How’s commission coming along? :)

Going as well as it could :') I'm still struggling with how slow I am. I did the math and I need to finish at least 2 commissions per week in order to reach my goal of earning $1,000 by the end of the month.

I've so far finished one in 4 days and the deadline for the other one is today but I'm nowhere near close because I'm struggling with making faces look normal and drawing curly hair.

I can't seem to meet my own expectations. I feel like it's just not good enough.

Yes! On my free time I take sketch requests or when I need to do quick warm-up sketches to practice. I got a lot in my ask box that I need to go through

If you need a money then do you have a kofi we can donate? or you can open your tip jar on your blog too. hope that helps!

Paypal and even Stripe is unsupported in my country (Maldives) so a lot of options are unavailable for me including ko-fi and Tumblr's tip jar :(

So far the only working alternative I've found is getting commissions through ArtStation. ArtStation gives you the option to get payment directly to your bank account instead of PayPal if you want.

They take a 12% selling fee and a $0.30 transaction fee so it's not bad. But I guess a drawback would be that if anyone wants to commission me, they'd have to make an ArtStation account first.

It would be so much easier if I could just use paypal :/

Happy new year! No matter what happened last year that is in the past. I always say on bad days that you got through it and will never have to live that day again. Hopefully this year is good! It may just be my optimism but I think it will be okay!

Happy new year to you too! I'm scared to hope but your optimism is rubbing off on me. I'm hoping the next year won't be as bad as my brain is making it out to be. Trying not to think too hard about these things. I'm still too chicken to go outside or talk to people so I haven't made any memories this year.
