I just know Steve and Peter fight dirty when they spar and it scares tf out of Tony.

Steve was taught how to fight by getting his shit rocked in back allies, and I always headcanon Peter was taught by Uncle Ben, who taught his scrawny nephew how to even the playing field when fighting bigger guys who try to pick on the little guy.

So cut to present time, when Peter’s sort of joined the Avengers and has been attending training with the team, and they quickly learn Spider-Man does not fight fair. People don’t exactly care how you fight when they’re pointing guns at you. His random, unpredictable, unrefined movements both help and hinder him when he’s sparring someone like Natasha.

But with Steve, they have a certain understanding.

And that understanding leads to Tony standing anxiously by the sidelines as he watches Captain America, who almost killed him not even a year prior, not hold back as he flings his fists at the constantly moving Spider-Kid.
