I’m sorry did you say 2 YEARS!?
3am
A/N: This was really bad so my apologies, I'm really struggling with the creativity at the moment.
Warnings: angst, cheating

"So where were you?" Natasha was admittedly startled by the question. It was nearing 3 am and she had just walked into your shared apartment, she had expected you to be asleep. Slowly she walked over to where you were in the darkened kitchen. "What are you doing awake?" Natasha could feel her heart hammering in her chest slightly as a dry scoff left you.
"Where were you, Natasha?" You didn't look at her, just stared into the glass of whiskey in your hand. She was tempted to ask you how many glasses you had—had but decided against it quickly. Swallowing her resolve she sighed. "I was just catching up on some paperwork." The defensiveness of her tone didn't fall short on you. "You must have a real hefty stack of paperwork to do seeing as this is the fifth time you've stayed after to finish it." You raised the glass to your lips and took a long sip of the dark liquid, enjoying the burn down your throat.
"So tell me, what's got you so distracted that you have to stay at work until ungodly hours of the night? Or rather, who's got you so distracted?" Natasha froze in shock before quickly masking it with her usual mask of neutrality. Finally glancing over at her you chuckled at her silent state before shaking your head and looking ahead of you. Downing the rest of the liquor in your glass you slammed it down onto the table before abruptly standing up. You caught Natasha's flinch out the corner of your eye. You almost felt bad for scaring her.
She opened her mouth to give you what you could
only assume was to be another lie. "Aht aht ah," you turned your head to her and leveled her with a hard glare. "This will be the last time you lie to me." Your words caused here's to die in her throat. Calmly, you let your eyes roam over her. Even in the darkness, you could see her subtle attempts to cover up the few marks he had left on her. You surged forward and firmly grasped her jaw. She went to fight but froze as her eyes met yours. Behind all the anger you were pushing forward was so much pain, the pain you never intended to truly show her.
You tilted her neck to the side before rubbing away at a spot on her neck before letting go of her and stepping away. "You would think a master of disguise such as yourself would be able to hide a simple hickey well enough." You weren't looking at her as you spoke. Your attention had flicked from the dark mark on her neck to your foundation covered fingers. When no response came from her you walked over to the sink and rinsed off your fingers.
"Bruce forget rule number one of sneaking around? Never leave a mark?" Your back was to her as you spoke. "Oh wait, I forgot. He's not a spy so he may not know the rules. But you know that I do, unless you had forgotten Natalia, I also work for SHEILD as a clearance level 8 agent." You laughed slightly. "Can you believe that? Clearance level 8. The only people who know more than me are Maria and Nick and you thought you would be able to hide your little escapades from me."
Turning to her you took note of the guilt written all over her face. You rolled up your sleeves and leaned back against the sink before crossing your arms. "So tell me, what did you want once this was all through?" When you gained nothing but silence from her you lost your temper a bit. "Tell me!" Nat visibly jumped at the rise in your voice. You had never, never, raised your voice at her in all your time of knowing her. "Don't you dare speak to me that way." She growled out, fists clenching at her sides.
You let out a genuine laugh of shock. "Oh well excuse me, Natalia. No, you know what? You're right, I'm sorry. I'm so so very sorry that I hurt your feelings by raising my voice at you." You pushed off the counter and walked over to the couch in your small living room. "Forgive me if I'm a little upset to find out that my girlfriend has been running around behind my back for the past four months with someone I considered a friend, a man I trusted."
Natasha watched you as you bent down over the couch and pulled up a large duffel bag before slinging it over your shoulder. "What are you doing?" Nat asked as she began to walk over to you. Standing up tall you looked at her with a cold stare. "I'm leaving. I refuse to stay with you any longer." You brushed past her and walked to the door.
"Y/N, wait!" She reached out and took hold of your arm. She half expected you to snatch your arm away, but you didn't. Instead, you froze before taking a deep breath and turning to her. "You never loved me, did you?" You let some of the pain that gripped your heart lace your words.
Natasha looked into your eyes, opening her mouth to speak only to close it immediately afterward. Slowly, she let go of your arm and stepped back, looking to the ground. "I thought I did." Those few words alone almost brought you to tears. You wanted to rant and scream at her for hurting you. How could she? You had trusted her, let her see the most intimate parts of you, something no one else had ever seen before. You let her into your mind and heart and she turned around and betrayed you. She ripped your heart out and stomped at it, and yet you couldn't bring yourself to be mad at her any longer. But you wouldn't rant, you wouldn't scream, you wouldn't shout. You wouldn't do anything because in that moment you could tell Natasha was being the most honest she could ever be with you.
She truly had believed that she was in love with you but then Bruce came along and proved her wrong. Your shoulders deflated before you nodded and turned to the door. Opening it you paused as you heard a slight sniffle come from the woman behind you. Taking a deep breath you closed your eyes and said. "I hope you get what you wanted. Truly I do." With that you walked out the door, closing it gently behind you, leaving Natasha to crumble to the floor in a pool of her own heartache and grief. The heartache and grief she had brought upon herself.

When you woke in the hospital after your accident, the first thing you noticed was the tugging of an IV shoved into the vein on your hand. You’d never had good veins, never hydrated enough for the physician to get you on the first stick. Even then, blood was hard to withdraw. Yet, in the alleyway, it had been easy. So simple to color the walls with red.
The doctors called you a miracle, waking from a coma after nearly a month in the same bed. There were flashes of consciousness, little moments of clarity when you could have sworn you heard your mother's voice through the roaring shouts of something strange- something large and birdlike that claimed the ability to save you from yourself.
And then your aunt, who had a call stronger than your mother. It was something shrill and filled with malice. It seemed to cut through everything like a knife against wet clay. Even then, you knew she was angry, a tube forced down your throat and a monitor beeping like a metronome.
When you woke now, there was a warmth to the air, the scent of pumpkin. Cotton candy pink light flitted through a propped window and sheer white curtains. You were fuzzy, your arm aching something fierce, fingers going numb on both hands. Maybe you’d prefer the Iv.
There was a buzzing, a ringing in your ears. You struggled to find your place, remembering things in pieces; like Natasha’s soft pink lips, the scent of her breath- the fact that she had electrocuted you with what felt like a thousand volts of ‘fuck you’.
“Is she dead?” a soft whispered voice made your eyes flutter.
“No. She is still breathing. People who breathe are not dead.” A thick Russian voice responded. You could feel their presence but couldn’t’ bring yourself to open your eyes again, the light was too bright. “I do not know what Natasha sees in this one. She goes for the strong, silent, type and she does not seem like either.”
You groaned then, trying to shift. There was metal around both of your wrists. Okay- that was enough to pull you out of whatever pain-filled daze you were in. Hitting the brink of death had been easy, painless because of the morphine and your own self-reliance. This, on the other hand, thrummed through every inch of your body like a bad hangover.
Your stare went straight to the bottom of a sink. Someone had looped a pair of industrial handcuffs around your wrists and through the gap under the porcelain basin and the pipe. They were larger cuffs, rimmed in a glowing, pulsating blue. You drew in a sharp breath, hitting your forehead against the tiled wall behind you.
You swore “Son of a Bitch,”
“Most definitely not either.” The second voice reiterated the dizzying statement. You flinched and turned your head to the opposite side and met the curious eyes of two women that you had never seen before. They lingered in the stilted doorway; arms crossed. Neither of them reacted to your stony glare.
“She must be something special if Nat broke her sacred shield rules for her.” The brunette said.
“She can hear you,”
Your voice was scratchy, barely above a whisper. The blonde looked unphased, but her companion seemed to cower a bit at her own statement. Neither of them took their eyes of off you. Uncomfortable was an understatement.
“Ah, zaika, I think you’ve embarrassed the prisoner.”
A startlingly familiar sound filled the air, Natasha clearing her throat. Your head was pounding, screaming at you, really. Your shoulders were enveloped in stiff pain, back throbbing. It had been years since you spent the night on a tiled bathroom floor. Usually, it involved more alcohol and the purging of it.
Part of you was relieved that she was here, wherever here was. The two women grumpily pulled themselves from the doorframe at one stony look from the redhead. They wandered into the hallway, mumbling something about breakfast, which truly didn’t sound like a horrible idea.
A small black cat weaved between Natasha’s feet, rumbling in contentment at her presence. Neon green eyes blinked at you. Your shoulders relaxed a tad. You were a sucker for animals, and this one was tiny, unbelievably adorable.
“You feeling okay?” Natasha finally asked, pushing the sleeves of her grey sweater to her elbows. You glared at her. It was an odd time to start caring about your well-being. “Don’t pout. I’m doing you a favor here.”
“If locking me in a bathroom is considered a favor, I’d hate to see your disservice.”
Instead of answering you, she walked to the sink, flicking on the faucet. You flinched as the metal of the cuffs vibrated against the pipe. She filled a small mug with cold water and squatted down next to you.
“It would be easy for me to get out of these.”
“Want to give it a shot?”
There was something daring in her eyes. You frowned and tried to gather your thoughts. Over the years, you’d grown used to simply willing the suit to do as you wish. But the hugging sensation didn’t’ appear this time. Neither did the burst of strength that usually came with it. You opened you pulled at the restraints.
“Magnetic destabilizing handcuffs.” She smirked at you. “We weren’t sure if it would work on the gods, but if Strange can be reigned in with them, there’s a good chance you could too.”
She guided her fingers to your jaw, goosebumps rising against your skin. Simply, she instructed you to drink. You hadn’t realized how thirsty you were until you could see the bottom of the mug. You were obedient, tired, and hazy in your post-electrocuted state.
“Good girl. Now, here is how this is going to go. I have a meeting with your aunt today. She wants the scarab. I’m going to give it to her. You had the right idea, letting her lead us to where we need to be.”
“That’s all well and good, Natty, but do I have to be here during your little exhibition? We could do this together, you know?”
“Do you know why Khonsu wants to get there?”
You clenched your jaw and swallowed the remaining taste of the water on your tongue. She could read you well, could read anyone well with talents like hers. You were simply his avatar, and from your experience, avatars weren’t at liberty to know anything their masters did not want them to.
“I complete his will.” You gritted.
“Which is precisely the problem, y/n.” She stood and replaced the mug, moving her hands against her pants to dry them. “Yelena and Kate will keep an eye on you while I’m gone. Your aunt and mother think that you’ve gotten some sort of bug on the trip.”
“Ironic.”
Natasha rolled her eyes, pulling a small fob from her pocket. She hit a switch on the front. The two cuffs broke apart at the center. You let out a hiss of pain as your rigid muscles got a much-needed break.
In a moment of renewed defiance, you moved to sweep your arm at her feet. That’s what Khonsu would have wanted, after all, for you to escape and get these things off, restoring your link. Besides, part of you wanted to get the woman back for the ungodly amount of electricity she had sent through you.
She brought her knee into your abdomen. You let go of the breath that you held, and she hit the button again. The two halves of the cuffs slammed back together with apt force. You let out a grunt, turning on your back from the strength of the hit.
“Magnetic, remember?”
“Yeah. I remember.”
It was worth a shot, anyway. Natasha grasped the center of the cuffs with her brute strength and pulled you to your feet. There wasn’t much choice in the matter, after all. She pulled you down the hallway, the small creature trotting behind both of you like this was a common practice. For all you knew, it was.
The living area was quaint, decorated in muted colors. There was a soft leather couch, a small coffee table, and television that was surrounded by aged books. There was tasteful art on the walls. The blonde woman flipped through a magazine, leaning against the breakfast bar. The brunette was shoving a mouthful of cereal into her mouth, tipping her spoon at the two of you as she chewed thoughtfully.
This was what was in charge of watching you? God, this might be easier than you thought. Natasha pulled you forward by your hands, shoving you into one of the barstools. She rested her hands on your shoulder. One of the girls offered you a bite of cereal, milk dripping into the bowl.
“Yelena is a widow,” The woman behind you seemed to decipher your line of thinking.
“It is true. Unlike my sister, I will not hesitate.”
“Noted,” You rasped.
Whatever they had shackled around your wrists had some serious firepower. You had taken the superhuman healing for granted for way too long. Your throat stung and your skin was buzzing with mortality. It was stupid, this headache was stupid and so were these cuffs. You couldn’t help the creaking glare you leveled Natasha with, even if she had squeezed your shoulder with an heir of lovingness on her way out the door.
Yelena let out a labored sigh and flipped the page of her magazine to another moment in pop culture. Boring. The scent of freshly printed paper made your stomach churn so you focused your gaze on the woman who must be Kate. Her chewing slowed. You lifted an eyebrow at her.
“What can you do?”
“For starters, I engineered that tech that took you out.” She shot back. “And I’m an expert marksman. I’m Hawkeye.”
“I thought Hawkeye was a dude. That guy your father or something?”
Yelena let out a barking laugh and Kate’s cheeks reddened. Lover, maybe, though she seemed too young for that. All of you did; sitting in a small, warm kitchen together. There was a strange amount of violence in your life, starting with the moment you were gunned down. Your shoulder ached, and your heart did too.
Kate swallowed a gulp of milk from her bowl “No. He’s my mentor.”
You nodded and let the subject die in the air, much like your patience. Natasha’s plan was going to work. There wasn’t much to it, really. It gave Dina an excuse to not see you. After all, she was determined that you were going to fail, and you had, miserably.
She couldn’t keep you here forever, could she? Though part of you had to admit, looking at a small piece of Natasha’s life, her real life, was thrilling. You could imagine yourself ordering take-out here, because neither of you could cook, curled up on her sofa with the small black cat. In another world, you would have met Natasha’s sister over a drink, and not over restraints. In the real world, she shut her magazine and studied you as any widow would.
“Natasha said that you are a vigilante,” Yelena said.
“Not a vigilante. I serve a God. Whatever he wants, I do.” You said.
“Ah, so like, Charlie Manson.” Kate said.
“No, it’s not like that.” You frowned and made a nervous tug at your restraints. It wouldn't do anything, the metal dug further into your wrists with its stinging edge. Still, but made you feel like you were doing something, not just sitting here with the scent of sugary cereal in your lungs. “I owe him a debt. He saved my life.”
“The Red Room saved my life. Natasha’s too. They gave us food, shelter, what we thought was love.” Yelena gave Kate a tender look, one of gratitude, and maybe something more. It felt like you were witnessing something you shouldn't. Her stare turned hard again “They also brainwashed us and manipulated us to kill. They trained us into assassins with a dripping ledger for a debt owed.”
You repeated weakly, mind tired “It’s not like that.”
Yelena didn’t’ push after that. She let out a deep sigh and turned the page of her magazine to another dump of tabloids. Aliens spotted in Kansas; the large crop circles were a bunch of drunk teenagers. An amusement part that combusted was the fault of a chewed electrical wire.
Kate had granted you with a blanket and another cup of water before redirecting you to the sofa as if you had a common cold. She explained that she and Yelena had been catching up on all the classic films she could think of. Yelena hated Back to the Future, but cried at Sixteen Candles- laughed at Heather's.
You had been in worse situations. This almost felt normal, like you had just ordered takeout and popped in a VHS tape. But sometimes the cuffs tugged, and your exhaustion flared. By the time they settled on Titanic, your eyes felt heavy, and you gave in to sleep, breathing in the soft lavender scent that clung to Natasha’s blankets. The small black cat curled behind your legs; your breath lined up.
Yelena had fallen asleep against Kate’s chest when you awoke. The end credits of the movie scrolled at a molasses pace. Your throat was sore, the small animal purring against the crook of your arm. You didn’t remember the cat moving, nor did you recall drifting into unconsciousness. Maybe you did need rest, after all.
“They’re fantastic at this guarding thing, huh?”
You drew in a sharp and cold breath, eyes darting to Natasha. She was leaning against the back of the sofa. A fond smile on her face as she looked at her sister and the archer. The blonde's fingers knit through Kate’s shirt, holding it as an anchor.
“I like your cat,”
“Liho likes you, it seems.”
Her deep green eyes flicked in your direction. Goosebumps rose against your skin, blush moving to your cheeks. This was Natasha, you realized. She was being vulnerable with you, as you had been with her. Allowing you into her home, to meet her sister. Superpowered handcuffs or not, this was her being lenient.
“I hate to admit it, but you had the right idea, letting your aunt lead us to the tomb. I’ve been trained in the best methods of tracking, recovering.” She frowned, moving her hand over the folded fabric of the couch “But ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics are out of my scope.”
You pulled yourself into a sitting position, careful not to disturb the small cat. She shifted easily onto your lap with nothing more than a little huff and the twitch of a pink nose. Natasha looked at you tentatively and sat on the other end of the couch. You could smell her again, the floral odor of detergent and warmth. It relaxed you.
Her knee was folded under her, touching yours. She reached over and scratched Liho under the chin. The cat let out a small mew of appreciation. It brought a smile to your face.
“You could have turned me over the SHIELD. You didn’t. Why?”
“They tend to react impulsively upon things they do not understand. And they certainly would not understand you. I don’t understand you.” She frowned, pulling her hand back into her lap. “But I think I want to.”
There were reserves, of course, there were. Her breath was warm against your collarbone. You had both inadvertently leaned in. There was coffee and mint on her exhale. You had buzzed the last time you’d inched this close. First figuratively, and then literally. But here, you were restrained, compliant. Too exhausted to make awkward sarcastic jokes. You wanted to drown in this moment.
She closed the distance between, nose cold against your cheek. Her taste was thinly sweet, the kiss tender and careful. Your fingers twitched, eager to weave into her mane of red hair, the cuffs preventing you from pulling her closer. Her own hand moved up to cup your jaw. You sighed into her mouth, content.
Natasha whimpered when you pulled away, a quiet sound. It shot something right to your core. You drew in a deep breath and smiled. That was something you could do all day if your lungs hadn’t been screaming for air. Even then, you considered it a good way to go.
“Thank you for not knocking me unconscious that time.” You spoke.
She laughed, shaking her head. There was a comfortable stillness to the air, an electric charge that had fizzled into longing. Yelena grumbled into the small of Kate’s neck, the sound muffled. Kate continued to snore softly in tune to Liho, still in your lap.
“Do you think you can let me out of these things?” You asked, putting on your best puppy dog look, hoping it would melt the mighty widow. “I promise I won’t go all Avatar on you, I’ll even wear them as fancy glowing bracelets.”
She narrowed her eyes at you. There was no way you could stack up against two widows and an archer. Natasha must have read your mind because she produced the small magnetic fob and unlatched the cuffs, your shoulders relaxed, and the familiar ache that always plagued the one throbbed feverishly.
It gave you enough lead way to ghost your fingertips against her cheek, the warmth of her skin under yours. You had been wanting to do that for a long time, feel the way her features settled into a frown or a warm sunny smile. Natasha was beautiful and dangerous, and that gave you a spike of adrenaline.
You kissed Natasha again, fingers fisting her collar. It was urgent this time, like the thought of breathing her in was keeping you alive. But then again, it wasn’t.
You think toys from the Avengers box of tricks will keep me at bay? Get rid of her.
He was.

Not His (repost)
A/N: this is a repost cause like 10 people saw this since I posted it at 3am 😭😭 this is a smut request from my Wattpad so mature audiences only 18+
He was looking at her again. His glances from across the room were always short and shy, the man had a hard time holding eye contact, let alone looking at the redhead assassin that made his heart race.
While his glances were shy, they were too frequent for your liking. Every few minutes or so when you let your eyes scan over the party-goers, you would find Bruce looking over at Natasha like a boy with a schoolyard crush.
If Nat noticed his glances, you couldn't tell. She was always good at hiding if she knew who was or who wasn't looking at her.
You couldn't blame Bruce for his fixation on the Russian, especially tonight. She was wearing a dark red body-con dress with perfect hair and make-up to match.
The woman looked absolutely mouthwatering and was catching the attention of many of the party-goers. The party-goers didn't bother you so much as they were only here for tonight.
They weren't a constant, unlike a certain shy scientist.
"You break that glass, you're paying for it," Tony mused while raising his glass to his lips. He had noticed your less than friendly glances being thrown at Banner all night. "Same goes for my lab partner."
You couldn't help the smile that crossed your lips. "Trust me, picking a fight with Banner is something I'd like to steer clear of. At least a physical one."
Tony hummed. "Than a good ol' fashioned, let's see who gets the girl first."
Flashing a smile, you raised your glass to your lips before taking a sip. "That's not very fair to poor Banner. That's a very steep, uphill fight."
Sam, who had been with you and Tony for the better part of the conversation looked just over your shoulder. "That hill might not be as steep as you think, L/N."
Eyebrow raised, you turned to see what Sam was talking about and felt your jaw lock.
It was obvious she was flirting. Her hand was gently resting on Banner's forearm and she leaned into him just enough to draw the man in.
You had seen that smile many times before. She had used it many times on your undercover missions, when talking to some of the agents around the compound, hell, even on you.
That smile had left many broken and pinning hearts in its wake and right now, it was making Banner putty in her hands.
The man was smiling harder than he had in a very long time, and it made you livid.
You had nothing against Banner, of course; He was one of your favorite members of the team. It was a shame the redhead at his side was putting him in your bad graces.
Turning back to Tony and Sam, you drank the rest of the contents of your glass before handing it to the billionaire. "Gentlemen." You said before turning and walking away from them.
You didn't head straight for Natasha, instead, you walked over to where Wanda was speaking with Carol and Valk.
"Y/N, we were wondering when you'd find your way over here," Carol smirked at you. The look in her eyes was all too knowing.
Smiling at your blonde friend, you shrugged. "Tony has a way with keeping his guests occupied." The young redhead to your left laughed. "Somehow, I don't believe he's what's occupying your mind."
"Ever the perceptive one, Wan. Or were you just in my head?" You mused. Valk rolled her eyes and shifted her weight into one foot. "Doesn't take a telepath to know what's on your mind, Y/N."
Carol glanced over at Nat and Bruce. You would think the man was the funniest person in the room with the way she threw her head back in laughter.
"She's really making a show of it." Your favorite captain mused. "Mmm," you nodded. "If it's a show she wants, it's a show she'll get." You said softly before looking at the three women. "Ladies."
Leaving the trio, you made your way over to where Natasha and Bruce were standing with Steve, Bucky, Thor, and Hill.
"Hey guys," You greeted with a bright smile. "Ah, Lady Y/N! Come to join us have you?" Thor boomed when he saw you. You were always one of his favorites.
"Not this time, big guy." You chuckled and shook your head. "I'm just doing my rounds before I call it a night."
Steve's face slightly twisted in confusion, you weren't one to usually call it this early. "So soon? Is something the matter?"
Smiling at the man's concerned tone, you once again shook your head. "No, no. I just plan on getting up a bit earlier tomorrow. I think a run will do me some good."
If they could tell you were lying through your teeth or not, none of them said anything. Satisfied with your excuse, you said your good nights and set off towards the exit.
As you left the group, you discreetly brushed past Natasha, giving her hip a firm pinch as you walked away.
You knew she would follow you once she got the chance to slip away.
She wouldn't dare stay after that.
———————————
About 15 minutes had gone by since your little encounter with Natasha, and like clockwork, there was a knock on your door.
Straightening up, you walked over and opened it. Your eyes fell on her with a heated gaze. Nat knew what she had done had left you in a less than happy mood.
It excited her.
A loud gasp left her when her back was slammed against your bedroom door. Your eyes were dangerously narrow when they met hers.
Natasha did her best to keep her expression calm, but there was no missing the way her eyes widened ever so slightly.
Your eyes didn't leave hers while your hand reached beside her and locked the door she was pressed against.
The air between you was thick. Natasha had never been one to cave under pressure but right now, it was suffocating.
"You're quite the little tease aren't you?" Natasha was relieved when you finally broke the silence. She still kept her mouth shut. If she spoke it would just get worse for her.
You lowered your face into Natasha's neck and smirked against her pulse point. Her heart was racing and you hadn't even started yet.
"You shouldn't toy with the poor man. Don't dangle what he can't have in front of him." Your lips brushed over her smooth skin and she instinctively tilted her neck to the side to give you more room to work.
Your hands trailed up the curves of her sides, this dress didn't leave much to the imagination.
You loved it.
A moan left the redhead when you kissed a particularly sensitive part of her neck. "It seems to have done the job." She smirked.
You pulled back your face with a gruff chuckle. "Yes, it did." Her teasing had wound you up to a point where the only way you could see yourself letting go of all this energy was pounding her into your mattress.
You knew that was exactly what she wanted you to do, but you were going to make her wait for it. You couldn't let her win that easily.
You pushed off the woman and walked over to your bed, where you sat on the edge of it.
Natasha watched your movements intently and felt her mouth dry up when you patted your lap. Obediently, she walked over and sat herself down on your lap.
Your smirk widened when another gasp left Natasha. She bit her lip and gently ground her hips down, trying her hardest to grind on the strap you were wearing in your pants.
While one of your hands grabbed hold of her hip to hold her still, your other tilted her jaw to the side.
She hadn't worn any jewelry tonight, which wasn't a problem for you. Your hand would do just fine adorning her throat for the night.
Still, you couldn't help but entertain the idea of a pretty little collar decorating her neck. "Maybe I should get you a collar so you don't forget who you belong to."
It was the perfect plan. On one side of the little tag it could have your initials and on the other...well, you were torn between "bitch" or "slut".
Both would suit her well.
The idea of a collar claiming her as yours seemed to excite the assassin in your lap. Her cheeks flushed a bit and her pupils dilated.
You moved your hand from Natasha's neck and down to her other hip. Your lips found their way back to her neck and soon began their assault.
For each suck and nip, you delivered to the redhead's neck, your ears were met with the soft pants and breathy moans of your lover.
Your hands trailed up her legs and moved slowly along the soft skin on her inner thighs.
"Please, I thought teasing was beneath you." Natasha breathed out. Her arms draped themselves over your shoulders, while one hand tangled itself in your hair.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. You'll be there soon enough." You chuckled against her skin. Natasha's response came out as a deep moan. You had found the place she had wanted you at the most.
"No panties?" You raised an eyebrow. "You were really counting on me fucking you tonight, hmm?"
Natasha's deep laugh filled your ears, causing a shiver to run down your spine. "What can I say? I've always known how to place my bets."
"Well then, let's give you that payout you wanted."
—————————
"Fuck...!" Natasha gripped the bedsheets beneath her when you slammed into her from behind. Her once pristine neck was now littered with angry red marks and love bites.
"Such a filthy mouth, Natasha. I'm disappointed." You chastised while drawing your hips back once more.
Usually, she would give some sort of snarky reply but found she was at a loss for words when you began to thrust in and out of her.
"Y/N...Fuck baby..." she panted. Your name sounded so sweet when she moaned it like that. You couldn't get enough.
Slamming into her hard, you smirked. "I shouldn't be giving you what you want after that stunt you pulled." You groaned as your hips slapped against her ass. "You were all over him."
Your harsh tone paired with your rough speed only had Nat withering under you. It was clear she was close.
You reached a hand into her hair and tugged back on it, eliciting a deep moan from the Russian.
"I wonder what your little boyfriend Banner would do if he knew what you were doing right now." You growled. "What would he say?"
Natasha whined loudly and shook her head. "He's...he's not my boyfriend." She struggled to get out through her moans.
You slowed your hips to a painful pace, much to Nat's dismay; She was so, so close. "I don't like the way he looks at you." Your breath was heavy and hot against her ear. "You aren't his, only I get to look at you that way. Do you understand?"
Her red curls bounced rapidly in reply. "Use your words, Tasha." You demanded and tugged on her hair harder.
"Yes! Yes, I understand," she cried out. "Please let me cum. Please..."
She sounded so needy like this. The mighty Black Widow begging you as if her life depended on it while she was bare beneath you. Pathetic.
You loved it.
Pulling back, you slid your hands up and down her sides with a contemplative smirk playing at your lips.
"Well," you chuckled deeply. "Since you want to cum so badly, why don't we see how many times I can make you cum right now?"
The answer was four. You could make her cum four times one right after the other.

⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷⋆⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
You stand in the back, unnoticed by everyone, as you lean against the wall and stare at Natasha.
She looks beautiful tonight. Well, she always looked beautiful, but you could tell that she had put extra effort into her appearance tonight. Natasha had taken hours to find the perfect dress and heels. She took hours curling her hair into loose curls and keeping them in place. You had watched her do her makeup delicately, choosing red lipstick because it made everything about her pop out.
Your eyes had scanned the room briefly. It was rather crowded as all of Tony's get-togethers are. You think it's kind of funny how easy it was for you to blend into the wall at the back.
You dressed up tonight, too, though you doubt anyone really noticed. Your hands rested behind you, crossed and trapped between the wall and your back. You had your knee bent as your foot rested at the angle against the wall.
You stare at Natasha, who's standing with Steve. People like them stand out, no matter how crowded the room is.
"Hey, loner."
You look over, startled to see Wanda slide up to you and join you by being a wallflower.
"Hey," you say softly, turning your head back. Wanda follows your gaze, quicker to catch at what you're staring at because it's not like you're being subtle.
She's speaking with Steve, and her hands are gripping the neck of her champagne glass tightly—a habit you know she does when she's nervous.
She's laughing at whatever Steve is saying, cheeks slightly pink. They look good together. The unabashed way you stare in their direction must make people think you're the other woman trying to come between them. If only they knew that the ring on your left hand had been a promise to you made by Natasha.
"Do you want to go grab a drink or dance?" Wanda asks because it just fucking kills her to see you standing here, staring at Natasha and breaking your own heart.
"No, it's okay," you answer softly, unable to rip your gaze away.
You should look away.
But it's like a sickness you can't stop. You can't stop staring at how Natasha's body is open to Steve, how he's leaning closer to her. Steve's hands are jammed deep into his pocket, a boyish shyness to him and a charming smile directed right at Natasha.
Things had changed since the two of them had been on the run together. You stayed because someone had to help them from the inside. Now you sorely regret not going on the run with them too. Would it have been different if you had?
Would you be the one standing with Natasha, flushed from flirting and the champagne as you stood a little too close?
It's hard to say since things have been different for so long now. You're suddenly hyperaware of how stupid you must be for hanging on as long as you have.
"C'mon," Wanda says as she grabs your arm to pull you towards them. You feel your stomach drop, anxiousness creeping up at the thought of approaching your own wife.
They don't seem to notice you and Wanda coming closer, and that feels worse.
"Hey, guys," Wanda butts in, her tone rather terse.
The two of them turn, almost surprised to be caught off-guard.
"Hey," Natasha says warmly as she smiles at you and kisses you on the cheek.
You want to feel happy for the gesture of affection, but you just feel empty. But you play the part of the loving wife with nothing wrong.
"Hi, babe," you smile lightly at her back before she turns back to Steve, and they jump back into whatever conversation they were in before you interrupted.
There should be some comfort in the fact that Natasha has her arm loosely around your waist, but there isn't. You stand there, lost. Listening half-heartedly to their conversation, you realize quickly it isn't anything you can contribute to.
You're just—there.
Your skin feels itchy. You feel like you're not even in your own body.
Look away. Look. Away.
You feel something clawing at your throat, desperate to say something. Desperate to make yourself noticed.
Before you can say anything, there's a sudden commotion. Some young business associate had drunk way too much as he started stumbling about. He bumped into a nearby waiter, sending the man toppling over, his tray of champagnes falling everywhere.
Your body tenses as its first reaction, and you suddenly feel splashes of cold liquid hit you all over. The moment is over quickly as you stand there with wide eyes.
There's champagne all over you. It's in your hair and drenched your front. You can faintly taste it on your lips, and you feel—sticky.
But none of that mattered.
None of that mattered because you see Wanda, Natasha, and Steve looking at you, shocked when you look up.
Your waist was cold, and it was cold because Natasha and Steve stood a little further away than they were before.
The realization of what happened makes you feel colder than the champagne you're drenched in.
Natasha had dropped her hand around your waist and had moved to push Steve out of the way.
Your wife's instinct was to save Steve.
That desperation in your throat morphed into rawness, and your eyes sting.
"Oh, god, honey," Natasha instantly started to say as she moved to you. "Are you okay? Let me—"
"I got it," Wanda cut in harshly, and you look over for the first time.
Part of Wanda's hand is wet, with droplets of champagne on her clothes and hair.
The second realization had you stifling a choked sob.
Wanda had tried to move you out of the way. Your wife's first thought wasn't you.
Natasha frowned. "No, I can—"
"You're a little busy, aren't you?" Wanda sniped, and Natasha is taken back by the tone. She frowned, opening her mouth to say something when you cut in.
"It's fine," you croaked, forcing your mouth to smile, even if your lips are trembling. "Wanda and I are the only ones who got it. We can go clean up. You should stay here."
Natasha seemed to stare at you, pensive, before she nodded, and it cracked your chest open a little more.
She used to never accept so easily.
Natasha turned to Wanda warily, who turned away and acted like she was grumpy from having champagne spilled on her.
You give Natasha one last reassuring smile that she returns before she turns back to Steve. He looked at you curiously, as if to ask if you were okay and you wanted to scream at him—scream and tell him to find his own woman.
But you let Wanda lead you away.
The commotion easily faded away, and people resume back like nothing happened—like your ribs hadn't been cracked open for everyone to see the final shatter of your heart.
You can't help but look back. See? It was a sickness.
Natasha had said multiple times that you had nothing to worry about, that she loved you. She told you Steve was just a friend.
But as you look at how Natasha shifts from foot to foot, a twinkle in her eye, you can't help but think—friends don't look at friends that way.

If I do a part two she definitely was going to be getting her actual Liho (her cat in the comics) and Bucky was gonna get Alpine (his cat in the comics) 😭😭
Curiosity Killed the Cat
A/N: this was a long awaited request from my Wattpad. The cat in question is a large black Maine coon.
Oh, Stark was gonna pay for this one.
You hadn’t entirely worked out how you would get him back, but you were going to get him back.
The day had started on the more mundane side so you decided to visit your favorite scientists. Tony was the only one in the lab that day which meant the two of you would be able to goof off without spooking Bruce.
It started okay. Tony showed you around their latest projects and you made sure he wasn’t making any more sentient murder bots.
Eventually, Tony got bored of showing you all his stuff and suggested you two look at something else. You should have said no based on the twinkle he had in his eyes but since you had nothing better to do and didn’t feel like having Steve force you to train, you reluctantly followed him over to Bruce’s station.
“Banner has been working on this serum for weeks,” he explained while typing a code into a locked case. You should have listened to the voice in the back of your head that was telling you to get the fuck outta dodge.
Of course, you didn’t listen.
“What is it?” You asked as Tony pulled out one of the vials of purple liquid from the case. The billionaire shrugged. “From what Banner has told me, it’s supposed to help him transform from the hulk into something much more harmless if we can’t get him to calm down.”
“Will this work better than Natasha’s lullaby?” Your question gained another shrug from Tony. “We have no clue. He’s still testing it.”
Tony hadn’t taken his eyes off the liquid since he had taken the vial out. The spark in his eyes brightened a bit which set off countless alarm bells in your head.
“Well, Tony I’m gonna head out. I won’t apart or a witness of you fucking up Bruce’s shit.”
When you turned to leave Tony made to follow you. “Y/N, wait—“
The sound of one of the rolling stools and a loud crash soon followed by a harsh curse from the billionaire made you jump a bit.
Whipping around, you were met with a distressed Tony on the floor beside a purple puddle filled with broken glass.
“Nice going, genius.” You groaned, earning a glare from the man on the floor. “Shut up and get some paper towels, will you?”
Heaving a heavy sigh you turned around and walked over to where the cleaning supplies were kept. Leave it to a man with years of scientific experience to spill a highly unpredictable experiment that wasn’t even his!
Just as you made it to the counter, you noticed something was very wrong.
You now found yourself looking up at the counter as if you had fallen to the ground. You couldn’t remember falling, hell, you didn’t even feel an impact.
“Hey, Tony? I think some of that stuff got on me. I don’t feel too well.”
He didn’t reply; just kept grumbling to himself about how stupid he was and how Bruce was gonna kill him.
“Tony!” You called out louder. “Hey, don’t ignore me, dickhead, this could be serious.”
Still no reply.
With a huff, you went to push yourself off the ground only to find that you were still standing up. But that couldn’t be right because the counter was all the way up there and you were still all the way down here…
You had paws. You had looked down at yourself and saw that you now had a pair of pitch-black paws. Why the hell do you have paws?
“Y/N? What the hell is taking you so long?” Tony asked from his spot on the floor. “She better not have left me here.” He muttered.
Tony got up and made his way over to your spot. “Son of a bitch…” Tony looked around the lab to see if he could find your hiding spot, that was if you were still in the lab.
“Yeah, very mature, Y/N. Leaving me with a cat in a time like this.” Tony looked down at the cat in slight disgust. “I hate cats.”
You were frankly offended that, A) he thought you would make a joke like this and B) Why did he hate cats? There were worse animals in the world.
“Hey, smart one. I’m the damn cat.” You said or rather meowed seeing as that’s all Tony could hear.
The man let out a groan before bending over and picking you up. “Put me down you fucking idiot!”
“She had to leave the world's largest and loudest cat too.” He grumbled. Tony held you out at arm's length to study you. With how big you were, your hind legs hung a few inches below his waist. The scene looked like something out of the lion king.
“Yeah, no. You’ve gotta go.”
“Gotta go? Go where? You need to fix this.”
He was already making his way out of the lab which wasn’t any comfort to you. This so-called genius really couldn’t put two and two together. Why do y’all keep him around again?
You were drawn from your thoughts when you noticed Tony walking towards an exit. He was gonna put you outside. “Over my dead body.”
Tony let out a yelp of surprise when you let out a loud yowl and began to squirm out of his grasp. “Hey! Would you cut that out?”
You continued to hiss and squirm until one of your claws nicked him causing the man to drop you to the ground. “Damn cat!” He cursed while starting to chase after you.
You made a beeline in the opposite direction, Tony hot on your heels. You would be damned if he tried to put you outside without a fight.
You could hear him calling after you as you rounded a corner and darted down the hallway. He gave FRIDAY some sort of lockdown command which made you stop in your tracks.
“Fuck…”
You desperately looked for a means to escape when a new scent hit your nose. Looking to the door just ahead of you, you spotted Natasha coming out of one of the conference rooms. “Thank God.”
You quickly rushed over and began to brush up against her legs, meowing loudly to get her attention.
Natasha looked down at you in surprise before looking back and forth along the hallway to try and find who you belonged to.
Bending down, she scooped you up into her arms. It was slightly difficult for her to gather up all of you due to your sheer size but she made due.
“Hello there.” She cooed gently. Her tone was one you had never heard her use before; it made you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Your eyes slipped shut when her nails gently dragged along the top of your head. A loud purring began to rumble from your chest. “This is very nice…”
“Ah-ha!”
Tony’s voice made you nearly jump from Nat’s arms. The redhead glared at the billionaire for startling you. The man slowed his pace on approach and eyed the two of you over.
“Is it yours?” Natasha rolled her eyes at his question. “No, and I’m assuming she isn’t yours either. Why are you chasing her?”
Tony crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. “I was going to remove it from the building and tell Y/N to go collect it once I found her.” He looked at you with a scowl on his face. “She bailed on me and left the cat as one of her pranks.”
Natasha raised a curious eyebrow. “How the hell did you miss her putting a cat this big in your lab?” Exasperatedly, Tony shrugged. “I have no clue and frankly I’m more impressed than pissed.”
He shook his head. “Anyway, what are you gonna do with it?” Your ears pinned back against your head and you let out a low hiss. You were getting tired of him referring to you as an “it”.
Natasha gently scratched under your chin in an attempt to calm you down. “I'll look after the cat, Stark. You find Y/N.”
——————————
It had been a few days now and you were getting used to this whole being a cat thing. Being able to lounge about and not worry about early morning training. Natasha was your primary caretaker meaning you spent most of the day with her or in her room.
She made sure to leave her blinds open during the day so that you could bask in the sun while she was gone. The belly rubs she gave were absolutely to die for and while you had to admit it was beyond weird to have her giving you this attention, you couldn’t bring yourself to move away from her anytime she made to let you.
Nat had also begun to call you Liho, so that was interesting. You couldn’t complain, it was better than whiskers.
The food and pooping in a box was still a downside but it could be much worse.
During the first few days, you would try your hardest to tell everyone who you were. Whenever your real name was mentioned you would meow loudly and make a fuss. Nat and whoever was around at the time chalked it up to a cat really missing their real owner.
After a while, you gave up and accepted your fate. You were going to be stuck as a cat for the foreseeable future and there was nothing you could do about it.
In your current position, that didn’t seem so bad. Nat was sitting in the common room with you stretched out across her lap, her fingers gently running through your fur while she read over some files.
“Hey Nat,” Wanda’s voice caught your attention enough for you to crack one eye open to look at the younger redhead. She leaned over and gently scratched your head, earning a purr from you. “Liho.”
Natasha smiled at the younger woman. “Hey, Wan. Any sign of Y/N?” Natasha was admittedly getting worried about your sudden disappearance. You had always been a bit of a trickster but disappearing for a joke was far, even for you.
The young witch sighed. “Nothing. We’ve been looking everywhere. She seems to have just vanished.”
You let out a heavy sigh at Wanda’s words. “You clearly haven’t been looking hard enough.” You mused while once against making yourself comfortable on Natasha’s lap.
Wanda sat down in one of the loveseats across from the couch the two of you were on. “It just doesn’t add up. Why would she leave us a cat and then just leave?” Wanda asked while eyeing you over.
You met her eyes before flicking your tail indifferently and rolling onto your back. You stretched your arms out beginning to purr when Natasha began to pet your stomach.
“Why would she leave such a big cat, at that?” Yelena’s thick accent sounded as she walked into the room. The blonde plopped down beside her sister and moved your hind legs into her lap.
“I mean not that I’m complaining. She's a much better roommate than most here.” She hummed and ran her fingers through your fur.
Nat looked down at you and chuckled. “Well, whenever Y/N gets back, I hope she doesn’t expect me to give Liho up.”
“Darling, there will be no Liho to give up.” You purr, although she can’t hear you.
“You going to steal her cat?” Yelena tilted her head with a chuckle. “It’s not stealing if I found her.” Nat retorts.
“That’s not—“
“Tony, I cannot believe you!” Bruce’s voice boomed as he came down the hallway. “Oh no.”
“Now, Banner, let’s calm down—“ Tony urged.
“I’m not going to go green, Tony.” Banner growled before looking at the three women in the room. When his eyes landed on you he groaned.
“Damnit, Tony.” He sighed before walking over and picking you up off of Nat and Yelena’s laps. “Hey! Give me my cat back.” Nat said while standing up.
Bruce winced. “Sorry ladies, but it seems our furry friend here also happens to be our not so furry friend.”
“Finally, someone with more than half a brain cell.” You mused and looked up at Bruce who couldn’t help but scratch the top of your head. You were just too damn cute.
Wanda was the first to catch on. “Wait…you don’t mean that’s…”
“Y/N? I’m afraid so. Tony here was messing around with my stuff in the lab while I was away and ended up turning Y/N into a cat.” Tony wouldn’t look at the rest of the group as Bruce explained the situation.
“In my defense, we just wanted to see what you were working on. And you gave me the passcode, you know I’m nosey.” Tony defended. Bruce let out an exasperated sigh at his friend’s antics.
Nat and Yelena looked at the two scientists like they were insane. “What the hell were you working on that could turn someone into a cat?” Bruce sighed at Yelen’s question.
“It was supposed to be a serum that would help us if the other guy got too out of hand. It’s…still in development.” Came his bashful reply. “You can say that again.” The redhead snorted.
Bruce turned on his heels and began to carry you down the hallway. “Anyways,” he said shortly. “Let’s get this fixed.”
—————————
The 6 of you were now gathered in the lab with you sitting on a table at the center of attention. Bruce and Tony were working with the antidote Bruce had been developing alongside the initial serum.
Meanwhile, the ladies decided to question you. “So it’s really been you this whole time.” Yelena asked. You nodded to the best of your ability and gave a small meow as confirmation.
“Steve’s not gonna believe this one.” Nat muttered, a smirk playing on her lips. Wanda then tilted her head. “Wait, so if it was you the whole time why didn’t you signal us?”
“I did.” You have a disgruntled reply and hopped down from the table, landing gracefully on your feet. You hopped up onto Wanda’s lap and began to meow and paw at her.
The young redhead looked at you like you were crazy for a moment before she finally caught on. “You want me to read your mind.”
“Yes!” Your reply was an excited mew. Wan nodded. “Okay, so, what happened?”
“Tony’s a complete idiot is what happened. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to open Bruce’s work but nooooooo. The man doesn’t listen.” To the other’s in the room it just looked like Wanda was having an intense staring contest with a severely oversized cat.
Wanda laughed loudly causing Nat to lean in a bit. “What did she say?” Wanda smirked and looked over at Stark. “She called him an idiot.”
Tony gave you an offended look. “Hey! So I accidentally turned you into a cat; that doesn’t make me an idiot.”
You wished for nothing more than to be able to roll your eyes in this form. Instead you flicked your tail at him and hopped off of Wanda’s lap before jumping onto Nat’s. She was much more comfortable.
Despite knowing that you were her long term friend and coworker, Nat still continued to pet you just as she had over the past couple of days.
“Is it weird being a cat?” Yelena while she gently reached over and scratched her back. You have a soft purr before relaying your response to Wanda.
“She says yes but it has its perks i.e being pet and laying around all day.” Wanda reached over and gently scratched under your chin and honestly, you were eating up all of the attention.
“Alright,” Tony clapped his hands together. “This should turn her back to normal.” He held up a vial of green liquid that honestly looked more suspicious than the purple.
“The only downside is we don’t know how long it’ll take.” Bruce interjected. Natasha stood up and gently set you back on the table. Tony put on some gloves and walked over to you.
“Here goes nothing.” He mumbled.
“This better not burn, Stark.”
He only poured a little bit on you before rubbing it in. You assumed they would save the rest for further experimentation.
Your instincts were screaming at you to lick the liquid off and groom yourself but, you thought it best for your health to ignore those urges.
“And now, we wait,” Tony took off his gloves and threw them into the trash. “Best case, she’s back to normal by morning.”
“And worst case?” Nay asked as she watched you lick your paws clean. Tony shrugged. “We don’t exactly know what worst case is.”
“Lovely.”
——————————
It was late now and you had taken your place in Natasha’s bed. The two of you had become accustomed to cuddling at night. Natasha liked it because you were like her own personal heating pad. You liked it because…well who wouldn’t enjoy cuddling with The Natasha Romanoff.
You had already settled down in your usual spot on the bed while you waited for Nat. It was hard to accommodate you the first few nights with just how big you were but once you had decided that you would just sleep on top of Natasha with your head tucked in the crook of her neck, it all worked out.
Once Natasha laid down, you crawled on top of her and got comfortable. Nat began to gently scratch your head and neck causing you to purr loudly in her ear.
“I still can’t believe you’ve been my cat this whole time.” She whispered. “I mean, then again, nothing should really surprise me anymore.” She was talking more to herself than you but you listened.
Nat craned her neck and looked at you as best she could. “Hopefully you’re back to normal in the morning. Goodnight, Y/N.” She surprised you by placing a kiss on the top of your head.
She didn’t say anything else for the rest of the night and soon the both of you were fast asleep.
——————————
You were the first to wake up. You felt different. You felt like you. Groggily, you raised your hand up and we’re beyond relieved to see that your hand was indeed a hand.
“Oh, thank God.” You whispered in relief. You were finally back in your own body, human again. It felt like something out of a Disney movie.
On top of that you were still wrapped in Natasha’s arms, safe and sound. You looked down at the peaceful woman and smiled. You didn’t want to disturb her peace so you gently tried to get free of her grasp.
A soft groan left her and before you knew it you were on your back pinned between the bed and her tired form. Nat nuzzled into the warmth of your neck.
“Glad to have you back L/N, but I’m not quite awake yet.” She yawned. You laughed softly and wrapped your tired arms around her.
“Fine, just a little longer,” your voice was raspy from sleep and not having used it for the past few days. “But then I’m beating Tony’s ass.”
