Mary always dreamed of a big, magical love, in which she could escape from her parasites of parents, known throughout the village as a drunkard and a fortune-teller.
But in life it does not always happen as she wants.
Jake Overland - the perfect guy, the son of the elder, kind, sympathetic, sociable, caring. Yes, only he did not love her, but another. And Mary, blinded by jealousy and bitterness, rummaged through her mother's books and found a mention of the Moon-faced god, who had the power to grant any wish.
On a full moon, the girl prayed, saying,
"I'm willing to do anything to have a happy family life with him..."
Hearing her prayers, the god replied, "It shall be so, and this man will love you, but you will pay the price by giving me your first son."
As promised by the Moon-faced, the boy fell in love with Mary, and a year later, an albino boy was born with snow-white skin, white hair, and blue eyes.
But Jake refused to accept the "mark of the wicked" in his home, and one night, he took the child away into the woods to be eaten by wolves.
Only the moon shone brightly in the night, cradling its child.
AU: Jack is the son of the Moon-Faced One, who has lived his entire life under his father's watchful eye. However, when he meets Hiccup and the other dragon riders, he decides to defy his father for the first time.

Taking a deep breath, Pevensey, closing his eyes wearily, raised his head to the blue sky. The sky in Narnia was completely different, not the same as in England. It was magical, just like Narnia itself.
Edmund Pevensey-or rather, King Edmund the Just-was a proud man. Having gone through many difficulties and obstacles, who wouldn't be proud of their successes?
But what's the use of that pride now? Only a fool would try to prove something with one foot in the grave. The guy certainly didn't consider himself a fool.
"But still... I must apologize," Aslan was the first to break the long silence between them. "I didn't take your feelings into account.
Yes, it was too late. No amount of apologies or confessions will bring his family back to him. They're all probably already dead.
"It's getting late.. The brunette smiled bitterly, feeling drops of tears appear in the corners of his eyes, clearly from dryness, and not from resentment, which stubbornly clung to the tips of his eyelashes, not ready to fall yet.
- It's never too late. - lion shook his head, - You should understand this perfectly well yourself.
For some reason, the first thought that came to these words was the smiling image of Caspian - brave, brave and, most importantly, free. That was how Pevensey remembered him the last time.
And next to him, a star shone brightly- Liliandil, his wife and queen. The one who was with him until the end of his days.
- It happens... - the guy whispered with dry lips, feeling a lump rise across his throat. A bundle of emotions that he had kept to himself for so long, preferring to ignore.

After their return to England, everything began to fall apart. The strong family bond began to crack, and the siblings began to distance themselves from each other, preferring to live in their own little worlds. Edmund was not surprised when he died without realizing it. He did not regret his death, but he did regret his life. If he had had the chance, he would have made a different choice. Perhaps then Caspian, Peter, Susan, and Lucy would have been by his side.
Aslan, surprisingly, heard him.

Regulus Black is a secret agent of the Death Eaters federal intelligence service.
After receiving an order from headquarters, his new mission was to scout the situation at the Order of the Phoenix, a government agency dedicated to tracking down dangerous criminals.
But in order to get close to the Order of the Phoenix, Regulus needed to get close to one of the members of this organization. It was then that his gaze fell on James Potter.
His position in the Order was high, the criminals he caught were among the most dangerous, and if anyone knows anything interesting about the organization, it's him. But the most important thing... This 24-year-old young, handsome man was single. Perhaps this information wasn't exactly valuable, but the moment their eyes met among the crowd in one of the bars, it was worth its weight in gold for Reggie.

Before the tower, there was only a "wasteland", a place where you couldn't survive on your own because of wild animals. People broke up into settlements in order to work in alliance with each other for the common good.
But at one point, the beasts began to evolve, not only in intelligence and strength, but also in shinsu. Wild boars could move a small handful of earth, and birds could change the direction of the wind. The beasts have gained an advantage in the battle with humans. The number of people decreased significantly, settlements began to hide from animals in caves or in cliffs.
Due to food shortages, in order to reduce food consumption, many people began to be expelled from their settlement. Not everyone was lucky enough to stay in the shelter. So on May 25, left without parents, the baby was thrown into the wasteland, where wild animals picked him up. They didn't kill the child, instead raising him as a member of the pack. Baam began to understand shinsu the most, and he reached unprecedented heights in his development.
But even in his pack, he felt lonely, different from everyone else. People drove him out, but the animals avoided him. Wanting to create a place that would become his home, Baam created a tower equipped with a shinsu inside. countries

Chishuya can't even remember when hunting monsters in a dungeon became more than just entertainment. Probably when he became an S-rank hunter. (Which happened completely by accident)
It's a lot less hassle than in the hospital, but there are more flies flying around him every day. It's Quina with her tremulous sighs on En, then Usagi with paperwork and recruitment into the Association..
Shuntaro could have sworn that this world hated him.
Otherwise, why did this monster man with deer eyes and a sunny smile fall into his arms?
Chishuya: go away, I'm not your mother...
Arisu: ...(looks at him innocently and sweetly)
Chishuya: ... Okay, stay here.
AU: Chishuya is a monster hunter, and Arisu is his little monster who doesn't want to let Shuntaro go.

Looking at this boy's crying face, he reminded Chishuya of a poor mutt. His brown, plaintive eyes looked at him pleadingly. Her eyes were red from crying, and her nose was dripping with snot. It's definitely supposed to be disgusting.
"I... I'm lost.. He sobbed, holding Chishui's hand uncertainly.
Shintaro eyed the boy suspiciously. It's not every day that you're abruptly taken by the hand in the middle of the street. Especially with such an idiotic reason for doing so.
"So what?"
The boy shuddered, apparently realizing that he would not be helped. Or was he just a crybaby?
Tears began to flow from his eyes with double force. There was a squeak reminding him...A kitten? Or at least a dying meerkat. But the crybaby's hand still stubbornly held his hand in a grip.
AU: Arisu was born 5 years earlier, Arisu and Chishuya are childhood friends

Jack was once one of the winter fairies, who are known for hiding deep in the forests of the North, helping Moonface to maintain the balance of nature.
But everything changed when selfish barbarians, eager to control the force of nature, attacked their village.
There was chaos and devastation all around.
The protective trees that fenced them off from the rest of the world burned with red flames, taking away some of the wooden buildings with them. The large figures of dragons in the sky, covered with metal, did not stop firing volleys.
Jack was scared.
Sitting among the rubble of what used to be their home, the boy, trembling with fear, clutched his younger sister to his side, whose quiet sobs echoed in his ears.
"Jack...I'm scared," Emma sobbed, clutching his shirt with her small hands. Her body shook, shaking from each volley of fire.
- Everything will be fine.. - the boy spoke slowly, stroking the girl's hair with his hand. His voice trembled involuntarily, but his hand was also stroking reassuringly. Jack didn't know if he was telling himself or his sister. But it didn't matter either. - Mom and Elder are going to return with the attacking squad now...
- And if... - red, swollen eyes collided with his - did mom leave us? ...
the boy was not ready for this. He wasn't ready for all this, though.
A loser who, at the age of 17, could not control his own strength was useless. He couldn't even protect his own sister while their mother was probably already fighting the enemy somewhere, as one of the best warriors of this village in the past.
Jack was scared, goosebumps ran down his spine, and his eyes involuntarily flashed between the fleeing villagers, wanting to find a familiar face.
- Don't ever say that, Mom will never leave us..

After Walburga realized her mistake in raising the mongrels who were her children, the woman sends her youngest puppy to Durmstrang.
As much as Walburga would have liked to teach Sirius a lesson for the shame that he had left on their kind, she had another puppy that could be used. He certainly shouldn't embarrass her.
The only thing she didn't take into account was that Regulus wasn't her toy, and Durmstrang definitely wouldn't allow her to raise this boy into a puppet.

Jack didn't really believe in soulmates.
When he was human, he didn't have any marks, which in his opinion made his life a lot easier.
There is no label, there is no fuss of searching and longing for a person you don't know at all.
The boy didn't want to admit, even to himself, that he was jealous. He envies those furtive glances, full of something burning, gentle touches and bright smiles.
Perhaps it wasn't envy, but... curiosity, nothing more.
But when he became Jack Frost, there was a black mark on his palm, resembling the outline of a dragon with flames. At first, it's very...It was fascinating. Perhaps there is a person in this world who will see him and wait for him, believe in him. But after many years of searching, having flown around everything that is possible and impossible...Jack stopped believing in fate.
That mark seemed to be laughing at him. It became annoying.
Perhaps this man had never existed at all, or perhaps he had been dead for a long time and Moonface decided to mock him, leaving only one small mark on his arm as a reminder of the impossible.
No one could help him. Moonface left him to figure things out on his own, and the Keepers tried to help Frost in their own way, slapping him on the shoulder and saying "everything will be fine."
But nothing was good for him and his soulmate.

Since childhood, Hiccup has cherished a connection with his soulmate. In difficult moments, he imagined how he would find her among the others...Hiccup didn't know what to do next. He just wanted to be with her. To know that at least someone belongs only to him. Someone who will always be there for you.
Looking at the blue tint of the twinkling moon crossing with a snowflake on his right shoulder, Hiccup could afford to dream about his soulmate.
Once he dreamed of touching Astrid and their marks would fascinatingly shine, confirming their connection. But that didn't happen. Yes, the blonde also had a soul mark, but clearly not his. Her two sharp, intersecting axes sometimes sparkled with silver on the upper part of her chest.
Usually the girl covered her mark with clothes or armor, jealously protecting the connection with her soulmate, but on rare occasions Astrid sadly ran her hand over her skin, thinking deeply about something.
Everything changed the moment he met Toothless. He was no longer considered insignificant. He was no longer considered just a Hiccup. For them, he finally became Hiccup, the son of Stoick, which was really encouraging. He was no longer a shadow or an invisible person. But even so, Hiccup couldn't shake the feeling that...Everyone sees him as someone else. His father sees in him a successor, a future leader. And the rest of the Vikings are not much different from him. They all want something from him.
And only his soul mark shone reassuringly, as if supporting him.
Hiccup Haddock longed to find his soulmate, even if he had to search forever.

"The Age of Marauders?" What's with the silly name of the game? - the guy grinned
"It's a story... It's about a brave boy who got confused and chose the wrong side.. Andromeda whispered next to him, smiling sadly.
"How can he be brave then?"
- Yes, he's the bravest man I've ever met - looking straight into his gray eyes, the girl squeezed someone else's hand. Tactility is something Andy can't live without. And although Reggie had a hard time getting used to other people's closeness at first, all her touches seemed comfortable.
"He was... bad?.. Reggie asks her involuntarily, seeing the surprise in the women's eyes, "I mean... this boy..
Pursing her lips, after a few long seconds of silence that hung between them, Andromeda let out a shaky sigh.:
"No, Reggie, he is... Not bad.
"But not a good one either?"? The brunette finished for her, raising an eyebrow.
Shaking her head, the girl smiled tightly, looking at her lap as if in thought:
- The world is not divided into black and white, there are no perfect people, because each of us can make mistakes. - looking up at the guy, Andy, with tears in the corners of her eyes, looked at Regulus - That's why... For me, this boy has become a star.
