Glow Up Challenge Day 19: Try a new skincare product 💜
Tried a new face wash, hope it helps my skin be more radiant.
Day 20: Create a bucket list 🤎
This came at the right time. I’ve been thinking of activities I’ve wanted to do for some time. Doing the glow up challenge has shifted my perspective to include some feel good hobbies and get creative on my bucket list. Watch this space!
Day 21: Create a relaxing playlist 🤍
This was great. I’m building The LØJ playlist. Music that gets me up and moving. I relax by dancing too 😂
Day 22: Try a Pilates workout 🩶
I did a few Pilates stretches. Got an app which is pretty cool, but it’s motivated me to get look for a pilates class to join. Let’s get it 💪
Day 23: Write a list of all your goals 🖤
This was a lovely one. I’ve been in a bit of slump mentally and want my goals to align with building myself up. There are many things I’ve put on the back burner. Quite honestly, I need to get moving on my goals. I’ve reached some pretty big milestones from age 20 to 25. I split my goals from short term to medium goals to long term goals. This really put into perspective how much I have to be grateful for. One thing for sure though, is my momma would be proud of her princess. May her soul forever be at peace, my guardian angel.

Haven’t been posting as much has been happening lately. Still been keeping up with my challenge. Here’s the update! 😁
Day 13: Go to bed 30 minutes earlier. ❤️
This was definitely needed. After a nice shower from a long day, I snuggled up in bed. Lots was on my mind so tossed and turned a bit but eventually sleep graced me with its presence.
Day 14: Read inspirational quotes 💛
Happy Valentine’s Day too. Quote of the day: “Being loved is the minimum. Make sure you are also being respected, prioritised, supported, desired, understood.” - unknown
Day 15: Try a new workout 🩷
So not entirely a workout but learned about morning stretches to get the body moving and tackle stiffness.
Day 16: Do one thing outside of your comfort zone 💚
I had appointments to keep and was wary because of tasks I had to do at work. So juggled between that and got out of my routine. It was lovely just being able to be present and watch the skies as I was heading to my appointments. I also learned that there is sufficient grace and kindness in the world. I didn’t need to be stressed by stepping out of my comfort zone but also needed to trust those around me to hold space for me. This day was definitely a game changer.
Day 17: Wake up 15 minutes earlier 🩵
And BTW…. This was a Saturday!!! I didn’t sleep in though and got myself out of bed.
Day 18: Start a journal 💜
This was something I needed to get back to again. I started with some notes on growth. It also included my to-do list. It helped because I was able to get motivated about things I wanted to get done. Made me think of doing poetry again.
