Unfortunately it's not all rainbows in the save (and not only because I got rid of my custom skintones and now ~60% of my Sims is paper white...) because we are right after Benjamin divorcing Camille and him marrying his high school sweetheart right afterwards pretty much. But the only way is up, right? It can't get worse... right?!

Gaza is experiencing a devastating war that has forced many families, including mine, to flee our homes repeatedly. Each time we are displaced, we are unable to take anything with us, losing the little food and clothing we managed to store.

We are enduring an unimaginable crisis right now, facing severe shortages of food and water tainted with harmful viruses and bacteria. This contamination is causing dangerous skin and respiratory diseases, and we are now also grappling with an outbreak of polio.

The scarcity of food is not just a hardship; it is a relentless torment, leaving us weakened and ill. Our lack of income, or rather its complete absence, is tearing our family apart, leaving us helpless and struggling to survive.

This suffering is beyond what any living being should endure. Imagine spending just one night in these conditions how would you feel? From the depths of our hearts, we desperately implore you to support us, to help us escape this famine and the devastation of war.

Our home, my workplace, and all my sources of income as a software developer have been destroyed due to the war. With no stable place to stay and no source of income, we are struggling to survive.

We urgently need your help to:

Purchase essential food and clothing for my family, Secure a temporary shelter, and Leaving Gaza and seeking a safe place to start a new life for me and my family.

Therefore, I implore you to help us provide food, water, and a safe place outside of Gaza for me and my family. Your donations will make a significant difference in our lives. EA update good news

Because i saw notes that it is harmless and the play button was blocked, i updated the game ( though my processor is 9th gen but again, blocked play button, and I did not know the "go in offline mode" trick). I was suspicious though, but what can a girl do...

Then i read messages it might break core mods. I have several, so yikes!

But no worries

Other than the simler90' slander, I trust them.

The seven mods igazor mentions are the only ones you need to be worried about, but even if you get a mismatch error message, it is safe to ignore and play the game. Nothing going on.

Any problems are more likely to come from other conflicts or outdated mods.

It is of course still a new development, but for now all seems well.

But before any Sims stuff I just want to say – around two weeks ago I watched Dune Part 2 in the theater and it was EPIC. Like I'm not a sci-fi fan at all (I like a few movies and read a few books, hardly ever actively seek the genre out though) and my jaw was on the floor because of the visuals, the plot, the atmosphere...!! 🤯

I will have an extra-long weekend this well, weekend, so I've been planning to revamp my game! I want to get rid of a bunch of broken a/o not useful anymore CC I have, check my settings, maybe refresh my defaults and editing... The Halens stay though! I want to see what happens with them.
