The Sands of Time

Hi! My name is Jaiveer. I'm a photographer based in India. I started drawing at the age of 10 and discovered photography 5 years later. It was at that moment that I was hooked on this art form, which has now become a real passion for me.

The Goan Monsoon
Rainy Days and Window pals...
July brought heavy rains to Goa, keeping me indoors for a week. As the rain poured relentlessly outside, my window became a portal to a vibrant world. Amidst coconut trees, and a well teeming with life, I found unexpected companions - from turtles and fish to cats and crows. This photostory is a testament to the beauty and intensity of the Goan monsoon, a chapter in life where heavy rains kept me indoors but opened my eyes to the wonders just beyond my doorstep.

Snow treks can be incredibly scenic and adventurous.
Amidst the silent embrace of snow-capped peaks, we ventured into the heart of winter's enchantment, discovering the magic of nature and the warmth of camaraderie. Each step etched tales of courage, laughter, and awe, as we trekked through the frozen wonderland, leaving our mark on the canvas of untouched beauty. A journey of a lifetime, forever etched in memories ❄️🏔️

India has its own bull run. Photo story. A small city popularly in Rajasthan known as Nathdwara hosts a victory festival a day after Deepawali every year. Known as the ‘Khekra Festival’ or ‘Govardhan Pooja of Nathdwara,’ this festival comprises a ‘bull run’, akin to ‘Encierro’, the ‘bull run’ festival of Spain. However, in the Indian festival you can see as many cows as bulls. The Indian festival celebrates the triumph of Lord Krishna over Lord Indra when the former saved the villagers from the cruelty of Lord Indra (by lifting the Govardhan Parbat on his little finger). The victory of Lord Krishna is depicted by bulls running on the streets.
