. Crush up some crackers, don’t crush them too much. Press the meat in the crackers. Bake it in an oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Reviews Park Myung Soo: it would be better if it was slightly spicy. Some spicy chilies.. Yoo Jae Suk: there are many kinds of fried chicken but this is nice and savory. Sometimes you get a craving for fattening fried chicken. This isn’t quite like fried chicken but its savory and similar. Han Juwan: fried chicken is fried in oil right, it’s crispy and tasty.. but isn’t that good for you. Cho Seong Ha: give me some beer! You’d keep eating this if you had some beer. Like eating peanuts. Oh Man Seok: the texture is different but it’s really good. This would sell well as a snack at a bar. Votes 7 out of 7

Tomato seaweed soup

Lee Taeran's Tomato seaweed soup from ep. 338 ingredients roasted sesame oil beef tomatoes onions (soaked) seaweed soysauce directions Put roasted sesame oil, beef, tomato and onions in a pan. Add some soaked seaweed and soy sauce. Add some water and boil it.
Reviews Park Myung Soo: this is good. You have kimchi with seaweed soup. That’s what it tastes like, At least it does for me. Yoo Jae Suk: there’s this slight tanginess to it.. that’s what I taste. This actually makes the soup a bit more flavorful. It still has the taste of seaweed soup, but there’s a tangy note at the end. Han Juwan: I really like dishes with tomato in them. This is good.

Salmon bread

Cho Seongha's Salmon bread from ep. 338
ingredients English muffin canned smoked salmon egg mayonnaise tomato ketchup directions Cut out the middle of a piece of bread. Place it on a frying pan. Mix some salmon with egg. Turn on the stove and add the mix in the middle of the bread. add some mayonnaise and tomato ketchup on top.
Reviews Park Myung Soo: it’s a bit different from tuna. It tastes a bit fishy. We don’t eat salmon as often as tuna so the taste is a bit new. When we first saw the dish it seemed like it would be a bit sweet. Its fishy as soon as you eat it. Yoo Jae Suk: I think it’s the smoked salmon. It doesn’t really go with the bread. When we saw the dish it made us happy and excited. Han Juwan: I’ve never had anything like this. It’s like eating tuna. Lee Yoonji: I’d eat this if I was in a rush. On one side of my mouth was the salmon on the other side was bread. It doesn’t go well together.

hongtteok

Hong seokcheon's hongtteok ep. 342 ingredients bread brown sugar sesame seeds nuts butter honey/condensed milk/chocolate sauce directions Flatten two slices of bread. Stuff the inside with a mix of brown sugar, sesame seeds and nuts. Fry it in an equal amount of butter to oil. Fry it on both sides. Eat it with one of the sauces, or make more and use all sauces.
reviews Park Myung Soo: the sugar in the hotteok is completely melted, the sugar in this hasn’t melted. I like this one better. And its amazingly delicious. You can totally sell this. The best thing is the sauce. Yoo Jae Suk: its fabulous. It’s the best thing I ate recently. I can still taste the nutty flavor. Soryong: its nice and sweet and crispy because it’s fried. I’d buy it if he sells it.

happy two more

Song Euni's happy two more from ep. 337
ingredients Rice cake fish cakes instant spicy mixed noodles sauce Honey directions Parboil the rice cakes in hot water. Once they become soft skewer the rice cakes and fish cakes. As the pan heats make the sauce. Add a little bit of instant spicy mixed noodles sauce to the honey. Spread the sauce on the skewers as they grill.
Tip Grill above charcoal Reviews Park Myung Soo: Mothers usually make spicy stir fried fish cakes at home. It’s like that with rice cakes. It’s kind of like a side dish. Yoo Jae Suk: because of the sauce it’s a bit different to the ones they sell in front of schools. Iits a nice and simple dish you can make at home. Djamilya: it’s good. Sungkyu: It’s really good. Hyungjin: good. This would be great with alcohol too, Junha: it’s tasty. As Euni said this dish brings back memories. The sweetness and tanginess go really well together, Misun: this is my third one. It’s a bit spicy and I cant eat spicy food. The honey makes it taste fancy. votes 7 out of 7

Laver instant noodles

Gong Hyungjin's Laver instant noodles from ep. 337 ingredients Noodles Bean sprouts Sausages Garlic Laver directions Make the noodles. Add some brean sprouts and sausages. Add a whole bunch of minced garlic. The key point is the laver. Add a lot.
Reviews Park Myung Soo: it’s good. The texture of the noodles and bean sprouts are different. It’s refreshing and the laver gets stuck between your teeth. Yoo Jae Suk: it’s good. I think it’s because of the garlic but it has a really spicy after taste. It would be good as a hangover cure. Djamilya: It’s too spicy.

Rice cake pizza

Sungkyu's Rice cake pizza from ep. 337
ingredients Rice cake slices tomato sauce kimchi cheese directions Put the rice cake slices in a frying pan. Add a little water so they’ll stick together. Fry until it’s stuck together. Add some tomato sauce on top. Followed by some kimchi and finally some cheese. Put the lid on top and fry it over low heat.
Reviews Park Myung Soo: I think it’s pretty good. It’s really good. It has a nice texture so it’s unique. It’s a good late night snack. Yoo Jae Suk: it’s not really a good combination. It’s sticky. You get the kimchi and the tomato sauce hits you suddenly. They go together but it’s a bit.. like yucky aged kimchi. Djamilya: I think it’s a bit better than Junha’s dish. It’s good.

Lotus root chips and toast

Lee Kyungsil's Lotus root chips and toast from ep. 336 ingredients slices of lotus root salt butter bread mozzarella cheese
directions Slice the lotus root somewhat thicker than potato chips. Let them sit in salt water for 10 minutes. Wipe them down with paper towels. Fry the lotus root in oil. They fry fast so take them out quickly when they’re starting to get a goldish color. Butter some bread. Add the fried lotus root on top with some mozzarella cheese and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Tip: Eat it with a sauce made of Mayonnaise mixed in soy sauce or sprinkle some curry powder on. Crush it and sprinkle it on salads. Snack on it while drinking some beer.
reviews Park Myung Soo: it has the texture of bacon but isn’t salty. It’s like chewing bacon but it doesn’t taste like it. I don’t really like lotus root but this is good. Yoo Jae Suk: it kind of tastes like sweet potato and potato. Something in between. This doesn’t seem like much but it’s savory and addictive. Huh Gak: I brought a potato chips sandwich last time, this tastes so much better. Hyeonsuk: I thought it would tasty heavy since the lotus root is fried. It tastes clean and savory. Shinyoung: it’s nice and chewy. It’s boring if a dish is too soft in texture. But this is fun to eat and chew. Gayoon: I’ve only had braised lotus root. I never knew it could taste like this. Pollack roe rice cake soup

Kim Hyeonsuk's Pollack roe rice cake soup from ep. 336 ingredients pickled Pollack roe Rice cake anchovy broth green onion
Directions Make/heat up some anchovy broth. Add the sliced rice cakes. When it starts boiling add the pickled Pollack roe and sliced green onion.
reviews Park Myung Soo: the Pollack roe looks gross. The should’ve broken up the Pollack roe, this looks like fish egg soup. It’s gross. Yoo Jae Suk: it just tastes like rice cake soup with Pollack roe. But as Min just said, it’s addictive. It’s tasty but, a late night snack needs to have a kick in it. Something that’s really bold. Huh Gak: it’s salty, but it isn’t bad at all. Min: the Pollack roe is too big. It’s addictive. I want to have this with rice.

homemade crepe

Heo Gayoon's homemade crepe from ep. 336 ingredients crepe cheesecake ice cream kiwi strawberry banana whipped cream puffed wheat cereal milk directions Slice the fruit. spread some ice cream on the crepe. Add some fruit on top. Add some cheese cake, add some whipped cream and wrap it up. (drink) Ground up the puffed wheat cereal and mix it in milk.
reviews Park Myung Soo: this drink is a success. Huh Gak: this is good, can I have another? This is awesome, this is good stuff. Min: the drink is tasty. It’s really good. Yoo Jae Suk: I bet girls would like this dish. The ice cream and whipped cream make it cool and refreshing. Then you get the fruit which make it sweet and tangy. Then you get the cake at the end. You can’t eat this if you think of the calories. But if you don’t think about the calories and just eat it it’s really good. Huh Gak: This is good. Can I have another? Min: it’s really good.

Summer pizza

Kim Shin Young's Summer pizza from ep. 336 Ingredients pineapple cherry tomatoes tortilla broccoli paprika cream cheese mayonnaise
Directions Slice the vegetables and fruits. Mix some cream cheese with mayonnaise. Spread it on top of the tortilla. Add the raw vegetables/fruits on top.
reviews Park Myung Soo: when you first taste it the texture seems weird, but as you chew it it tastes fresh. It’s like eating half cooked food. Yoo Jae Suk: it’s pretty good. Fresh and refreshing. The pineapple gives it sweetness. It’s nice that it’s fresh but.. if you served this to your guests you’d want them to leave. Once they eat this they’ll think why wasn’t this cooked. Huh Gak: It tastes bad.
