Progress is progress... Don't be disheartened if you lose an inch or a pound because it's less than you'd hoped. It's still progress. You've worked for that loss! Every day brings changes even if you can't measure them. I haven't been dieting at all. I haven't starved myself or been miserable. I've made informed choices. I've worked out but not for hours and hours in a gym. I get sweaty at home in my small lounge. I go outside and run intervals while singing along to cheesy tracks. I do it because it makes me happy. If your chosen diet or workout Doesnt make you feel good, then what's the point? Life is too short to be miserable. Help yourself to live longer by choosing balance in all things- food, exercise and habits. Live life. Laugh hard. Smile. Push yourself. But most importantly, embrace each day for it is a gift and not a given. Couldn't get this jacket on a month ago. It was too tight on my arms and boobs. I'm pushing myself every day and as some of you know it's a struggle against a few health issues but I'm still doing it. No excuses. I do it to feel better, to feel healthy and the changes are happening. I did 110 sessions of insanity. I'm now doing T25. It's still tough but the sessions are 25 minutes long which on a busy day is sometimes all I have time for. If I have more time I do 2. When the weather is ok I do 1 x t25 and 1 x running intervals. I do. That's all anyone can do. Do the best you can do. Do what you can do to help you get the body you want. I'm not an elite athlete. Im just a girl doing my thing. No amazing photo skills or poses to enhance how I look. I just point and click. Every month is bringing changes and I'm happier in my skin than I've been in a long time. Thanks to John for putting up with me and supporting me without judgement, just the occasional eye roll. everyone please turn off ‘best stuff first’ in your settings on tumblr so you can support your content creators!
having best stuff first makes it so a lot of content creators’ edits and gifs get buried by other posts, so if you want to see your dashboard in… you know… chronological order (still don’t understand why social media keeps thinking we want anything but that) make sure you go:
settings > global settings > dashboard preferences > turn ‘best stuff first’ off.
