My freshman year, I had to BEG my mom to let me go to my best friend’s birthday party (at Chuck E. Cheese), whose mom she was good friends with. I was allowed to go for only two hours and wasn’t allowed to make any other stops on the way there or back.

Three years later, my brother who is now a freshman, just got a ride to our school’s football game without asking, then when the game ended at 9, he got a ride to Cane’s and was there for over TWO hours. I asked him when he’d be home and he said he doesn’t know bc they’re going to Applebee’s.

Meanwhile, I’m a senior in high school. I got to hang out with my boyfriend of seven months for the FIRST time on her day (parents are divorced) for no more than an hour, and had to tell her what we’d be doing and have his dad text her when I got there that he was home. That was last week. I’ve never done anything to betray her trust for that kind of a leash, as I’ve LITERALLY NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO GO OUT.

We're devastated by today's nightmare (which we really wish we could wake up from). All my friends (who have taken over this blog) and I hope all of you, our followers here, are okay and can take a step back to properly handle everything. Our hearts go out to Liam's family, friends, crew over the past decade and a half and, of course, his four brothers. Our hearts, as fans, are absolutely shattered. We're here if you need us. It has been one of the greatest pleasures of our lives to witness Liam growth and development and we're devastated about how the industry has taken yet another good soul and destroyed it beyond repair. Rest in kindness, Liam. 🕊️

Hi!! I’m a small YouTuber who wants to create a channel that inspires people!! Here are the types of videos I want to make as a profession:

-video autobiographies for those who have a story to tell but are unsure of where to start or are unable to write one themselves. I would like to interview the elderly, those that have been through much, and those who are nearing the end too soon

-travel videos that show people parts of the world that they would otherwise be unable to see. My target audience is people who long for travel but are still undecided, too young, too old, disabled, or just enjoy travel content

I’m making small steps towards these now by

-currently in the process of interviewing my 94 year old great grandma about her life, from her birth in 1930 to now, in 2024.

-making “tourist” videos around my hometown to show the parts of it that there are to love

A MESSAGE FROM SPRINGFIELD OHIO

Hi..this is not what I wanted my first post to be but it needs to be said. I am a 17 year old resident of Springfield and the current national news is bringing a lot of new attention to my hometown, and creating dangerous situations. Yes it should be talked about, but threats do not help us.

Every day, my schools (I attend a high school and a college) send out messages letting students know that they are aware of threats being made against the schools nearby, and are working with police to debunk the claims. There have been b!mb and sh00ting threats.

Two weeks ago, I went out everywhere by myself, it’s never been something I’ve been afraid of. Now, I am scared. Two weeks ago, I would walk past a group of people who spoke a different language than me and didn’t mind them, they didn’t scare me. Now, I don’t even leave my car alone. Not because of them, but because of the threats made against them. People have been peeing in bottles and throwing them at Haitians in my city, among other hateful acts.

Don’t get me wrong, Springfield was not a 5 star city before the national attention. But I felt safe and it was home. Now, I am scared. I am scared because someone that is hateful enough to make threats against schools with CHILDREN in them, Haitain or not, CHILDREN, who have no choice but to follow their parents directions, is also hateful enough not to care who gets in their way to achieve their threats.

Please, stop the threats, and stop the hate. I am not siding with anybody here, I am simply saying that people who live in Springfield are scared. If you want to make a change, do it the right way and make a push towards the government WITHOUT violence. Americans, we need to talk.
