Final Post
hey guys
I know I’ve been taking hiatuses on and off lately, and I feel like I can’t keep up with an imagines/scenario blog anymore. I want to focus mainly on my own original content for my fandoms. Have a little bit more creative freedom.
Right now, my attention is going to my new Obey Me! blog @luciferscockslut (please follow if you are interested). If not, you’ll see me post on Ao3 under the username emilystaysgold.
I’m sorry to everyone who was hoping for a comeback for my writing. Especially all of the requests I have gotten. To those people who left requests, I deeply apologize.
Maybe I’ll post any original content for My Hero, but not at the moment. I’ll keep the blog up so you can read my writing (and hope you see the improvement even though most of this wasn’t beta read.)
Thank you for the years on this blog and staying with me even through hard times and my own mental health struggles.
Thank you
and I love you

I hope this is what you wanted :’) I know it’s short but this is what I head canon
Bakugo: He would be pissed of course. He actually would make sure you’re ok and safe before he would let loose on this Nomu. He wouldn’t care if it was a hard battle, just as long as he was able to beat the shit out of it and start to care for you. The LOV better watch out, because if he ever see any of them, it would be explode first and ask questions later. You would have to reassure him you were ok, otherwise he’d try to take his anger on other things and wouldn’t stop looking for the LOV right then and there.
Todoroki: Would immediately freeze the Nomu before it got anywhere close to you. He would do this multiple times if needed to make sure you got somewhere safe before he could actually defeat them. Boy wouldn’t hold back. Flames and Ice would surround the area (as long as civilians were evacuated first). He would be the first one to join plans to make sure that the LOV is brought to justice
Midoriya: I head canon him losing his shit. You get injured by the Nomu and it would be overkill for it. You would have to stop him after the Nomu was long dead and reassure the poor boy that you were ok. He wouldn’t let go of you for hours, wanting to make sure you were all there. You would go to the hospital and luckily the injuries wouldn’t be too serious. Midoriya would devise his own plan on how the LOV would pay for what they have done. He would figure out why they were targeting you in the first place.

I feel like this is a little drawn out, but I made it still sad. I hope you enjoy @pears-pears. If you want to read part one, click here
“To conclude our evening, Pro-Hero Shoto still hasn’t returned to doing hero work after the death of his wife. It has been over a month since her tragic accident. People speculate this was because Shoto-“
Todoroki turned off the TV then. He couldn’t handle the media speculation on his life. It was too much on him. They didn’t understand. They didn’t know how much this was his fault.
Six weeks. You’ve been dead. You would have been showing your small pregnant belly off, gushing to everyone about being a mother. Uraraka and Momo would have been buying everything for you. Baby clothes, bottles, diapers (even though you wouldn’t need any of this stuff until later)
You would have been picking names. He wondered if it was going to be a boy or a girl.
Everyone in his family showed support for him, even his dad whom he had a complicated relationship with. He actually took his advice and tried to learn how to cope from him. His mother was a source of strength for him. Her gentle voice was able to calm him down from the panic attacks. Though it had to be over the phone, he couldn’t stand being in a hospital anymore. He should apologize to his mother for not seeing her face to face.
He got up from the couch and looked in the fridge for something to eat. There wasn’t much and what was there was rotting away. He hadn’t really eaten the last couple of days. Todoroki’s sure he lost weight. He’d have to order take out again.
When looking through all the delivery menus, he stopped on the one for your favorite restaurant. It was an Italian place where you claimed the Tarako spaghetti was the best thing there. He opted to order something else instead.
After dinner, he would have to go to bed, where he didn’t sleep. When he did sleep, you graced his presence holding him and telling you everything about your unborn baby. Maybe it was some god out there taking pity on him and showing you to him one last time.
He did have to pass the hallway that contained all of the photos of the two of you. He turned all of them over except one. The wedding photo.
You looked so beautiful in the kimono you were wearing. He thought something color would suit you best, but you opted for the shiromuku. Pure like snow. Untouched. If only you could have stayed that way.
The rest of the process was routine. He didn’t skip showers and bath. He knew you would have scolded him if he did, especially if he came back from a hero mission and it was late. After drying off his hair, he would go into the room to get dressed for bed.
Seeing all of your clothes still there made him realize how much he didn’t want to let you go. Todoroki knew you were gone, but he didn’t want to admit it.
He crawled into bed. He cried. And he hoped that he would see you in his dreams.

ack I’m so bad writing for Shinso ;’( I’m sure if I read the manga I would get a more of a feel of his character. So this might be OOC. It was also hard to write cause he doesn’t have a hero name canonically (correct me if I’m wrong) Over all not my best work. Sorry nonnie </3
You both were on a wonderful stroll. Watching the starlight and the planes passing by above you. It was a favorite past time for the both of you.
“Hitoshi, I love you. You always pick the best spots to hang out.” You were excited for anything that he did, but you preferred the simple dates, “It’s so beautiful out.”
“I’m glad you think so (y/n).” You leaned your head down on his should, soaking in this peaceful moment.
An anxious thought did cross through Shinso’s mind. One that needed to be addressed, “Hey (y/n), you know I’ll never hurt you, right?”
“I know that! You never have to tell me that.”
There was a sudden commotion on the other side of the park. Being trainee heroes, you both decided to check it out. Upon further inspection, it was a swarm of police offers surrounding a man who had a woman captive.
“Drop your weapons, or I’ll shoot her!”
“Please, don’t hurt me,” she was pleading, scared for her life. She was frozen there, just like an ice statue. You both didn’t know if he had a quirk or if he was quirkless. All that was known is he had a hostage.
You both pushed past the police officers explaining you were heroes. They let you by, hoping you could help resolve the situation.
“Drop the gun!” You shout, words coming out shaky. He grunts.
“You’re not that menacing little girl, I could shoot you right here and now.”
You and Shinso looked at each other and nodded. You were planning on egging him on by using the word shoot, then Shinso can use his quirk to stop him.
“Look, I don’t know you, but do you really want that on your conscious with other heroes coming to back us up?” Your hands were shaking.
“Stop or I’ll shoot!” You raised your hands up.
“I’m unarmed, but I dare you to shoot me.”
Shinso used his quirk to early, causing you to be brain washed. He realized mistake and felt his heart drop to the floor. He tried to release it, but he wasn’t fast enough. The man shot you in the shoulder, causing you to fall and cry out in pain.
“Crazy ass bitch. Of course, I’d shoot.” The criminal said, that’s when he became still and unable to move.
“Drop your weapon,” Shinso commanded, to which the man did. The police quickly came into rescue the woman in custody, but Shinso didn’t care. You were hurt by his mistake in the plan.
“(y/n)!” He dropped down to be next to you.
“Shinso, I’m all right. I just have to go to the hospital,” you winced as you spoke, “It’s not that big a deal.”
“But I hurt you,” Shinso pulled you up to lay your head in his lap. You sucked your teeth as blood was leaving your body.
“You didn’t hurt me the bad guy did. Don’t blame yourself for this. All that matters is we saved that woman.”
You ended up taken away by ambulance. When he got to the hospital, the doctor said you needed surgery to get the bullet out, but you would have a good outcome.
Shinso tried to be happy. But ultimately, he was.the reason you were hurt in the first place. He felt cold and started shaking. This was the first time he cried in a while.

@bbslayed thank u for your request! I hope I didn’t make it too sad for you <3 love u. I got carried away oop made it 2K words
A little pink plus. That’s what the pregnancy test came back as. You put your hand over your mouth. You couldn’t believe it. Try after try, you never got it. But now, you do. Wanting to surprise your husband, you decided to wrap it up in a box.
You would make sure to grab your camera to take a picture of his shocked face. When he came back from his hero work, that’s when you would celebrate.
He missed dinner. You expected it. Typically, Todoroki would be on patrol for hours, never taking a break for himself. Or for you.
You checked your phone to see if he called or texted or something. Sadly, nothing. Glancing at the box, you put it up getting yourself excited to show it to him when he finally came home.
He didn’t come back. Not at least while you were awake. When you went to bed, you felt the mattress sink down on the other side and a small kiss on your forehead. It was Todoroki. You were too tired to get up and tell him now. You went back to sleep.
The next morning, you expect Todoroki to pull you in his arms like he normally does. He wasn’t there. You groan. He left early for patrol work.
You figured he would come home later in the day. A better time to tell him. Maybe you should make a surprise dinner. Maybe a cake also saying it. You went to the store to get all of the ingredients.
You spent all day making the cake. When you frosted it, you wrote a little surprise on it, because this child was going to surprise him.
He still hadn’t come home. You checked the time and see it was the afternoon. No big deal. You cleaned up the small apartment, thinking you’ll need a bigger one soon. The baby room was going to be yellow. That’s what you wanted.
After making dinner, you checked the time. It was becoming late, and you still had no word from him. You were frustrated. The food was getting cold, and you just sat there staring at it becoming colder. He wasn’t coming.
You did the normal routine of packing up the food to have for later. You put the cake in a box to put in the fridge. You’ll just have to celebrate later.
Same routine. Todoroki comes home late at night, and he’ll leave early in the morning. You were becoming angry now.
The same routine as usual. You buy food, you clean the apartment, and you make dinner for the two of you. This time, you texted him
Are you going to be home?
Satisfied so far, he probably come home after your text message. Remind him that he did have a wife and a home to come to. And soon, a kid.
A ding came from your phone, and you felt like a teenage girl texting her boyfriend. You quickly grabbed it and read the response.
Sorry, I’m going to be late
Sorry over text message is all you got. You had to remind yourself that he is doing hero work. This was his big break, and he needs to put in the hours to become successful.
You gave a simple response.
Ok
You packed all the food up and went to go put them in the fridge. The cake as sitting there on the top shelf, calming you down. It will come soon enough and then he’ll get time off work to celebrate.
Same routine, once more.
And over, and over.
You felt like you’ve lost your husband.
“Are you feeling ok Shoto?”
“I’m ok.” He sounded blunt. He was finding gear that was rarely used for this mission.
“Are you going to be at home for dinner?” He looked at you and gave his usual honest answer.
“I don’t think so.”
You took a sharp and deep breath, trying to calm yourself as he left. He was your husband. He’ll have time off soon and that’s when you will tell him.
After you came back from the grocery store, you walked in to see a very tired Todoroki.
“Shoto! You’re back.”
“Not for long, I thought I should see you.”
“Of course,” you sat next to him and started to play with his red and white hair. He looked beautiful with it and his eyes matched too.
“Works been hard I’m sure.”
“Yeah.” Todoroki isn’t much for words, but he was never this bad.
“I’m sure you’ll get the break you need as well as the position.”
“Thank you.”
The conversation ended there before his pager beeped. He kiss you goodbye and walked away. You finally had him. Tears started to wheal up in your eyes, but you took a deep breath. You were over acting you said. He’ll come home soon
Soon turned into days turned into weeks. You were practically almost about showing. You wanted to surprise him the way you planned when you found out immediately.  You still had faith in your husband.
After leaning on the couch, he came in looking pretty rough, “Oh my god, Shoto are you ok?”
“Yeah (y/n), I’m ok” is all he said. You started to treat his wounds, maybe now would be the perfect opportunity to give him the pregnancy test.
“Hey Shoto-“
“I’m going to go back to work. I should be back before midnight.”
You glared at him, not going to him leave.
“Shoto, you’ve been working so much. I feel like you don’t care anymore.”
“I do care. I’m just busy.”
“I know, but do you ever consider asking to take the day off or getting off early. I know you’re a hard-working individual and one of the strongest heroes alive. I just want to see my husband.”
“I know but-“ the pager starts beeping louder. He groans and puts it on silent, “Can we talk about this later?” You couldn’t say no. You had to do it his way. You had no choice in the matter. They were taking your choices away.
You bite your lip as you walked to the fridge and threw the cake into the garbage. It was going stale and needed to be cleaned from the kitchen. You stare at the pieces in the trash can and started to feel negative feelings again.
You wish you could drink a bottle of wine.
This routine continued day after day again. You were tired of it.
“Shoto!” You shouted when he finally got free time at home, “We need to have a talk.”
“I figured you would.
“Don’t get that way with me. I want you to put more effort in this relationship!”
“I do put effort-“ You let out a gasp of anger, not believing a word that is coming out from his mouth.
“No, you haven’t! You’re never home. You don’t text or call to let me know if you’re ok or if you’re coming home.” The tears started to fall down your cheeks. It took all the strength you had to have this conversation.
“I’m sorry (y/n). I’ve been busy with-“
“Hero work.” You completed his sentence and rolled your eyes, “Can’t you see that I’m neglected! I’m your wife you should spend time with me.”
“I do spend time with you. I have to work to help substation us. I don’t see you doing that.”
You saw red, “I can’t believe you said that! You asked me to stay home and cook the meals in this household. And I’ve done just that, and you’re never home for any of it. I’m sick of it you know.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what you want me to say or do. I still have to do hero work” You realized this, and you couldn’t get in between him and his dream.
“I know you do. I just ask that you let me know that you’ll be out late.”
“I don’t think I can.”
Your fist clenched. More tears started to fall down your face. He didn’t comfort you, and you wanted to scream at him about it. You knew that wouldn’t solve anything.
His pager beeped, letting him know that he was needed. Todoroki didn’t say anything. He gave you a peck on the check and left.
Once more, you were alone.
With the same routine as always, you’d cook dinner, pack it back up, and clean up the apartment. You would spice it up and watch a movie instead of the news. You became tired, and you wanted to see him get home. You still wanted to discuss the issue at hand.
You did exactly that when he came back, “You’re back. Are you back for good tonight.?”
“I’m on call but for now I am free.” Todoroki sat down stretching, you could hear every bone pop. He must have had a hard day.
“I know we talk about your schedule, but when do you have free time?” You hoped it would be some time soon. You were still excited to give him his gift.
“I don’t think so. I’m booked on patrolling for the rest of the week.” This did it for you.
“Why can’t you be with your wife? You know the one who wanted to be with you for the rest of your life? I was hoping it was the same way.”
Todoroki looked caught off guard. He quickly tried to fix the situation, but he couldn’t come up with a response.
“Unbelievable. You’re really choosing work over me?” You gripped on whatever object that was nearby, “you know I had big news for you, but I’m not going to tell you unless you take me on a date. I was to spend time with my husband. Not the hero that everyone relies on.”
Todoroki looked as if he was going to say something, but his pager rang. Your heart stopped; words caught in your throat.
“We’ll discuss this later.” He then walked out the door to go to work.
“Liar.”
He actually did come home early, which surprised you. Todoroki walked through the door to see you on the couch reading a book.
“Ok, (y/n) what’s wrong?”
You closed your book to put on the coffee table, “You’re always gone. I never see you anymore. I miss the cuddles; I miss making you dinner. Ever since you became a pro-hero, you’re gone all the time. I just want and need you to be here.” You felt tears start to fall down your face. He quickly came over to wipe them off of your face.
“I know. I’m sorry. I need to take more time off. I-“ His pager rang again. You pushed him off of you.
“I’m tired of this! Can’t you let another hero do it?”
“You know I can’t do that.” Todoroki looked at it to see where the location is, “I promise I’ll get tomorrow evening off. We can have dinner then. I promise.”
You had to take him on his word. You gave him a kiss, and he was gone again. After thinking a bit, did you even want him with you? Would he even be a good father?
He was gone early the next morning. No surprise.
You went to make yourself breakfast. When you were cooking some eggs, you heard your phone ding. It was a text message from your husband.
I got the night off. We can be together
A smile grew on your face. You could tell him tonight. The box now sat on the counter, ready for him to open.
A dinner needed new groceries. You got dressed and went to the supermarket, humming to yourself. Getting what you needed.
You left, needing to cross the street to get to the bus stop.
“LOOK OUT!”
The next thing you saw was a car. Heading right towards you.
Crash
--
Todoroki was the first one to the hospital after he heard what happened. When he saw you in the ICU, you had bandages all over your face and body. The doctor looked at him, sadness on his face.
“Thank you for visiting Mr. Todoroki. Your wife is stable right now, but she’s in a critical state. I don’t think her, or your baby will make it.”
What? Todoroki paused, processing what he said.
“A baby?”
“You didn’t know. She’s almost 10 weeks pregnant. With the lack of oxygen she had, the baby is probably not going to make it, even if your wife does. I’m sorry.”
Then the doctor left. Todoroki felt numb, not knowing what to say or do. He became quiet.
Todoroki entered the room to hold your hand. You didn’t squeeze his hand back. You just laid there.
He stayed there as long as he could, but he had to go to bed. Todoroki trusted the doctors to take care of you until he can be with you again tomorrow.
When he got back to the apartment, he walked in to see a tiny box that sat on the counter. He dreaded opening it; but when he did, he saw a pregnancy test with a tiny pink plus on it. Under it was a note.
You’ll be a wonderful dad <3
He gripped the test, feeling a crack come from the plastic. If only he had been with you. Maybe you would have gone out to lunch together or go to your favorite bookstore. He was stuck with what ifs.
Suddenly he heard the phone ring. Walking over he felt his heart race, he normally didn’t show emotion, but his face was full of worry. Scared at what was to come.
“Hello Mr. Todoroki, it’s Musutafu General Hospital, Dr. Takai. I’m sorry to say…”
Don’t say those words.
“Your wife has passed away.”

Can you write some Kirishima and Shinso angst?
Well hi, yes I am! Thank you so much for the invite ☺️ !
cw: swearing, angst, mentions of shinsou having sex but its not explicitly said
Tumblr media
shinsou hitoshi was an ass. hitoshi was a stupid, lying, scummy, cheating, disgusting a- "Y/n?"
oh so now he calls you huh? three missed calls, a worried trek to his dorm room, and the real life picture of shinsou between another girls legs, and now he decides to answer you. you've always wondered what you would do if you caught your boyfriend cheating. would you scream and cry and smash everything around you? would you slap him, kick him where you know it'll hurt the most and then run out? would you sneer at the girl and then spit foul words at them both?
no, hitoshi scrambles out from the grip of her shaking knees and grabs the blanket- your blanket to tie around his waist as if you've never seen him before, leaving the stranger in your bed cowering behind a pillow. no, you hold a hand up as he stumbles towards you, smelling of sweat and musk and home and shake your head once. twice. you open your mouth before closing it again, nodding as you look around the room for...what? another person to pop out? you don't know, so you just shake your head, lips pressed together as you silently back out the room. you hate hate hate that shinsou knows you well enough to not speak, or even breathe because it would set you off.
"30 minutes. get out of my house shinsou-san." and you walk out, not looking back once as the home you once had in shinsou, burnt down.
Tumblr media
kirishima is the sweetest, most supportive boy ever. he had never yelled at you before, but there were times when even he, the brightest star, had crumbled. it was a day where he'd been feeling down, the little voice in his mind telling him he wasn’t going to be a hero, ever. everything he was doing was to no avail, he was useless, stupid, boring, nothing. kirishima had always been proud of the communication he had with you, and he never meant for it to build up to the point where he would lash out at you, but it did. it built up and suddenly spilt over the top and came crashing down and suddenly he was yelling at you when you came to bring him his favourite drink and screaming and lashing out at you. you, his gorgeous partner, you who’s smile made his heart clench and chest seize. you, who he’d just called a useless, annoying idiot. why didn’t you just leave, why do you stay and pity him? why do you always look at him with a sad look in your eyes? what the fuck is wrong with you, why are you putting up with this shit? kirishima can’t stop the flurry of words escaping his mouth, each sentence a slap across your face.
his sight is blurry and shaking and his chest is heaving, and he freezes when he realises that the spot you were standing in, is suddenly empty, and you were nowhere to be seen. deep down, below all that anger he's so glad you're gone, lest he hurt you even more, as he falls to the floor and sobs into his hands. you'll come back, you know you will, but kirishima needed his space, and you needed to escape the screams spat at your face from someone you knew wasn't your boyfriend.

I’m thinking of an angst fic for this later, if you guys want to read that <3 I want to be mean to Tamaki for no reason haha but for now, you get some fluff <3
You were always one to be brave. Needed to catch a bug, people could call you. When walking in a haunted house, you were the one that everyone hid behind. You didn’t think of yourself as that heroic, but you did want to help people out, hence why you were at UA.
When you were walking to lunch, you saw a very shy man being surrounded by girls, all of them asking for an autograph or a kiss. You didn’t think anything else about it, and you walked away to go to the cafeteria.
The next day, you were walking to the cafeteria, and you saw the girls flock at him again. He seemed familiar. You think you’ve seen him a few times before. You figured he could handle himself. He seemed fine from yesterday. Once again, you walk away to go to lunch.
This went on for about a week and each day it got worse. More and more girls would join in on swarming this poor man. When you locked eyes with him this time, he looked like a helpless puppy of a fish out of water. He was shaking, obviously overwhelmed. Your body moved on auto-piolet.
You pushed through all of the girls and grabbed him by the arm, wraping it around it, “Sorry girls, this one is mine.”
You stuck your tongue out. You heard of chorus of angry comments and whines. You didn’t care. You pulled him away behind the corner.
“Oh my god, they really are vicious,” you said, letting go of his arm. When you got a closer look at his face, you realized it was Tamaki Amajiki from your class. You didn’t normally see him with anyone besides Mirio and Nejire, but he faded into the background even with them.
He didn’t say anything. Tamaki was just keeping to himself making you sigh, “ You really are hopeless aren’t you.”
You laugh at that last part, “I’m (y/n). It’s nice to meet you.”
He looked up at your smiling face, “i-its nice to meet you too.” He was fumbling over his words. You became concerned. He obviously needed help, and you figured that those girls would come back, swarming him again.
“I got it!” You shout out, excitement in your voice. You pointed your finger at him, “I’m going to be your bodyguard. No ifs, ands, or buts about it!”
Tamaki looked shocked and unable to form any words. You grabbed his hand and helped him back to class where he could eat lunch in peace.
“Is this ok? I can help you get to somewhere else if you’d like.” He was shocked at how considerate you were being of him right now.
“No, this is fine,” he mumbled quietly. You hummed in satisfaction and sat down next to him.
“You’ll be fine as long as I’m around.” He saw you just like he did Mirio. A sun that shines super bright at anyone you meet.
He didn’t know why you decided to help, but he was glad that you did.

I think all content creators can relate to this.
In my opinion, I don’t think followers really understand how much your requests/likes/reblogs/etc. and random asks mean to me. It’s just so refreshing and nice to know that people enjoy what I’m doing and support me.
People that go the extra mile and send an ask or message letting me know they liked my stuff honestly makes my day. I love reading tags and stuff…it’s honestly so cute….
And people who ask about how I’m doing or send me random questions or cute asks….I just want you guys to know it honestly makes my day. I just love all the interaction and such. It makes running a blog so much more enjoyable.
And Fanart/Fanwork? Honestly that’s one of the greatest things to receive. To everyone that draws or writes, please don’t feel too insecure to send it end! No one is going to criticize you over quality. It’s so sweet that you even thought about making something…I will always appreciate it no matter what, and I’m sure all other content creators feel the same.
So, in conclusion, don’t be afraid to talk to your favorite blogs and show them some love, guys! We always appreciate it! ☺️

I loved your Youngblood story can you do one with the song ghost of you????
Maybe. I haven’t heard the song before, and I get weird inspirations from songs occasionally. Also, they kind of take a while to write.
But I’ll take a listen ;) I’m sure I’ll be able to get some inspiration to write another fic

Youngblood
Summery: You and Bakugo had just broken up, and you are in pain because of it. Your friends try to make you feel better, but the memories of your relationship haunt you. You didn't know what to do
Notes:Hey guys! I wrote this on the side of my other works. I was listening to Youngblood by 5SOS and was heavily inspired to write this fic. You should listen to it while reading. Or before. Or after. It might be a little f!reader, but I tried to keep in GN
Pairing: Bakugo/Reader
Warnings: Swearing, Drinking, Unhealthy Relationship
You don’t remember how many days it’s been since you and Bakugo broke up. Your heart still hurts every time you look at the photos you’ve taken. The clothes he left at your apartment still smell like him.
The words that were said still stung. You tried not to think about it.
After mopping in your bed, you got up to see one of your favorite photos on your dresser. You went to the beach with Bakugo.
“Katsuki! Quit moving. If I don’t apply it all, you’re going to get sunburnt!”
“Yeah, yeah I know.” He was grumpy. Bakugo didn’t really care for the beach, but he saw how excited you were for the trip, “You sure you want to hang out here?”
“Of course! We can collect seashells, and we can play in the water,” you finish rubbing the sunscreen on his skin. The shade protected you until you ventured out to begin your vacation. Even though he didn’t want to be here, he followed you pretty quickly.
You walked across the shoreline picking up every pretty shell that you saw. You remembered a crab being under one of those shells, and you freaked out, running to Bakugo for protection. He got a smirk on his face, picked up the crab, and began to chase you with it.
“Katsuki, stop it!” You laughed through your panting breath. You knew he wouldn’t really let the crab hurt you, but this is just how he was. One minute he’d be grumpy and unenthusiastic about anything; but with you, it was different. Bakugo was sweet and playful.
He dropped the crab and sprinted. He was faster than you, so he caught up. You were swept off your feet, being held in his arms. You were surprised thus you let out a shriek. It quickly became laughter though.
“That’s not funny, Katsuki,” You hit him on his chest, but he just shook his head.
“Your too cute in your bathing suit for me not to pick you up and cuddle.” You blushed. Though you didn’t know he walked into the ocean until the warm water hit your legs.
By the time you realized, he threw you in.
“Katsuki!” You were playfully mad, and you started to splash water at him.
“This is childish.”
“You’re the one who started it.”
The rest of the day was filled with the same kind of fun and excitement. You ate at so many good restaurants and went to the carnival. He got you a bear to which you said it looked like him. A big ol grumpy bear.
You still had it.
You place the photo back on the dresser, trying to suppress the memory of being with him.
You heard your phone ding, and you saw that it was from Mina.
You still doing ok?
It sucked that she was still in Bakugo’s friend group. So was all of your friends. Even though they would still be friends with him, you didn’t want to lose them.
Yeah, I think so
Well, you want to go out tonight?
Will Bakugo be there?
Of course not! It’ll be just us and everyone else. We just want to cheer you up.
That sounded like fun. It might help you take your mind off of Bakugo. Sending a text back to Mina, you threw your phone on the bed. After a couple of days, you finally took your first shower.
After finally trying to get the depression off of you, you put fresh clothes on yourself. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you saw your eyes were still red and puffy. There wasn’t anything you could do about it, and you fought back tears already. Bakugo would be here to tell you how sexy you looked. It didn’t matter what you wore. He would tell it to you every time.
Rubbing your eyes, you went into the kitchen and finally ate your first healthy meal in a while, reliving your stomach from digesting terrible food.
For once, you started to feel better.
--
You met up with Mina in front of the bar. She waved you down. Walking over to her, you gave her a big hug. It felt like an eternity, but it had only been a few days. You gave small talk, mainly telling her you were alright. It was a half-truth and a half-lie.
Walking in, you saw familiar faces that made you smile: Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero.
“Hey guys! It’s been a while.”
“Yeah, I know. Long time no see,” Kirishima gave you a comforting hug. Kaminari and Sero gave you a pat on the back. You and Mina sat next to them on their left. You looked over at Kaminari, and he looked panicked, like he was scared the world was about to end.
“Hey Kaminari, you’ve missed me that much? Why do you look like I’m about to bite you?”
“Because you are.” A familiar voice that made your heart drop to your stomach. It was Bakugo that came back from what you presumed the bathroom, “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Kaminari!” Mina shouted also panicked.
“I thought we were meeting up with (y/n) on another night!”
“No, it’s fine. Me and Bakugo can be civil about this.”
“Yeah, fucking right, you’ll just break down and cry. Just like you did at everything else.”
You bite your lip, trying to hold back venomous words. His face made you sick, and you felt like you were about to vomit.
“We can go to another bar!” Mina said trying to save it.
“No, I want to hang out with my friends. It’ll be his fault if we have a bad night.”
“Whatever bitch.” It stung. The Bakugo you knew would never call you that. You guessed people do change.
You both sat back at the bar. It became awkward; no one said anything. The bar tender asked what you wanted.
“A dirty shirley, please.”
“I see you still drink that shitty drink.”
“Why don’t you shut up for once?”
“Guys!” Kirishima interjected this time, “Hey, have you seen that new superhero movie? All Might is such a great character.”
That seemed to steer the conversation away from an argument. You turned to Mina, and the group became segregated. You only talked to her for most of the night, but you could still hear Bakugo’s voice. You missed it so much.
--
“Thank you for bringing me out tonight Mina; I had a good time.” A lie. You wanted to go back to your apartment and just break down in bed again. Going out was a mistake.
“Yeah,” Mina didn’t sound convinced, “hey, why don’t we go shopping tomorrow? Get away from these boys.” She said the last line jokingly, but a part of you didn’t want to leave the boys tonight.
“Sure.”
“Yay, girls day!” Kaminari jokingly said, pretending as if he was going with you.
“Why would you want to go with her?” Bakugo finally pushed you over the edge.
“Why don’t you get your head out of your ass and act normally?”
“I am acting normally. You’re the one who’s too sensitive. Always upset about something.”
“You’re insulting me! You think I’ll take that lying down.”
“You take a lot of stuff lying down.” You saw red when he saw that. You walked over and slapped him across the face.
“Shut the fuck up Bakugo!” He looked at you. You could tell he was more upset about you calling him by his last name. You quickly walked out of the bar with Mina following you. There was someone else following you.
“Why the fuck are you still here?” It was Bakugo, following you into the street, “Why do you have to hang out with my friends? Oh wait, you’re too much of a bitch to make more friends.”
“I don’t know why they’re still friends with you. You’re nothing but a big dick who doesn’t have a single ounce of empathy.”
You turned around to walk away from the bar, wanting to anywhere but there. The tears were already falling down your cheek. Your voice was starting to crack and waver.
“I don’t even know why you’re still here if I hurt you that much.” You stopped at that line and turned around to face Bakugo. His face was softer, “Tell me to fuck off. You want me out of your life”
You couldn’t. You wanted him to be here with you.
“Or tell me you want me back in your life.” You started to breath heavy, unable to get any words out. You didn’t know how to answer.
“Figures,” Bakugo walked away at your lack of response. You crumbled to the ground, squatting down with your head in your hands. Mina was quick to comfort you; the sound of her high heels brought you out of your anxiety attack.
“Come on, let’s get you home,” She said helping you to stand up. She called a taxi and both of you got in.
The tears finally stopped. You were able to see the passing streetlights on the way back to your apartment.
Mina walked up with you and helped you get ready for bed. She tried to find a t-shirt that wasn’t Bakugo’s, but she was having a hard time. Finally, she settled on this shirt you got from high school. It was a little tighter than it used to be, but it was the only thing you could wear.
“Give me a call if anything happens. I’m only a phone call away. I’ll come get you in the morning so we can go to the mall.” Mina leaned down to give you a kiss on the forehead. It was comforting. Bakugo used to do it to you.
She left. For now, she had Bakugo’s spare key to make sure she could check on you.
You rolled around your bed, before you checked your phone. It was apologies from the rest of the group. They thought you would hang out with them another night and should’ve remined Mina. You responded to each of them so they wouldn’t worry about you.
You scrolled down social media and got a dumb idea. You scrolled down Bakugo’s, trying to find something to give you closure. It didn’t. You saw he didn’t even change his relationship status. You knew he didn’t use it much, but it still surprised you that he hasn’t put it to single.
You fell asleep, only to wake up to your phone ring. You must’ve fallen asleep with it in your hands.
It was Bakugo’s number. You’re heart became elated that he called you.
“What do you want?” You said, cursing yourself for sounding a bit to mean.
There was some silence. You could hear people in what sounded like a bar. Bakugo must not have left. You checked the time, seeing that a couple of hours have passed.
“Hello? What do you want?” You asked again, hoping to get a response this time.
“Nothing.” The word was slurred, then the line disconnected.
Your heart deflated. You couldn’t even cry more than you already had that night.
--
You arrived at the mall. Mina tried her hardest to make you happier. She would take you to a store that sold bath bombs, and you bought some that smelt nice. Ones that didn’t remind you of Bakugo.
Eventually, you ended up at one of Mina’s favorite department stores. It was a nice one, where someone was actually playing a piano in the store. Mina picked out some clothes out and dragged you to the dressing room where she promptly went in to try some of the dresses.
“Isn’t this cute?” Mina said coming out of the dressing room with a sundress on. You nodded in agreement. She tried to give you clothes for you to try on, but her efforts were futile.
She noticed that you still weren’t happy. Going back to take the clothes off, she came back out to clasp your hands in hers, “Why don’t we get some ice cream? We can get wine on the way back to your apartment?”
You nodded your head. You felt bad for staying quiet the entire trip to the mall.
You both walked to the food court and wait in line to get some ice cream. Mina was talking to you (or you should say at you).
In a moment, your heart stopped. You saw Bakugo, and you could say what you wanted to say to him. When you turned around, it wasn’t him.
“What’s wrong?”
You shook your head at a worried Mina, “It’s nothing.”
It wasn’t nothing. You kept seeing him in the strangers around you, causing you to feel like you’ve gone crazy.
You both decided to grab the ice cream to go and grab wine in the convenience store by the mall.
You tried to make small talk, but your words felt superficial.
They felt empty once more.
When you got back to the apartment, you both decided to order a pizza, watch shitty chick flicks, and cuddle under a fuzzy blanket. It was comforting.
So was the wine. Mina got a big bottle of it, and you kept drinking glass after glass.
“Hey, shouldn’t you slow down?” Mina’s voice was full of concern. You shrugged your shoulders in response.
“Maybe I should, but it’s nice,” you said. It finally gave you a nice, fuzzy feeling in your core. It was something other than pain.
Eventually it got too much, the pain came back full force, and you became a crying mess. You fell down into Mina’s lap wailing.
“Why doesn’t he want me anymore? Why does he hate me now?” You screamed. Mina just petted your hair, trying to give some comfort, “I want him so bad.”
“I know baby,” she said; her voice was full of concern, “No more wine for you. I should put you to bed.”
And that’s what she did. Once more, she put you to bed, but this time she stayed with you. It wasn’t unusual for her to stay over and sleep in your bed. The place where Bakugo used to sleep.
Your eyes that were sore started to close. You felt yourself sleep but not dream.
When you woke up, it was still dark. You felt more oriented and aware. The alcohol must have worn off. Your phone read it was around 2AM. You didn’t want to disturb Mina, so you left the bedroom.
When you saw the bottle, you were surprised how much you drank and how you weren’t sick right now.
You sat down on the couch, covering yourself with the fuzzy blanket that was left there.
You took your phone to scroll down your social media feed. There were so many pictures of your friends who were in happy relationships, but you kept seeing Bakugo’s face. No matter what photo, he was there.
The pain kept coming back to stab your heart. You felt like you were bleeding out. You then remembered that Bakugo called you yesterday.
Mina would be so upset, but you clicked his name to dial him back. You kept hearing rings and then voice mails. You kept calling, over and over.
Finally, you got an answer.
“Yes?” He was fully awake and didn’t sound concern.
“I miss you.” Was all you said, then he hung up on you. You expected as much.
--
“Well, I gotta go to work,” Mina said holding your hands. You both were standing in the archway of the entrance to your apartment, “Will you be ok?”
“Yeah, I will be.” Another lie. Even though she didn’t look convinced, she left. You closed the door and fell on the couch, burying your head in one of the cushions. Instead of good memories like the other day, you remembered the fight that started this all.
Bakugo tried to love on you. He was kissing your neck. You enjoyed it, but you didn’t want it to go where he wanted it to go.
“Hey Katsuki,” you started. He gave a hum in response, letting you know he was listening, “Can we do this another night?”
He got off you and rolled his eyes, sitting up. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s nothing.” His voice sounded annoyed. You furrow your brows, getting frustrated yourself.
“It’s obviously not nothing. What’s wrong?” Your voice was stern. Sitting up on the couch, you looked at him with intent. He stayed silent, “Goddamn it Katsuki, out with it.”
“’Out with it’” he mocked you, “Why do you always need to know why I’m frustrated? You should be able to figure it out yourself.”
“Well sorry I want clarity. Is this over sex?”
“Fuck no. I just hate you never thinking about me. You always pry at me when you need something. You need me for this. You need me for that.” He motioned his hands to match his words, “Do you ever ask what I want?”
You didn’t realize that you hadn’t. “That doesn’t mean I don’t care Katsuki.”
“I know you care, but my god isn’t it fucking annoying,” he got up off the couch to storm off. You followed him.
“Where are you going?”
“Isn’t obvious, I’m in the bedroom.” You felt more warmth building in your body, feeling it warmest and tightest in your core.
“I know that, but why are you walking away from me?”
“You want to know everything don’t you. You can’t figure anything out for yourself?” Your mouth slacked open not knowing how to respond. He paced around the room, running his hands through his hair.
“At least I care,” you started shouting, “What’s wrong with you Katsuki?”
“Sometimes I just want to be left alone, but no you have to come follow my ass like puppy.”
You started feeling tears well up in your eyes, “Are you calling me a dog?”
“No, I just-“ He clenched his fists, “You just don’t understand me.”
“I do understand-“
‘No you fucking don’t. You’re only concerned about what you want in this relationship. Maybe I should compare you to a dog, because you’re a bitch!”
“You’re calling me a bitch? Why don’t you look at yourself in the mirror and see what a massive dick you’re being?” Your voice was starting to break. You felt pins and needles in your arms, shaking them unconsciously as well, “I put a lot of care in this relationship. And you’re saying I don’t?”
“You know what, you don’t. I’ve been telling you that you only care about yourself, and look what you do. You’re only concerned about you.”
“Oh my god, you keep blaming me. You’re the one who started this all!”
“No, it was you! You’re the one who chased after me, thinking you could solve this now.”
The tears were now falling down your cheeks, and your jaw started to clench. “I care about this relationship. You think I want this to fall apart.” Your words were said through your teeth.
“Yes, I actually think you fucking do.” Bakugo shouted even more. You’re sure your neighbors were going to put in a noise complaint in the morning, “I do most of the work in this relationship, and you just pretend everything is ok. You didn’t even notice how I was fucking feeling this entire time. You were just in your own little world. You know why, cause you’re a bitch, and you’ll always be one.”
You walked up to him and smacked him across the face; he then grabbed your arms and pinned you against the door, “You think you’re so tough?”
You spit on his face, and that was it. He stormed out and never came back.
You wished you could take it all back. You wish you could do it over.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. You open it to see Bakugo.
“Kat- I mean, Bakugo, what are you doing here?” He looked annoyed and started to lean against the door frame.
“You called me last night. Well, I’m here.” His words were softer than you expected.
“Well, I don’t know what to say-“ you started.
“You’re the one who said you missed me.” He didn’t look you in the eye, “So what do you want?”
You didn’t know what to say. He mumbled something under his breath and started to walk away. You panicked.
“Wait! Don’t go.” You reached out to him. He came back and looked you in the eye.
“What do you want?” he repeated. You swallow the knot that developed in your throat.
“I don’t know.”
“Then it’s over.” He said walking away again. This time, he didn’t come back.
You closed the door and cried about your relationship finally being over for good
