Existing in times like this, you tend to forget yourself. Your head can dull out or feel heavy. Sometimes you feel like you know too much or nothing at all. And it doesn’t even have to be referred to at this time. Any where you are, no matter when it can hit you hard. And for me as of now, it’s my practice. 

  Since I can remember, I have always been interested in anything mystical. Dragons, Faeries, Witches and so much more. Hell even vampires and werewolves. I spent so long wanting to be a part of that universe- the world. It was only when I was 16 when I had realized; I am apart of that world. Little Mermaid here I come. I had understood the basics and surroundings of it, thinking how amazing it was to be apart of such a universal thing. So I got to researching on it. Kind of a lazy research, but a research nonetheless. I can’t exactly tell you word for word cause if I’m honest, I get distracted way too easily. But I also tend to obsess over things.

  I had even lost a friend because of it. Telling them about my curiosity and wanting to practice. I had lost them for reasons I still can’t exactly wrap my head around. And it made me want to quit no matter how much I felt at home, in my nature habitat, and to feel whole. Yet it had made me realized I just wanted to push who I am further out there.

  Now this seems like nonsense in writing (probably is). Yet I want to let people to know, it’s okay to lose friends over something you believe in. And tell you that you don’t have to practice every single day to be considered a witch. It’s  the littlest things that count majorly. Even Existing.

Personal Experiences with the Elements

🌿Earth🌿

Exploring the woods around your house. The wave of flower smells as you enter the green house section of Walmart. The Grit of Dirt and Sawdust, the bark of dogwood trees. The Majesty of standing atop a mountain.

🌊Water🌊

Footprints in Wet Sand.  Sunken ships in shallow crystal waters. Quiet Murmurs of a nearby stream. Drinking from the hose. The calm quiet of a candle lit bath.

☁️Air☁️

Blowing up balloons so much my cheeks popped. Wind Whistling through Empty Caverns.  The Hot breath after eating Goulash. The sweet taste blueberry hookah.
