YES. Give me the relapses, give me the self-sabotaging, the unhealthy copying mechanisms, the "pretending im healed", we're buddies now, only to break down watching some soap ad that triggered a memory.

Healing is not linear, and it could be a great plot device inherently human. Please don't do instant healing.

Least favorite trope: years of emotional neglect/abuse swept under the rug by one scene where a parent admits they loved their child all along. And their broken, traumatized victim adult child accepts this half-assed non-apology (and the audience should too) because the writers think that’s closure.

I was going through some stuff in my old drive, and You would not believe what I stumbled across. So back in 2012 after the first avengers movie came out I was obsessed with Loki--of course I was--and I started writing this fic like a series... It was called "Mother Knows Best", it was originally posted in ff.net and Wattpad, in SPANISH. Bro- that was like... 13 years ago jesus christ. It was over 300k words.

This is the poster I MADE for it in 2013.

Anyways, I just wanted to share a laugh here. Mind you this was before we got the marvel phase two, im so fucking old. HAHAHA

Summary under the cut:

Mother Knows Best || Loki x OC

Frigga frees Loki from his cell and the flee to Midgard, because Frigga is convinced that her son deserves a second chance. However, in the Asgard-Earth trip, they get separated due to a unknown problem with Frigga's powers --or how I like to call it: Destiny. --Loki arrives in Chelsea, Manhattan. While Frigga arrives in Bronx. It takes two days until they get reunited, but in the process, Loki meets Rebecca (Emma Stone) And her younger brother Milo. They let him stay in their house for a while, until he finds his mother... After this... When Mother ans Son get together again, Frigga decides that they're going to stay on Earth for a while. Loki is against this but soon he will discover that he doesn't have any other option but to obey his mother.

It's basically a comedy. Frigga and Loki living as a midgardian family, while he is traying not to get caught by S.H.I.E.L.D or the Avengers.

I do remember that at some point the F.OC was revealed to be related to the immortals/gifted sort of thing, the younger brother was originally a mutant, but i might have changed that when I started watching Agents of Shield.

This was a funny trip down memory lane.
