New York City Fashion Week this year was truly about unleashing the lady inside of every woman and even the die-hard tomboy at heart, will want to give these coming trends a whirl.  Sure the winter winds are still whipping in many parts of the country but a girl can still dream can’t she after all, what is life without the dreams that make us who we truly are, deep down inside?  So get out your “look books” ladies and have a fling with spring in spite of the fact that it is officially still several weeks away. What do you have to lose besides those wintertime blues that always seem to sneak up on you after all of the presents have been unwrapped and the Christmas decorations has been put away? Embrace the sweet thoughts of the warmer days to come by throwing on something in a springy type bright to shakeup the standard winter time black and gray.  Trust and believe, that taking this style tip, will definitely perk up those less than sunshiny days.

Evangelist Denise Matthews, tragically passed away at the far too early age of 57 last week,.  The one time girlfriend and protege of pop phenomenon Prince, left this world after a long illness.  Matthews will more than likely always be remembered for her one of a kind beauty and talent as the lead singer of Prince’s group Vanity 6, which enjoyed moderate success with several eighties pop hits. Matthews in later years had devoted her life to practicing as a Christian Evangelist and spreading the gospel.  Deepest condolences to the Matthews family, friends and fans who will never forget the enigmatic presence of this complex and multi-talented performer.

Well dear friends, Valentine’s Day is upon us once more and as we prepare to welcome the day of the year that celebrates love in all of its grandeur, let us take time to reflect on the many things that make us grateful for the special people in our lives.  There are so many reasons to be grateful and as we look forward to finding the perfect present for our significant others or choose the ring that will make the one we want to call our own for a lifetime, say yes without question, we cannot forget the reasons why we fell in love in the first place.  In a world that is far from predictable, what better place to turn when we are feeling a little adrift or out of sorts than to the one that makes our heart beat just that much harder?  If you are lucky enough to have found the one who makes your existence that much sweeter, then embrace every single moment you are in that special person’s presence.  If you are single and looking to mingle, then do not lose hope, for love finds the ones that are truly ready to fully embark on the extraordinary journey that love offers.  As anyone in love knows, being in love can be wonderfully exasperating, challenging, thrilling and yes, pretty damn spectacular.  So whether you have already found that someone special or you are truly hoping to become romantically involved in the very near future, immerse yourself in every single second of excitement each phase of coupling offers.  One thing is certain,you will never regret taking a chance on love, for it truly does make our lives that much sweeter.  Have a lovely Valentine’s Day everyone!
