i think they should have kept scott trying to use sat prep words in daily conversation throughout the seasons tbh. just as an ongoing bit. scott should have said someone was "endowed" with The Bite. he describes the alpha pack as "fomenting" trouble. we should have gotten AT LEAST one scene where a character pulls out their phone to look up a word he uses and another where they learn he used it wrong

if you need to sleep:

1812 overture
symphony no. 5, finale (tchaikovsky) (added by viola-ology)

bacchanale
spring (from the four seasons) (be careful, if you listen to this too much you’ll start hating it)
la gazza ladra

dance of the knights (from the romeo and juliet suite by prokofiev)
winter, mvt. 1 (from the four seasons)
symphony no. 10 mvt. 2 (shostakovich)

canon in d (pachelbel)
if you want to sit back and have a nice cup of tea:

pieces that don’t really have a valid explanation:
symphony no. 40 (mozart)

perpetuum mobile
pieces that just sound really cool:
scherzo tarantelle

cello concerto in c (haydn)

harp concerto in E-flat major, mvt. 1 (added by iwillsavemyworld)
and if you really just hate classical music in general:
4′33″ (cage)
a lot of these pieces apply in multiple categories, but I sorted them by which I think they match the most. have fun exploring classical music!
also, thank you to viola-ology and iwillsavemyworld for adding on! if you would like to add on your own suggestions, please reblog and add on or message me so I can give you credit for the suggestion!

Hi 🤗,
I'm doing random asks every day of April, hope you'll like to play. If so, here's a question.
Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Thanks and have a great day 🧡
As a matter of fact, yes! I collect Funko Pops. For now, I have about 60 of them, and they keep coming! 😁
Thanks for asking and have a great day! 😊

Okay, now it makes much more sense. Yes, I agree, these are complicated issues. I always am more inclined to take Steve's perspective on all this, because if the writers' intention was to show Tony's internal struggle and willingness to really let go of his ego and be a good friend, then they failed miserably at this task. People are telling me that in the comic books their relationship is much more balanced and friendly, which is another nail to the coffin of MCU. (There are rumors that the whole demeanor of Tony and him being an insufferable asshole was RDJ's idea.) And you are right, this issue is very nuanced, which could be easily overlooked by the fact that (to me, in my own personal experience) people tend to be too blinded by Tony's charisma to realize there's much more to him than makes him a rather bad role model. And, to be fully honest, I always hate to see Steve's pain regarding his conflict and issues with Tony. Their problems should have been resolved in a much more satisfying way. But they didn't.
Having been rewatching Avengers lately and I really hate the fact that Steve apologizing to Tony has been so constant that it actually became a pattern. He sends him a letter of apology at the end of Civil War, although he didn't actually do anything wrong, and in the beginning of IW Tony admits to Bruce that he still won't speak to Steve even after all these years. It's infuriating.
"I don't care, he killed my mom" - oh yeah? How many mothers and fathers have you killed? Did you forget that your missiles killed Wanda and Pietro's parents? You think that because you didn't do it in person you are excused? Winter Soldier at least had the courage to face his crimes. He remembered all his victims. You didn't even know yours. You never apologized to Wanda for what you did to her. You are responsible for deaths of both her parents and her brother, and what did you do? You imprisoned her in your home, traumatizing her even further by letting her think she is a monster to be feared. The first thing you did coming back from space in EG was yell at Steve for trying to give hope to his friends so they all won't go insane. You refused to help them in their hour of need. You took the shield from Steve, and he didn't even give you hard time for that. You basically ignored Natasha's sacrifice and death and made everything about you again. You, you, you, it was always about you, and Steve never said a word to you, never called you on your bullshit, although he should have.
You don't deserve Steve Rogers as your friend. You don't deserve Natasha, either. You never did.

Sorry, but your post is so vague and tangled I can hardly make anything of it. What exactly are you trying to say?
Nobody said Tony didn't have the right to be upset, same as Steve had the right to make the judgment call. We can argue about the rights they had to do this or that until we are blue in the face, but that doesn't change the fact that we are not in court. Tony's avoidance and inability to process his grief is Tony's problem, not Steve's. Tony just unloaded it all on Steve when it was convenient to him instead of dealing with it himself. The whole Civil War started because of Tony feeling guilty about Spencer.
"Less sturdy definition of facing his crimes" - no, that's actually a pretty accurate one. Seems like to you going to prison or being executed is the only possible option when it comes to facing one's wrongdoings, which is so ridiculous that I'm not even going to comment on that further.
"But, personally, I don't know if I can say he's personally directly responsible for the actions of others in regards to murder and such" - he was making and selling weapons to people. There is no other use to weapons than killing people, period. This is just basic logic. There's no other way around it.
"But I think it's being taken as a less nuanced here." - what exactly is less nuanced? Tony crawled out of the ship half-dead, and the first thing he does is yell at Steve for trying to convince everyone that there's still hope? That's some friend. How exactly is Steve responsible for Tony's pain and distress?
"Tony being a pain to Steve and arrogant doesn't prove or disprove the overall argument." - which, according to you, is?
I agree that they were never good friends to begin with. Maybe I wouldn't raise that issue, if The Avengers weren't widely considered by the good part of public as "found family" ( = friends) - and if Tony himself in Civil War didn't claim "so was I".
My dude, if constantly being a dick towards someone to the point of trying to kill him and his best friend over your own personal issues doesn't mean that someone is not worthy of that person's friendship, then I don't know what does.

Steve wasn't by any means obliged to go to Tony and tell him "oh, and by the way, your parents have been murdered by my friend". To be honest, it wouldn't do Tony any good if he did know about it, it would only hurt him more. Whether that was right or not, everyone has to judge by himself, but it certainly doesn't validate Tony being a total dick to Steve at all times.
Bucky was facing his crimes in the sense that he became fully aware of them when his memory came back, and admitted to them. He never said "it's not my fault, I was brainwashed by Hydra", although that was technically a fact and something that in legal terms is called "mitigating circumstances". He was in hiding, because he believed he didn't deserve to live a normal life (which included being in contact with his best friend!), while giving himself into hands of the government could very well mean he could face death penalty, as he technically fitted the definition of a terrorist.
"And I think neither did Tony personally choose murder anyone with by selling weapons." - are you kidding me? What did he think they were going to do with these weapons, build houses with them? There is only one reason someone decides to produce war-grade weapons, and that is to kill people on a massive scale, period. There is no other reason to do it. With Ultron, it's another story, because I agree that Tony could not fully predict the consequences of his invention, although I would argue that he did it for selfish reason, just as selfish as Nick Fury did with Project Insight.
Apart from that since the first Avengers Tony has been acting like a dick to Steve and basically everyone else (his monologue about him being genius, philantropist, ladies man and what you have is only one example), the most glaring example would be him telling Bruce that "he and Cap are not on speaking terms right now." They only weren't on speaking terms because Tony was too proud to admit to Steve his part in the Civil War catastrophe. Steve left him the phone and the letter, showing his willingness to talk and make amends, and Tony would leave the situation like that forever if Bruce didn't call him on his bullshit. Even Natasha called him on it in Civil War: "Are you incapable of letting go of your ego for one damn second?"
I agree that in EG Tony was in painful and stressful situation. So was everyone else. Yelling at Steve despite the fact that he did nothing wrong only shows that Tony himself felt guilty and tried to cover it with making a temper tantrum. Which doesn't put him in a very good light.
I don't need to paint the victim narrative for Steve, because Steve is not a victim. He always owned whatever wrongs he did, and sometimes even blamed himself for things that weren't his fault. He never called Tony on his bullshit, never said a bad word about him. He was always a good and loyal friend. Which can't be said about Tony.
