Happy Birthday Sonic & Shadow!! (belated, but we've been celebrating him for more than a year and very well deserved, I love you Shadow)

Long overdue Super Sonic and Super Shadow fanart!

Not only because I should've finished this piece weeks ago, and because of the movie and Shadow Generations, but mostly, because I've never drawn these boys in their Super forms! What kind of a Sonic fan am I?!

Humankind has spent more than 30 years in conflicts and wars, all of which worsened the already rapidly decaying environmental state of the planet, and the scarce of natural resources, increasing the suffering of the new generations. Something in the first contact with the Prince went wrong, and now humanity has an ill reputation in the colony, escalated by the violent actions of the Alliance.

The Alliance, a human-only army, was formed by once enemy forces, who have left past differences aside, to face a major threat in the Prince. For humans themselves, it has either been a heroic force, or something better avoided. Among those who evade it, is Roy, a kid with an unfortunate past, who has found happiness and a family, in a small town on Non-Alligned territory.

Like any other NA territory on Earth, it is far from the economic activities and luxuries that sectors claimed by the Prince may enjoy. A guy like Roy, who's done questionable things to make cash, will tell you that the town certainly has its charms.

Roy, grown onto a strong and fearless man with a feisty reputation, no longer looks back, and seeks to change for the better, and to find success in his life-long dream: leave the street races behind, and join the professionals. While his impressive piloting skills and an old hoverjet like Orion, can get him anywhere he wants, a little push is never bad…

When he comes across a strange gem that grants him fiery and spectacular powers, Roy not only gets the chance to achieve what he wants, but his seemingly shallow aspirations transform into something that will change the world, the fate of the universe... and his own heart.

Starcrossed, Ch. Sheet 4/4: "The Fox"

[Finally! The main protagonist of the story I'm working on! I hope you will like him, I certainly love my son]

The first extraterrestrial to arrive to Earth, 75 years before the story begins, and the only Blue-blood on the planet. He's the outcast prince of the dreaded and vicious Empire that is conquering all the known universe.

Fleeing certain execution, Astros finds our Solar System (yet on unexplored universe), and takes over humanity's settlement on Mars, and our home, planet Earth. Earth, almost doomed by humanity's wars and greed, is restored into an imperial colony, destined to be the new home of all alien-kind escaping the power and death of the Empire.

Everyone, human and alien-kind, believe that the Prince isolates in a palace on the Moon, leaving all his tasks and responsabilities in the hands of his imperial robot soldiers. For the good and safety of the people, Astros preffers that his subjects see him as distant and unreliable. His true nature, the reason why his own kind condemned him - and normal to anyone who isn't a blue-blood -… tucked away from everyone to see.

Haunted by the fear and regrets if his concealed bloody past, he has a necessity for solitude, all which he strongly wishes to overcome. For now, Astros walks on Earth, actively trying to care for the planet, its native inhabitants, and the colony, as much as he can… from a safe distance.

Sheet 3/4: "The Starman" [While not the main protagonist of the story, Astros is the deuteragonist, with his own story being very important, and tightly intertwined with Roy's… perhaps the two are connected, somehow.]

She was very little when she escaped from a baleful life, and the blurry memories of that time were overshadowed by her new fortunate life. With an unpreoccupied attitude, and focused on the beauty around her, Mima left that past far behind her.

Crafty and ambitious, she has eyes for what glimmers, and her thieving abilities are concealed with her class and elegance, often times more distinguished than that of the most grandiose people.

A species already considered very beautiful, her endangered ethnic is among the rarest and most attractive. And her innate glamour, be it physical or of her soul, charms almost everyone… but what seems like a virtue can become a double edged sword. However, her delicate beauty, passion for romance, sense of fashion, and femininity, are not to fool those who attempt to threaten her: she's a swift and deadly fighter.

Graemalken are, after all, people of poise, artistry… and with very sharp claws.

Starcrossed, Ch. Sheet 2/4: "The Catchild"

He was all that was left for his lousy father. Dragged by him to spend his childhood wandering about, and without a home, the two finally made a stop where Gericko would be abandoned… at the hands of the best of caretakers. The first of Ma's three kids, and the eldest of the siblings; it might not seem like it, but his core is made of devotion and guardianship.

Cold-blooded and coarse with a thick skin, he doesn't trust, nor give up easily. But Gericko knows well the difference between perseverance, stubbornness, and plain stupidity. Which is why he is, most of the time, the voice of reason between his siblings… voice of reason, but not necessarily the voice of values.

Always feeling stronger and bigger than he actually is, to him, this world is survival of the finest… even if he does shield himself behind his younger sister, and his younger brother saves his tail from every situation his own loud mouth escalated to potentially mortal danger.

A great character in a small package: he has the strength to move on from the fights he's lost, and the brain and skills to fix any problem, and overcome any obstacle. Patronizing at times, and with a little too much sarcasm, it's nothing a bonk on his big head can't fix.

Gericko still has growth and goals to achieve, all of which will take him to places and people he never imagined himself meeting.
