didn’t the original pink lesbian flag get “cancelled” or something and now the orange lesbian flag is the “official” one? i’m not up to date on all of this
There isn’t really an “official” lesbian flag, but the orange one seems to be the most commonly used one now as far as I’m aware.
I don’t have her callout or whatever, but the creator of the lipstick lesbian flag was a big ol’ racist, I think transmisogynistic as well (IDR specifics but IIRC she really didn’t like GNC women and that’s quite the indicator), and also likely ripped her design from the cougar pride flag created 2 years prior (a picture of them side-by-side).
