A Confession

I've only been a fan of Ghost for a few weeks, but in that short time, they've completely taken over my heart. The music, the lore, the aesthetic… and yes, of course, the Papas. Papa III and Papa II have absolutely wrecked me. I know all the names of the ghouls, though I still can't tell them apart—please don’t come for me, I’m trying, I promise.

When I hyperfixate on something, I really go all in. And this band, this entire universe they've created, just speaks to something deep in me. I have the worst crush on both of those Papas I mentioned—probably not an uncommon confession around here. They're so different, but I love that about them. One’s chaotic charm, the other’s icy control… it gets to me.

Here's the thing though—and I’m nervous to even say this. I'm 42, I’m a woman, and one of the ways I love engaging with fandom is through text-based roleplay. Especially of the more adult-flavored kind. I know there are a lot of younger folks in this space, and I want to be respectful of that, but I'm also hoping there's room here for someone like me.

I'm not trying to be weird or inappropriate. I just really love this world, and I want to find people who get it. Who maybe feel a little out of place too, or just want someone to geek out with. I’m still new, and honestly, kind of scared to reach out—but I’d really love to find some friends here.
