Ready or not, here it comes

So! A TFP and MTMTE crossover. Again, as you you know, I love the shit outta this idea. I have a million ideas and you are totally welcome to expand ( or contradict ) them if you like.

So here’s how this shit went down:

Normal day at Outpost Omega One, but when Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Arcee go through the ground-bridge sent for them, they don’t make it back to base?!?!?! They had the kids with them and oh, shit everyone is panicking, help. Eventually, after everyone has calmed down, Optimums decides he and Ratchet will do through the ground-bridge, leaving Wheeljack, Smokescreen  and Magnus to run interference for the Cons.  an’t afford to leave earth undefended after all, no matter how much he wants to raise hell to get to his family fellow Autobots.

Meanwhile, on the MTMTE side of things it’s….not going well. They appeared right in the middle of an incident with Overlord (not the incident mid you, Rewind is safe and hidden in Chromedomes habsuite, while Skids guards the thing like a German Shepard. Like hell that shit’s happening again.) When they appear, Tailgate is being held up by Overlord as he slowly begins squeezing him to laughing. The Lost Lights dealing with some pirates and no one can get to them in time to save Tailgate. Cyclonus can’t walk but more importantly, he’s about to see his spark get viciously murdered.

Or so they thought. When the TFP bots appear, Arcee sees Tailgate and just…snaps. (pretend tfp looks like mtmte tailgate, even though they have different personalities)   All tfp bots know her partners are a trigger point so yeaaahhh…he’s dead. Arcee starts whaling on Overlord, enraged beyond belief. As much as they want to help Cee, they’re kinda busy defending themselves and the kids from attack. Miko ends up stabbing a nasty bounty hunter that’s roughly human sized with a shard of glass, and shoots him in the hand. Oops?

The battles not going well and cue Ratchet and Optimus coming through and fuck, are they pissed. They barrel through enemies and more lost lighters arrive, giving them the edge they need to win. Arcee killed Overlord with Cyclonus and Whirl’s help, who get over there just in time to save her angry ass and kill the fucker. They’re all making sure he’s alright and there’s a touching moment  when Arcee hugging Tailgate, tears in her eyes. Then comes the interrogation

Optimus is explaining to Roddy what happened, who keeps interrupting to ask a question or add a comment. The Lost Lighters have a surprisingly mellow reaction, and Milo comments that hey, they’ve dealt with dimensional bullshit too. Just as everything is settled and they’re about to leave, the ground bridge loses power. Cue everyone losing their shit and Rung making a very distressed “oh dear” next to Bee, who’s holding Raf and warbling in agreement.

Roddy welcomes them on board and guess who’s there. IDW Optimus, who Prime Optimus very much dislikes. (imma abriavate to PO and IDWO to make life a little easier) PO can’t help but feel he’s abusing his power, which IDWO doesn’t like. When PO learns about the situation with IDW Megs - who he personally likes and gives him hope for his megs- boy, is he pissed. He’d already practically adopted three human children and two younglings, Roddy’s a walk in the frickin park. He confronts IDWO, stating it was not in his authority to decide those sort of things, that Roddy deserved to be treated with respect. Rodimus talks to him later, thanks him and gives him a Rodimus star. PO can’t help but love it and shows it off to Ratchet. 

the humans are celebrities an lapping up the attention. mostly miko, when jack or raf fell stressed about it, they escape to rungs office. rewind wants interviews, and they spend ninety percent of the time in swerves bar. jack is super uncomfortable near cyclonus, but when tailgate asks to touch his hair since it looks so soft, he lets him and eventually falls asleep in his lap, upping the human cuteness from 200 to 250. -raf beat that by upping it to a solid 500 when he snuggled into bees neckcables-. now mechs keep touching him and cyclonus is probably one if the few that don’t so go cyclonus!

Crossover

I read this thing on Tumblr that went into extreme detail of TFP Wheeljack getting dropped into Transformers Animated as a TFP/TFA crossover. Some of it made me laugh, but it also got me thinking. Crossover between G1 and IDW. Mainly between three mechs; Perceptor. Ratchet. Prowl. Why these three? The shock of the differences. Let’s start with Percy. G1 Percy is small, happy, talkative, smart, sciency and a bit of a ball of pureness. Seriously, he’s adorable. IDW Percy is a battle-hardened, stoic, quiet, badass hottie. Also, he’s bigger. G1 Percy would probably fry his processor trying to understand what happened. “You modeled yourself after a former con? What do you mean he inspired you to be a fighter?!” and my personal favorite meltdown; “You turned your back on science?!?” He’d probably have an aneurism. IDW Percy looks impassively at G1 Percy. He’s probably wondering ‘was I really this much like Brainstorm back then?’ and hoping this tiny version of himself doesn’t have a malfunction. G1 Ratty is a partier. He cracks jokes, loves to kick back and is equal parts scientist and medic, though he still has bad bedside manners. IDW Ratty is a grouch through and through. He’s sarcastic, full on medic, and more likely to launch a wrench at your helm with a snarky comment as he fixes you. Basically IDW Ratty is less likely to take your scrap and seeing G1 Ratty being chill is likely to irritate him just because he’s not like that anymore. “Grow up already, will you? Stop all that incessant partying and look after your patients!” G1 Prowl is open, honest, friendly and loveable. IDW Prowl is an ass. He’s been hurt, crossed and backstabbed so many times that he’s learned to close himself off and think logically and ignore any emotional attachment he felt for things. G1 Prowl would probably be sparkbroken to see IDW Prowl. “What happened to make you so cold?” The stories IDW would then proceed to tell their G1 counterparts would break them.

IDW canon: Drift admires and is impressed by Optimus Prime as much as anyone else is Me, someone with braincells, kicking canon to the curb: Anyway Drift resents Optimus because he will always see the cop who made life in the Dead End terrible for everyone living there with his attempts to “clean it up” (as though being arrested is going to help anyone with addiction) and rightfully thinks that the Primacy is a farce and was unsurprised that Orion Pax named himself Prime because of course he would, Pax is the most self-righteous person Drift knows, it’s no surprise he’d give himself a corrupt position of power and then claim he earned it
