Why are men such sexual harassing freaks?

What is going on in the world that sexual harassment cases are literally everywhere. They always have been equally prevalent, I’m sure; but now women feel strong enough to stand up for themselves and report the situations. We are barely lucky enough to get HR to take us seriously if we dare report it, let alone the media. Right now it’s an important time to make a change in this world. We need to come together and raise the bar for required respect for women in the workplace and the home! So far in my experiences, and the media coverage currently, it appears that men can just make crude remarks about us and our sexuality, they are able to inappropriately suggest or pursue lewd acts, even to the fact that the men upstairs usually turn a blind eye to any actual accusations.

NO WONDER NO ONE SPEAKS UP.

I mean who could blame them? I basically had HR tell me i was asking for it once.... But forget about the past, we need to move toward the FUTURE with a new and improved expectation for workplace behavior. that is a must. 

We cannot tolerate any sexually explicit conversations in the workplace; that means no suggestive comments, no “accidental” touches of our butts, no more using power to take advantage! If we all unite together and promise to always document, screenshot, and report incidents that made us uncomfortable in the workplace then maybe we will be taken more seriously! If multiple women are complaining about treatment from the same guy; THEN HE’S A PROBLEM! Sure, people fall in love at the work place, etc.  but that’s different. and you know it. 

If somebody is the boss of you in any way, and he has you trapped in a car alone with him, shows you his gun and asks if you think he is attractive.....i don’t think that is ok!?!?!?! 

The more we screenshot, document, report, the better case proven if the time comes to address the situation. Because trust me, it is bigger than you.

Letters to Myself with Purple Hair

Today I feel powerful. I have chosen to take a stand against the people of power who have been holding me back and dragging me down. This stands as a testament to allow myself to take charge of situations that make me uncomfortable, and change them! To sit around and complain about things just breeds hostility and anger. The only way to fix something is to change it. 

To quickly fill in the (0) followers, I have been having some problems with my neighbors/Homeowner’s committee, and am taking a stand to improve the services we are paying for, and even got the committee to give me a private meeting! The neighbors that I asked to join my team...80% literally told me no one will care or listen to my proposals, and 20% were highly supportive. Well, I have chosen to attempt to fill the PRESIDENT position that apparently is vacant? and I’m going to make some serious changes by bending the rules if I have to! After conducting research, I believe I have completely found a loophole to the system and can outsmart and outwit the naysayers, 10 fold! 

I truly can’t wait til the day in the next 5 years, that I have my fame and these fools who all thought I was out of my mind to try to accomplish these goals realize how inadequate their approach was, and how successful I was! I’m also realizing that people will probably be able to say, “oh she was always really nice!” (even though the monsters inside of my head are quite destructive). 

I can’t reiterate enough, my message to the people that the boxes we live in are limitations we create for ourselves! We are worthy of happiness, success, love, fair fights, and good luck, if only we put our minds to it. What we think about most, we bring about most, and the entire world seems to be stuck in a negative box of binary rules and limits. My goal, is to use my music to shift the energy to a positive one! If we all act sovereign to our own selves, we can truly make this world a more accepting and positive place.

Center of Attention.

I think i have always wanted to stand out and shine as brightly as possible. No matter how hard I have tried in life to be shy and quiet, IM JUST NOT. I am not the type to sit idly by while things go awry or break the rules. Don’t get me wrong, RULES ARE FOR BREAKING, but instead of complaining that life isnt fair, I stand up for the issue. I may be a ‘natural born leader’ but delivering the message can be a challenge for me: unless it’s through music or writing. Face to fave conflict is not my strong suit because I want to only instill happiness in people.

This journey of becoming a recording artist with a 5 year goal of radio hits and major success, I CAN DO IT! I can deliver my happy go lucky messages, and hopefully inspire others positively. I just need to keep my head up, my heart open, and my pen flowing. Writing about my experiences truly helps me take a step back and learn from what I’ve written. Hopefully, others can too!

Life isn’t fair, and that’s true for all of us, but it IS what you make of it. To be only and constantly upset by the cards you are dealt only feuls the fire of misery. Instead, we should take control of our lives and believe that our luck is golden. So many successful people are only at the top because they saw themselves there and never gave up on achieving that dream. Forever, I have always wanted to perform, and fit in. As star of the 5fh grade musical, I guess my music teacher saw my potential, but beginning to pursue this crazy career at age 25 is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it!

I will have the success that I am imagining for myself because I know that I have what it takes, I have the right people in my corner, and I will persevere! Nothing worth having is ever easy… but I will work the hardest you’ve ever seen to make my dreams a reality.

I dont want a life where i wake up from my dreams, do you?

I need not be defined by the words on the package...all that matters is the package of myself that I present to the world :)

Optimism is hard to hold onto when the world is trying to drag me down.

I have a lot of pain in my heart because of the passion I have behind everything. Friends, work, music, animals....The things that give me the most pleasure cause me the most pain. And I’m starting to wonder if it’s all my fault.

     I try to rationalize with the voices in my head, that I am a positive, bright ball of energy and it’s just the people i have met SO FAR in life that suck; but when I weigh out the facts, its been 80% of the people in all of spaces I’ve lived. It feels like the world is trying to SUCK OUT MY SOUL and replace it with an evil one.  

BUT I DON’T WANT THAT!

I want to share with the world my positivity and bring everyone up with me, rather than having them bring me down! I have the tools, instruments, accouterments etc to deliver my message to the world! Can I keep my mind-power to maintain the happiness? My head still feels weak and breaks down regularly... This journey is about to vary from the norm; I hope I can strengthen my brain!

I need to remember a few key things to get through this trying time ahead:

What I think about most I bring about most.

Only give a tiny piece of my soul to these people I meet...

Focus on my passions only positively

This is what I look like with freshly purpled hair, post panic attack, after a stupid day at a stupid job..... SO I CAN REACH MY DREAMS :D ;D :D

This is Me!

You probably want to know a little more about me, so here it goes!  I’m an aspiring artist, just getting started, and full of potential! I have 3 birds, a one-eyed cat, a dog, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, a corn snake, and a betta fish. I think that’s all the pets currently.

Anyway, I absolutely love singing and animals, these 2 things are what keep me smiling and motivated throughout the days! I have a plethora of unwritten songs and lyrics in my mind, that I am slowly able to fully create, but until I can share those with the world, I will be sharing mostly clips and covers to gain a general following!
