Your Desert
Sometimes I find myself in your desert,
wandering aimlessly
under the heat of your sun.
All the strength I have left
I use to intensely search
through the endless dunes of sand
for just a mere drop of your water.
I am desperate, so much that one drop
can make me feel whole again
and give me a false sense of hope.
Amidst this drought, I think to myself
If I pour out the water in my soul
into your desert,
then will you give me drink?

To The One Who Loves Him Next
To one who loves him next,
oh how the stars have blessed you
to be able to bask in the light
of one of their own.
Unbeknownst to you,
my heart forever pins here,
on the dark side of the moon,
for the solace of your star.
To the one who loves him next,
please do what I can not.
Hold on tight to him
as if he was the childhood toy
you never wanted mom to wash,
because he is.
Take in his words,
as if they are the medicine
for any illnesses on your soul,
because they are.
Gaze into his eyes,
as if they possess the celestial beauty
of our entire cosmos,
because they do.
To the one who loves him next,
consume his apricity to the fullest,
be loved by him and love him
until the end of time.
But just once in an eclipse,
please let me consume his thoughts,
so at least the memory of me will last
as I perfect my xenization.
You, with the blessing of the stars,
keep close the light of my universe.
You owe me this.
Sincerely,
The one who loved him the most
