Well, fellas. It’s been a good run, but I will be taking a couple month break from my Tumblr activity to play Hollow Knight: Silk Song. I really don’t want spoilers and Silk Song will be a chance to have that first play through experience with Hollow Knight all over again. Sadly, no. I wanted to join artfight 2025, but I kinda forgot about it until it was 3 days before the event and I had no time to prepare. I will probably join next year. However, if you wanna draw them don’t let me stop you! I love to see that other people enjoy my art. 😄

Ya know, I never watched Shaun the Sheep before, but fanart of it somehow popped up in my FY page. I saw that seasons 1-5 were available with Prime so I went to see what it was…. I have been watching it for the past 4 days and am now on season 2. It’s great. Highly recommend. Thank you Tumblr for introducing me to it.

I would imagine that Zamad is a very kind but cautious character. He would often warn The Knight about infected enemies in other rooms. Bead is a very adventurous and energetic kid though, so Zamad does take Bead with him when traveling to places near the surface like Greenpath.

(If you couldn’t tell, the top left sketch is when his wife got infected and gave Zamad his scar.)

Zamad used to live in the abandoned village we see right next to Salubra’s shop before moving to Dirtmouth. The reason they lived there was that their entire family lived there for multiple generations. By the time Zamad was born, their family were the only ones left.

One time Zamad did take Bead to the City of Tears with him. Bead would like to go again, but Zamad is paranoid about the sentries. Maybe when Bead is a little older…

If Zamad is in the City of Tears or Fog Canyon, you can see Bead beside Elderbug. The first time this happens you get some new dialogue from Elderbug.

While Zamad is a charm seller he only sells charms for exploration, protection, and healing. He is quite the pacifist. Sometimes he has Bead wear a protection charm when he is out with him.

See those white dots? Well, I had the idea that Zamad’s gimmick is that he would alternate between either 4 of these areas. Although he will stop appearing in the Crossroads when it becomes infected. His Vender Pin will move to which location he is at when you buy them from Isleda.

Once you bought him out, he will be seen without his mask and playing the violin for Bead right outside of Dirtmouth.
