hiiiiii i’m baaack!

i really took a year off. a fullll year. i think i needed a total break to really miss the sims and want to create again. i’ve already been back at it, designing like crazy and have a few things lined up. i’m going to do what works for me and i truly enjoy designing so that’s what i’m doing from now on. 

this pretty sim i decided to start over with? her name is Monroe Jade. she’s an artist, hot headed, creative & is obsessed with her dog Olive. you’ll being seeing a lot of the two of them very soon. 

i was shocked when i came back and saw i gained nearly 100 followers while i’ve been gone so thank you to all of you for giving me the motivation to come back! i hope you all enjoy what i share here. let’s do this!

I’ve been MIA lately due to life. I’ve been playing the game every once in a while but haven’t felt motivated to share anything I’ve been working on. 

Sometimes I feel like deleting every single mod I have and starting over. But maaaan that would be a lot of work. IDK?? I’m just not into it lately. Hopefully I’ll be back soooon with designs & posts.

Morning’s with Nadia | Brindleton Bay - 6:14am

Nadia: Hey Monique, I made breakfast! Can we chat before I get ready for school?

Monique: You cooked?? Girl. What is it. 

Nadia shared her news. They chatted for awhile then she took a shower and headed off to school.

Brindleton Bay | 6:43pm

Nadia waited for Grayson to come over. He told her at school at the end of the day he had some exciting news for her but she’d have to wait till he met her at her house.

Nadia: Gray! I’m so excited to see you! Tell me the news!

Grayson: Hey baby! I have to pull it up on my phone. Look at this! Let’s go sit down.

Grayson kisses Nadia and they head to the kitchen to talk.

Nadia: What is this?! (looking at his phone)

Grayson: We have been talking about getting our own place in the city after graduation. I found the place. What do you think?!

Nadia looked at the listing. She thought about having her own place for the first time in her life and all the things she gone through before she met Monique & how much her life has changed in these recent years. How Grayson has completely changed her life even more for the better and then how sad but also happy Monique would be for her. She frowned. She couldn’t imagine leaving Monique so soon out of High School. But then looked up at Grayson’s smiling face. He was so important to her & having her own place would be amazing. She smiled.

Nadia: Is this for real, Gray? You really wanna move into a place with me? Are you sure?

Grayson: Nadia, I’ve never been more sure in my life. You’re it for me, kid. Now finish your pasta so we can celebrate! 

Nadia smiled. He really is the one.

I took a couple weeks off from playing because I got bored. Then while scrolling thru Tumblr I spotted this sim made by sim_bubble & instantly felt inspired to play again. My Sims family’s son Grayson is a teen & I had been wanting him to have a girlfriend and when I saw her I knew she would be perfect! 

So, this is Nadia. She has quite the backstory. She was put up for adoption when she was really young & lived in the system her whole life since. When she was 13 she got a new social worker & loved spending time with her, they totally had a connection unlike anyone she’d ever known. After a couple years of back and forth between different homes, her social worker adopted her. She now lives in Brindleton Bay with her & her cat Cleo. 

I hope to share more of her story as time goes on, including where she lives and her relationship with Grayson & his family. I just love her! Thanks to sim-bubble for sharing her!
