Fingal's Cave is a geological formation located on the uninhabited island of Staffa, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.
It is known for its extraordinary structure of hexagonal basalt columns, which were formed from rapidly cooled volcanic lava millions of years ago. The cave is approximately 72 meters long and is notable for its natural acoustics, giving it a cathedral-like quality.

dick is only the best robin in canons where he wasnt a cop, acab no exceptions
Dick is THE best Robin even when he is a cop. Infiltrating a profession to pinpoint and kick out bad apples while supporting and backing the few good apples in a bid to increase the good apples and chuck out bad apples is badass. Especially as Dick's entire run as cop had him identifying the rotten cops or being framed by those rotten cops for Dick daring to cleanse the system. If DC fandom needs a cop to desperately hate on, go pick on Jim "a career cop who was the only good cop in Gotham but made Commissioner" Gordon. For real though, if Gotham coppery is so bad HOW has Gordon remained Commish for DECADES?
I don't care for discourse that doesn't offer solutions. Dick tried to REFORM. Good people staying out of corrupt systems allows corruption to fester and foster - case in point, Gotham. Case in point, Gotham and Bludhaven in Batman Forever where Gotham remains dingy and vile and Bludhaven is BETTER.

Wow, thinking back, Ron really was clever in the earlier books. He was the one who knew how to beat that giant chess board, AND he figured out that Tom Riddle was not a good person as he made himself to be while Harry assumed Tom had something good for Hogwarts by stopping the supposed monster from attacking anymore students. I truly miss those days of Ron being clever. The movies really did ruin Ron's personality in the later books. Also, the later books showing Ron being dragged into that unnecessary teenage romance was definitely not my cup of tea.
Yep, talked about here and here.
I wish the movies didn't influence Ron's characterization in the later books. I even preferred Romione as a concept in the earlier books because a cleverer Ron worked better with Hermione (whose flaws were more addressed earlier on). Really a shame, in books 3 & 4 I was really shipping them, and then book 6, just soured their romance for me, even if I still like the pairing.
But I'd still take book 7!Ron over Movie!Ron anyway. At least he had some clever/wise moments and had more emotional intelligence...

It's so interesting how Michael Shelley (the human) was so trusting, caring and so honest, but that lead to him being deceived, tricked and lied to and made him become the living embodiment of lies, delusion and confusion.
I think that's why the Distortion chose Helen over him. Michael still had that small human part of him that was the exact opposite of the Distortion.

Michael the Distortion doesn't want to be Michael because of how the nature of Michael Shelley and Michael the Distortion contradict; one is honest and trusting and deceived while the other one lies, deceives and confuses, and this robs the Distortion of its purpose. The only reason Michael even became the Distortion is that he had the map to help him.

Michael the Distortion wants desperately to be understood, for someone to know the injustice of what happened to poor Michael, and so he lets Jon take his statement and know the honest and bare truth.

Michael got "distracted" with the feelings of Michael Shelley, leading to the door to the Distortion being locked for him and Helen becoming the Distortion.
Leaving Michael once again discarded and disposed of, for simply being too honest and human. Ironic how the first time he's discarded is when he opens the door, and the second time is when the door does not open for him anymore.

Ron and Harry friendship headcanons:
Ron is the first in to say I love you to Harry that he can remember
He said it before leaving end of first year
Harry started crying, Ron panicked
It was also the first time Harry had ever initiated a hug
Ron gives Harry piggy rides sometimes because he didn’t have siblings who would
Harry is the only one Ron shared his food with
They sleep in the same bed when Harry stays over at the burrow
They have a very complicated secret handshake
Ron helps Harry research his family history
They were eachothers first kiss because they wanted to practice
It ended in a lot of giggles and laughs
That’s all I have right now

Something I love about Ronarry is that Harry IS tall, but Ron is a fucking giant
He makes Harry look shorter then he actually is. And I bet it pisses Harry off so bad

Something about Rarry that I think is just so beautiful is the fact that Ron thinks he needs to be better than his sibling and friends, needs to be better than what he is to be worthy of love, but the very moment Harry Potter, The Chosen One, saw the lopsided smile of the scruffy redhead with dirt on his nose and worn clothes, he loved him like he had loved nothing else. And he never, throughout his whole life, loved anyone in the way he loved Ron.
Ron believed himself unlovable — Harry had never known love until he met Ron, and loving him was as easy as breathing.

you’ve been a prisoner of war since you were ten years old but the prodigal son is finally returning and this time you have a battle plan. you’ve been to war. you’re the trueborn son of a lord and your only living sibling is your older sister (notably a woman), so there’s no threat to your succession. basically? you have this lord of the seven kingdoms shit in the bag. there’s a red comet in the sky and that comet is YOU, baby! got your nice doublet on and everything. everything’s coming up theon everything’s coming up greyjoy this time for me. Unfortunately your dad is immediately pissed at you he says theon you look gay as fuck. theon i bet that necklace wasn’t even looted. theon did NED STARK turn you GAY during your CAREFREE YEARS LIVING IT UP AS A CHILD PRISONER OF WAR. Like omg i JUST got here. and to make matters worse while you were away everybody became a feminist so you aren’t even heir to pyke anymore you’re just somebody’s flop gay son. you’re just somebody’s flop gay son on a rock in the ocean foreverrr

Guys, we're having a serious conversation. The fact that Ramsay is constantly touching Reek considering he knows what kind of relationships Theon had with both the Starks and the Greyjoys, tells everything. Ramsay understands that Theon spent his whole life starved of affection, of any real, open form of love (which is probably why he turned into such a fuckboy). So Ramsay weaponizes touch. He uses physical closeness to create emotional dependency, to train Reek like a dog. And honestly, I can’t stop thinking about abused dogs. They are terrified of raised hands, kindness and closeness, taking months to warm up to a new owner. Except in Reek’s case, his “new owner” isn’t gentle at all, but he’s always here, always here to watch and touch.
Oh my god. This needs a full post. I’m climbing the walls over this.
