one of the hundred things I love about Andor is that in the end, all the villains were destroyed not in an epic showdown with the rebels or whoever but by the machine that they worked for. syril was a faceless casualty of the genocide he helped create. dedra was done in for putting ambition over conformity to the machine, and she took down partagaz, who essentially created her, along with her. even heert was quite literally killed by his own droid and his own men. all of them were crushed by the wheel they dedicated their lives to keep turning. it's just so deeply deeply satisfying.

When I say I want a clone rebellion show, I of course mean that I want to see Rex, Echo, Gregor, Howzer, and Cody (WHERE IS HE??), but I also want to see Riyo Chuchi, Avi Singh, Bail Organa, Lux Bonteri, and Korkie Kryze.

Obviously Chuchi’s spearheading clone rights, we know that, and Bail has been helping the rebellion from day one (for that matter, Mon Mothma might be someone to include in this). But I just think it’s a waste to introduce Singh for two episodes of tbb and not do anything else with him. And Lux is Onderon’s senator. Where is he in all this? Does he know they went after Saw? Did he try to stop them? I need answers. And you’re telling me Korkie and his band of merry friends aren’t immediately clocking the government corruption in the Empire? Please. Like, is that why we don’t see him in Mandelorian? Why Bo-Katan doesn’t mention him?

I know it would be tough to make a really good story out of because they have to lose for the next fifteen years until the rebels get organized as we see in Rebels and no one likes to see our heroes lose, but I also love a good tragedy.

the achilles scene in the odyssey is haunting tbh. the whole iliad being about men dying to have honor and glory to be remembered after death and achilles is just, just getting to the point where he believes maybe there’s more to life than dying and maybe he doesn’t want to lose his life in this pointless war and then him getting pulled into it anyway, dying the homeric hero he never wanted to be, then meeting odysseus in the underworld and telling him a slave’s lot would be better than his own because at least he would be alive
